So I know that there's been some concern about the story, but let me reassure you that I am still hard at work and have been making progress. In fact, the next chapter is written, but I am reluctant to publish it until I have the following ones done as I'm afraid they might necessitate some changes and I don't want to do major changes to published chapters.

I edited this chapter a while ago and something about it wasn't sitting right with me. Since it's been bugging me for almost a week, I'm going to take some more time on it and see if I can work out the kinks. This one scene is important and I'd like to avoid having to change it after it's been released.

Sorry, this week has been a lot of bad stuff added to an already bad year. Spent most of yesterday getting an x-ray for my daughter so I didn't finish editing. (She broke her collarbone twirling.) Today we have another doctor's appointment. Ugh, I am so done with 2020. The new chapter should be up next week though at this point I hate tempting fate.

I just wanted to let you know that there will be an update, just as soon as I can get the chapter edited. I tried to do it last night but discovered a problem that will require some rewriting and I was not up to doing that at 11:30. I'm working on it now but it's slow going.
