The weekend came and Nyx and Rainbow Dash were seen in a field outside ponyville with Lunar Eclipse. Through out the morning, Lunar was teaching Nyx how to use the emeralds magic since he was the previous user. Rainbow was helping Nyx the best she could by helping her concentrate by rubbing her back and telling her to think of Twilight. At 12:00 pm, Nyx completed the lessons for the weekend and Lunar said he will teach her more next Saturday. As he was about to leave Nyx called his name and asked him to ask Princess Celestia if she, Luna and Twilight  can come with her and Rainbow to spell nexus place. Lunar asked why and Nyx responded that she wants to have Nexus to gather the  ponies who were once members of children of Nightmare and recruit others to be Nyxs army for the battle against Dark Shadow. Lunar agreed and he was on his way back to canterlot. Rainbow then turned to Nyx and smiled. "So.... you wanna go Camping? we can invite Applejack, Applebloom, Rarity, Sweetie belle, and Scootaloo?

"Sure."

Nyx and Rainbow went on their way and gathered camping supplies. after rainbow gathered  her belongins and got Nyx a sleeping bag, they went to get their friends and prepare to go camping.


Camping


Nyx was having a fun time Camping, Rainbow made them smores, she Played cards  and was getting prepared for rainbow to tell a ghost story. Rainbows ghost story was really good and Nyx knew that it was a ghost story. after the ghost story was finish, Nyx was looking at the ground when she was remembering something. "Whats wrong Nyx?" asked Rainbow

"i...i'm remembering a Bad memory from the time i was nightmare moon."

"do you want to tell us about it, just to get it off your chest?"

Nyx then nodded and she began telling what she remembered. she told them that she remembered when she decided to do the right thing, something happen to twilight. she then started to say that Twilight wanted to speak to her and what twilight did. she then told them she remembered seeing twilight about to get hanged and she saved twilight. when she finished they felt sorry for her. that night left a bad memory in Nyx. as nyx finished her smore. she was about to go into the tent when she turned to Rainbow. "Rainbow, remember we need to go to canterlot tomorrow and ask Spell Nexus if he can reasseble the children of nightmare temporary for the fight against Dark Shadow and the Children of the Shadow."

"don't worry, i'll take you there."

Nyx then went into the tent and went to sleep. Nyx was going to settle this once and for all. it was time for the Children of Nightmare to be reassembled and be her army for this fight. she has to have nexus do this, not just for her sake, but for everypony and Lunar.


Canterlot


out side twilights old room, when she was part of celestias school. Lunar can be seen outside, looking depressed. "Why....Why did you do this to me? Why did you kill my love? She ment alot to me." he said to himself. Twilight then came outside and saw Lunar Crying.

"whats wrong?"

"i...i being haunted by my loves death."

"its still haunting you."

"Not only that. she....she was celestias pupil. she was the love of my life"

"so you basically telling me Dark Shadow Killed Celestias student? thats horrible."

"Its is. Dark Shadow is a Cold blooded Killer. the scene left a permanent image in me. now i feel like i won't be able to love another pony again."

Twilight felt sorry for Lunar. He went Through alot. Losing a love one, being brainwshed by a blessing, Life torn apart, and fears hes next for betraying Dark Shadow. Twilight felt like he needed somepony to love him, somepony to be by him. Twilight then hugged him. "I went through the same thing with Nyx. you see when Nyx was Nightmare Moon as a filly, Celestia took her away from me and it broke my heart. when i found out she was fully turned into Nightmare Moon, she thought i betrayed her, and locked me up. Time later i was blessed and force to kill Nyx. i was about to get hanged by Nexus, whom was possesed by a fragment of nightmare moons armor, when Nyx rescued me and removed the blessing. but sometime later Nyx was turned back to noramal and she became my daughter. i know what it felt like it hurts". Lunar took it in and hugged twilight.

"Th....thank you."

"do...do you want to be my coltfriend. it would make your old Marefriend happy and glad you decided to move on.

Lunar thought for a moment and thought hard. his marefriend would defiantly be happy to see he moved on. "i would love to. if it will put Fire Storms soul to rest. i will be happy two."

Twilight then hugged Lunar happily and together the two walked back inside to get some rest. suddenly a spirit showed up out side as the door closed. the spirit appeared to be smiling. "i hope you and that filly finally bring this to an end Lunar. you eased my soul by moving on and finding a new marefriend. please defeat Dark Shadow and bring me to eternal peace in the afterlife." the spirit said as it faded away.


Canterlot
The next morning


Nyx and Rainbow Dash were seen walking to Nexus's manor along with Lunar, Luna, Twilight and Celestia. as they approach Nexus door, Nyx knocked on it. the door opened and Etiquette was seen. "ah your highnesses.s what brings you and these ponies here?'

"We all would like to see Nexus, serious matter."

"yes your highness will all of you follow me"

the group followed etiquette as they followed him to Nexus study. etiquette then open the study door and walked in "Sir we have some guests that would like to speak to you."

"*Sigh* bring em in"

Etiquette then moved out of the way and the group entered and Spell was shocked to see his visitors. "what buisness do you need your highnesses?" asked nexus

"Nyx wants to speak to you."

Spell then looked at Nyx. "what is it you want to speak about"

Nyxs then looked at nexus. "We... need the services of the formal Children of Nightmare."

"What.... Why? i thought you let go of your past sins. why..."

Lunar looked at spell. "Because Dark Shadows army is coming here in 2 months to kidnap Nyx. He's planning on taking over Equestria with the Equestrian emeralds."

Spell was shocked, he looked a Lunar.  "who are you?"

"My name is Lunar Eclipse, Princess Luna's Long lost son, I was under Darks control due to his blessing.'

to spell nexus, he was surprised, Lunar was the long lost son of Luna. he then looked at celestia and at Nyx. "You approve of this you highness?"

"yes. we are in danger, and i can't risk ponies dying due to this. we may need the children of Nightmare which Nyx is renaming The Nyx rebellion."

Spell thought for a moment. he then took a drink from his glass and finally made up his mind. "Very well. if Nyx is in danger we will have to gather the formal members of the children of nightmare."

The others had to agreed and head out with Spell Nexus to find the members.

1 hour later


Nyx, the others and Spell Nexus found the formal members. Spell Nexus explained the situation and they all agreed to help in battle. one member was left, a business stallion who works with the apple family. as they approach the door and knocked on it. the door open and Filthy Rich was in view and saw the princesses. "what brings you here your highness?"

"somepony wants to speak to you."

Spell Nexus came to view and then Diamond Tiara came to view.

"its been a while mr. rich, or should i say Brother rich"

diamond then looked at Nyx "YOU. WHY ARE YOU HERE? CAME TO LAUGH, HUH NIGHTMARE MOON?"

"diamond tiara not now."

Spell Nexus looked at his daughter. "It seems you didn't reveal to your daughter that you are one of the many ponies that created Nyx Brother Rich."

Diamond Tiara looked surprise and looked at  her dad. "You...you created Nyx?"

Rich sighed in defeat "Yes, i am a formal member of children of nightmare Diamond. but Nyx freed me."

Diamond was shocked. she was mad what she heard. she then went back to her room. Rich then looked at Spell. "What business do you have?"

"we would like you to help us. the children of nightmare are resembling at Nyx's request. reason is that a pony named Dark Shadow is coming and hes planning on using Nyx and the emeralds to take over equestria."

Rich then thought for a moment, he knew how dangerous Dark Shadow was and everything. he then looked at Spell. "no blessing this time?" he asked

"no. we'll be doing this to protect equestria and Nyx."

"I'm in."

Spell then smiled. "it settled then meet the members at my manor. we be going over are strategy and preparation."

Rich gave a nod and said goodbye and closed the door. Spell looked at Nyx and Rainbow. "well i guess me, the princesses Twilight and Lunar should be heading back to canterlot." said Nexus. The princesses, twilight and Lunar nodded. Twilight then stepped up and hugged Nyx goodbye. the princesses horn lit up and the 5 ponies disappeared. Rainbow then looked at Nyx, and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"i guess we can go head to my place for a bit, then i will take you to the acres for your sleepover. hows that sound?"

Nyx agreed and hopped on Rainbows Back. they then took of and headed to rainbows house. Nyx was happy that Spell was going to help out in battle. she's hopping that this would put an end to Dark Shadow.
