King Sombra’s dark influence was obliterated by the Crystal Heart, and the villain is well and truly dead. But when he attempts to steal the afterlife of an innocent victim, a human spirit is left hurtling towards Equestria, where this unfortunate soul is revived into the only vessel available: the reconstituted body of King Sombra himself.

Thus, a cheerfully oblivious alien is crammed into the form of the most evil and malicious being Equestria has ever known. Not that Shining Armor and Cadence know this, of course. As far as they are concerned, the King is back and he’s lost his fricking mind.

Here I was, hiking the Appalachian Trail with my service dog, when everyone vanished in the night. Not only that, I've transformed into some bug monster. That...isn't going to help my mental problems very much. Now I got to find a way open up my prescription bottles with hooves. Will I even get more medicine? Is there anyone still around? What about my Grandmother? And I'm pretty sure I can hear stuff screaming and growling in the woods.

Getting home is going to be tough.

The Royal Vault in Canterlot has been sealed to all bar the Princesses and Royal Guard; it is home to some of Equestria’s most dangerous or valuable treasures, such as the remains of the Nightmare Moon incident.

Fate is a tricky mistress; especially so when magic is involved, and now only a short time after the ascension of Twilight Sparkle a new trouble rears its head in Canterlot Castle, right in the bosom of its most secure facility. It’ll prove to be a political nightmare for the Princesses, especially shortly after Twilight Sparkle’s inauguration.

We follow in the hoofsteps of this… new bundle of fun.

The Multiverse. It is a strange place in which there are worlds where things taste like purple and two plus two equals fish and if you divide that by three you get salmon... truly a weird place.

My memory is awful, but after moving around so much in the Multiverse, I had thought I had pretty much done it all.

At least, I thought I had. You see, the Multiverse is like that. It will lull you into a false sense of security, make you think you know what to expect and BAM! You’re a black kitten in a world full of ponies that are every color of the rainbow and the pet of a baby dragon...

Honestly though, this isn’t even on the top ten of the weirdest lives I’ve ever lead... I think.
