I've always wanted to visit Equestria (what brony hasn't), but I soon discover that things very rarely happen the way you intend for them to when I suddenly wind up there myself. The ponies all live in a constant state of fear as a dark gloom lingers over the land, many of them suffering from life-threatening afflictions. Not only that, but I find myself with strange new abilities.

What has happened here? What's happening to me? I will soon discover that I play a major part in the survival of the pony race, but am I up for the challenge that faces me?

What would happen if the Death Note were to fall into Equestria? And what would happen if, during its fall, its very ability changed, to cope with the new universe, and became the Derp Note? These two questions, and more, shall be answered in... The Derp Note!

As it turns out, not all I do is make music. I actually have a pretty decent talent making plush pony dolls on the side. It brings in good bits... on occasion, such as this one time a little baby dragon commissioned me into crafting him a white unicorn with a blue mane to snuggle with at night.

Then one day, about a week later, I suddenly found myself with more clients. Like... a lot more clients.

This story is meant to be the first of many Appendices to A Journey Unthought of: A man's life in Equestria. It is recommended that to avoid confusion, you might read it first rather than this story.

Long before the events of A Journey Unthought of, it was discovered that mankind existed on the very earth that ponies walk. Darker secrets were still discovered, as humanity created nearly all the species in Equestria and beyond through genetic engineering, and were responsible for the creation of Discord. How did his creation come to pass? And what of the mysterious Maiden? What part does she have to play in being the mother to the two most powerful ponies in Equestria?

This story is a sequel to The Dragon Sage

After the events that took place in The Dragon Sage, Twilight and Spike have quietly started living and loving in their castle. Other ponies are bound to find out, so how will they respond? What does this mean for their friends and neighbors?

If you haven't read the previous story, I suggest it, but it is not necessary. Most characters and references to The Dragon Sage take a back seat role in this slice-of-life story. It's more as an extended epilogue than anything else.

Heroes, Freelancers and Other Fools VII

A. K. Yearling (AKA: Daring Do) has traveled and ventured into the unknown for a very long while, and every time she comes back with a little more of experience and a little more of treasure, but, most importantly, she's come back with a story to tell. Such adventures have been the delight of her readers throughout Equestria, and she couldn't be more satisfied of her accomplishments.

But when one opportunity of travel presents her from the hoof an incomparable source, the chance doesn't slip her sense of adventure, and perhaps the next story plot for her new book. Now, shipped to the mysterious and desolate land only named in forgotten charts as Katha, the explorer will have to join the already extravagant escort of the Royal Iterator and Researcher Pen Pusher as he searches in the name of Equestria for perhaps what is known to be the most evasive and valuable treasure of all – a piece so precious that entire civilizations have struggled and perished to acquire, and that, supposedly, contains the ultimate truth of the creation of this world – the mythical Stone of Light.

The griffin lands are not quite peaceful as say Equestria. Though crime is still present in the pony society, it is very much at a minimum. Mercenaries, freelance body guards, and even contract killers are very much present in griffin society. The griffins are by no means uncivilized, but you shouldn't trust one with noble blood, or you may find yourself dead.

A griffin mercenary, working with his sister, receives a summons by one of two High Lords of Austrahem. One of six provinces of the loosely united griffin lands, each controlled by a single king. Then from his grand hall, the High King resides to provide some sort of unity to the six provinces.

Seeing an opportunity to expand their horizons, they meet with him. Meanwhile a human, displaced by powers unknown, is stuck in the aether separating dimenisons.

My version of Lauren Faust ending up in Equestria. I probably got her character all wrong. Hey, I never met her, cut me some slack.

So, Lauren Faust is Queen of Equestria in this story. How will she react? How will everypony else react? And what does Pinkie's chimicherrychangas have to do with all of this? One thing is clear already. For Twilight and her friends it won't be the same.

Added AU tag, 'cause someone mentioned it would be safe. And when I think about it, I don't think we ever get to learn who the princesses parents are.

Just a note, this is set during season two. So the events of "A Canterlot Wedding" haven't happened yet.
