An outcast again thanks to Anon-A-Miss Sunset only wants the fighting to stop and her friends back, she does not care how. When her final plea of innocence to her friends fails she does one last desperate thing to get them back, confesses to being Anon-A-Miss. Now that she has her friends back things are looking up, even if she is hated again all that matters to Sunset is that life can finally go back to normal. Except it might never be.

A/N: This story context is slightly inspired by the fanfiction Confession by cerealkiller78 in that Sunset confesses to being Anon-A-Miss, the first chapter will have some similarities in it but that stops in the second chapter.
Suicide/Self Harm: Not much of it appearing in the story but it will be alluded to and mentioned.
Violence: Not the bloody full out fight violence, more of the bulling to small scuffle kind of violence.

(Note: This story is on temporary hiatus till further notice, It's not canceled, it will come back eventually. The story just got ahead of me, too much changed from the original plot and I still have not fully thought out the new ending. Some chapters might get some minor edits since some were still connected to the old ending and don't work anymore. This note will be deleted when the story is ready to continue.

Sunset Shimmer has lost everything. All her so-called friends have turned their backs on her thanks to the machinations of Anon-A-Miss, and she's abandoned and alone. About to step out into a cold winter afternoon, she hears a voice she didn't expect calling her back...

Written because of my own temper and sense of righteousness has fouled my thoughts before. Written because we can see the truth of things even through our anger. And written because I'd like to believe that individuals can think beyond the baying of the mob.

Rated T for swearing, discussions of violence, and some other PG-13 scenes.

Principal Celestia has accidentally fallen through the mirror into Equestria, and it may be a bit before she can go home. Until then, she has to learn to cope with a strange world, in a strange body.

At the same time, Twilight has to figure out how she can help her new guest while keeping Equestria from freaking out over the presence of a second Celestia, and Sunset Shimmer has to figure out how she is going to make amends with those she had left behind in Equestria, while keeping an eye on her Principal.

Disclaimer: Since I wrote this description ages ago before I even knew the plot, the story is mostly pure comedy in the beginning, with eventual Sunlight and Chryslestia shipping!

A retelling of Sunset Shimmer's redemption, starting from the night of the Fall Formal and going through the events immediately following the Friendship Games.

Disclaimer: I own none of this source material. MLP: FIM and Equestria Girls belong to Hasbro, and I will not profit from this fanfic financially in any way.

Sex tag is only for brief discussions of sexuality and issues of modesty. There is no actual sexual content.

Author's notes: I've been working on this story for over a year. I'll admit it contains a lot of elements that appear commonly in other Sunset stories -- this is just my take on it. I'll try to give credit where credit is due -- although nearly every idea in this story occurred to me independently, others have actually published stories using many of them first.

The thrust of the story is to take material written for ages say 10-13 (i.e. the EQG movies/shorts/specials) and age it up to make it more dramatic and meaningful. Probably my favorite thing to write was the conversations that must have taken place, both in the human world and in Equestria, but that aren't depicted in any movie or book.

Full Disclosure: Sunset's friends play their usual crucial roles in her redemption and growth, but this is a Momlestia/Lunauntia story too. And there is no shipping. Romance isn't Sunset's priority as she crawls out of the darkness of her former life. Yet.

I had to add the AU tag after Forgotten Friendship came out. Up until then, this story was fairly canon-compatible. Now, it diverges a bit.

Good-natured warning: Feels. Lots of feels.

A shove, pushing, thrown projectiles and hateful words. All seem to be having a field day with CHS. For the last week, this is all Sunset Shimmer has known. Ever since this Anon-a-miss had started her life had been hell. It had gotten to the point where some days she didn't even get through the day.

Sunset Shimmer is in her apartment, alone, because it’s for the best. That’s why it’s good that she didn’t go to that party. It’s good that no-one knows what she does to herself.

But it’s fine. She knows what she’s doing.

She knows that she deserves this.

Sunset Shimmer thought she burned too bright for the likes of the Princess of the Sun. When she ran away to the Mirror World, Sunset discovered the worst parts of humanity before starting her reign of terror at CHS. After Princess Twilight and her friends take her down with the Rainbow Wave, Sunset is forced to remember those years she locked away.

Vice-Principal Luna felt lost in her sister's shadow. The weight of a family secret and high school scandal live with her after more than a decade. Though she is in a better place, she sees her past in Sunset's present.

In the wake of the Fall formal, who better to help Sunset than someone who has seen rock bottom and lived?

This is my first fanfiction and draws from many amazing fanfics, but especially Full Circle by Sotharan! This one gets a lot darker and I might change to Mature about half way through (depending on how the story plays out and the reactions it receives). It will be a long fic because I can't write anything short. Will update weekly!

After seeking refuge in Equestria during the Anon-A-Miss fiasco, Sunset Shimmer is stranded in Equestria. Convinced that she's just not cut out for friendship, Sunset throws herself back into her studies. Unfortunately for her, all the magic around CHS has attracted the attention of a certain spectacled scientist. When her device accidentally pulls the mysterious energy from the statue in front of the school, she is shocked when an amber unicorn was pulled out with it. With the portal not working, the two must work together to gather the energy needed to send Sunset home from the only magical source left to tap: Sunset's former friends, all while dealing with the overbearing principal of Crystal Prep as the Friendship Games approach.

After reports of magical happenings, Daring Do comes to Canterlot in her A.K. Yearling persona. Having become estranged from her friends, Sunset Shimmer has plenty of time on her hands and is more than willing to spend it with her favorite author. The fact that it's been about a hundred moons since the last time she had a chance to geek out about magic is just a bonus.

The two talk about magic, life, the universe, and everything.

This is very low on my list of priorites, given how many other stories I have that are in need of an update, so don't start reading unless you're ok with infrequent and sporadic updates.

I made the cover art; it took an absurdly long time.

Daring Do never belonged anywhere, but she always knew what she was going to be when she grew up. Someday she'd be Daring Do, world famous archaeologist. This was easier dreamed than done given that all of her posessions fit in a backpack, she had no one on her side, and she preferred to live entirely off the grid.

After discovering hidden message that had been forgotten for centuries, she set off to, hopefully, find something she could use to get her foot in the figurative door. It seemed to pay off: she made the find of a lifetime at seventeen. Then she got punted into the future.

Sunset Shimmer finally belonged somewhere for the first time in her life. She felt like she finally had a family. Then it all fell apart. That didn't mean she could stop working, though. She was the one who brought Equestrian magic to the Human world, it was her responsibility to keep it in check.

While trying to track down a magic surge that should have been impossible, she met someone who would, eventually, become a friend. There's just one problem: Sunset knows that Daring Do is a fictional character. So why is this someone, who claims to trust Sunset, insisting her name is Daring Do?
