Rainbow Dash discovers the truth about the mares in Ponyville. They all try to hide it but they all want the D
Rainbow Dash has always been full of herself and always thinking that she was the coolest mare in Equestria. She had always suspected that all the mares were into her, jokingly. Then one day it suddenly started coming true...
When Spike tries to get help from Celestia he only sets off a chain of events that will forever change Equestria.

Rainbow Dash had always felt awesome. Never a day would go by where she wasn't the most awesome thing in Equestria. She knew that whenever something awesome was about to occur she would be involved. Rainbow Dash knew it was only a matter of time until all the mares wanted the D. After all, why settle for any lame old stallion or random mare when you can have the Dash?
She truly believed that in her hearts of heart it was true. Then the day when the idea became a reality happened and she wasn't prepared for the mayhem that would follow.
It was another bright and beautiful day in Ponyville, all the ponies were active and doing their jobs or chatting with their friends and everything had been seemingly great. All the ponies had been minding their own business when a sudden influx of rainbow colors had interrupted their peace.
Rainbow Dash was flying around town like a menace and causing ponies to yell in anger at her antics. She wasn't paying them any mind since she was training to be a Wonderbolt. She had no time to worry about collateral damage. She made sure not to fly too close to the stalls so they didn't get wrecked by the force of her awesomeness.
While flying around at incredible speeds she decided to grace the town she almost wrecked with a beautiful Sonic Rainboom. Her signature move had the radiance and beauty that rivaled Celestia's own. "Ponyville I am here to make Sonic Rainbooms and chew bubblegum..." she put her glasses on and with a deeper voice finished her sentence, "and I'm all out of bubblegum."
That was the last thing the ponies who weren't able to ignore Rainbow Dash heard before they saw a beautiful flash of light with a not so threatening boom that followed the burst of colors. Rainbow Dash had performed a Sonic Rainboom at enough height to cover the entire town but not destroy it. She didn't give much thought to how the mares were all staring at the brilliant display and went on with her day.
Twilight had been getting her future home ready with Rarity's help. She was grateful for Rarity's assistance and willingness to go the extra mile and make the castle even more aesthetic. She also had a very extra helpful Spike assisting her as well. "Alright guys we have been working hard and I feel it would be a great time for a break."
Spike was glad to take a break and was hoping he could do something with Rarity alone. "Well since we haven't had any lunch, how about we get something to eat, Rarity?"
Rarity passed because she was dieting. "I shall pass; I have to keep my mare-ish figure, Spike, since I want to look extra fabulous in my new dress."
Twilight decided to take Spike on his offer. "We can have lunch Spike, how about we go get Rainbow Dash and we can all eat together."
Rarity raised an eyebrow at Twilight and coughed to get her attention. "Since when do you and Rainbow Dash eat lunch together?"
Twilight hadn't thought about it when she said it. "Actually, it's not something I normally would do but I just kinda had this feeling that I should invite her to lunch today."
Rarity was suddenly hungry and wanted to join in on the lunch. "Well if you're inviting Rainbow Dash, I suppose I can have something light to eat."
Spike was lost in the mix but for some reason he wasn't a fan of Rainbow Dash at that moment.
Applejack was getting a mighty fine hunger built up after bucking them delicious juicy apples off the trees that held them. "Whoo whee, I am hungrier than a Timberwolf after sundown." She could smell Granny Smith's cooking and wanted nothing more than to go inside and dig in. Then she thought of something that was more pleasing to her. "What if I have lunch with RD instead, I haven't been able to hang out with her much these days with all the world endin' that has been goin' on."
She decided to go searching for Rainbow Dash when she noticed a canary colored pegasus in the sky flying slowly. "Fluttershy? Is that you?"
Applejack watched the pegasus make an "eep" sound, which confirmed her suspicions, before said pegasus landed next to her. "Fluttershy, whatcha doin' in the sky just now?"
Fluttershy looked over to Applejack and dragged her hoof across the floor. "I was looking for Rainbow Dash. You haven't seen her have you?"
Applejack chuckled at the coincidence. "Not at all, I was fixin' to look her up myself. I wanted to get some grub with her."
Fluttershy smiled. "I was wanting to eat lunch with her too. I think if we both look for her together we can find and have lunch with her."
Applejack wasn't too eager to share her RD time but it made more sense for two heads to search for one wonderful mare. "Did I just think that?"
Pinkie Pie was using her balloon to search for her target. She was on the prowl looking for her victim. She had to catch the prey before it had a chance to escape her grasp. "Hunting a Dashie is super fun!" She yelled which made a bunch of ponies look up at her.
She blushed and tried to ignore their gaze as she searched for Rainbow Dash. "Here Dashie, Dashie, here girl," she called out softly hoping to coax the pegasus out of hiding.
She was hunting Rainbow Dash down to invite her to lunch. She had wanted to eat some sugary sweets but for some reason needed the company of her best friend. She saw what appeared to be a sleeping Rainbow Dash and just as she approached her target there were other bogies in bound.
"Son of a...What are Fluttershy and Twilight doing here?"
Rainbow Dash had been peacefully napping while having an awesome dream about being a Wonderbolt and getting all sorts of praise for her spectacular performance. Nothing was going to ruin that moment for her or so she thought. She was beginning to hear Fluttershy, Twilight and Pinkie Pie's voice and the dream world was slipping away.
She opened her eyes and sure enough were three ponies that were invading her personal space and having an argument of some sort. "I guess I need a new sleeping cloud huh?"
They ignored her and kept arguing and that just annoyed her even more. "I said! I guess I need a new sleeping cloud huh?!"
They each looked at her and blushed. She noticed they each were really close to her and uncomfortably so. "So...What's destroying the world now that you guys need me to take care of?"
Twilight spoke up first, "Well you see...I wanted to see if you were up for some lunch. These girls apparently want you to join them as well."
Rainbow Dash looked at them and raised an eyebrow. "Why don't we just all have lunch together then?"
Twilight, Pinkie, and Fluttershy all looked at each other and nodded. As much as it pained them to share their Rainbow Dash time it had to be done.
Rainbow Dash had arrived at the park and saw all her friends there looking around as if searching for her. "Hey girls, sorry to keep you all waiting I just needed to do a few things."
Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash and used all her willpower to keep herself from charging at Rainbow Dash and taking her right then and there. "Not a problem, RD, we jus' wasn't goin' to eat without ya is all."
Spike noticed how Applejack didn't get mad at Rainbow Dash for being late and also how all the mares were basically violating Rainbow Dash with their eyes. He wanted to test something before he made a big deal out of his plausible delusion. "So Rainbow Dash, did you forget to shower? Your coat is giving off a rank stench"
He looked around and sure enough all the mares were glaring at him.
Rainbow Dash sniffed her self and shrugged. "I don't smell anything. Do you guys smell anything?"
The group of mares all got uncomfortably close and began sniffing Rainbow Dash a bit more than what was considered normal. They each took a huge whiff in and moaned at the scent that the Dash was giving off.
Rainbow Dash flew straight into the air and looked at them all nervously. "Do I smell bad or what?"
Rarity had spoken up before the others could. "Darling, you smell fabulous, absolutely refreshing to my nose."
Fluttershy chimed in. "You smell great, Dashie. You smell like Angel Bunny right after I give him a bath."
Pinkie Pie was the only pony to be brave with her declaration. "You smell delicious, like a yummy cake that I would love to eat."
Rainbow Dash didn't catch the meaning and just settled down and got ready to eat. What she did notice though was all the mares began gravitating towards her. "So what's on the menu?"
All the mares had same the same thing in thought. "You..."
After an awkward and prolonged lunch Rainbow Dash felt ready to hit the skies and be one with the wind. She had eaten a yummy hay sandwich then she was fed by the other ponies tenderly. She didn't understand why she was getting so much attention from her friends and why they all seemed so touchy feely lately. "Well guys I had a great time but if I don't keep up my training I can't ever be ready to fly with my idols."
Fluttershy giggled, "Oh Dashie, you're way better than they are. If you like I can watch you fly. I can even fly with you, if you want. I think my flying speed has gotten a bit better since we trained for the Equestria games."
Pinkie Pie looked at Fluttershy and cursed her silently for having wings. "Well I can't fly with you, Dashie, but I can definitely come watch you practice."
Twilight flexed her wings and smiled confidently. "I definitely can fly with you and since I am taking a break from getting my castle ready, I can use the exercise."
Spike was watching each of these usually responsible ponies throwing away their scheduled days to ogle Rainbow Dash. "Hey what's going on here? Rarity and Twilight you guys are supposed to be fixing up the castle remember? You made an entire schedule around this Twilight?"
Twilight glared at Spike menacingly. "Spike...I think it would be fine if we were just a tad bit late getting back to slaving away. It's not like I am going to move into the castle right away, anyways."
Spike gulped and kept quiet. If he was going to figure out what was going on it would be by himself. He had to get to Celestia and inform her of the situation. He ran off to write a letter in private and hopefully get a response.
Applejack and Rarity knew they had other things to do besides gawking at the amazing Rainbow Dash but even with their busy schedules they decided that staring at the gorgeous flank wouldn't do them any harm.
Rainbow Dash was busy flying around an empty portion of the park. She was flying around fast and doing tricks while keeping her mind focused on her future. She had never had this much support from her friends and was feeling excited. "Hey guys I hope you are enjoying the show!"
She waved at them quickly before doing a series of tricks and turns that for some reason had her audience amazed.
Twilight was in the air flying around and getting a better view of her sexy friend. "Did I just think Rainbow Dash was sexy? Well she is...I wouldn't mind putting my tongue..." her thoughts were cut off by the presence of her other friend with the gift of flight.
Fluttershy was flying around as well and she was enjoying it for the first time in a while. She was in the sky with Rainbow Dash and she for some reason couldn't keep her eyes off the athletic wonder. "Way to go!" She cheered as Rainbow Dash made another series of turns around a cloud and shaped it into a pillar.
Pinkie Pie was not satisfied with the lack of a good view. She wanted to see more of Rainbow Dash and preferably more of all of her. She never had felt this strongly about wanting something since the Marzipan Mascarpone Meringue Madness. She started to drool a bit at the thought of Rainbow Dash covered in sprinkles and chocolate syrup.
Applejack wished it was Cider season so she could entice Rainbow Dash to come over her farm and drink some cider together. She would be able to make Rainbow Dash smile and for some reason that thought was making her desire a closer view of her winged obsession.
Rarity was going to have to do something to get more time with the winged wonder. She had thought of an idea that would surely make Rainbow Dash come to her. If she made a replica of the Wonderbolt's uniform she could definitely make Dash a happy pegasus.
Spike had written a letter to the princess and waited for a reply. "Come on Princess Celestia, I need you now more than ever," he said to himself while pacing in the library. He was not sure if his friends were under some love spell or if they have been tricked into drinking a love poison but their behavior was off and strange.
His mouth suddenly opened and he belched out a response. "Finally!" he opened the scroll and read the message inside.
Dear Spike,
Don't worry about Twilight and the rest, They have absolutely no chance with Rainbow Dash, and once they realize that she and I are meant to be, they will back off and return to their normal lives. As you read this letter just know that I will be heading over to set them straight and take my beloved with me back to Canterlot.

Spike's one hope for salvation had become infected by whatever is making all the mares want the D...
Canterlot Castle was in complete disarray and the source of the madness wasn't the usual suspect. Discord wasn't amused with the freelance anarchist wrecking his home turf. He decided to keep it real and find the culprit to teach him some manners. He investigated the scenes and noticed each crime committed had one thing in common; scared maids and castle guards.
He wondered what kind of foul creature could do so much damage and not be in Celestia's radar. He then stumbled upon the latest active crime scene and found the source of the chaos. "What do we have here?" he whispered to himself in surprise.
Discord saw that Celestia was wearing a wedding dress while yelling at ponies for not having it completed sooner. She seemed upset about the measurements being off by a bit. He was baffled since he wasn't aware that Celestia was going to get married and wanted to know which pony had won her heart.
"Hey, Sun Butt, I see you’re trying to squeeze into that dress but what's the occasion?"
"Discord! I don't have time for your silly games or any nonsense, I need to get ready and retrieve my bride to be."
Discord at this point had to know who exactly has Celestia this wound up. "So which unfo-lucky mare is going to be with you in wedded matrimony?"
Celestia looked over and grinned at Discord. "Rainbow Dash!" she proclaimed with utter joy.
Rainbow Dash felt extremely tired and was pouring a copious amount of sweat. She had been performing for the increasing number of Dash fans that have poured in from all over Ponyville. She never had this amount of support and was looking forward to how much attention she would receive when she becomes a Wonderbolt. "I know you all came here for a show, but like all good things it must end. I will be stopping now because I need a nice bath and some rest."
A chorus of disappointed ponies had harmonized into one loud "Awwwww," before they all continued staring at Rainbow Dash in silence. Rainbow Dash looked around and could see a giant crowd of mares below. She wondered if the entirety of Ponyville was watching her. "So...Yeah...I'm going to be going now, see ya!"
She tried rushing off but was stopped by a familiar face. "Fluttershy?!" She gasped in surprise as her usually timid friend had been bold enough to block her escape.
Fluttershy giggled, "Silly Dashie, you don't have to bathe alone...Why don't you come to my house and we can have a nice bath together."
Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow at Fluttershy and was going to ask if she was feeling alright until Twilight got in her personal space.
"Hey Rainbow, you know I have books on preparing the perfect bath, maybe you should let me try out what I learned from reading it."
"Umm, maybe some other time, I kinda do my bathing...Alone."
Fluttershy was pissed with Twilight trying to D block her like that. "Twilight, books don't help with relaxing baths but a bath buddy does. I used to take baths with Rainbow Dash when we were fillies, so just leave this to me."
Twilight huffed and narrowed her eyes, "Well maybe Rainbow Dash has outgrown you and needs a new bath buddy?"
Rainbow Dash couldn't take the fighting and decided to make a judgement call. "How about you both join me for a bath as long as you two stop acting so weird...It's just a bath, for Celestia's sake!"
What Rainbow Dash didn't see when she was flying off to her house, with Fluttershy and Twilight in tow, was the look of murder the other ponies were giving the two winged hussies trying to hog their Dash. They were each now planning their own way to lure Rainbow Dash to spend time with them.
Discord was almost going to change the proverbial channel but he couldn't stop watching Celestia throw a tantrum over the dress she swore was for an actual wedding. He couldn't for the life of him figure out why she was acting so out of line over Rainbow Dash. It was high time he decided to make good use of this madness for his own sake. "Hey, Celestia, you do know that Fluttershy kind of has dibs on Rainbow Dash right?"
Celestia was in the middle of flipping a table when she heard something that made her rage go from mild to explosive. "Discord! What makes you think that some skittish animal hugging hippie could ever be any closer to the love of my life than I am?"
Discord had finally seen the edge of insanity and he smirked wickedly. "Oh I don't know; it's just what Fluttershy told me. She and I are pen pals you know."
Celestia's normally gentle eyes were now on fire. "I assure you, Discord, that Rainbow Dash and I are meant to be together. All of Equestria will know this when I retrieve her. We are going to have a spectacular wedding and then our wedding night will be filled with passionate moans and my tongue-"
Discord covered his ears but his eyes were still open. He cringed as Celestia moved her hooves to pantomime what looked to be something extremely sexual. He couldn't make out what she was mouthing but it wasn't anything he was interested in finding out. Discord suspected that things were going to get interesting very soon and wanted to see how things play out firsthand.
Rainbow Dash had underestimated how big her tub was and paid the price for it. She was sandwiched in between two very clingy mares that were being liberal with their cleansing activities. She didn't stop it because it almost felt like she was a princess being catered to by spa ponies. "Yeah, that's the spot Fluttershy!"
Rainbow Dash had noticed that as soon as she praised a friend, the other would work even harder for her affection. Rainbow Dash hadn't the slightest clue when cleaning a friend became competitive. "Ooh, Twilight, don't stop!"
Fluttershy mumbled something and splashed Twilight with water using her wings.
Twilight splashed her back and glared.
Rainbow Dash had been thoroughly cleaned and wanted the water battle to end so she got out of the tub. "Alright bath time over time to get some rest. If you two don't mind, you can see yourselves out."
Fluttershy and Twilight looked at Rainbow Dash with sad puppy dog eyes. They even went as far to shake their bottom lip to increase the effect it would have.
Rainbow Dash almost died of cuteness overload and had to hold a hoof to her chest to keep still her rapidly beating heart. Once she recovered from the shock of seeing something so cute, she had given up on kicking them out. "Alright, you two can stay while I nap but be quiet...I really need to doze off for a bit."
Twilight and Fluttershy grinned while rubbing their hooves together in secrecy.
After all the yelling and tossing of various objects, Princess Celestia looked stellar. "Discord, I know being good isn't your strong suit so just try not to kill or maim any innocent ponies while I go get my wife to be."
Discord changed his tone to a pleading one and put an innocent facade on. "Actually if you don't mind I would love to accompany you on your trip. I want to see my favorite princess finally getting the mare of her delu-dreams."
Celestia was cautious with allowing Discord to attend important events and this event was the second most important. "On one condition; you must leave a note for Luna in case she wakes up and seeks me out."
Discord grinned like the cat that ate the canary, "Alright I shall drum up one note. Luna will be at ease if she wakes since I will explain in detail what is going on. Now let's hurry along as your destiny awaits."
Discord watched as Celestia got giddy and when she wasn't in view he almost died of laughter. "I wish I knew who was behind all this. I would invite them to hang out any day of the week."
Discord wrote a note to Luna that read:
Dear Moon Butt,
Your deranged sister and I went to kidnap Rainbow Dash.

He rushed to Luna's room and placed the note on her forehead with adhesive magic so she wouldn't miss it when she wakes up. He noticed how peaceful Luna looked in her sleep and cringed. "Peace is so overrated..."
Spike had been busy trying to solve this mystery and come up with a plan to free the mares of whatever is driving them to Rainbow Dash. He had gathered all the jilted and abandoned stallions to meet up with him in Golden Oaks Library. When all the lonely stallions arrived he got himself ready to engage his audience.
"My fellow stallions-"
"You're not a stallion," an angry pony had called out.
Spike growled a bit, "Look I’m just as mad as the rest of you, we need to calm down and figure out a plan to deal with this problem."
Mr.Cake sadly chimed in, "I will do anything to get my wife back. it happened randomly; my wife just said she had to go 'taste the rainbow' and left the bakery. I don't know what's going on but I can't lose my wife."
All the stallions were murmuring in agreement. They each had been suffering the loss of a mare in their life and they each felt a bit better that it didn't only happen to them.
Spike coughed into his hand and continued speaking. "See, my mare had been taken from me t-"
"You never had a mare," that same heckling pony from earlier stated.
Spike's voice got really deep and he let loose,"You interrupt me one more time and I'll roast your ass!”
The stallion kept quiet and Spike was able to proceed.
"As I was saying, our mares are being lured to Rainbow Dash and we have no clue as to why. What I do know is that we can't allow this to continue. I say we come up with a way to lure our mares back to us."
Thunderlane was enchanted by Spike's passionate speech. "Yeah! I say we all become colt cuddlers and show them what's what!"
Spike face palmed and sighed in agony, he narrowed his eyes and continued on. "Your idea was terrible and you should feel terrible. My idea is we protest this insanity by going on strike. We shall not lift a single claw or hoof to help the mares of this town until they realize that we aren't going to be ignored."
"Eeyup," Big Mac shouted in agreement. Big Mac had been dying for some vacation time and as much as he loved his family they could survive without him.
All the ponies in the crowd had been convinced and they all cheered at Spike for his brilliant idea.
Rainbow Dash was in bed with two hot mares and they each were snuggled up to her intimately. She wasn't the sort of pony who openly expressed her longing for intimacy. She had always kept her emotional barrier in check because she was the awesome mare that could do it all.
She noticed how peaceful Twilight and Fluttershy looked while they were resting at her sides. "Whatever is making you girls this happy, I hope it never goes away."
She caressed Twilight's cheek and gave Fluttershy's forehead a gentle kiss. She then closed her eyes to enjoy a nap that she totally deserved. Unaware of the chaos going down in Ponyville, she slept with a soft smile on her face.
Pinkie Pie had teamed up with Mrs. Cake to bake a delicious assortment of treats for Rainbow Dash. They decided they would work together and share Rainbow Dash.
Rarity was working on a Wonderbolt's costume that had the finest aerodynamic materials and was stitched together with love.
Applejack decided to go into the secret Apple family cellar to get their most potent and tasty cider that was only meant for special occasions.
The spa ponies were preparing an erotic spa treatment. They agreed to play with Rainbow Dash and each other once they seduced her with their gentle touch.
Cheerilee tossed her school papers aside to write a fancy love letter to Rainbow Dash.
The mayor was going to give Rainbow Dash the key to the city with a note attached to it. In the note was a private message for Rainbow's eyes only.
While all the mares had been deviously planning ways to seduce Rainbow Dash, Princess Celestia was about to make her grand appearance.
Celestia arrived at Ponyville with Discord flying next to her carriage that was drawn by royal guards. She instructed her guards to wait by the carriage as she wasn't planning on staying too long. Her mission was simple, she would grab Rainbow Dash and take her back to Canterlot. She knew there was chance for resistance and that's why she brought Discord along.
"Just so we're clear Discord, you will not cause harm to the ponies that try to stop me. I wouldn't want any of my subjects hurt over their inability to see how perfect Rainbow Dash and I are as a couple."
Discord almost laughed at Celestia but kept his composure. "Sure I will make sure that no pony gets in the way of true love. I just have one question, what if Rainbow Dash doesn't want to go with you?"
Celestia giggled, "Discord, you're so silly. If you so much as jinx this for me I will turn your insides out and make sure you suffer for eternity."
"Well that escalated quickly," Discord thought as suddenly the situation became serious. It made him wonder just how far would Celestia go to ensure that Rainbow Dash was her bride.
Spike was in on a podium in the middle of town with a megaphone and a crowd of disgruntled stallions. He had rallied his troops and was ready to make the strike public.
"What do we want?" Spike yelled into the megaphone to make sure his question was heard.
"Our mares back!" was the response the crowd replied with passion.
"When do we want them?" Spike yelled even louder into the megaphone.
"Now!" was the response the stallions gave while matching the volume of their leader.
Just as they were ready to repeat themselves a random "Shut up! No pony cares!" was yelled by a particularly pink pony.
Spike tossed the megaphone unto the ground and smashed it into pieces. He immediately disbanded the group and decided he had enough. "I don't need to put up with this. I am the hero of the Crys... Why didn't I think of it? I know where I need to go."
Spike left behind his fellow male comrades to sulk in their short lived and failed strike. While it was a dick move to just abandon the stallions without informing them of where he was off to, he knew that time was of the essence.
Rainbow Dash was returning home from a long flight with the Wonderbolts. She had been flying with them for a while and enjoyed owning the sky like a goddess. "Well it's time to rest my wings and have me a nice long sleep," she said while opening the door to her mansion.
She went inside and was instantly greeted by an army of mares, and foals that resembled her. Rainbow's eyes opened wide and she began panicking. "What, who, why?" was the last thing she uttered before the world went black.
Rainbow Dash awoke with in a panic and woke up the two sleeping ponies that rested by her side. She breathed heavily and when she fully was conscious she calmed a bit.
"Rainbow, are you alright?" Fluttershy's softly whispered.
Twilight yawned into her hoof and gave a look of concern at the her object of desire. "Have a bad dream or something?"
Rainbow Dash looked at them both, one at a time. "Yeah, I just had this strange dream that I was...Actually I rather not talk about it. I rather we just get up and go about our day."
Fluttershy didn't get her fill of Dash time and needed more. "Why don't you stay with us a bit longer, I mean if you want."
Twilight looked around the room and found the Daring Do books and pulled one out. "Yeah, let's read some Daring Do and stay in."
Rainbow Dash felt trapped in her own home. "Well guys, don't you think we stayed here long enough? I mean, Fluttershy, your animals probably need your attention and, Twilight, where is Spike?"
Fluttershy frowned, "I guess you're right those animals really are needy. I need to teach them to be more self reliant if I am going to be able to live my life with you."
Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow to that. She just heard Fluttershy forsake animals and that has never happened before.
Twilight giggled, "Rainbow Dash, you don't have to worry about Spike. He is able to handle himself and I'm sure he can survive one night...Two...My life if yours!"
Rainbow Dash widened her eyes and coughed. "What did you just say?"
Twilight blushed and excused herself. "I guess I could go for a bit...Sorry I just..."
Rainbow Dash watched as Twilight teleported out of the home and Fluttershy left sadly. "What the hay is going on?"
Spike was running to the train station when he ran by Celestia and Discord. He didn't have time to be pleasant and say hi because his mission was of the utmost importance. His baby dragon feet were being used to their limit as his speed was rivaling that of Scootaloo's.
When he made it to the station, he noticed that there was no one there. "Of-bucking-course, the one time I really need to get to the Crystal Empire and this happens. Well I got legs and a goal so I will have to adventure on to the Crystal Empire. Wait for me Rarity, I will fix this and then...Who am I kidding, you're still not mine. One day you will be..."
With that vow, and the goal of fixing Equestria, Spike sets out on a not so treacherous journey to the Crystal Empire.
Celestia noticed Spike fleeing from Ponyville and that made her worry that something was wrong. She didn't bother stopping Spike to ask what the issue was because her Rainbow Dash could be in danger. "Discord let's make haste, my love could be in danger."
Discord was still nervous being near a deranged princess. "Ok...Just don't threaten me again..."
Celestia ignored his plea and rushed into the center of Ponyville ready to destroy anything that would harm her precious Dash.
When she and Discord, who was lagging behind, made it to the center of Ponyville she saw a bunch of dejected stallions and a broken megaphone. "My little ponies, what seems to be troubling you all?" She really didn't give a squirrel's fart about their plight but since Rainbow Dash wasn't in danger she could at least perform her duties as a princess.
The stallions all turned to their fearless leader and felt as if it was the end to their troubles. "Princess Celestia! If you're here then you must know that we are all having an issue," said a random stallion.
Princess Celestia tried to contain her boredom the best she could. "Go on..."
Mr. Cake decided to spill his heart out, "Our mares, they have suddenly lost interest in us and are smitten with Rainbow Dash."
Discord flinched at the mention of that name. Those stallions had just triggered an active volcano of insanity and it was about to erupt.
Princess Celestia lost her calm composure and flared up with anger and strife, "You make sure to let your mares' know that Rainbow Danger Awesome Amazing Dash is MINE!"
The stallions, besides Big Mac, shook with terror. Their hope for salvation was slowly sinking away, like a ship full of holes.
The loud yelling of a maniacal princess had gotten the attention of every pony in Ponyville. They all gathered to locate the source of the very loud and powerful voice. When they all arrived they couldn't believe their eyes.
"Princess Celestia?" Twilight asked in shock of seeing her former teacher in such a state.
Princess Celestia ignored Twilight and searched around for Rainbow Dash. "Rainbow Dash, Where are you?"
Rainbow Dash did the stupidest thing ever and announced her presence. "Hey, Princess C, what's got your tail in a tangle?"
Princess Celestia, and all the other mares there, had focused their attention to Rainbow Dash at that point. "There you are my love. I have come to take you with me to Canterlot. We shall-"
Rainbow Dash blinked thrice before her mind was able to compute the words coming out of Celestia's mouth. "Whoa...Did you just say 'my love'?"
Celestia giggled, "Yes I did. I love you, Rainbow Dash, and it's high time we got married and made our love official."
Rainbow Dash was no genius when it came to math but she knew that one plus zero didn't equal two. "Okay...Let's stop prete-"
Discord rushed to Rainbow's side and whispered in her ear. "If you reject her she will kill me, just do as the crazy princess says or ponies will get hurt."
Rainbow Dash slapped herself to see if she was having another nightmare. When the stinging pain didn't make her appear on her bed it was startling.
Rarity chuckled, "Princess Celestia, with all due respect, I don't remember Rainbow Dash ever being yours. If she belongs to anypony it's obviously going to be me. She has saved my life and held me with her delicate and strong hooves."
Twilight narrowed her eyes, "Actually, if Rainbow Dash loves anypony here it's gotta be me. She and I are reading buddies and compatible, so it only makes sense."
Applejack stomped her hooves in anger, "Now wait a cotton pickin' minute. Me and Rainbow Dash were closer to each other before all ya ever knew her."
Fluttershy laughed derisively, "Well, to be blunt, I knew Rainbow Dash before all of you did. I also have had more intimacy with her...I'm just saying."
Pinkie Pie looked at all the crazy bitches and had a mind to blast them with a party cannon. "You guys...Rainbow Dash is sweet like candy and I love candy. I'm also a fun pony to hang around with and Rainbow Dash loves fun...Face it you guys, I am perfect for Rainbow Dash."
Discord saw five dead ponies standing. They had all just willingly committed suicide by saying those words. He could save them but the entertainment value of a rumble is just too promising.
Princess Celestia lit her horn and spoke in the Royal Canterlot Tone. "Hear me now, my little ponies, I'm Rainbow Dash's soul mate and anypony who tries getting in my path will be eliminated."
Rainbow Dash had enough of this nonsense. "QUIET! All of you just stop...Don't I get a say in all this?"
All of the mares had gotten silent and waited for their heart's desire to speak with her fantastic voice.
Rainbow Dash could only hear the munching of Discord's popcorn that he suddenly pulled out from...Somewhere. "Look, I don't know if this is some stupid prank or if you have all lost your mind's but I am nopony's property."
Princess Celestia flew close to Rainbow Dash and gently rubbed her face with a hoof. "I assure you, my desires aren't false. I truly love you Rainbow Dash and I want you as my bride."
Rainbow Dash blushed at the soft touch and words. She was being proposed to and in front of so many ponies that it was hard to turn down the offer. "This is all so sudden. I don't know what to say."
Fluttershy became Boldshy for a second and shouted. "Say no!"
Princess Celestia's anger had risen to a point beyond calming. "You will marry me! If you don't, I shall banish you from Equestria and that little animal loving fanpony will be kept in a cage as well."
Shit just hit the fan and Rainbow Dash was in a bind.
While things in Ponyville had become chaotic, the Crystal Empire was going through some changes. Princess Cadence was organizing the Rainbowfication of her kingdom. "Make sure that the statue looks exactly like her. every curve...mmm'"
Shining Armor felt like a cuckold and wasn't pleased with all the new changes. "Why are we doing this again?"
Princess Cadence ignored her husband, who she was regretting marrying since she wasn't available for Rainbow Dash, and continued staring at the new symbol of the empire. She had convinced the mares of the crystal empire easily to remove the Crystal Heart and put in the Crystal Dash. "Perfect...Absolutely perfect."
All the stallions didn't get what was going on but all the mares were excited with the new changes. They had a Rainbow Dash merchandise store being built that had Rainbow Dash socks, mugs, pillows, blankets and etc. Things were so lively and positive, especially since Princess Cadence was going to personally invite Rainbow Dash over and convince her to stay there. Her people needed the D and she wanted it badly too.
Rainbow Dash was still figuring out how to reply to Princess Crazy Flank who was formerly known as Celestia. "Alright I have made my decision..."
All the mares were anticipating whether their beloved Dash was going to marry the stuck up waifu thief. Princess Celestia was eager to get on with her wedding especially since the wedding night was going to be filled with fun and more fun.
"I have decided that I will marry Princess Celestia...If I can't find a more suitable bride for myself."
Princess Celestia was about to smile until she heard the last part. "Say what?!"
Rainbow Dash took a minute to compose her thoughts. "Well you see, it's just that I think marrying you without knowing that you're truly the pony for me is kinda wrong. You seem so sure we are meant to be, so why not put that to the test. Let me have one week starting tomorrow to find the perfect mare for me. If I can't pick one out of the many that desire me than I am all yours and will willingly be your wife."
Princess Celestia chuckled, "You think you can find somepony better than me in this dump? Fine! You have one week to find yourself a bride or you shall be mine. Since you decided to make the wedding wait when it's our time to get married your little friends will be the ones organizing it."
Rainbow Dash had bought herself a week to figure out just how she was going to get out of this mess. "Fair is fair. Now if you will excuse me I think I need some dinner."
Princess Celestia was about to offer her some dinner when all of a sudden a black flying alicorn had swooped in and kidnapped Rainbow Dash before anyone could react.
Luna had appeared from seemingly nowhere and grabbed Rainbow Dash. Before teleporting away with her prize she tossed a note at Celestia.
Princess Luna had just successfully rescued Rainbow Dash from the clutches of her sister. "Fear not Rainbow Dash I have saved you from an accursed fate."
Rainbow Dash was hoping that Luna wasn't like the rest of the mares that were after her. "So you rescued me by kidnapping me?"
Luna stopped her flight and descended atop a nearby building. "Kidnap I merely got you away from those crazy mares."
Rainbow Dash felt a sliver of relief. "So you're not after me like they are?"
Luna chuckled, "Why Rainbow Dash, of course I am not. I am a princess after all and you are merely an athletic and brash young mare."
Rainbow Dash felt so good being thought of as beneath someone just now. She was glad that there was one sane mare in the lot. She was glad until Luna had revealed that she was just being a tsundere.
Luna suddenly kissed Rainbow Dash and held her close during the kiss. "Oh, Rainbow Dash, I need you so badly! Please take me, right here right now!"
Rainbow Dash had enjoyed the albeit surprise kiss. She had to stop Luna though before she actually gave into temptation. Rainbow Dash had always wanted to have sex in a public setting but she also knew that Luna was a very loud pony. "As fun as that sounds I don't think we should continue this."
Luna pouted and tears began spilling from her eyes. "Why not? Is it because I'm black?"
Rainbow Dash face palmed herself, "I don't even know how to respond to that."
Luna felt dejected until a soft hoof gently caressed her cheek. "What is this? You show me gentleness after breaking my heart?"
Rainbow Dash kissed Luna's cheek. "Princess, I never rejected you, I just can't treat you like a call mare. You're a friend and I value our friendship. It is also a fact that, if we have sex, it won't secure your chances of being picked as my bride."
Luna blinked and took a step back, "A bride? What do you mean, Rainbow Dash?"
Rainbow Dash opened a can of worms during her attempt at being sensitive. "Well you see, Celestia has given me a week to find my perfect bride and if I can't find one then I have to marry her. So I just thought you knew and yeah...If we have sex tonight I don't want you thinking it's a sealed deal. I also don't want a one night stand in which we regret it later."
Luna suddenly became very interested in commitment. "I can be a most excellent bride...We can rule the night together!"
Rainbow Dash had finally realized that there was no escaping the mares. She had a long week ahead of her and if tonight was any indication of what was to come she was going to be screwed, in more ways than one.
Rainbow Dash had convinced Luna to let her go for the moment. She had to promise to at least give Luna a fair shot of being picked as a bride. Rainbow Dash agreed, just to get away.
She flew back to Ponyville slowly in hopes that when she arrived all the ponies would be tired and asleep. When she arrived she noticed the silent and calm night had been just the ticket to her sanity. She was ready to sleep this day off and hope that tomorrow everything would return to normal.
She tried looking for her house and noticed it wasn't there. She knew that it could sometimes move due to it being a cloud but she suspected it wouldn't have gone too far. She kept flying across the town looking for her cloud home when she noticed something below her flight altitude.
"Are you bucking kidding me?" Rainbow Dash asked when she saw her house on the ground level and with some lights on. Not only was her house moved but the ponies who were trying to steal it had the audacity to be in there still.
Inside Rainbow Dash's house were five scrumptious looking mares waiting for their housemate to return. It was getting late and they hoped that Luna wasn’t keeping her for too long.
Just as the timid one of the group got worried the door got kicked in and in came an angry Rainbow Dash.
"Alright you... Fluttershy? Twilight?....Pinkie?" Rainbow Dash asked noticing her friends inside her house.
Twilight giggled at Rainbow Dash's look of confusion, "Hey there, Dashie, we have been waiting for you and missed you."
Rainbow Dash looked around and sure enough all her friends were there and they were ogling her like a piece of meat. "Alright girls this joke is over. I don't know what lesson I'm supposed to learn from this but it's gone too far."
Applejack got close to Rainbow Dash and whispered huskily in her ear, "This ain't no joke, I got feelin's for ya, RD."
Rainbow Dash felt shivers down her spine in a good way. She realized that this joke wasn't a joke at all. It was insanity and she had to endure it. "So then if you all have feelings for me why are you all in my house at once?"
Twilight perked up and grinned, "Because I had come up with a brilliant idea and they agreed it was the best plan given the situation."
Rainbow Dash was almost afraid to ask but she had to, "What idea?"
Fluttershy decided to answer since Twilight was good with ideas but not words, "She decided; it would be best for us all, if we lived with you until you decided who you wanted to be with. If you live with us you can get to know us not just during our finest moments. It also is saves you time, since Twilight figured out that we were the most compatible ponies for you."
Pinkie Pie jumped on Rainbow Dash and pinned her, "So until you make up your mind Dashie, we’re your marem."
Rainbow Dash lightly pushed Pinkie off and backed up, "What's a marem?"
Rarity could see how afraid Rainbow Dash was and tried to soothe her, "Darling, relax, it just means we are yours to do with, as you wish, until you finally pick one of us."
Rainbow Dash nuzzled Pinkie in apology for her harsh reaction and sighed, "Alright then so all of you are all into me and I have to live with all of you until I can pick one of you?"
Twilight gave a sheepish smile, "That's the basic idea of it. If this is a problem for you we can all leave. I just think this idea is better than having a battle royale for your affections."
Rainbow Dash sighed, "Alright... I will agree to all this as long as the fighting stops. I love you girls and I would hate to see you all fighting over me. So how does showering and sleeping arrangements work?"
Rarity giggled and leaned into Rainbow Dash's ear and whispered seductively, "We have that all taken care of, darling."
Rainbow Dash felt hot and bothered by all the mares being so sensual with her, "What does that mean?"
Fluttershy giggled, "Oh Dashie, it just means we made some modifications to your bathroom and bedroom to accommodate us all. Now we can all take a bath with you and we can even sleep with you without fighting for who gets to sleep on the bed. It will be like one big sleepover. I'm so excited!"
Rainbow Dash felt like her life was not hers anymore. It was as if life had taken control and made her life one cosmic joke. She was going to freak out until she realized something that wasn't registering in her mind before. She had all these hot mares in her house wanting her more than anything in the world. It could be fun entertaining the idea of picking one of them... It was worth the trouble she would go through if she had the hottest mares, next to the princesses, in her house for a week.
"Alright, if this plan is the best one, I'm down for it. Let's make this week the best week of our lives and remember no fighting..."
Celestia had waited up for Luna's return and Discord was at her side. When it got late Celestia got angry and was going to make sure Luna knew that Rainbow Dash was off limits. Celestia had been envisioning things that made her not too happy.
"She better arrive soon or el-"
She stopped speaking when she noticed her sister had made her appearance.
"Hello, my dear sister Luna, I see you finally returned and alone as well."
Luna looked to Celestia and flared her wings, "Don't test me, sister, I'm not in the mood."
Celestia giggled, "I see, so you too have felt the force of Rainbow Dash's awesome and now want her as much as I do.”
Luna made a pouty face and nodded.
“ I say we work together then to make sure she stays here in Canterlot. I think I could share my prize with my dearest sister," Celestia said while rubbing her hooves together.
Luna smirked at that idea, "So then how shall we ensure that Rainbow Dash becomes ours?"
Discord was game for some scheming and joined in the conversation, "Whatever it is, I want in. I don't care who Rainbow Dash ends up with but I do love devious plans."
Celestia chuckled, "Discord, I think you aren't going to be useful in the matters of the heart. Still if you want to be useful you can monitor the competition and let me know if any of them are making any power moves. Don't let them know you're watching and don't spy on Rainbow Dash. If she is alone refrain from gazing at her even for a second. She isn't yours and belongs to us."
Discord sighed, "I get it, I get it... I’m just there to observe not interact. Don't worry I don't like Rainbow Dash and won't be competition."
Celestia narrowed her eyes, "Good... I would hate to be double crossed by you."
Luna got close to her sister and nuzzled her to calm her down, "Things will be okay, Tia, we are the most attractive mares in all Equestria not to mention all powerful."
Celestia smiled and softened, "That is true, my dear sister, we are the most likely to be picked since we are the two most loved ponies in all Equestria. Rainbow Dash will choose us."
Rainbow Dash was laying in bed with five mares laying comfortably around her. They all had some contact with Rainbow Dash and were snuggled up. Rainbow Dash didn't know if she could get used to all this attention and affection but she was going to enjoy it while it lasted.
"Psst, Rarity, are you awake?"
Rarity sleepily answered, "Darling, what is it?"
"You seemed to like stallions more than anything in the world, why all of the sudden are you into me?"
Rarity blushed, "Rainbow Dash, it's clear you don't understand how a mare’s heart works. You have always been there for me and not to mention that you saved my life three times before. The first time you did I had been even more fond of you than I ever have been. Even if I liked stallions that never meant I didn't like mares. I just always saw myself with a prince or somepony dashing. I guess now I will be with somepony dashing."
Rainbow Dash involuntarily smiled, "Yeah I guess I'm dashing alright... So then you said you had a present for me. When will I get it?"
Rarity giggled quietly, "Don't worry, darling, it will be worth waiting for it. I bet you will choose me right away once I give you it."
"What about Spike?" Rainbow Dash asked remembering that the little dude had been always sticking by Rarity.
Rarity frowned, "I haven't seen poor Spikey Wikey all day, I wonder if he is alright. Oh you mean... Well darling let's be serious, I was never going to become a foal diddler. Spike is way too young for me and as sweet as his gestures are I can't be bothered. I'm sure in his heart he knows that."
Rainbow Dash put a hoof to Rarity's face and gently rubbed it, "About that day when I rescued you. I heard what you said and did before you arrived to Cloudsdale. I appreciate that...I never would have made that Sonic Rainboom happened anyways had you not been in danger. What I'm trying to say is... Thank you."
Rarity blushed, "You're welcome... Let's get some sleep, darling, I need my beauty rest."
Rainbow Dash chuckled, "Yeah," and silently whispered to herself, "Even though you're already beautiful." With that thought she went to sleep and hoped that wherever Spike was he was having a great night as well.
Spike was out in the cold and darkness of the night. He had made a small campfire and was huddling near it. He could hear the wild animals that were active at night and hoped he wasn't on the menu.
"No matter what happens I must get to the Crystal Empire. Rarity and all of Equestria is counting on me getting there."
He looked up at the night sky and was feeling gloomy. He had never been out this long on his own and for the first time since the dragon migration was he felt alone. This time there was no ponies secretly guiding him along. Before he decided to stop looking into the sky, he saw Gilda and a flock of griffins flying overhead.
"Gilda...What the heck is going on?"
Gilda and her crew were too high up to hear Spike and continued flying on.
"Gilda!" Spike yelled loudly.
Gilda turned her head and noticed the creature trying to get her attention.
"Hold up, girls, I think this thing wants to speak to me," she said to her crew.
Gilda flew down and angrily approached the baby dragon.
"What do you want pipsqueak?"
Spike ignored the insult and replied, "I just wanted to know what you griffins were up to?"
Gilda chuckled at Spike and put a claw to his throat, "We're going to get what's ours; if you or your little pony friends try stopping us, it will be lights out."
Spike gulped, "What exactly is it that belongs to you?"
Gilda pulled Spike close and whispered menacingly into his ears, "Rainbow Dash..."
The Wonderbolt's had always been an elite group of stunt ponies that were part military on the side. This night however there seemed to be an argument going on about the mares of the group wanting to extend an invitation to Rainbow Dash seemingly out of nowhere. The stallions of the group, especially Soarin, had felt that she still needed to go through the proper channels.
Spitfire had been adamant recently about inviting Rainbow Dash into the fold, "Look, Soarin, she may not have gone through what we had to but I feel she has sufficient talent and extraordinary charisma."
Soarin wasn't sure why all of a sudden Rainbow Dash was worthy when Spitfire just days before felt she wasn't, "I still think it's too soon. She is young and attached to her friends. We all know how it's like after separating from our families and friends for our first tour."
Spitfire chuckled, "She doesn't need them when she has me. I will make sure she forgets her troubles, no matter what it takes."
Soarin's eyes went wide in shock, "Spitfire what's gotten into you?"
Spitfire replied with haste, "It's not what's gotten into me, it's what I want in me... I want the D..."
Shining Armor was having trouble sleeping and turned over to speak to his wife. When he saw the other side of the bed empty, he decided to search for her.
He looked high and low for her all over the castle until he heard her whispering near the Crystal Dash. When he arrived on scene his life was forever changed.
His wife was speaking softly to the replacement for the Crystal Heart as if it was her lover. She had her winged wrapped around it and was caressing it softly.
He wanted to say something but found himself too stunned for words. He just knew that whatever was causing this change in behavior was ruining his marriage.
He vowed that he was going to put an end to whatever was causing all mares to want Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash awoke in the morning being covered in limbs from various mares. She had forgotten that her house was inhabited by her "marem" and she was sleeping right in the center of a mare fiesta.
She usually woke up very early to get her early morning weather duties out of the way before she either napped or hung out with the group of now sleeping ponies. This morning however she was not able to get out of bed unless she wanted to disturb the web of mares that was ensnaring her.
After two minutes of listening to mumbles and light snoring she decided her hell would end and moved abruptly which in turn did the very thing she was afraid would happen.
Each mare woke up in various degrees of speed and elegance. Rarity being the most elegant of them had an attractive morning yawn that made Rainbow Dash want to wake her again.
Fluttershy's yawn was too cute for Rainbow Dash to process and that made her morning that much more awkward.
Applejack woke up with a snort and a "huh" killing the mood for Rainbow Dash entirely....
Rainbow Dash was in the middle of a marem shower, as Pinkie called it, and she didn't know how to feel. It sounded like a fantasy scenario but in reality it was really awkward. It wasn't the copious amount of touching she had to endure that bothered her it was the minor complaints made during said molestation.
The shampoo was too fancy for Applejack's taste and she and Rarity got into an argument about it.
Twilight and Fluttershy were arguing over who should tend to Rainbow Dash's wings, in which they both made solid points.
Then there was Pinkie Pie. She was just staring at Rainbow Dash the whole time she was cleaning herself. Pinkie Pie's eyes never left Rainbow Dash's body and it made Rainbow Dash shiver.
Rainbow Dash was ready to eat something small before she began making the weather set to whatever the schedule called for. She decided to look at the schedule and noticed it had a rainy symbol which meant there was going to be a rainy day.
She felt nervous about a rainy day for some reason. She couldn't put her hoof on it but something about today felt like it was going to be a nightmare.
She decided to ignore the negative thoughts swirling in her head and just enjoy whatever Fluttershy was going to make for the group to eat. It was Fluttershy's day to make breakfast according to Twilight's itinerary for the week's events.
The early morning darkness was only more ominous by the lack of noise and life around Ponyville. Rainbow Dash hadn't notice how quiet it got because usually she was drowned out by the sound of how awesome she was.
This morning it felt like she had entered the ... "Heh, Twilight Zone, sounds kinky,"
Meanwhile, just outside of Ponyville, a flock of griffins had huddled up and relayed the plan for operation Waifu Snatch. Gilda was leading the charge and knew Ponyville’s layout and how annoying certain inhabitants can be.
"Alright we clear now?"
The other griffins nodded and were getting excited about the prospect of having Rainbow Dash in their flock.
Gilda didn't like the idea of sharing the D, but she knew that alone she couldn't overpower Rainbow Dash and kidnap her. She didn't know what kind of resistance she would face and didn't care in the slightest. All she knew was that her and Rainbow Dash were destined to be together.
Meanwhile, on the other side of Ponyville, The female members of the Wonderbolts were preparing for their own plan to win Rainbow Dash over.
Spitfire had the bait needed to lure Rainbow Dash in, afterall it was Rainbow Dash's dream to become a member. She had to get a majority vote on this situation and so she allied herself with the other mares from the squad and ignored Soarin’s disapproval..
"Alright girls, We come to Ponyville with one goal in mind, to get the D and we won't fail."
While all this was going on there was a secret group of mares who were unhappy with Twilight's little plan. Lead by a pissed off Mrs. Cake the Alliance of Stolen Waifu was ready for their own attempt to secure the D.
Mrs. Cake was formerly an ally of Pinkie Pie until she turned on her when Twilight came up with her little gimmick. She wasn't going to allow that prissy purple princess and pink plotting pony to take her D away.
She had many mares with her and they each wanted the D badly.
The stallions had been abandoned by their former leader, Spike, and were not plotting anything except for Big Mac.
Big Mac could feel the shifting winds and knew a shit storm was brewing and he needed to keep his remaining family safe. He boarded up the windows and locked the doors to ensure that his home wouldn't be accessible in the coming apocalypse.
He knew he should warn the other stallions but with a foal and elder pony needing him more, it was all stallions for themselves.
During this moment in time Discord had been keeping an eye on things... Literally. He had kept his body in Canterlot while his eyes were hovering Ponyville watching Rainbow Dash. It was like a perverted voyeur experience that was also fun because of the torment he brought on the entities of day and night.
He gave them all the details of Rainbow Dash having a shower with the group of ponies that Celestia lovingly referred to as "Sluts."
While his eye was maintaining visuals for the princesses his boredom escalated until he sensed something ominous about the day. He was due for some reward for spying on the boring pony who got all the mares in a frenzy.
Spike was walking along the tracks to avoid the wilderness and keep clear of possible angry avian fiends. He had been travelling and his body was worn out from the distance he had managed to travel. As he trudged along he thought he heard the faint whisper of a roaring train speeding through.
He looked ahead and saw what appeared to be a train from the Crystal Empire being powered by magic alone. It had an aura around it was blazing through at an insane speed.
The train was about to collide with him but it stopped dead in it's tracks. He almost urinated himself but luckily he kept his composure and sure enough the pony guiding the train came out and said two things to him.
Rainbow Dash was doing her routine weather patrol duties and making sure the weather was altered precisely as needed for the day. She usually got up early to work alone since she hated having to work in a group, since other pegasi couldn't keep up with her. She was able to make a sky full of clouds become empty in ten seconds flat and no other pony could measure up.
She had enjoyed her job, it wasn't the pay or glory that made it exciting for her though, it was just the freedom and open air that allowed her to be at peace. Well that was normally the case but she began noticing some figures ominously getting closer to her.
She knew that she had spawned an obsessive fanbase seemingly overnight but these shadows didn't seem equine in the slightest. She recognized the shape after it got even closer and realized that it was a pack of griffins.
"What are griffins doing in Ponyville?"
She didn't want to get in a battle where she was outnumbered and figured no griffin would be insane enough to attack her while surrounded with her friends.
Applejack had strength and Twilight had powerful magic. Combined those attributes with Rainbow Dash's extreme speed and no pony or creature could defeat them. She also remembered that Pinkie Pie had her powers of randomness which sometimes worked in their favor.
She didn't particularly like getting Rarity or Fluttershy involved in war or combat since they were both meek. Still she had no option as she noticed another set of flying shapes heading in her direction while maintaining a distance as well.
"Great now what?" she grumbled while getting to the safety of her home.
It was still really early in the morning so the mares that inhabited Rainbow Dash's domain were still inside doing various tasks to get ready for the day.
Rarity was making sure she looked fabulous, as always, to keep her professional image at work.
Applejack was begrudgingly getting ready to get her apple bucking on. She knew that the farm still needed to be maintained for the betterment of Ponyville.
Twilight was making a schedule and list because it's just what she does.
Pinkie Pie was thinking of how to get her present from the bakery to the house since it was made with Mrs. Cake's help and she didn't have a chance to talk with Mrs. Cake after Twilight's plan came together.
Fluttershy was psyching herself up to face her animals and teach them some independence. She was going to miss being surrounded by her amazing animal friends but her life needed a change and fast.
Though they all stopped what they were doing once they heard the sound of the front door open and immediately close with a slam.
They all rushed to see who would dare invade the home they shared. The culprit turned out to be none other than Rainbow Dash herself.
"Dashie" they all shouted in unison which made Rainbow Dash jump.
Rainbow Dash was breathing heavily and felt nervous about what lied in waiting.
Applejack raised an eyebrow at Rainbow Dash, "Golly, what's gotten ya so worked up, Sugar Cube."
Rainbow Dash didn't need to speak as they all began hearing the noise of imminent trouble approaching.
Outside of Rainbow's house was the griffins and the mares of the wonderbolts. They both had arrived at the same time and were staring each other down.
The situation got worse when the mares from Ponyville showed up and turned the already awkward staring contest into a three way tie.
None of the mares or griffins said a word but much was communicated through their body language. The griffins glared and unfurled their wings in which was returned by the pegasi with their wings flaring. The unicorns were lighting up their horns and the earth ponies were stamping their hooves on the ground.
The entire scenario seemed animalistic and civility was lost amongst the fray.
Discord's eyes were keeping track of this moment and he knew that soon the war for Rainbow Dash was going to begin.
Discord relays to the princesses the fiasco at hand.
Celestia in response decides to wake Luna up and alert her of the trouble brewing in Ponyville. When Luna was up she could see the look on her sister's eyes.
"We must save our bride to be," Celestia stated in distress.
Luna became energized even though she just recently was sleeping only minutes prior.
The train was still zooming at an incredible pace and was near Ponyville. The integrity of the train's structure had been coming apart and the entirety of the train was threatening to shatter due to the extreme pressure and wear being caused by moving at the speed it was. With the pony pushing the train to it's limits it would surely be in a state of disrepair by the time it was done moving.
Spike was still unsure as to why the pony guiding the train came alone. He was hoping to get to the Crystal Empire to find the pony who could stop all this and hopefully the pony who picked him up could be the one.
"So what's the plan when we arrive in Ponyville?" Spike asked curiously.
The pony replied "I'm going to fix the world and return it to normal. No matter what the cost I will not allow the chaos to continue especially when it's costing all the stallions the affection they deserve."
Spike had a smile forming on his face. "Finally, everything will go back to normal... so how do you intend on fixing things?"
The pony gave spike a menacing look, "By doing what needs to be done!"
Spike's smile slowly disappeared and he began to worry about the safety of Rainbow Dash.
Twilight looked out the window and got a gist of what was going on. She had formulated a plan to keep Rainbow Dash away from those waifu stealing whores.
"Alright shall I go over the plan again or is everypony ready?"
"Ready!" was replied in various tones by the ponies who were in the home.
Twilight smiled and nodded, "Alright girls, let's do this!"
Princess Cadence was moving around on her bed when she noticed it was empty. She rubbed her eyes and looked around. When she found no trace of her husband she began calling for him.
"Shining... Shining... Shining Armor!" she yelled out with no response.
She walked across the halls of her castle in search for him but had no luck in finding him. She decided to check on her favorite thing in the world since the madness began.
When she went to the crystal statue of Rainbow Dash she was shocked to find the head was missing "Who could have done such a thing?"
It wasn't a minute before it suddenly began piecing itself together and she gasped at the realization. "Shining... "
She teleported to the train station and when she saw the train not where it was she became immensely worried. "I must save Rainbow Dash."
With that said she summoned all her magic and was ready to stop her husband before something tragic happened. Just before she teleported in a rush a letter appeared via magic. The letter had caught her attention and her sudden surge of magic was gone.
She looked at the letter and surely the content of the letter changed her mood entirely and made a wicked smile appear on her face. "Well, well it seems Rainbow Dash shall be joining me here sooner than expected. I guess it's time I get this place ready for the arrival of my dear Dashie!"
