The Crystal Empire finds itself in the middle of property dispute when a representative from the north comes in, claiming that Equestria doesn't own the land. Who does? Canada, apparently.

Are there times you've ever wondered, "Jee, why did the girls at Canterlot High forgive Sunset Shimmer for her evil succubus meddling so easily?"

The answer's simple: "Because, deep down, she's a pretty pretty pony, you stupid melon fudges!"

One of the hardest things is knowing I chose to come here. Sometimes, I have my regrets. Sometimes, I know it's for the better in the end. Sometimes, however... It's too much to handle. I've been away from everybody in Equestria for so long now... Thirty moons ago I left, and now, here I am, being blessed with the opportunity to go back to the place I loved so much...

Sunset Shimmer is homeless and living in an old abandoned warehouse with no power and a leaky roof with almost nothing to her name, not even her favorite jacket after it was destroyed during the Fall Formal. With the school closed down for the holiday and her so called friends too caught up in their own holiday plans they don't realize Sunset not only doesn't have any...but she has no place to get food with the school closed.

Going to a close by community center Christmas Eve to get a hot meal they were giving the homeless and those down on their luck, Sunset runs into the family of the last person she expected to see there...

While ironically watching the sun going down, Sunset Shimmer looks upon the remnants of her life, questioning herself. Why does she need to exist? Why does she continue living? Everything in her life has gone wrong and she's just a burden to others; it would just be easier on everyone if she was dead.

Set directly after the first Equestria Girls, hours after Twilight's return home.

No one has seen Sunset Shimmer in a week after the Fall Formal. Principal Celestia is getting worried. She doesn't really know much about Sunset Shimmer, but she is aware that she is alone in this world. When Celestia finds Sunset it is worse than she knew. Now, Celestia moves to heal the heart of the girl from another world. It is to be a difficult and hard fought battle against Sunset's own perception of self.

Can Sunset turn her life around from the downward spiral that it is in? Or is she right to believe that she is only a demon and deserves only the worst in life? Sunset's journey to forgiving herself starts with allowing her mentor's alternate into her life, but does she deserve to have the chance to disappoint two Celestias?

Four days after the marriage of Shining Armor and Princess Cadence, as well as the defeat of Queen Chrysalis, Fluttershy receives a visit by Twilight. Twilight tells her that if she sees any changelings, she needs to tell her immediately, on Celestia's orders. Fluttershy, not wishing to do so, begins thinking about it, and the things she thinks of makes her anxious and uneasy. In doing so, she decides to take a walk into the Everfree Forest to calm her mind and enjoy the view. While admiring the scenery, she trips on something. Looking back, she finds something she feared having to find, for the risk of being shunned by her society-a hurt changeling. Because of the nature of Celestia's instructions, Fluttershy must make a tough decision: Whether to turn this changeling in or to bring it into her home to make it better.

The real question is will Fluttershy fall to the peer pressure of society, or will she do what her heart tells her is right?
