in ponyville on sunday, Rainbow Dash and Nyx were seen walking. they were heading to the arcade. "So what are we gonna do at the arcade." asked Nyx.
"We are gonna play some games for a bit, then we are going to fluttershys, and we are going to have lunch. i haven't figured out what else we can do."
"Oh."
Rainbow and Nyx were walking when suddenly they bumped into Spell Nexus, whom was visiting ponyville. "Oh, its you Nightmare... er i mean Nyx." He greeted
"Spell Nexus, what brings you hear, i thought you were in canterlot, doing your work at the Princess's school?'
Rainbow then looked at Nyx. "You know him?" she asked.
"yea he was the reason i was created, and the reason i was fully turned into Nightmare moon. Turned out he was possessed by a fragment of The original Nightmare moons armor."
spelll nexus then cleared his throat. "Well, i decided to take a vacation. one rreason is i been working hard and deserved one, while the other is i keeping getting distracted about what happened 2 years ago."
"I Been over coming my past from 2 years ago, besides you were forgiven for it and allowed to keep your position as headmaster. i know it wasn't easy for myself to forgive myself for my past sins." Nyx then started chuckling alittle "heh, Past Sins. that seems Like a amazing idea of a Novel about my life during those times 2 years ago."
"I...agree on that Nyx. I will share your idea with the princess to see if she can find someone to make it into a book. so how come your not with Twilight in canterlot?"
Rainbow then stepped up. "Its because due to her being on a crammed schedule, She had to have Nyx stay with me for what she now told me in a letter 2 months. earlier this week i became Nyxs Godmother, so shes Living with me temporary until twilight returns."
"Ah so thats what i heard when i heard Nyx was getting a new Family member."
Nyx then was looking worried. "Whats wrong Nyx?" said Nexus. Nyx then closed her eyes and then a glow came and the 7 emeralds came visible and were slowly spinning around her.
"I was wondering if you knew anything about these."
Spell Nexsus was speechless, his jaw droped and his eyes were wide. "Oh....My. Nyx, you just found the Legendary super Anicent gems Known as the Equestrian Emeralds. how...how did you find them?"
"in a field outside ponyville."
"Nyx. this means you have certain abilities now. even it means the emeralds gave you your own magic. i will send you a letter to Rainbows house with what abilities you have and what spells you can use."
"Okay."
Spell Nexus then said his goodbyes and continued what he was doing. Nyx and Rainbow head towards the arcade.
Arcade and fluttershys
at the arcade, Rainbow and Nyx had a fun time, They played lots of games, such a Pony Kart, hoops, and tons more. after the arcade they went to Fluttershys and hung out. they talked about how they were doing, Nyxs idea of a book based off her life 2 years ago, what they learned about the Emeralds, and afterwards they played a game of Texas holdem. Nyx was Really good and Rainbow was surprise. "i didn't know you were good at cards."

after their final game they said goodbye to fluttershy and headed on their way
Nyx vs Dusk Fire
Nyx and Rainbow dash were heading on their way to grab some grub as they were walking towards Ponyville "That was a great Game Nyx"
"yea i was on fire. if my Mom or Uncle shiny saw me play, they be cheering."
"yea i guess the only thing missing were awesome Sunglasses."
As Nyx and Rainbow were heading towards a restaurant Pinkie came out of nowhere and asked if she can hang with them. the two agreed and she followed, Nyx then heard a spell heading their direction. "LOOK OUT RAINBOW, LOOK OUT PINKIE!." shouted Nyx. Nyx then jumped and knocked Rainbow and pinkie out of the way.
"what was that for?" Rainbow asked
Suddenly their was a voice. "Heh heh, at last we meet Nyx." said the voice. the pony appeared and he was a Black pony, with a black mane and a Cross sword as his cutie mark.
"Who are you?"
"I am dusk fire. and you are coming with me Nightmare Moon."
"Don't call me That and i'm not going anyway with you.."
"surrender or prepare to fight"
"I WILL NOT SURRENDER."
"FIne then prepare to fight."
"Oh no, its Majoras mask, Mini boss battle theme" Said pinkie Breaking the 4th wall
Dusk then shot a magic attack at Nyx. However Nyx dodged as dusk kept firing awa. Dusk then charged at Nyx. then backed flipped in the air and kick dusk with a powerful kick, it sent him skidding and hitting a tree. "Come and get me, I. DARE. YOU!" taunted Nyx. Dusk charged at Nyx, But Nyxs horn began to glow and charged. as it was completely charged she then Cleared her throat."I'M A FIRIN MAH LAZER" shouted Nyx with her equestrian Voice. it hit dusk and it was draining him badly. Suddenly flash of light appeared out of nowhere and It was Celestia and a group of Gaurds. Celestia then saw Nyx and Dusk FIghting. Nyx was using Magic to defend herself from her attacker.
"How did she get her magic back" thought celestia
Suddenly the glow returned and the emeralds appeared and were moving very Fast Around Nyx, her eyes then fadded to white and her horn was shimering as a spell was being charged. Dusk was Stunned at the eyes. "YOU WILL NOT TAKE ME, AWAY FROM THE PONIES I WILL PROTECT". said Nyx in a echo godly like voice. the spell fired and dusk was Knocked down. Nyx has defeated him. her eyes turned back to normal and the emeralds faded back in her. she started catching her breath. Celestia walked up to Nyx. "You okay Nyx?" she asked
"Eep... oh. i am okay."
Dusk then started to get up and started looking at Nyx. "You are going to pay. my leader will have to hear....aww crud" he said as he saw Celestia. as he started to run Nyx looked at celestia.
"I got this." said Nyx.
Nyxs horn started to glow and a a spell was shot at Dusk, completely immobilizing him from escaping. Celestia then walked up to dusk. "I'm not saying..." said Dusk
"SILENCE! You are part of Children of the Shadow aren't you?"
dusk was shocked. he, the best Solder in his leaders team. not only he was defeated by Nyx. but was caught by Celestia. Nyx then let him regain movement. but casted another spell once he got up. the spell nyx casted was causing the ground to gow around his hoofs, making him not able to escape. Dusk looked Like he was about to cast a spell. Celestias horn met with Dusks and began to glow, suddenly Nyx, Rainbow, and Pinkie heard a Noise. "CRACK". celestias spell destroyed Dusks horn and it landed on the ground. "I'm sorry, but you committed several crimes in the past, you were a rouge Guard and Killed one of my best Troops, you even escaped from Jail. I'm sorry it had to end this way." celestia turned to Nyx and the Guards.
"Nyx, please undo the spell, you two, apprehend dusk shine, take him to the Palace cells."
Nyx and the guards did as what they were told. after Nyx uncast the spell the guards hogtied dusk fire and gave a salute to Celestia and headed towards canterlot.
celestia then turned to Nyx, Rainbow and Pinkie"Are you 3 okay?" asked celestia
"We're okay" they are replied
"Thank goodness."
"h..how did you know something was up?" ask Nyx
"Spell Nexus told me that he heard 2 ponies talking and one of them was dusk. they were planning on taking Nyx away so they can overthrow me because Nyx has the equestrian emeralds."
"But why would they want to take my goddaughter aka twilights daughter away from me and her?" asked Rainbow
"according to what i remember, the Equestrian emeralds have the same Magic as the elements. You see when the elements were made, the equestrian emeralds were made for a pony destined in each life span to use to protect evil. how ever when the original Holder from the year when Luna became Nightmare Moon, he went rouge and the emeralds turned on him and went to a new spot for the new destined one to use. Due to this, the old holder froze himself in time However i didn't expect dusk to do this. it seems "Lunar Eclipse" has returned and wants venganced against me and Luna. i don't know what cause him to do this, its like hes being possessed."
"What connection does he have with you?" asked Pinkie
"Lunar eclipse is my sisters Son."
"WHAT." the all gasped
"it turned out he had a loved one in his past, when she was killed by Dark Shadow, a very dangerous Pony who was defeated by me years ago, and sealed in the shadows. but i don't know how he escaped.. but i do know that Dark Shadow used some blessing to Control him. after Luna became Nightmare moon and i banished her, he acted weird and he lost it. after i found Dark shadow i sealed him in the shadows, whiched caused Lunar to freeze himself in time."
"does that explain why dusk fire attacked me."
"Yes apparently they call themselves the Children of the Shadow. they are known for lurking in the shadows, Unlike the Children of Nightmare, they are dangerous."
"i Hope it doesn't happen again. i don't want my goddaughter getting taken. i don't want twilight thinking i was wrong." said rainbow
"Rainbow you are loyal, Nyx is to powerful right now for them to take."
Rainbow couldn't help but smile.
"Nyx, since you found the equestrian emeralds, and you are destined for them, you can keep em along with the magic it gave you. Nexus will be informing you about what abilities you have. also he told me about your idea of a book which you dubbed "PAST SINS", i will have the book made and you will get the first copy. even twilight."
"Thank you Princess" said Nyx who gave a bow
"i must go back to canterlot, i will have to have a little talk with dusk fire about the Children of the Shadow."
celestia then casted a spell and she glowed and teleported back to canterlot.
Nyx, Pinkie and rainbow looked at one another. "so want to go have lunch now?" asked rainbow. Nyx and pinkie Nodded and they followed her to a buffet to have Lunch
