Why make this kind of story? This is freakin' depressing.

*wipes tears away* Ok, better now. Seriously, you captured the post loss depression REALLY well, and the pointlessness of platitudes that many people feel when they hear them offered after such an event. As well as the idea of unfulfilled potential of such a young death.
For a story less then 1.5k words the emotions you achieved are fairly impressive as well.
