Ponies tremble beneath her, both for her wrath and necessity, her magic all that is keeping the tidally locked world alive. With one side facing away from her sister's hated sun, and the other obscured in a veil of shadow blocking almost all light, by her grace alone does enough warmth peek through that Equus and its peoples might yet live.

It is a reign of terror. Of fear. Absolute and unmoved.

Until she met the foal. Then Princess Luna began to find something she had been missing for far too long...

In this universe, Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle were best buddies since they were fillies (though Sunset was older than Twilight), bonding over their shared obsession with studying. But all that changed when Twilight had to do the entrance exam, which ended as well as one expected it to. But rather than be accepted this time, she was rejected...but not for long. Meanwhile, Sunset has the unenviable task of looking over the preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration and "make some friends".

After Celestia banished Nightmare Moon to the moon, the Elements put her daughter into a coma. She wakes up centuries later with little recollection to what happened. Everything goes down in the Summer Sun Celebration but will she be able to stop her mother’s madness?

Their universe has come to an end, two goddesses sacrifice what is left to make sure it doesn't happen again. But fate lets them start over somewhere else...

Twilight Sparkle was dying because of the magic flare she emitted during her entrance exam to Princess Celestia's school, when she was about to destroy herself along with everypony on the school grounds a deity offered the little filly a deal that would change not just her life but the world itself.
