The arbitrary set up isn't my style. Gonna have to leave a down-vote.
This is certinally interesting, a return to form of the standard magic human in Equestria story for sure but it was also far to rushed. It feels like you covered four chapters worth of events in one. Try slowing down the pace you've the story give the reader time to adjust to the new ideas and themes you are presenting. A work in progress to be sure, I will stick around to see how you undoubtedly improve with time.

So there is some things that dont belong naturally. Yes, I understand that is not the best thing but I feel the ability to become elder shouldn't have been cut from the game

I have noticed something.... anything negative has gotten at least one downvote on here...... also while this story starts vaguely and kinda out of nowhere...... well.... I can get why it would What I DON’T get is how this person is ANYWAY a human.... humans panic have emotions and 90% of them would freak out a lot more and many of us are so hard headed we would most likely be VERY angry and upset about one being falsely imprisoned and two being conscripted in an army of a nation that is not our own......
The pacing could use some work, and it seems like a few sentences are missing making the transition to each other feel forced.
