When something is taken, it leaves a space. This is basic physics, it’s how the world works; the bigger the object the bigger the space it leaves. When something is the foundation, the framework on which everything else is built, the whole structure will come crashing down, leaving nothing but rubble and dust. When something is taken from a pony, she must come to terms with what it is she has lost and what it is she has gained. Rainbow Dash must now find something new, a new foundation on which to build herself, a daunting task if faced alone. Can she resurrect her oldest friendship when she needs it the most?

So this is it; the story I wrote to celebrate my one year Fimfiction anniversary. Huge thanks to AppleDashFan123 for proof reading and generally giving great advice. I've put a lot of work into this and I hope you enjoy it. As you can see, the cover art is a little plain. If you know of any cover art I could use, check out the blog post I made about the subject. It all began during a terrible storm. Two mares with an awkward and bitter past end up forced to share each others company. A kindness offered and a kindness reciprocated. And before either one knew what was happening they were both tumbling head over hooves. But into what? Friendship? Or something more.

Rarity wakes up with a splitting headache, a hatred for light and sound, fuzzy memories she's sure are better left forgotten, and Trixie Lulamoon clung onto her beneath the covers.

Join Rarity as she struggles to understand how and why the most boastful mare in the universe has dedicated every living breathing moment to please her. And feel free to laugh at Rarity's pitiful attempts to hate it.

Rated "Teen" for suggestive themes, implied alcoholism, innuendo, and crack-shipping syndrome... Don't judge me.

Princess Cadance has saved all of Equestria from the changeling threat. What comes next isn't going to be half as easy.

One wedding may be cancelled, but a new engagement has begun.

Warning: This is an attempt to make the Cadance/Chrysalis ship work, without too much darkness (though there will be some), or it leading to an inevitable bad end. If you hate this idea, believe that Cadance ending up with Chrysalis is automatically a bad end regardless of circumstances, or just think it's plain impossible to pull off then please move on as this fic is probably not going to be for you.

Still if you want to see if this pretty cracky ship can somehow be made to work, and have some fun along the way, then this just might be the fic you are looking for.

If you still hate the concept enough that you feel that you have to hit the dislike button, then fair enough, but if you find something else objectionable then please post a comment, or basically I'm going to assume that you're just disliking the ship rather than the story and ignore you.

The Sex tag is there for some of the humour, some implication to off screen activities, and a few bits on screen that while are no where near the mature rating do push things somewhat compared to the rest of the fic. If you're wondering where the Comedy tag went I decided while I do believe there's a lot of fun and amusement to be had, I can see why it might mislead some readers as some of the events are taken more seriously that you'd expect from an all out comedy.

Following the events of Boast Busters, Trixie decides to hide from the town (and Rainbow Dash in particular) by taking cover in the Everfree Forest.

Trixie discovers not every problem can be outrun, and sometimes facing them can have unexpected consequences.

Applejack and Rainbow Dash have been in a relationship for a long time. But things take a turn when they both get into an argument in which neither of the stubborn mares back down to, and their relationship ends. Rainbow is heart broken, for the Pegasus is still in love with the farm pony. That's when the kindest Pegasus known as Fluttershy, steps in to help Rainbow Dash out with the grieving for her and her once was marefriend. But while beginning to heal from this heartbreak, Dashie starts to fall for the kind Pegasus. Despite that her and Applejack are over, Rainbow is still in love- (or she still believes she is)- with Applejack. How will she find out which card to choose, without picking the wrong one?
