//------------------------------// // In search of a new life. // Story: My Little Pony: Lambda Needs Friendship. // by Darkjolly //------------------------------// “Soon, I’ll be away from this wretched planet and those parasitic Humans.” Lambda released his grip on King Richard's body, as he no longer needed it, thus becoming a small black and red ball of eleth instead. He only possessed the pathetic King because both of them harbored the same feeling of hatred, which fueled Lambda much more in the process. The ball of energy dropped the unconscious human body unceremoniously as he continued to absorb the Eleth from the large crystal behind him, known as the Lastalia. So many years, Lambda has lived in agony and depression. ‘Monster!, Freak! Abomination! Error of nature!’ Those were a few of the never ending insults every living thing would throw at him. He just wanted to live, he just wanted to go through life peacefully. Why did everything want to attack him on sight? He did nothing to deserve it, only one person made him feel happy, Doctor Cornell. The only Human to truly accept him for who he was, a demon. Then that bitch Emeraude had to kill him, the only good person, his only friend! Was shot in the back right in front of his eyes as they fled from the Telos Astue. But did it end there? Did his suffering end that fateful day? Noooo! The humans of Foda created Protos Heis, a combat humanoid created specifically to self destruct and wipe him off the planet with it or her, however you prefer. Lambda gave the Lastalia a quick glance. “A whole century, One blasted century I’ve been persecuted by Protos Heis. Why couldn’t she understand I just want to live? nothing more, nothing less.” His voice was unsteady, one would not imagine that this demon was feeling sad. But why would they? Humans are prone to attack anything they don’t understand. Lambda floated around impatiently as his eleth ‘storage’ were nearly maxed out. During all the his time on Ephinea, he thought of many ways to fix his predicament. One: Absorb all the Eleth and become Ephinea itself, wiping out humans in the process; No it was too risky plus as much as he loathes those bipedal destructors, he wanted to believe that someone just as kind as Cornell was out there. Two: Just accept his fate and get wiped out by Proto Heis mutual destruction; Now thats just daft. He promised the doctor to live, and live he shall. Three: Escape to another world, even dimension. The further the better; Ye,s that would be the most reasonable, that way he could begin from zero and live in peace, away from Proto Heis and Humans. Perhaps he could encounter more accepting sentient creatures. “Speaking about sentient creatures.” Lambda went into a state of immersion. Black pulses resonated away from him, going right through the planets cavern walls. He was probing for the intruders. It was no doubt Proto Heis and her companions were on their way to save their friend. They had nothing to fear, Lambda had no more need for Richard and If all goes well, he would be out of this dimension before they arrive at the core. “A new start.” Lambda said, hope filling his in round shaped ‘body’. A few minutes passed and as expected Proto Heis and her gang arrived at the Lastalia, shocked to see that their friend was unpossessed from Lambda without having to fight him. They all glared daggers at the floating demon ball, in which he returned with a snicker though of course they didn’t notice, since in his current form he had no face. “Lambda, we know what you're going to do! Please you must reconsider. We understand you’ve been through so much pain but eradicating humanity is not the way.” The young man known as Asbel Lhant shouted as he clutched his sheathed sword handle, indubitably expecting Lambda to say something along the line ‘It’s too late.’ In a way they were too late but just in time for his departure. “You humans never cease to amaze me.” The group all got into battle stance as they awaited Lambda to make the first strike, which never came. “What do you mean, why aren’t you attacking?” Asbel asked utterly confused at the demon, who contained enough power to wipe out the planet, hesitance to strike forth. “I do not seek to destroy your race, I considered it but determined it would be a waste of Eleth.” The line got many hateful scowls in return from the humans. “Therefore, I decided to leave this world and seek another place to reside in.” A hyperactive and absolutely annoying brat of a girl was amazed with what the ball of dark energy said. “You can do that!? Oh could you show us? Think of the possibilities if we could teleport to different worlds.” Multiple sounds of facepalms were heard. “Yes, I'll shall show you vermins.” The red and white haired girl cheered blissfully as she expected Lambda to actually show her his only method to escape from Ephinea. “I’ll shall show you how I use it! Farewell pitiful Humans and farewell Proto Heis.” Lambdas dark round body began to glow white as he conducted the mass amount of Eleth in his body, ripping the fabrics of space around him. The humans could only stand there and gasp as their foe was going to escape. All except one stubborn humanoid. “NO! LAMBDA! My mission is to destroy you, I won’t let you get away!” Proto Heis dashed towards the hightailing demon, ignoring the pleas from her companions to let him go. Her eyes were the same as always when they confronted, merciless. “You’ve made my life miserable, STAY AWAY!” He bellowed, his voice now really furious. His body began to fade as the eleth was discharged and managed to open a interdimensional portal, the demon didn’t know where it lead, but anywhere was better than Ephinea. ‘A new beginning, a new start.’ Lambdas consciousness began dwindle as his body was teleporting away, atom by atom. Oblivious to Proto Heis charging into the interdimensional space rip right behind him, he smiled inwardly ‘A new beginning.’ *_*_* Lambda groaned in discomfort as his eyes began to open. His vision was cloudy but he could make out a high and eccentrically designed ceiling, with a chandelier adhering from it. He tried to move only to realize he was paralyzed against his will. ‘What's the meaning of this!’ He seethed pensively. He didn’t need to look to notice he was back in his humanoid body, the body Cornell made for him, so he could learn to be Human. But how? He plainly remembered ditching the body after his ship crashed on the snowy mountains near Fendel. The noise of whispering and muttering sounded through the room accompanied by the sound of clattering metal. No doubt armor. ‘This is unlikely, there's no way I’m captured by Human soldiers’ “What in tarnation is that?” A heavily accented voice inquired. “Stay back my little ponies, I sense an inexplicable amount of dark magic from this being, it could even rival Discords energy.” Another voice affirmed in a authoritative yet motherly tone. Lambda could tell that whoever that just spoke was in charge. “Oh-oh my, It looks like a monkey.” An barely audible voice said. Lambda rolled his eyes. ‘There goes the possibility of Humans capturing me’ “Teacher, what is it?” Yet another voice, geeky sounding questioned. Just where the hell did he teleport into? A military barrack or a party? “I’m afraid I have no idea, my faithful student.” The motherly voice was then directed at someone else. “Guards please take this being to the royal cell.” Lambda tensed. ‘Over my depleted eleth body.’ He decided to show these beings that he could understand them. “Don’t I get a say in this.” He wanted to sound friendly, but years of persecutions and neglecting has cut him from that capability, instead it came out bitterly. The room was filled with gasps and one loud ‘EEP’, making Lambda wish he could cover his ears, if his arms weren't magically tied to his sides. The sound of clopping started to approach the tied Humanoid. Lambda first thought ‘They better have a good explanation for tying me down, without my consent.’ Until a horned horse filled his line of sight. ‘Equine......Equine with the capabilities of speech, now I’m thinking I should've eradicated humanity instead.’ The white horned horned horse had coral colored eyes and multi colored mane that swayed in the air like if there was a breeze, only that they were inside a building and the air currents couldn’t possibly be that strong without affecting the pendulum. Hey eyes were looking at Lambdas ‘wtf face’ quizzically. “Can you understand me foreign being?” Her voice was steady yet the hint of belligerence was apparent. “Yes, I can understand you. And I shall let you know, I do not take kindly being tied up.” Lambda replied aggravatingly. He had enough of being attacked, chased, tied up, Everything! That harmed him, he had done nothing to deserve any of these hostilities. A painful jab struck him in the stomach, forcing air out. “You shall not speak to the Princess like that.” Lambda shot a deadly glare at the attacker, a black pony cladded in golden armor. “First you tie me, then you strike me. Hit me again, I. DARE. YOU.” The demon said in gradual venomous tone. The guard grinned impishly and rose his hoof to strike once more just before the ‘Princess’ stopped him with a wave of hers. “Enough.” Her eyes were fixed on Lambda. “I apologize, but I cannot release you till I'm confident you won’t harm my subjects.” Lambda spat to the side, earning a bunch of disgusted responses from nearby beings in return. “Listen to me Princess.” He began, every word was filled with bitterness and exhaustion. “I'm tired, I’ve been through a lot and I shall not stay in captivity any longer.” He started shuffling in his bonds, they were strong, but he had the strength of Ephineas Lastalia. “No matter if you decide to let me go or not, I came here to seek a peaceful life not to attack anyon-” “Anypony.” The white horned horse interjected. “Whatever! Let me go, and I will leave your sights forever, don’t and I will still leave your sights forever but the process will be more painful.” Lambda gave a satisfied grin as he expected the equine to tremble under his threatening words. How wrong he was. “Now I’m certain you're a threat to my ponys, guards!” A sound of numerous hooves stood at attention. “Please lock this being up.” Lambda was shocked at first before shaking his head and giving a maniacal chuckle. “Wrong answer fool.” With that he expulsed a tiny fraction of his reserved Lastalia eleth, sending a black shockwave through the room, blasting the princess and the guard out of sight, the sound of other creatures tumbling soon followed. Lambdas magical bondage shattered underneath the potent, foreign magic with absolutely no resistance. The humanoid pushed himself up straight from prone position by using magic and mentally groaned at the sight. He was in some type of fancy, high class ballroom. But instead of sophisticated humans snobs, there were dressed up horses, some with wings, other with horns. ‘I left Ephinea for this.....’ “Guards, apprehend that monster!” Another voice ordered. Lambda turned his sight to what was a dark blue equine, that had both wings and a horn. “Thou foul beast will pay for hurting my sister!” Beast, Monster....this was Fodra and Ephinea all over again. Dropping his head, tears began to form in Lambdas eyes as the painful memories returned, unbeknownst to him, the demon was beginning to levitate. ‘Why don’t they leave me alone?’ His kiddy hands clenched as a dark aura formed around them. His cheeks were matted with wet trails, yet his anger was mere seconds from erupting. He shot his head violently back up to the navy blue horse, who was now flanked by many guards, and screamed in an exasperated manner “LET ME LIVE!”
