Cloud Nine Has Fallen

The clash and a dragon in the hospital ( new author)

(The next morning)

The sun rose in the distance, bringing the joy of light to life, its rays streaming through the sky as it began a new day of life and love in the land. The birds sang their tunes, waking the individuals from their slumber. One flew through the air, chirping loudly for all to hear; until it nearly got hit by a pillow, thrown by an aggressive mare standing at the window of her cloud house, shaking her hoof in anger.

“Shut up! I’m trying to think of a plan here!” The rainbow colored mare yelled as the bird flew away.

{Rainbow's P.O.V}

Ok, the plan was in action: I would expose Rarity for who she was and Spike would rightfully be mine. All I had to do was hang out with him and tell him what that witch wanted out of him. Then, after we bond, he’d be mine like a Spike in my hoof. That white marshmallow could eat my dust as I freed him from the slave work that she always put him through. We would ride into the sunset together, going on adventures of extreme peril, exploring all of Equestria to its edge. Heck, even Tartarus wouldn’t stop our awesomeness: the plan was foal-proof! Why? Because it was one hundred and twenty percent Rainbow Dash approved; that’s why!

I turned to Tank who had been watching me the whole morning.

“This is it, I'm going to catch me a dragon!" I said with pride, puffing out my chest, ready to reach the furthest little star. Tank blinked two times and smiled at me with confidence. He knew that I had what it took to win.

“Thanks bud.” I nuzzled him before heading to the window.

”This is the day where I, the great Rainbow Dash, will take the first step in freeing a mighty drake from the clutches of an evil witch, and for the future, to bag the cutest dragon to ever breathe." I proclaimed. I thought about all the things we could do with our overwhelming power, and needless to say, what we could do in the dark.

"Mark my words: Soon we will bed in this very room.” I gazed upon the land; there was no way that this could go wrong and--

“He? I thought you were a lesbian! “A voice called out, breaking my thoughts. My eyes shot wide, voice screeching as I lost balance and crashed back into the window, landing on my flank. The back of my head landed with a thud on the floor. That hurt like Tartarus!

I just happened to have to put flooring there for Tank to walk on when I'm out; I couldn't just have had Twilight do that spell on him. Darn it! I looked up, rubbing the back of my head in agony, trying to identify the wise pony who startled me. There stood Derpy the mail pony, staring at me in concern, flapping towards a nearby window to enter.

"Are you ok there, Dash?” No, I was just napping on the floor.

“Yeah, I’m ok.” Whilst getting up, the pain surged through my head. Dang it Derpy, what do want? My mailbox was down there, not here!
“All righty, here is that package you ordered. You wanted it to come up here as soon as it came, remember?” Yes, it came! Two weeks was so worth the wait.

“Here you go, Dash.” She then pulled a box out of her saddle-bag. There it was! I snatched it away from her hooves and flew up in excitement, the package being held close to my chest.

“Thanks Derps. Bye now!” I waved as she flew out the window; at least she didn’t break it this time.

“Oh yeah, one more thing,” Derpy, what is it now? I needed to go. “Good luck nailing Spike! Don’t go crazy with him!” Damn it! Could you yell that louder, so the ponies in the whole of Equestria can hear? She was lucky that I didn’t have neighbors.

“Get out of here, Derpy!”

“Sorry! I’ll go now.” and good riddance! Had any pony heard you, if not already, I’d give you a great big whack upside your head so that your eye would straighten!

If that wasn’t the worst event today, then I was screwed. I didn’t need to worry, I just needed to visit the library and tell Spike that Rarity is using him, and we’d be together forever. I stared down at the box in my hooves. I can't hold it any more: I just had to open it.

I ripped off the paper packaging, not caring about where it went; I’d retrieve it later. What’s in the box is what will really help in my soon-to-be relationship with Spike. A small, purple plush the size of a regular teddy bear lay comfortably in the cardboard container. Ditching the now useless box, I tack the plush in my hooves, taking note of every detail. It looks just like him: the spikes are all in the right place, and the eyes have the same shade of emerald green as his. Ordering straight from the Crystal Empire was so worth it. The ponies over there really do take an awesome guy like him seriously. With this, it’s just like cuddling the real deal. It may be a while, but at least I’m prepared. I hope he will be too when time comes.

After all, he will be dominated by the most awesome pony ever.

“Cause he's got the cutest cheeks ever!” I'm really glad that nopony heard that. I should really start closing my windows more often. There is no telling who else could hear me when talking about Spike. I’d die of embarrassment, especially after what went on last night in my dreams. Whipped cream does seem tasty right now though; I wonder if he’d like it too. No time for daydreaming, it’s time for action. I’m going to claim my prize, a purple dragon with green spikes ready for the taking and to be snuggled in my hooves for all he’s worth.

“Now then, to the Library!” I never thought I'd shout that in my life: only to receive a Daring Do book. But this is bigger than a Daring Do book, it’s about saving spike. Can’t do that by just standing here. The Dash is going in!

{Minutes later at the Golden Oak Library Your point of view}

Dash had arrived at the door steps of the Giant Oak Tree in Ponyville, confidence painted on her face ready to complete the task at hand. She trotted forward towards the door with a smile, but removed it knowing that this was a serious matter. Telling a friend that their mare-friend is using them is a tough deal, but this was to protect someone she cared deeply about. With all her heart she loved him so much that she'd do anything for him.

She straightened up, knowing what she had to do, putting a concerned expression on to her features, to further sell the news to convince Spike. She lifted her hoof to knock, but as she made contact with the door, it opened wide revealing the dark, gloomy emptiness of its interiors. Bewildered, she was sure the library was supposed to be open at this time. Curious as to what lay ahead, she stepped into darkness to investigate the mysterious lack of life in the tree.

The inside was even more horrendous for the eye to see. The once organized library where every book you can possibly need lied, now in ruins. She gasped at the sight of books scattered across the floorboards, pages torn off the covers as if a mutt ripped it out. Ink was spilled all over the tables, dripping along the edges like blood from a murder, committed by a complete psychopath. Trailing the floor forming a pool of black liquid lay hoof prints of ink stamped everywhere. The shelves were cleaned of their contents leaving nothing but layers of dust. Burn marks on the wall of energy burst every way, as if a full out war had taken place on the very ground that Dash stood on. The shock of the sight full all the mayhem would have traumatised a foal for the longest of times.

Webs covered everything, the candles had melted down into mere stumps. The tables were turned, legs high in the air while the table cloth lay at the bottom. Chairs broken, as if they were smash by some wild beast that was disturb from its slumber. Only one question ran through the mare's mind as she studied the atrocious mess before her.

“What the Tartarus happen in here?” she shouted, shocked by the horrifying conditions of the room. Her mind started racing with questions as to what could have happened here. Then a voice broke through the darkness.

"Ahh fire! Fire! Fire!" a feminine voice screeched as smoke fumed out of the kitchen area. Dash bolted to the cry for help, in hope to find out what had happened here, and why. When she arrived, she saw Twilight beating a pot consumed in flames with a wet cloth. The lavender mare tried to put out the flame but to no avail. She then grabbed a cup, not knowing its contents, and splashed it on to the burning fire. To make matters worse, it blazed out with rage and heat scaring Twilight. The mare shrieked, backing away from the gorging flames in fear.

Dash rolled her eyes at the librarians' act, watching her crouch in the corner, covering her eyes, averting them from the frightful scene on the stove. The rainbow maned pegasus sighed then approached the stove. She grabbed a lid and placed it over the pot, sealing it from its air supply. The flames died out quickly as Dash turned to Twilight, who still was cowering in the back of the room.

{Rainbow P.O.V.}

"Twilight, you're horrible at this! You need to learn how to cooking!" Living in a library, I would have thought she'd read something about this.

She perked up to see me standing in the middle of the room, with my hooves crossed.

"Dash what you are doing here?" She asked

"I just put out the fire that you caused, so be grateful. What are you doing here?" I said as she turned her head with a small blush.

“Oh, I was trying to make coffee but it burned, and then it went up into flames… again." she then trotted toward the table and sat down on the seat. “Sorry about the mess Rainbow, I can't seem to function at all this morning." She sighed.

What! She did all of that? The whole place looks like someone had a mad party and invited a pack of tornados. This can't be true, she's the most organised pony in town. There is no way that she could have done this; it's like Pinkie not being Pinkie.

"Hold on there, you mean to tell me that you're responsible for all of this?" I questioned. This had to be a joke, but this was Twilight we were dealing with here…

"Yes and it is my doing that the place is in a disaster; without my morning coffee I can't think straight and I woke up late and tried to do some spells and it backfired and I kept trying to look for the right book but it was too late and it blew up in my face and then a chain reaction occurred and books flew everywhere!" she exclaimed facing down on the table surface, gasping for breath.

Wow, and I here I thought that some big evil creature came stomping in and demolished the entire library like it was no ponies business. The whole place was a wreck and Discord wasn't even here. The last I heard, he was spending time with Celestia. I bet he’d get a crack out of this though. How could this happen? She was always on top of things, her and Spike I mean… wait where was he?

I looked around in the wreckage in search of the drake in question, but nowhere is he in sight. The evidence that shows he even was here was his pink apron, folded neatly in the corner of the counter, the only place in the room that is not in ruins. It’s almost like it hadn’t been touched for days.

That can’t be right, I saw him just yesterday while spying on him. Ok that does make me seem a little like a stalker, but he’s mine and Rarity is the one using him as a slave. I’m the pony who loves him.

So the question is “Where is my Spike?”

“Twilight where is Spike? Isn’t he supposed to be here?” I asked, trying to not sound as if I was desperate to know where he is. To be honest I really am; I need to know where that scaly head is. It’s killing me not to know.

“He did come by earlier this afternoon and said that he needed to help Rarity out with some dresses today. Well, after they were done gem hunting.” She said, rubbing her face with her hooves.

Wait afternoon? It’s eleven o’clock in the morning, and that was yesterday, not today!

“Twilight you egg head! Spike was gem hunting with that enslaving marshmallow yesterday!” I yelled at said egghead, causing her to recoil in shock. I’m so pissed right now. She’s supposed to be the one to know where he is when I don’t! She just happened to have the nerve to say that she ‘thought’ he was gem hunting. That was hours ago, darn it. Hades, I want to punch the living ency’clop’edia of crap out of her. “You mean to tell me that you don’t know where he is?” She’d better tell me something, or so help me I will beat the living hay out of her flank.
“What? it’s tomorrow already?” she said, shooting her head up to glance at the wall clock. “No wonder I was so hungry and sleepy! I guess I was over-doing the reading again.” She smiled, embarrassed“Sorry! Without Spike helping here, I couldn’t keep track of time or anything else!” she said sinking in her seat.

That didn’t answer my damned question.

Now I’m mad. “Where is Spike you egghead?”I yelled. She’d better tell me or I’m going to blow. She fell on her flank looking at me as if I was crazy. I’m not a crazy mare; I’ll be a moonstruck mad-march-mare if she doesn't talk.

“Whoa, Rainbow take it easy,” she said. “He doesn't seem to be here, so knowing to the fact that he didn’t come home to tell me to go to sleep, he probably stayed over at Rarity’s place for the night.” Wait, for the night? Oh no. No, no, no, no, no! That does not sound good. She couldn’t be taking advantage of Spike in the night like that, right?

I left the room for Butique , not paying attention to whatever Twilight was trying to say.

I don’t care, I have to return Spike before it’s too late! Please let him be alright; if Rarity did anything to him... I... Oh Celestia, please don’t let it be that.

I felt myself starting to cry. I don’t cry, but if anything bad happened to him, then I’d happily settle for my tears.

There will be blood spilt if she has hurt him in any way.

He’s my Spike: and she is not going to take him away from me: Nopony will: Ever.

I have to check up on them. Maybe they’re still alright. I flapped my wings as fast as could, the teardrops running from my face into the wind.

My heart started to ache and a deep pain swirled in the midst of my gut. It was like I was on my period. I can’t bear to think of what she’s done to poor Spike.

Please be alright, I’m coming to save you, Spike, I’m coming to save you.

(Soon afterwards at the outique )

I reached the building of the witch, anger coursing through my veins. Rarity, you are dead this time. You’ve been taking advantage over Spike and making him do your slave work for one day too long ; taking out the garbage, acting as your personal pincushion, cleaning your house, fanning you, he did all of this for you and what did he get in return? Abuse.

How could anypony do that to a sweet guy like him? He had done everything for you, you heartless tramp.

"OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW!" I yelled, slamming my hoof on the door, gaining some attention from some ponies around the area, but I don’t care about that right now. Spike is in there, and I’ve got some flank to kick.

I continued to pound at the door for what seemed to be ten minutes. If she thinks she can ignore me, she’s got another thing coming. I need to find an open window to sneak inside and win back Spike. If there isn’t any open, I'll smash one with my bare hooves!

I circle around the building, looking for a way inside. I tried to open the windows, but they were all locked. The weirdest part was that all the lights are off, I thought this place was open by now. Something’s not right here.

I continued to look around the area to see if I could look inside where there was light. Not many results and ponies were starting to stare, but soon walked away. Thank goodness for that. Soon I saw Sweetie Belle trotting across town with Apple bloom and Scootaloo. Maybe she can tell me what was going on, I just need to act cool, can't let Sweetie Belle know that I want to beat her older sister up; that would end badly.
I flew over to them and landed in front of their path.

"Rainbow Dash!" said my orange apprentice with excitement.

"Hey there Scoots." I said, bringing delight to her eyes. I can't really talk to her right now. I needed to find Spike, and Sweetie Belle might just know where he is.

"Listen, I need to ask you all a few questions, ok?"

Then the orange filly jumped out of excitement.

"Yes, of course! Anything for you Rainbow Dash!"

"Well I need to know if any of you know where that bitc-- Rarity is, by any chance." I almost let that one slip. I should be more careful I don't want to talk to anyone about what I say in front of them again.

"Oh she's in Canterlot right now" Sweetie Belle spoke up, wait Canterlot. "She left yesterday morning." Hold on a second, I saw her yesterday. That doesn't make any sense.

"Wait, I thought she went gem hunting with Spike yesterday."

"Well, she was going to do that, but she received a letter from a client saying that it was important, so she left as fast as she could. I stayed at Appleblooms' place last night." This is too weird, that can't be right I saw her... She couldn't be at Canterlot and here at the same time.
"But I saw her with Spike! How can she be over there?" This was getting way too weird, how can this be?

"Well if what you said is true, whichever pony was with Spike was not Rarity." Well that proves it; something was definitely wrong here!
"So let me get this straight, you mean to tell me that Rarity left yesterday and couldn't have been at the gem hunt with Spike and that the pony that was with him is an impostor?" This was starting to get stranger and stranger as I dug deeper into this. My eye was twitching as I listened.

"Yep, that’s about right!" Scootaloo said "Should we be worried about him? By the looks of it, Spike’s in trouble."

"No need." I state, but in my mind I'm freaking the buck out! Someone had my Spike and they were going to hear from me.

"Don't worry I'll take care of it, and Sweetie Belle, tell Rarity I said sorry for the broken window, ok?"

"What window?"

"The one that I'm about to break." With that, I flew up in the air. Once I arrived at Rarity’s house I began my search around again to see if there is anything I could have missed. He’s got to be somewhere here. Then, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a somewhat green light coming from one of the hallways. With that as my ticket for entry, I smashed through the glass and followed through towards the strange green light. Glass was everywhere on the floor now, but this was Rarisluts' stuff, so let’s add a few vases on my way out.

I know I've seen it before, but where? I needed to be quiet if I wanted to know what was going on. The trail of light seemed to lead to Rarities' room. What kind of gem could be glowing like that? I could hear a faint voice coming from the room, but I can't really identify whose it was just yet. I've got to know what’s going on here and get Spike back into my hooves.

I was now at the door, being like a ninja; unseeable, unhearable, undetectable. Spying through the open door, I saw what was to be expected from Rarity; a mess of fabric everywhere in the room. What a surprise that was from the whore of Ponyville.

Then, I see him lying on a pile of fabric, my little Spike is alright. I just want to go in there and hug him, but what if the fake Rarity is in there? If whoever is in there catches me, there is a good chance that I could get hurt, more importantly, Spike could be harmed if he got caught in the crossfire.

I've got to be very careful here so I don't get…

"Who goes there? Come on out! I know you're there, I can see your multicolored tail from the doorway, peasant!"

Damn it! I was in ninja mode, bitch!

"I am the Queen of the changelings and I demand that you come out at once, or the purple one gets it!" She dares to threaten to harm my dragon and thinks she’s going to get away with it?

"I'm going to give you from the count of three to come out." she started to charge her twisted horn which was directly pointed towards Spike’s direction. The rage built inside of me;

she was going to try to hurt my dragon, the nicest guy I know…

"One."

The only one who was able to capture my heart…

"Two."

And that bug was standing in my way…

"Three."

Believe me, no one was going to hurt my Spike…

(Outside the building - Sweetie Belle’s Point Of View)

"WHAT THE HAY WAS THAT ALL ABOUT?" Rainbow just broke one of my sisters’ windows. Why did she just break inside of Rarity’s home and place of business? That made no sense at all!

"Scoots, did you see that!" I said to the crazy mares' follower next to me.

"Yeah, it looks like she was on the edge, then smashed through your sister’s house." Hmm... I never thought Scoot would say something like--"THAT WAS SO AWESOME!" Ah, there it was.

"Ah reckon that this has something to do with Rainbow liking Spike." Scootaloo and I both turn our gaze toward Applebloom. Now, that was the weirdest thing that I’d heard today.

"What? When did you hear that Applebloom!" Scootaloo asked her. I thought Scootaloo would have been the first to since she’s the one who watches Rainbow Dash day in and day out.

"Ah overheard them talking back at the farm with big sis some time back."

Scootaloo gasped.

"Do you know what this means?" She shouted.

"It means that some pony is impersonating my sister and that said said pony might have kidnapped Spike!" I said to my orange friend.

"Well that too." She said, really what else could there be? “It also so means that I don't need to hide Rumbler in my closet anymore!"

"Well, uh, good for you, but what about Spike? He could be in danger!" I said trying to get back on topic.

“Spike was with unknown pony all day yesterday. Based on the awful condition of the library, he probably hasn't been back all night."

"With Rarity being gone, and Spikes crush on her, the imposter could make him bend at their will. Who know what sort of things they could have done to Spike?

If Rainbow couldn't rape Spike then who could...?

“Why are there a green lasers flashing in Rarity's room?" Bright green lights flickered through the window from my sisters’ room. It was like there was a party going on in there.

The three of us watched them, and soon, the whole square was staring at the lights. Then the green glow died down. Sounds of shouting could be heard from two feminine voices and the unmistakable noise of glass shattering broke out . Ponies was starting to stick their heads out of their windows, followed by some stepping out of their homes. Then all the sounds stopped, and dead silence filled the air, only to be broken by a foal crying.

"Shouldn't we… I don't know, like go to see if they're alright or something?" It was a stupid question I know, but I had to say something.

"Wait for it."Uh… Wait for what?”

The answer came rather straightforwardly when a dark figure the size of a large alicorn broke through a window and landed 400 meters away. She looked like a changeling, or at least what was left of one. As we trotted towards the scene, there stood a crazy eyed, rainbow maned mare. By the look of it, she was pissed. The thought to be dead Changeling brought herself up, glaring at Dash with fear and outrage.

"Stay. Away. From. Spike." Rainbow Dash screeched causing the changeling to flee far out of town with her tail between her legs. Yup, just another ordinary day that would wake everypony in town.

But what did get the town's ponies worried was when they all saw Rainbow Dash flying towards a hospital, with a purple object in her hooves. No doubt it was Spike; with pale scales, he looked like a doll being carried by a little filly that had just broken it.
But wasn't he?

(Ponyville hospital Spikes' P.O.V)

Have you ever felt like someone had banged your head so hard that your brain was broken into pieces? Well, that's me. No, my brain is not in actual pieces, but some headache relief medicine does sound nice at the moment. Though I remember all that happened the day before all this happened.

I knocked on the door, trying to get Twilight to open it since it was after hours. After a while, I reached for the key under the mat, but as I bent down to get it, I heard something in the bushes. I remembered the fear I had as I spotted a glowing green that made me feel like it was staring into my soul. I lifted the mat, but to my horror, the key was gone. I panicked and to run, to get out of there, any where: just not there. But as I turned around, a pair of emerald eyes were mere inches away from my face, all I could see was a lusting type of hunger, then I blacked out.
During my lack of animation, I could hear the faint voice of my kidnapper. However, I couldn't make out any sentences. The only words I could hear were distorted because of the spell. The words I could make out were along the lines of; king, young blood, and for some reason she said I was cute in my sleep. That was weird. Why would she have said that about a guy she just kidnapped, who was now laying on the ground unconscious.

Maybe I was just lightheaded, maybe I really hit my head hard on the way over here, or both. I couldn’t conclude because I too tired to even move. Several hours passed, I heard what might have been a fight. With what was left of my strength, I opened my eyes to see the situation at hand. It was a blur, but I saw what might be a cyan, blueberry pop-tart pooping rainbows as it fought back a string of liquorice. The pop-tart delivered several hits knocking some liquid out of its candy enemy, kicking it as it fell on the ground.

The pastry continued its brutal combat by grabbing numerous candy vases and smashing them on the opponents head. It then lifted its cyan fist and punched the dark candy out the room through a magic glass mirror.

OK all of that didn't make any sense whatsoever, but I think what the kidnapper used must have wasted me big time. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in a hospital bed with Rainbow Dash sleeping in a chair that was next to me, her head resting on one of my left solders. I didn't want to move or do anything to disturb her, but it looked like she had been through a lot, judging by the tear stains on her face. She then began to stir, lifting her head up off me, letting out a loud yawn as she opened her eyes, and magenta met green.

We both stared in silence, looking at each other deep in the eyes. Tears started to run down her face, I wanted to ask what was
wrong and why she was crying, but instead she lashed out, grabbing my head and pressing it against her chest into a bear hug. Sobbing, she tightened the affection around me. We stayed like that for like twenty minutes, and to be honest, after having so much emotion squeezed out of you, everything felt blissful, and the hug was heartfelt.

The door then burst open, and through it, five friends trotted in, worryful marks etched on their faces, soon turn to joy as they saw me. Rainbow quickly broke the hug as soon as they entered the room, wiping off the new tears.

"Spike! You're awake! We were all so worried about you. Are you alright? Do you need more blankets? How’s your pulse? Do you have a temperature? Maybe you want a Daring Do book!" Twilight rambled, sounding like Pinkie Pie.

"Whoa, easy there Twilight!" I said, trying to calm her down.

"Sorry." she replied, a little blush appearing on her cheeks.

"Alright, now can anypony tell me what happened?" I needed to know why was I put in the hospital, and who it was that saved me.
When I was gem hunting, the water given to me by the fake Rarity was drugged. The effects of it took longer than what was expected because of my blood line, but I was not immune to it when it all kicked in. That night, I was dragged out to Rarity’s place. Due to my emotions toward the establishment, it was the perfect place to feed. Rainbow Dash was the cyan blueberry pop-tart that saved me before I was drained of all my energy. She rescued me from what could have ended in rape.

"You were out for a whole two days, Spike." Fluttershy said. Wait, it's been that long? Dang it, I’ve taken long naps before, but that really takes the bait by a long shot.

"You’re alright now, right Spike?" Twilight asked

"Well there’s the fact that I still feel tired and a lot of weight is sitting on my chest, but other than that, I’m good."

"The doctor said that you'll be able to leave in a week, and be back on your feet in no time"

"Well that's good news, although I would like to talk to you guys some more, but I’m beat and I would like to get some rest now." they all nodded and proceeded toward the door, but I wanted to say something to Dash first.

(Rainbow Dashes’ POV)

"Hey, Dash can I talk to you for a minute please?" Spike called out before I could reached the door. I suddenly became nervous as to what he wanted to talk about. I made my way to the bed, sweat rolling down my head as I got closer to where he lay under the sheets. When I got up close, he grabbed my neck and pulled me into his arms to hug me. I froze in place as he held me tight. Slowly I returned the hug nuzzling his cheek as he did mine.

"Thank you Dash for saving me, you're the best friend that anypony could ever have." he said before he faded into slumber still holding on to me. He's so cute when he is a sleep. I tucked him in his bed, making sure that he was comfortable, a smile on his face as he slept soundlessly. Gently rubbing his face, I could tell that he was dreaming of something very good, and it was going to get even more awesome. I lowered my head closer to Spikes and I kissed him. On the lips! After about ten seconds, I parted away, and his smile was even bigger than before.

I giggled to myself like a giddy school filly. I had just kissed the guy that I loved, and yes he, was asleep, but I still did it! I was never going to wash my lips after this. I hoped that I could do it again, but when he's awake next time. I could feel my heart flutter just thinking about it. I was acting a little out of character, but that was okay. As long as it was for Spike. As I made my way out of the room I could hear Spike mumble a few words.

"Blueberry… pop-tart" he said peacefully.

Awwwwwww, I thought, so cute. I closed the door gently as I made my leave.

Soon he will be mine, and I will never let him go.
