Spike chose the wrong day to get lost in high school territory. Him and his friends just wanted to take a shortcut to get to the bus quicker so that they wouldn't be late. As they pass the windows of the Canterlot High gym, they hear someone fighting, then peek inside. He and his friends spot a boxer training, so with their interest at its highest summit they watch the mystery person train. Then as, they saw him go to the locker room, they decided to follow him to the next window.

However he is actually a she. A fearsome one at that.

Join Spike and his friends on his last treasured moments as we look back to the past. He is now Sophomore boy who has one last year with Twilight and her friends. New friends, villains, and a new girl that Spike falls in love with. He has to make this year count in order to have the best life he can ever ask for.

The mane-six want to have fun at the beach along with Spike. During the water filled weekend, Dash has been acting rather... odd around Spike. Overly teasing; physically getting close to him; acting like it's nothing. Just what is Rainbow trying to tell him?

Why do I love him? Because, he's cool, knows what a mare want to hear and he's awesome. But I like mares, and yet, I have strong feelings for him. The only male who was able to steal my heart. Hell and here I thought males were no good slobs. He proved me wrong, oh so wrong. I want to be with him, to hold him, and stay with him. I'll even cut off my wings.....for my love, for him. After a failed attempt at casting spell by Twilight, Spike gets sent to the void, a place which is unlike any other. What will happen to the poor dragon if he were to return one year later, changed, to the world he once knew with horrible memories slowly eating at his mind and only his friends to help him through it all to stop the terrible evil which makes its way to Equestria?

A Spilight story with some fiction to make up for Spike's age and additional knowledge to keep the story moving. Not too much fluff or action happening too fast... everything has its time and place because true love matures slowly!

What can you expect:
-It will be long, I have planned 30 chapters including Prologue & Epilogue so the action might be a little slow at times.
-Spilight but in later chapters. I want to take it slooooow
- Gore: Yes...not at first, but there will be chapters with heavy scenes which might be too...detailed or not suited for sensitive readers as I do have medical knowledge about the subject.
- Sex: Yes, but probably hinted at, in chapter 28. Might write a stand alone CLOP-fic later.

Sure, maybe she catches herself admiring those powerful wings of his and maybe even imagining what it'd feel like to have them rub against her own. Sure, she can't help but try to take a peek at that toned, muscular flank of his, but come on, who hasn't? That doesn't mean she has a crush on the guy.

Rainbow's going to have a harder time deny all that now that she's gone and declared that she can make a pie better tasting than Applejack's, knowing perfectly well of Soarin's love for pie.
