Ganondorf, King of Thieves, Lord of Darkness, Master of Evil and Wielder of the Triforce of Power, had long since grown thoroughly and completely bored with the path the gods had decreed for his destiny.

Time after time it was always the same, try and unite the Triforce, plunge the world into darkness for a time, search out and then kidnap Princess Zelda, watch his minions be defeated one after another and then finally battle Link for supremacy. Rinse and repeat.

All the while knowing that regardless of winning or losing, that no matter what he did or didn’t do, that in the end everything would end up repeating itself in another time and place afterwards, again, and again and again, in an utterly pointless never ending cycle.

Having decided that enough was finally enough, and refusing to continue to be a simple pawn at the hands of the gods, he vowed he would find a way to escape from his cumbersome destiny, a way to start anew far beyond the meddling grasp of the gods, a way to reach a realm upon which he could be the master of his own fate.

And after years of careful planning he had finally succeeded.

Sure, the fact he had to drag the know-it-all Princess and the green obsessed Hero along for the ride for his plan to work was a minor inconvenience, but he knew that sometimes sacrifices had to be made. And the fact that this new realm apparently decided to turn him and his two unwilling companions into miniature pastel colored ponies upon arrival also wasn’t exactly part of the plan, but he could cope.

After all, that was a negligible price to pay in achieving his deepest wish: freedom.

In this story Ganondorf, having grown sick of following through the motions his destiny placed before him as the eternal bad guy to be defeated time after time, seeks out to escape from his fate by breaking through the void between dimensions and running away from Hyrule to another realm entirely, Equestria, all the while dragging both Link and Zelda along for the ride.

Arriving long before the founding of the country, back before the events of Heart’s Warming Eve and at the highest point of the conflict between the Three Tribes, he and his two new companions will have to deal with a whole new world and it’s wonders and dangers. All the while this new magical world will have to learn to deal with its three new strange inhabitants in kind.

Just a warning: This is NOT a Displaced fic. All three main characters are the actual characters from the Zelda series that have been taken to Equestria due to Ganondorf’s master plan, and not humans turned into them.

The life of a villain can have its highs and lows. You have to build it up, mold yourself based on what you want to be. The bar for being the villain isn't that high. Hell, all you have to do is preform some evil deed.

An evil overlord on the other hand, that takes things like planning and common sense. You can't just expect to get what you want by throwing magic bombs or having some dastardly plot that has so many holes in it that it will inevitably fail when some heroic group decides to put you under.

It's even harder when you have magic powered deities who will stand in your way, like what I have right now. So no, it's not easy. Sorry buddy, domination of anything takes time.

Back to me though.

The multiverse is filled with countless possibilities. I am now a member of this mess of worlds and universes. Now in a land unknown to those who haven't watch a kid's show, within a body foreign to me, I must face those who are considered gods.

My old identity matters little and I only have one purpose now. And unlike those colleagues of mine, very kind of me to consider my fellow villains colleagues, I have a plan to outdo those who would stand in my way.

So join me on my little quest and watch as an evil overlord builds his way to the top. After all, we all know you came to see the villain, not some ridiculous heroic youth embarking to face the forces of evil.

After discovering that Cadence is not who she appears to be, Twilight is sent to another world entirely by the disguised Changeling Queen to avoid her plan being disrupted.
When Twilight lands, she discovers that not only have Spike, Owlowiscious and Peewee followed her, but that they've arrived in a world where the main sentient species is human.
There's still a place where they teach magic, though.
Crossover with Harry Potter. Twilight will be effectively taking the role of Hermione.

Having returned to the Dursleys after a highly eventful first year at Hogwarts, Harry and the alicorns had been looking forward to unwinding. As it turned out, all their hopes were for nought. Between summer shenanigans, a crazy house elf, and learning Potter family history, they've got a full summer ahead of themselves. And when they get back to Hogwarts, they'll have to deal with giant snakes, idiotic teachers, and a gathering darkness. With things going off the rails, they've got a long year ahead of them.

And if they survive that, they still got to deal with the strange power surges and dreams that both Luna and Nim have been having since soon after the Summer Solstice...

This fic takes place after season 6 and some time after Past Sins, drawing upon some of the characters established by the excellent Pen Stroke.
Please note this short story is not a sequel, but a spin-off featuring appearances by some of these characters.

The Map has called Princess Twilight, her friends, and even the Princesses themselves to adventure far outside the borders of their home to a strange new country called Pantheon. Here they will meet new friends as well as new dangers. There will be many mysteries to solve, but perhaps the most pressing one: “Why are there so many Alicorns here?”

From the day of her birth, an unknown guardian has watch over Twilight Sparkle. He has secretly protected her, assisted her, and been there for almost every significant event in her life, watching from the shadows as she grew into the wonderful and loved Princess of Friendship.

And yet, trouble is brewing, and with Twilight's life is now in danger, her unknown guardian must come out of the shadows and do all that he can to protect her, even if it breaks both their hearts in the process.

But just who is this pony? Why does he have such an interest in the Princess of Friendship? Why does he seek to protect her even at the cost of her happiness and his own?

And what is the force that threatens the young mare's life?

Merlin, a powerful teen-aged sorcerer, has torn the veil between his world and Equestria, strangely, right after Twilight was studying up on mythology on humans- particularly because some were said to possess immense magical power. When she meets Merlin, dressed in robes the same color as her mane, and having a necklace exactly the same as her cutie mark, not only does it start an irreplaceable relationship, but fiery secrets are revealed about Equestria's past.

AUTHORS' NOTE:
All right, I should make one thing clear before anyone starts reading this story, yes this does have some "Harry-potter"-esque themes and elements to it. I'm trying to write a story that while having some 'mystic' or 'fantastical' elements to it, will be focused more on storyline.

Also, I started this story when I just became an MLP fan. I've updated some of the chapters that had mistakes in them.

Harry Potter was a lonely boy who one day wished for a friend. Luna, trapped on the moon, wished for the same. And so their wishes are granted. How will the two deal with each other? And what about Nightmare Moon? Needless to say, their lives are going to change in both expected and unexpected ways...
