After having a stern talking to from the Cakes, Pinkie feels she needs to start taking her life more seriously. She begs Twilight to use a new spell to change her personality so she will be more 'serious bu-derious’ and not silly and random. Twilight uses the spell but instead it ends up giving her horn to Pinkie and while Pinkie is a very intelligent and studious unicorn, Twilight is a silly and random Earth pony who wants to constantly throw parties. Pinkie must put up with living like this for an entire day and keep anyone else from finding out that Twilight was also affected. It will all be fine, the personality-switch spell will be over in just 24 hours..........or will it?

This is the first story of the Nyx Chronicles on my account.

Twilight has to go to Canterlot for a few months to learn more from Princess Celestia about being a Princess. Turns out she can't bring Nyx, and has to leave her with Rainbow Dash. But when a bond between the two develops, it leads to an awesome time. but when a dangerous pony named Dark Shadow threatens to use Nyx to take over Equestria, Nyx will have to learn how to use the Ancient Legendary equestrian emeralds from the original holder, in order to protect Equestria and herself from the threat.

Twilight Sparkle wakes up one morning to discover that something strange is going on. Every pony she meets gets angry or shows hatred towards her for no reason. Twilight soon realizes that this all part of some big revenge plot created by an old foe of hers.

After she was turned into a filly again, Nyx was unable to get off of the ground. She asked her mother for lessons, but was told that she had to wait.
Twilight is terrified of her only daughter leaving the ground and will go to any expense to keep her safe.
