A changeling wakes up in a forest, alone and not a single memory. Without so much as a name, he sets out to find his way in the land of Equestria.

I am a king.
A king who was love by his subjects. Best friends with two Alicorns. Two were going to have foals soon. While I had my own foal. A Adopted foal called Nightmare Moon.But...something happened. I got banish from the living. It was a misunderstanding. Banish by my two Alicorn friends. This left my third one heartbroken. This turned her evil. While my subjects cried for me. I hate seeming them like this.
I was soon forgotten.
I have watched the world go by. My daughter getting beaten. My two other Alicorn friends dying and letting their foals Celestia and Luna take over. Nightmare moon...King Sombra...Discord...etc... I have seen it all as it was all I can do.
However...I can feel myself returning. This spell can't keep me like this forever.
I will soon return to my kingdom...subjects...friends...and daughter.

Mikayla and Maximilian Summer get thrown into Equestria. That's not all though. Mikayla is stuck as Nightmare Moon, while Max is stuck as a Pegasus filly named Nightingale. The two end up outside of Ponyville, vastly confused. Who wouldn't be confused when they get turned into a pony! And in Max's case, a pony of the other gender.

Chaos ensues.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack went to far. I barely survive their last prank. Now the Elements are all begging me to be their friend again.
I only have two friends left. Ditzy Doo and... The Darkness. It promises to never hurt me. It treats me like I'm its best friend.
I can feel myself slowly falling apart.

After an accidental summoning and possibly a mental break-down while flying to his vacation, Michael Schmidt is in Equestria as the second coming of Nightmare Moon.

Sorta.

Michael's a bit busy trying to put his memories together about Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria to be concerned about waging eternal night but Nightmare Moon is quite willing to help the process begin in her special way.

Unfortunately for her, Michael is vulnerable to one specific Equestrian pastime: snuggling.

A new pony has been found lying at the edge of the Everfree Forest. A grey unicorn with a strange blue strip of fur on his back, along with three on his face. But those aren't the only strange things. He's got two different cutie marks on his flanks, a wrench on one side and three dots on the other. He also seems to have an obsession with the cellist of Canterlot, Octavia. It can't be a coincidence that Twilight found him at the time of finding that strange, white, twisting statue...

...can it?

The story centers around Steele Bolt. An earth pony, whom for his entire life has always dreamed of being able to fly. Determination; and borderline obsession, has forced him into solitude as he works tirelessly to achieve his goal, causing no small amount of physical harm to himself as each attempt fails miserably.
But now he stands before the latest iteration of his invention, convinced that this time things will be different. This time he will be able to take to the skies - Where he feels he belongs.
Unbeknownst to him, this feat will open up a whole new, unfamiliar world to him.

Author's note: This isn't my first rodeo, but it is the first story I've posted online. I'm eager for any constructive criticism so I can improve, so lay it on me and I hope you enjoy the story!
This story draws some inspiration from the song "Loyalty" by MandoPony, for anyone that's interested.

Twilight has discovered a new spell to use in tandem with the Elements of Harmony. Its intent is to reveal more of the mysteries behind the artifacts. Yet once the spell is cast will the mane six be able to deal with the consequences? What will they learn when they come face to face with the very virtues they claim to embody? The Mane six will have to face their greatest challenge yet. The Elements of Harmony themselves.

Human turned into pony and sent to Equestria in a time about two generations after the current Mane six and must deal with it and his terrible luck. Also, Celestia effectively hates this human.
And he wants revenge.
And is a misanthrope.
And obsessed with silverware.
He can't understand any of these crazy ponies either.

What if, one day, you woke up as the embodiment of nightmares themselves?

In an alley one night, Joseph gets fatally injured after saving a woman from her terrifying nightmares.

He wakes up somehow, but he quickly finds out that he isn’t in his own body. Instead, he wakes up in the body of one of Equestria's most infamous villains.

Joseph must adapt to a world completely alien to him, as well as adjusting to his new body while trying to figure out what, or who he is.
