Young inventor Twilight Sparkle has always been a creative mare, and that creativity is about to pay off in a world where she’ll uncover the existence of pegasi and unicorns, tribes long forgotten in Equestrian history, and ends up having to deal with the return of the legends of Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker.
Note: I know that a few people have done this, so I wanted to make a story of my own for if we’d gotten the Mane 6 as we saw them in the Gen 5 concept art and what I would do. Know that I did mix and match some concept art designs based on what I felt would work, and that I had to come up with Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker’s designs on my own.
Also, a surprise character will be joining the Mane 6 (making it rather the Mane 7). You’ll know who it is soon enough.
{My first fanfiction so knowing where think I can improve would be greatly appreciated, also, I started making this on the 31st July 2022}

Were the early designs of Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker really that different?

There weren’t any. I could only find fan art to use as a reference (well, for Nightmare Moon at least. Daybreaker was a different story. I.e, there wasn’t much of any, so I had to come with something much more original) and I felt it wouldn’t be very creative or original if I’d used their gen 4 designs rather than come up with designs of my own.
Thanks very much for getting this story started. And, yeah, I can understand not being that good at world-building. It's not one of my strong suits either. But still, the work on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are rather well done. Definitely liked the Mythology Gag of Twilight reading the story of the Fallen Sisters before going to test her glider as well as the dialogue with Applejack before that strong wind carried her miles off course and led to her first meeting with Rainbow and Pinkie. And the part about the three tribes sparkling where they are the most magical makes sense too. And, yeah, I could see why Twilight might be curious as what if any differences the Pegasus version of the book would have to the Earth ponies' version.
Anyway, definitely looking forward to more of this (especially for the possibility of the ponies eventually meeting non-pony species such as dragons, changelings, griffons, etc. [dragons in particularly as I would REALLY love to see the group befriending this universe's version of Spike]).

Also had some possible thoughts about an Earth Pony version of Shining Armor (Twilight's older brother) being Ponyville's sheriff (with Mac, Applejack's brother, being his deputy). Of course, he hasn't met Cadance yet because she is among one of the other two tribes.

Hey there. Thanks very much for getting the next chapter up. Definitely liked the work that went into the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. Definitely liked the details of Twilight mentally analyzing how fast Rainbow can fly, the use of the "Looking Out For You" song, Rainbow and Twilight's first meeting with Rarity, Applejack's first meetings with both Pinkie AND Fluttershy, the group all coming together AND making the realization that they all got their Cutie Marks at the same time due to the same event (which is a great Mythology Gag to "Cutie Mark Chronicles") and even the origin of Twilight's issues with quesadillas (yeah, makes sense that it would be a side-effect of a food fight, issues with ridicule afterwards AND the difficulty getting the melted cheese out of her mane) before getting into the cliffhanger with the jewel theft.
Definitely looking forward to more of this.
how did it happen that pegasi did not know about the existence of other peoples? Well, the earth ponies didn’t have the opportunity to take off and see what was behind the clouds, but didn’t the flying pegasi see what was on the ground? They didn't even live far from each other. Twilight literally just moved to another area and found pegasus. Are the pegasi here so reclusive that they had no desire to explore the world and they sat still all the time? Yes, even if so, they still had to go down to earth to replenish food supplies, because I doubt that trees with fruits can be grown on clouds.

I never said how far it was. If anything, she could’ve accidentally flown for miles. Also, the chapter set in Cloudsdale will go into more detail about how magic functions in this AU once I’ve finished it.
My only real nitpick is the tens usage
