Started by Dinodisneylover1, who has introduced us this fun and inspiring fanfic series where the ponies and friends had discovered a magic book titled: The Book of Disney.

With it, the Mane 6, Spike, and all of their friends can travel to the stories created by Walt Disney and his crew, experience the magics of Disney, and create fun memories and experience the adventures of a lifetime with the characters.

This group is made to unite the fandoms of MLP FIM and Disney alike, exchanging fun facts, reviving scrapped ideas that have potential, and to join Dinodisneylover1 in writing the stories for the Disney Chronicles.

We Are The Disney Chronicles.

The fact of the matter is: Every storyteller has a choice on how to handle their characters. In one series, the obvious ship holds up for the series. But some series, that's not always the case (Like in 'Cinematic Adventures', when Mr. Enigma and I decided to have Rarity marry Erik from 'The Phantom of the Opera'). While it's true I grew up watching a Broadway show where Erik will always long for Christine no matter what, so much that this is further explored in the 'sequel' (Love Never Dies, which to me was... Just okay), I wanted to understand why Mr. Enigma 'wanted' this for his rendition of the series. Even if that meant Spike would be disappointed that his crush ends up with another man yet at the same time leaving him open to explore 'possible' relationships with either a canon character from the series or perhaps someone else (We still don't know).

The point is: No choice is right or wrong when it comes to how we tell stories. Fans have every right to voice their opinions, but unless they decided to put together their own story to explain 'why' their ideas work better than ours their words are utterly useless. And 'even' if they did put their stories together, whose to say they are any better? Whose to say anyone will like their work for one reason or another? But the fact they at least 'tried' regardless if it succeeds or if it's doomed to fail right from the beginning, better than just sitting on your couch tweeting to the world of your woes and misery.

They say the show may be over and 'everything' is canon, but it's only 'canon' when we 'choose' to make it happen. But understand that as more people put their canon ideas together, they are doomed to inevitably clash much like the bouts between Demos and Reps over what's right and wrong, forgetting to consider not what's best for themselves but best for the country. You are a talented storyteller, Phantom-Dragon, I will always think so.

But sometimes... Even the greatest artists in the world can only be truly great, no matter what subject they explore, if they can learn to express 'humility' and realize they're never going to feel right... About anything, if not everything. That sometimes, they need to look back and realize... They were 'wrong' (Though some will 'never' see it).

Well, I didn't want to say anything before but... I was wondering if this whole 'jealousy' angle with the love triangle centered on Spike, Rarity, and Gabby was getting a bit... 'Repetitive'. On one hand, I get there are still a TON of 'Sparity' fans who want this ship to be official (Despite the OBVIOUS age differences between the two) and I often think there are TONS of other girls, a few close to his age, that would pay a lot more attention to Spike's feelings more than Rarity does (Who in my opinion viewed Spike as more of the little brother she never had). And yet, the moment there's a chance that Spike 'could' be with someone else like Gabby or Smolder... Or even Sweetie Belle like that one 'season finale'... Fans are immediately threatened by the chance a harmless friendship can mean something more that they insist it's not 'right' for all the 'wrong', if not 'close-minded' reasons.

I get that there will always be fans who think Spike should be with Rarity and vice versa, but that still begs the question: What do THEY want? After all, we're not the creators of the series and we're only going based off what the actual team put together. Even if Spike 'does' end up with someone let's say during the events of the 'Season 10' comics or never at all, is that really such a bad thing if Spike didn't end up with Rarity? I understand why folks still do this, I see a TON of fan material on that matter all the time trying to justify why the creators 'should've' stuck with the status quo instead of exploring Spike's outings with Gabby.

The fact of the matter is: It's not fair to anyone making one angle the reason why someone feels threatened that their ship could sink and it's not fair to use someone as an excuse to be jealous. And I agree with you on that, P.D., it's not fair. That maybe if you were to understand where the characters were coming from before judging them based on their actions... Maybe you'll have a better understanding as to why the team did it this way (Even if you don't agree with their decisions).

I’m so terrible at these things. I know Dinodisneylover1 is shipping Spike and Rarity in his Disney Chronicles, and I have no qualms about that. I totally respect that. I just thought I could at least slice things up a bit with some “implications” of my own of “Spabby” to spark some competitive with anyone here who thinks otherwise.

But instead, I ended up making more troubles than fun. Think of it as if you’re playing the same video game, over and over again, winning the fights and claiming the grand prize. But it gets boring, after awhile, knowing the outcome will always be the same.

I just wanted to see if anyone else can top my ideas, or at least join me and combine their ideas with mine and others.

This is what being a team is all about. Sharing ideas, building them up with one after another, like playing a game of LEGO.

I love this group, and I love everyone who are in it, and I don’t want that to die. Maybe that’s the magic of Disney. Uniting people together. Friends and family alike. Making and sharing memories together. Drawing strength from one another, to build that glorious kingdom that Walt Disney had given to us.

So, I've just realized that what I've been doing with Spike, Rarity, and Gabby has been... unfair. Honestly, I was enjoying myself making Rarity jealous enough to pursue Spike, with Gabby... but it's been bumming me out a lot, and I know why. Because I was so focused on the "Jealousy" on Rarity's part, that sometimes I haven't been thinking too deeply, or maturely on how Spike's friendship with Gabby would grow on a genuine level we could all relate on.

It's unfair to have Rarity feel threatened about the whole "Spabby" ship, but it's also not fair to use Gabby to make Rarity jealous for Spike. The last thing any of us would want is a repeat of what happened in Spider–Man 3 with Gwen Stacey and Mary Jane.

Looking back and reading off some of the quote suggestions I've left behind in the past, I not only see myself entertaining, inspiring, or even sharing most of my ideas with my fellow creative writers, but I'm also asking myself, was I really like that? Was that I how I think in my storytelling? And will I be any better in the coming future? Am I losing sight of what's really Disney?

The answers will come. Only time will tell, but it's us who should take the initiative. And I for one hope I can find the answer soon.

As announced on a recent thread:

Until the issues revolving around 'The Disney Chronicles' being taken down are settled or not, the series in general is 'Closed' for business.

All threads in relation to the series: Films in the Disney line-up, Pixar, Live Action material, and even off-shore productions are on 'lockdown'. Not 'Deleted', just 'Locked'. You can look at all the threads, see who would've been guest stars, and see all the opinions surrounding the films, the good and bad, but there will be no further discussions on 'any' of the movies on their threads.

As of this moment, those who are still on this group are free to do whatever they please. But they only have TWO options:

You can 'stay'... Or you can 'leave'. No one will be forced to do 'anything', we at the Disney Chronicles committee are allowing you the freedom to do what you want.

But again, "The Disney Chronicles" are closed until further notice.

We're sorry.

We all have much to learn when it comes to anything in life, learning how to work this system is one of them. The site barely offers an instruction manual as far as how to go about our business on this site, though I'm sure there is one if you look hard enough and ask the right people. Otherwise, we pretty much just go in blind and have to work our way before we know how nearly everything works.

But give it time, you'll certainly adjust well enough.

Thank you for inviting me into this group. It’s interesting that I’m 21 years old, that is studying to be a hip hop music producer, yet likes Disney and My Little Pony. 😂

This is our chance to put a bug in Disney’s ear to buy Hasbro 😂

But in all seriousness, I do want to thank you for inviting me to this group. I’m still learning how to use this website, so eventually I’ll adapt.

Your a good person

Your heart is in the right place and I greatly appreciate it. Being that we've been doing this 'social distancing' enough long before all this insanity, it's nice to bond with certain colleagues. Rather than dwell on the negatives surrounding these events, it is wise to consider how we would rather 'live' and not just about worrying of all that 'can' go wrong. Times are hard right now, but humanity has survived much worse before any of this came about. All we can do now is make the most of our time, do what we can to adjust, and make do with the fact that so long as we are still alive, only good things will come moving forward.

Okay so this message is for Dino, Drama, Tim Ribbert, and anypony else whom doesn't mind joining in: With every f**king thing happening in the world right now I've recently noticed that my grandmother send me and my family a Socially-Distanced Hug text on our phones. So I thought I should do somethin' like that on here, and another thing I'm not asking anyone to Follow my page, none of that but I will say this, I would like to offer anypony here my friendship. If ya do then I appreciate it immensely and if ya don't then I do apologize in advance for it being awkward and such. So with that said here's the Socially-Distanced Hug I mentioned. At a time like this I believe we deserve it.,h_713,strp/mane_six_and_spike_group_hug_by_tardifice_da0zsg1-pre.png?token=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJzdWIiOiJ1cm46YXBwOjdlMGQxODg5ODIyNjQzNzNhNWYwZDQxNWVhMGQyNmUwIiwiaXNzIjoidXJuOmFwcDo3ZTBkMTg4OTgyMjY0MzczYTVmMGQ0MTVlYTBkMjZlMCIsIm9iaiI6W1t7ImhlaWdodCI6Ijw9MTAwMDAiLCJwYXRoIjoiXC9mXC9kOTE2YmY0ZC02ZjlmLTQ1NTMtYmIyNy02YTMzYmUwYTI2MTdcL2RhMHpzZzEtZjM5MDMzZTEtNmMzMS00OWI4LWIxYTAtNzIzZThjYjkwMDJjLnBuZyIsIndpZHRoIjoiPD0xNTcwMCJ9XV0sImF1ZCI6WyJ1cm46c2VydmljZTppbWFnZS5vcGVyYXRpb25zIl19.stsL5RwPwgb2n9ZyWmJkdCJC5Dw-vpYm5holYoJ83ts

Thank you Drama:scootangel:. I really appreciate it. I didn't have a big party but I did have a awesome lunch with my brother and my parents on one day and then the next day I had lunch with my brother again and my grandparents.

Well now, a whole-hearty congratulations to you. From one 28 year old to another, I sure hope you have an awesome party coming up. Course, I'll be turning 29 later this year but that won't be for another couple months. So, any ideas on what you might decide to do?

Like, since you brought this up, going to see that 'Onward' movie with your family and friends? Unless you prefer to see it another time; I hear they sometimes do early showings on Thursday. And since not many people go on a Thursday night, shouldn't be hard to find any seat you want.

Fillies and Gentlecolts I have a announcement to make: March 6 is not only the release of Disney & Pixar's Onward (witch I certainly hope it's good) but it is a special day for somepony/someone too...

Thanks Pinkie.

:pinkiesmile:No Problemo! (wink)

and that somepony/someone is...

Cody T Brony: That's Right Y'all! This Friday is my 28th birthday!

Yeah... It's in the 'Warning' page. Just more dirt to fill on the matter at hand.

I'm going to continue gather some sources to figure out just what is going. I will say... That is the 'crappiest' Fantasia 2000 poster I've ever seen and I thought we made it abundantly clear Chancellor Neighsay is having no part of the project.

Unless something came up that I don't know about, then that one is on me. But right now, ensuring to find proof just how terrible those people are is more than enough for me.

Lemme guess. Callion getting a message from said cronies again?

Sounds to me like this kid has always been a troublemaker from the get-go. Now I've had some of my comments disliked before, but I always thought it had something to do with that moron Jewelius and his cronies. Now they currently reside on the 'Disney Chronicles' fanbase and even though I warned Dino, one of the administrators, that they're in that group and despite the fact that the MLP guy is aware of how rude they are... Last I checked him, Kcharros and even that JD guy are still on there.

If I were an administrator on that fan group, I'd have all three of them banned IMMEDIATELY and the whole comment section where every bit of garbage they threw out 'cleaned'. But no... Until the administrators of that group decide to take immediate action, there's nothing more I can do. I'm not even in that fan group on account that the MLP guy claimed to be a 'Disney Chronicles' creator.

Of course Dino did say they 'talked' about doing Disney material based on straight-to-video productions and television runs, but that's beside the point.

The same he did to "me". I just found the old comment. He put a dislike on an older comment of "mine" last 2018, just for sounding generic, and he whined about being called out by. Never change.

It all happened before you joined us, I think.

He did throw a hissy fit when he automatically assumed we were going to keep the idea that Scrappy Doo would be portrayed in a negative light and immediately put a dislike on the story just out of that assumption. I had him kicked out of the group after that because I was not going to tolerate another misbehaved brat like it's preschool all over again. But then I felt sorry for how pathetic he was, begging for forgiveness that he 'liked' the series and was not hating it for that. So because I wanted to prove that I 'can' be a fair administrator, I decided to give him another chance... But NOT without a warning.

If he starts acting up again, for any reason whatsoever, I will have him removed from the group again... Only this time, it'll be "FOR GOOD". No 'ifs', 'ands', or 'buts'. You get what I'm talking about?

Something about that Toonwriter guy doesn't quite please me. I believe last 2018, when my userpage of mine isn't its best behavior, I believe Toonwriter wrote "me" a negative comment just because "I" wrote a simple but generic comment appreciating a chapter he makes.

It seemed he's a jerk. Gave that old comment of "mine" multiple dislikes.
