A three arced story that begins slowly as partially Comedy and Slice of life and rotates more towards Adventure and Dark in later chapters.

Some school fillies have to deal with school crushes. Others with bullies. Sometimes they have to deal with both. But no filly has ever had to deal with an Evil Tyrant being bound to their shadow and have the power to control their every action. This, of course, seems to be no big deal for Sweetie Belle who seems to even enjoy the stallion's company. Though the feelings aren't mutual. The small filly reminds the old king too much of a filly he used to know... Though it's strange the only place he'd seen her before are in these strange dreams of his. Recollections of a past he can't remember.

Perhaps Sweetie Belle will awake in him that version of himself before he was a Tyrant. Before he was labeled evil. A time from when he was a father. Perhaps she will help him forgive.

Shining Armor awakens one night to find a baby pony/changeling on his doorstep. A baby that is apparently his as well as Chrysalis's. Can he keep Cadance in the dark? Can Twilight help him? Ever since her parents were killed that night years ago Lightning Dust has been waiting for the moment to get back at the criminal who stole them from her. This all changes when she realizes that vengeance can only get you so far and causes only pain. Now she leaves her home city of Trottham to embark on a journey that begins her long and painful ascension into not only a legendary hero but the symbol of hope she was always destined to be. The first story in the MLPDCverse I have planned were the roles of our main cast is not the same as normal. Some characters are heroes. Others are villains.

Act 1: I Am Vengeance.

When Rainbow Dash is killed in a tragic accident, she is sent to purgatory. Once there, she is faced with the possibilities of everything she ever wanted... Along with that which she feared most.

[A/N: Haven't written anything sad in a while, so I decided to try this out. Will contain the obvious, minus the OC's. Also, I am not ripping off "That Which Makes Up a Rainbow", I didn't even realize how similar the two were until I started writing it. But no, this is not the same story nor is it supposed to be. It's just something that popped into my head.]

After barely surviving a tornado, a small-time Unicorn magician finds himself in Changeling territory, where he is hailed as a savior marked in a prophecy, destined to face a great evil. Can the cowardly, selfish trickster fulfill the said prophecy, and become the stallion everypony needs? (Inspired by 'Oz, The Great And Powerful'.)

The city is dark and a nightmare made out of concrete, wood, and steel. One mare must stand above all the corruption and put an end to it. But in a city of dastardly decadence, not everything is as it seems, and a team must be assembled in order to combat the evil that lurks in the underworld.

Removed the 'Tragedy' tag, because after reading the FAQ, I feel like I might be misrepresenting it with this story.

There are two sides to everything. Two sides of a coin, two sides to a pony's image, even two sides to meaning itself. But you never know which side is which, and you never know if there's more than just two sides.

Rainbow Dash does not wish to see this side anymore, but at the same time, she is always seeing this side. Which side is she fighting now? Is it all really happening, or is it all just a dream? Maybe it's her dream becoming reality. She doesn't know, but now, here she is, questioning a pegasus she doesn't trust in the slightest. The problem is, this pegasus has a very unstable mind that isn't just affecting her memory.

Regardless of what may happen, there is one thing Rainbow Dash refuses to deny. She will do anything to protect Fluttershy. She will make sure they get back home, no matter what.

Note: As this story has progressed, it's been receiving much less attention, with more dislikes and no feed back. Is there something I've been doing wrong with this story? I tried asking earlier, and all I got was an extra dislike.

A thousand years since Celestia's name has been spoken, and all memory of her warmth and light has faded away into the night. The sun goddess of old had been killed during a coup by her sister, Nightmare Moon.

In this world of unrelenting darkness, three ponies find a ray of light. Hope.

The Dragon Tree. Supposedly the birth place of dragonkind, the tree's sap is known in dragon lore as being a magical cure for just about any ailment or malady one could have.

When Rarity falls ill with a terminal virus to which there is no cure, Spike will have to brave the unknown reaches of the dragon homeland to search for the fabled lost tree in the hope that its sap can cure her.

Along with Zecora, he must battle foes he never imagined and prove his worth to the legendary guardians of the tree. Only then will he have a chance to save the one he loves.

Rated teen for some mature themes and occasional language.
