This could be spoilers so let's go:

the increase in strength of Spike causes his condition of his genophobia, thinks of him in the kindergarten until today cause of risk of life (this consequence of fear) made the body with a powerful thing always in the state of danger, so given that I believe that it is permanently the previous condition of accumulated years of stress and fear (Spike is very different from a normal dragon-blood in a calm or normal state when the normal dragon-blood is stressed or scared that causes the fights) and the coming to the female campus that shows Spike's abnormality will increase their strength and traumas in the body, even cured of the phobia yet the strength will not diminish.

It's probably something obvious, but I don't get it.

Before anyone asks, I can explain the disappearance; when the series ended , it kinda hurt the motivation. Little tricky to keep going when it came to an end.

That's completely understandable and okay.
Maybe you will find new motivation/inspiration once G5 is starting.
