Gallus receives an invite from Grampa Gruff to attend a new observance of some sort. He and the rest of the Student Six take the old griffin up on his offer, resulting in a night they likely won't soon forget.

I remember that fateful hunting trip. It was just me, my rifle, and the prey. That was supposed to be it. Score a big buck and come home with the kill. That was not the case here as nothing could have prepared me for the outcomes of that day. As I was following a trail, I stumbled upon a cave of sorts. Curiosity got the better of me and I found the most beautiful crystal I had ever seen. And like a moth to candle flame, I touched it. And man, as soon as I laid finger on that stone, everything changed. As cliche as that sounds, it’s the truth. Stranded in the middle of no where, I am now the chosen light among the chaos in this new world. Armed with nothing but my rifle and my wits, a world of wonder and magic is up for the taking. Thus my new life and adventure begins. And before I go, know that I’m in this game till the end.

Griffonstone is almost back to its former glory. They no longer need the Idol of Boreas, instead, they have a new leader; Queen Gilda. However, their new queen isn't feeling too confident about her new role and she's not the only one as Glynn and Gadget, two griffons who were a part of a gang that shouldn't be named, are concerned about being parents to Gallus.

Waking up with a hole in the head might seem like a bad way to start your life, but what if you deserved it?

"Every pony like me should be shot in the head at least once."

When he discovers the entire wasteland hates him, the amnesiac Ripple, once Two-Kick Rip the raider warlord, sees his wounds in a very new light. On a path that's half vengeance and half bid to redeem himself, he must rid the wasteland of his old gang and another, much more sinister foe.

It is winter in Equestria, but for Second Lieutenant Gallus, he's instead of going to spend the holidays in Equestria or even Griffonstone. He and his loving hippogriff Silverstream are off to her home in Mount Aris to enjoy the Three Days of Freedom Celebration with her extended family.

Hippogriffs give each other gifts on the third day, and for their first holiday as a couple, Gallus wants to get the perfect gift for Silverstream. There is just one problem, that's easier said than done.

One is that Silverstream has a tendency to love everything in sight, what would be the perfect gift for some creature like that? Second, how can a simple griffon compete against Silverstream's Hippogriff Royal Family?
