Yes. This new episode called “Opaline Alone” is as the name suggests. We get to see what Opaline does while waiting for Misty.
In my opinion, it’s surprisingly funny, although I’m not sure how I feel about how the writers used Opaline’s song. Let me know what you think of it.
I wrote chapter 2 of Danger of Foresight and I wasn’t pleased with the end result because it feels too close to the transcript for my liking. It would be nice if any of you shared your ideas for chapter 2. If you do have any ideas, send them to me via private messages please.
So, MLP Tell Your Tale Volume 3 has a musical track sung by Opaline. Yes, Opaline Arcana. The thing is, I noticed that the song actually might explore more about Opaline than we anticipated. We already know she’s apparently a Fire Alicorn, but we don’t know anymore than that and that she caused the divide, but we only know she caused the divide because she wanted magic all for herself, but we don’t know how she did it, although I think this song actually explains how she did it.
Since Chapter 3 on ‘Friends of a New Era’ will be a while, I’ll be writing another story about something I’ve been curious about ever since the idea had come to be which is if Discord had corrupted Rainbow by showing her, rather than Cloudsdale crumbling without her, he instead shown her being humiliated by Mare Do Well and finding out it was her friends and then Discord makes her loyal to him, but the butterfly effect of this would continue even after Discord is defeated. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Starlight and Spike. It made for really cute and touching friendshipping. The idea that it is initially too much for Spike until he realises that Starlight was just not sure he’d forgiven her was a nice reveal and made for a nice heart-to-heart conversation.
