The Wonderbolts are Getting Better39 storiesThe Wonderbolts have NOT been portrayed as a good role model in the show. From "Rainbow Falls" with Spitfire and Fleetfoots betrayal to Soarin & possible cheating of the Friendship Games, to "Rarity Investigates" when the Wonderbolts accused Rainbow Dash of tricking Spitfire to leaving the airshow, it's not painting the Wonderbolts into a nice picture. As such, not everybody likes this military branch, and don't believe the characters when they say they learned their lesson or are a force that helps defend Equestria from hostile forces. However, they have been viewed as of late, not like jerks, or bullies, or incompetent military personnel. Whether it be stories that have the wonderbolts learn their lesson the hard way, stories with a slightly different ending, or complete rewrites of episodes involving the Wonderbolts, these fics are ones that portray the Wonderbolts in a better light than most of the episodes depicted them as. Because, hey, nobody's perfect, but at the very least, we can hope that they can improve someday.
