> Lost in Her Time of Need > by Okami1197 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > The Beginning and End? > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stories like mine normally begin with a noble cause, right? That’s what I thought also, but as it is fate is a cruel mistress. One minute I am a typical freshman in college, the next I am sitting in some medieval dungeon of sorts. All I really know is that whoever put me down here is going to pay. I like the medieval thing and all, but it is really annoying. I can hear the echo of what sounds like hooves on the cobblestone floor. Why would an animal be in here? I guess all I can do is wait and see. ***** A white unicorn guard in solar armor walks through the dungeons. As he walks, he checks the few prisoners that reside in the dungeon. At the end of the hall was the newest of the prisoners. The guard saw it was awake and quickly ran out the dungeons to the throne room of the Canterhorn Fort. In the throne room Princess Celestia sits on the throne, "Princess the prisoner has awakened, do you wish for me to bring it to you?" Celestia spreads her wings, "We would be grateful if thou would bring it to us." she responded. "Then I shall return momentarily with the prisoner." the guard left with haste and headed for the dungeons. ***** I stared blankly at the wall before me. I have been like this since the echoing stopped. It is strange, I can see the bars to my cell but no further almost like there is a piece of black cloth in the way. The echoing returned, but unlike last time they were getting closer. I stand and walk towards the cell door. I did not have to wait long before the darkness is replaced with a dimly lit hallway, and standing in said hallway is a white miniature unicorn in gold armor, "Well aren't you cute." I say mockingly. "Shut it Prisoner." he snapped causing me to jump back. Since when the fuck can any equine talk, "How the hell can you talk?" I ask. "I said quiet. The princess wishes to speak with you." the armored unicorn opened the door put restraints on me, "Follow me." I didn't really have a choice because he (I guess that it is a stallion) was pulling my restraints. I stayed quiet and let him lead me out the dark dungeons and into a bright hall. The walls are white with gold accents, "Keep moving." man is he starting to get annoying. He leads me to a pair of large double doors, that are flanked by two more miniature unicorns in gold armor, "The Princess wishes to speak with the Prisoner." the two flanking the doors pushed them open and allowed us to pass. The room, I'm guessing a throne room, had white pillars alongside the center isle that lead to what appeared to be a solid gold throne. On the throne sits a much larger version of the unicorn that brought me here. The only differences are that the large one is not wearing armor and has a crown, it has wings and a horn, and the things mane and tail were flowing fucking rainbows. What kind of drugs did they give me. There is no way that is natural, "Princess Celestia, here is the Prisoner." he said while practically kissing the ground. The horse thing sitting on the throne stands, "Thou may leave us Sargent. We hath many things to discuss with the Prisoner." I will take a leap of faith and say that horse is a mare. I never really paid attention to the Sargent when he spoke so I never heard him say who she was, and what the hell is with the Shakespearean English. Why does the Sargent speak normally but she don't? "As you wish." the Sargent leaves. I look at the mare before me. We both just stared at one another looking for signs of weakness. "Thou is most interesting. Tis not a word in any text about thy kind. What are thou?" did she really just ask what I am? Is there really no other humans here? Am I alone in this trippy ass world? "I am a human." I responded as calmly as possible. I am trying hard not to start freaking out. I can't be alone, there has to be others. "We hath never heard of humans." what is with that we. She is just one being, "Does thou hath any questions?" thank you for finally asking. "While I have many questions, I would like to start simple. Where am I and what are you?" I hope that I didn't cross any boundaries asking that. "Thou are in Equestria, and we are known as alicorns. *giggle*" what is going on, "Deepest apologies, but we hath forgotten our manners. Our name is Princess Celestia, and me along with my sister rule Equestria. What is thou name?" OK at least she is polite about things so far, "My name is Ōkami. It means wolf." I wasn't going to deny her knowing my name. I mean she introduced herself so it is the polite thing to do, right? "Ōkami? Thou has a most interesting name." the horn on her head started glowing a gold color and my restraints fell off, "Thou shall now be placed in service of the crown." Wait did she just draft me or something? "What will my job be?" I ask. "Thou shall be trained and then place as our personal guard. Once our sister wakes up to take her place holding court, thou will guard her." I am not even part of her country and she just fucking drafted me into working for her and her sister, what the hell. I guess it could be worse. "When shall my training start Princess?" I hope that I will be at least able to try and find a way home. "Thou shall start once we return to our castle in the Everfree. We shall be leaving shortly." so that is either good or bad. I thought that this was the castle, I mean the place is fancy and could definitely pass as one, "Tell us Ōkami what kind of weapon do you prefer?" So she will actually let me use the weapon of my choice. Looking at what they have I don't think that they have made guns yet so a sword would do, "I like long-swords and claymores. I would like to have a shield with the long sword." I was honest. I like the claymore because heavy hitters for the win, and the long-sword and shield are just for those moments when a claymore wont work. The Princess stares at me. Slowly a smile graces her lips, "While odd choices they will most likely be the best ones. Come, we shall return to the capital. Tis getting close to night, it wont be safe for travel soon." wait she is actually serious. I don't know why but I felt like she was joking with me. She walks/trots to me, "If thou would please follow us." she lead the way out the throne room and towards a pair of extremely large doors, "Our chariot waits outside Ōkami." I nodded and followed her as we approached a white chariot that is attached to two miniature pegasus. We left the ground not long after we were settled. The ride was honestly quite pleasant to say the least. "So Princess Celestia, is there anything I should know before I meet your sister?" I asked. "Just don't insult the night and you will be fine. She is extremely passionate when it comes to it." she responds with a smile. Well at least I know that. We flew over a large forest and in the center is a large stone castle. We landed in what I assume is the courtyard, "Follow me and I will show you where we shall be dinning when my sister wakes." wait did she just talk normally? The hell. "I have a question." I said as we started walking, "What was with the we stuff when you were talking about just you?" I hope she don't get mad. She started to laugh, "Me and my sister call it the Royal we. When we are doing our royal duties it is how we speak. It is to show that me and her are one when it comes to the law." that actually made sense. The hall of the castle were not nearly as flashy as the other place. Everything was plain stone with a rug running down the center. Every so often there is a banner and torches, but other than that there is nothing, "I hope that thou will be comfortable living here with us. All the staff that resides in the castle who are not guards are mares. We will try an make it as comfortable as possible for thou, so long as thou don't take advantage of being one of the few males here." "Trust me, it will be a while before I try to have any form of a relationship here. Back home it was illegal to have that kind of relationship with non-humans. So I may never actually be able to do that." my response made her frown, "Don't be sad. I was never really close to anyone back home, so this won't be to much different." "What about your family?" "They hated me. The only reason I was even born was because they didn't believe in killing babies before they are born. Growing up they constantly threatened me with military school or an orphanage. The only time I was happy was when I had a few friends, but they abandoned me not long after we finished high school." I could feel a tear slowly ran down my cheek, "In my mind I have no family." she suddenly pulled me into a hug. I was not expecting that at all. "How old are you?" she asked into my ear. Why did she want to know how old I was? "Twenty." was all I said before she squeezed me harder. I could hear hoof steps getting closer. "Sister, why are thou just standing there and holding something?" a younger more teenish female voice asked. "For twenty years they treated him like dirt Luna." she cried. Why is she crying about this? It didn't happen to her. "Who treated who like dirt sister?" the younger one asked. "Ōkami's family treated him horribly since he was born." that's it. I pushed Celestia off of me and I slapped her. I slapped one of the rulers of a nation. She looked at me in shock, "I am sorry I did that, but I am tired of people or ponies crying over this. I have come to accept it. Yes it makes me sad to think of, but it happened and nothing can change that." I could finally see the blue alicorn, who I presume is Luna. She is about half the height of Celestia, who I just noticed that is about a six inches shorter than me, "If it is all the same to you, I'd like to eat something." Celestia looked at Luna and saw the confusion in her face, "I shall tell thou what he told me later." at least I don’t have to repeat anything, "Shall we go eat then?" Both me and Luna looked at her, "Please!" we both practically yelled at the same time causing Celestia to chuckle nervously. Me and Luna nod at each other and start walking away from Celestia. "So, what kind of food is there here?" I ask. "The chef will make thou almost anything." Luna responds as we round a corner, "Thou is most interesting." really. Her and her sister have both fucking said that, "I would like to ask if thou has ever been stargazing?" finally something normal. "Yeah. I actually used to love staring out into the night. Something about it comforts me in a way that the sun never could." Lena's face darkened a little. Did I make her blush? "Tis nice to finally meet someone other than myself that likes the night. Most hide and cower during the night. It makes me so mad." Luna started turning black as she spoke, "They all worship my sister and her precious day. They normally run scared when they see me." "Some just don't understand true beauty. Don't let what they do get you down. The night is wonderful and don't let anyone say I anything different." her coat returned to normal. I don't know what was happening but whatever it was it is over. ***** Over the next few weeks I studied Equestrian history and practiced my swordsmen ship. I am now on duty whenever Luna is in court saying that most threats are made to her. During my studies and training I have watched her get distant and overly aggressive. It seems like I am the only one she talks to now. Currently I am standing in the throne room with my standard claymore on my back, a bastard long-sword on my side, and a kite shield on my left arm. Other than that I am just in blue jeans, boots, and a t-shirt, "Ōkami, I need thou to stay out of what will be happening soon." Luna said. What is she talking about and why does she suddenly sound remorseful, "What ever happens do not get between my sister and I." OK what is going on. Before I can really think on what she said Celestia stormed into the throne room, "Luna lower the moon!" why is she yelling. Luna started cackling, "Dear sister," What happened to her voice. She sounds so much older now, "We shall never lower it. It shall be night eternally. Our little ponies will learn to love us and our night." seriously what is going on. "Luna...." "That name is so childish. My name is Nightmare Moon! NOW BE GONE!" Nightmare, I guess, shot a beam of pure magic at Celestia. Celestia created a golden shield and deflected the beam destroying parts of the throne room. Celestia spread her wings and shot into the air before she fired a beam of magic at her sister. Ignoring what I was told I let my training kick in and I jumped in front of Luna with my shield raised. The beam hit my shield and it broke. There was a searing pain throughout my body as I started to stiffen up. I looked at Luna/Nightmare Moon and I saw a tear in her eye as her normally midnight blue body shifted to black and armor appeared, "THOU WILL PAY FOR HURTING ŌKAMI!" after that everything went dark. I couldn't feel, hear, or smell anything. Slowly my mind shut down and I slipped into a slumber. > I Hate My Life > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It has been over a thousand years since Ōkami was turned to stone and Luna sealed in the moon. Celestia did her best to rule the nation alone. Her student Twilight Sparkle has moved to a small town called Ponyville after making five friends and defeating Nightmare Moon returning Luna to Equus. Although she is weak, Luna makes strides in returning to her royal duties. The only thing is that she is more distant than ever. ***** Celestia walks to Luna’s bedroom door. Without knocking she quietly opens the room and slowly walks in. The only thing that could be heard was the crying of a midnight blue alicorn. Luna’s sobs started to quiet as she looked at Celestia, “Why did you have to turn him to stone sister?” she asked. Her eyes were bloodshot and her coat stained with tears, “What did he ever do to you?!” Celestia stepped back. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to do that to Ōkami. He was my friend to. If it helps, he is in the castle gardens. I placed him there when this became the capital.” Celestia left the room as tears started to form. She had buried the regret under all of her work, but that conversation brought it all up to the surface. Luna watched Celestia leave and then she went to her balcony. The view was beautiful but she didn’t care for it. Luna spread her wings and jumped. She glided to the gardens in search of her friend. She didn’t have to look long, Ōkami stood there with his swords in their proper places and a shocked look on his face. Luna grabbed him with her magic and flew back to her tower, “I will bring you back. I need someone other than my sister who knew me back then.” the flight was short, Luna placed the statue on her bed and started searching through her ancient tombs for a spell to reverse petrification. She had almost gave up hope, a few hours had past since she started before she finally found the spell. She quickly read it over and started casting. The effect was almost instantaneous. Pieces of stone fell from his body revealing the clothes he wore all those years ago. Slowly his body began to move as it forced the thousand year old air out his system. He started to violently cough, and Luna used her magic to pull him to her, “Ōkami can you hear me?” ***** Suddenly I could feel again but it was hard to enjoy it when I started coughing uncontrollably, “Ōkami can you hear me?” a calm familiar voice asks. Why does everything hurt?, “Please answer me Ōkami. I need you.” I slowly opened my eyes and see Luna holding me close, “Luna……....Where am I, and why does everything hurt?” I mean it fucking hurts. I feel like a car ran me over as a train hit the car. “Ōkami, you are in Canterlot Castle, and as for why you hurt,” she took a deep breathe, “You have been trapped in stone for the past thousand or so years.” OK I officially hate everything, and how the hell is Luna still alive. “Just a question how are you still alive?” “Oh, Celestia and I are immortal in a way. We can’t die from old age, but disease and other forms of death still affect us.” she explained. “Alright this is all crazy, but I guess it is how it has to be. So do I have my old job back?” “Yes, but I think you looked better with a shield.” her horn lit and she floated a kite shield over to us. The shield had silver tracing the edges while the center was midnight blue, “I was going to give it to you once you had finished your training, but I had started forcing everyone away.” Before she could start mopping I pulled her into a hug, “I love it Luna, but let's get out of your room before your sister shows up. I don’t need to deal with that right after getting woke up.” she nods in agreement and stands. I place my hand on her back to help me get to my feet, “I remember you being bigger than this?” “I was, but at the moment I only hold a fraction of my power. I can only return to my old size nce it has all returned.” “Alright. Lead the way.” Luna started down a small staircase to a pair of double doors. She opened the doors and we walked out into a familiar white hallway. We didn’t talk as we walked through the halls towards wherever she is leading me. I start to smell food and my mouth begins to water, literally, and Luna giggles at me. There is a pair of large doors in front of us. Luna pushes them open and steps in causing all conversation that was happening in the room stop. I hesitantly follow her into the room receiving gasps from just about everyone. I looked at the table before me. The table was covered in dishes of large varieties. The only one I recognized was the large steak that had a few pieces cut off. In the chairs around the table sits majority ponies with three gryphons, I guess, and at the head sits Celestia herself. She has yet to look up and acknowledge me and Luna, almost like she was in autopilot. Suddenly six guards separated me from Luna, “Put your weapons on the ground monster!” one of the guards said as they all pointed spears at me. I looked at Luna and she was furious. The only problem is she doesn't look intimidating, she looks adorable. I look at Celestia to see that she finally looked up and looks horrified. I decided to play a little game, “Ladies and gentleman, it is time for your entertainment.” I pulled my bastard long-sword out its sheath, “But first the guards need to hear the rules. Since it wouldn’t be fair if I actually let loose.” I threw my sword up and it stuck into the roof, “Now all I will be allowed to do is use my shield.” one of the guards looked at me with a cocky grin. “This thing believes he is a match for six of us guards without a weapon. We were trained by our captain to protect Princess Celestia.” I looked at Luna and saw small sparks shooting off her horn, “Plus we have the best enchanted armor around.” he walked up to me and went to jab me in the chest with his hoof. I grabbed his hoof and swung him around hitting the other guards off their feet. “You see. There is one thing you messed up on.” I said holding him close to my face, “You assumed that I had no training other than with my swords, and you thought your training was superior to mine.” I looked at Celestia, “Celestia, was that a new record for my sparring match time?” At this point Luna calmed down and fell over laughing, “Ōkami I believe that it is, but these guards are undertrained compared to what you're used to.” I sighed and tossed the guard to the side, “It is nice to see you again by the way.” Luna was still rolling on the ground, “Should we help her or will she be fine?” I don't know what she thinks is so funny, but I honestly don't care. “she’ll be fine. Why don't you go and sit in the chair next to her chair.” Celestia pointed at a chair next to a large purple chair. “Sounds good.” I strolled over at sat down. All eyes were on me for some reason, “Why is everyone staring at me Celestia? Even the assholes you used to keep as guards didn't stare this much.” this brought forth more laughter from Luna. Every eye in the room shot back to their food except for Celestia’s, “That is much better. So how have things been Celestia?” she eyed me for a bit too long, “What? Did you expect me to do something to you for turning me to stone all those years ago?” she nodded. Well shit, “I'm not alright. I promised Luna that I'd be nice.” Celestia sighed, “That is good to hear Ōkami, and I have been fine. I am glad to see Luna laughing again. It is both a sight and sound that I have missed greatly the past thousand years.” “Glad I could help, but why was she the one who freed me? Why didn't you do it?” and the stares are back. Fuck this shit. I stood up as politely as possible, by practically throwing my chair into the wall causing everyone to jump, “I'm going for a walk. Luna would you like to join me?” she nodded her head to answer me since she was still on the ground laughing. I helped her up, which caused me to receive gasps all around the room. I then stomped on the ground twice and my sword fell. I caught it and put it back in its sheath. Me and Luna left not long after. ***** Luna finally calmed down after we walked for a few minutes, “Sounds was it necessary to be that mean to those guards?” I look at her, “Yeah it was. They were cocky. I don't like cocky people.” “Yes I do remember that. It was one of the reasons why I chose you over one of the more experienced guards. Plus I also remember how much you love to stargaze.” I chuckle, “What's so funny?” “Nothing. I was just remembering that the first normal thing to happen was when you asked if I like to stargaze. After that we were almost inseparable when we were awake.” I feel like I should be remembering something else. Eh I'll figure it out later, “So Luna, how have you been since I was turned to stone?” The face Luna made was one that mixed pain and regret, “Well, you see I have only just returned myself.” “Like a thousand year vacation?” “No. More like a prison. I was locked on the moon.” tears started to form on her face. Shit what the fuck did I just do. “Luna please don’t cry.” I hardly had time to brace for when she buried her face into my chest and started to cry. We stayed like that for what seemed like forever. A few guards passed and paid us little mind seeing as not much has change in which Princess the guards like. I started to get worried when Luna got quiet. I slowly pulled her head off my chest and saw that she was asleep. I picked her up and and started walking in the direction of her room, “I really wish this was the old castle. At least then I would know if I was walking in the correct direction.” “If you want I can lead you to her room.” a female voice said from behind me, causing me to jump. I turn around and see a purple mare with a dark blue mane and tail. Her cutie mark was a full moon with a storm in front of it, “My name is Midnight Storm.” she spread her wings. Her fucking bat wings. Alright since when was there vampire ponies. She must have saw me eyeing her wings, “Before you ask i am not a vampony. I am a thestral. We are the nocturnal cousins of the pegasus. Now let's get Mistress Luna to her bed chambers.” Mistress? Ok I am confused now. I follow Midnight to Luna’s bedroom. When we get there I look at Midnight and waved farewell only she didn’t return the motion, “I’m not leaving. Thestrals are in service to Mistress Luna. She goes nowhere without at least one of us with her. You may leave once you place her in the bed.” “I’m not leaving. It has been my duty to protect Luna since before you were born. Even if most of it was spent in stone.” I am starting to not like her. I place Luna down on her bed and I stand next to the balcony door. I looked outside and saw that the moon was peeking over the horizon as the sun set, “The beauty of the night shines on me once again.” I say not caring if Midnight is still in the room or not. I stood looking over the city under the beautiful expanse that is the night sky. My eyes locked onto some shadowy creature. I wouldn't have paid it much attention other than the fact that is chasing some ponies down the street. I sighed and looked below the balcony and saw the pond in the castle gardens. I smiled as I backed away from the balcony rail. Once far enough back in ran for and vaulted over the rail and dived into the pond. I swore I heard an eagle when I did it but it is not important. I landed in the water and quickly made my way over to the edge. Once out I started running, pushing anyone who was in my way. I think I even pushed Celestia into a cake cart. Ahead of me was the group of guards that I embarrassed earlier. They all lowered spears at me as I ran towards them. I grabbed the front of two of the spears and lifted myself over them, “Sorry but don't have time to deal with wannabe guards at the moment!” I yelled as I kept running. Once I was out the castle grounds it was not hard to find the trail left by the creature. I followed the trail and found it cornering a foal. A fucking foal. Why does everything go after foals. The thing had a large sword and a hole in its chest in the shape of a heart, “Hey, ugly!” I yelled to pull its attention to me so the foal can run, “Come pick on someone your own size!” I drew my bastard long-sword and got into a fighting stance. The creature must have accepted my challenge because it was slowly flying circles around me. It lunged forward and swung it's large sword down. I raised my shield and blocked its attack, but my shield started to break. While it was stunned from hitting my shield I slashed at its side. When my sword made contact with its side it shattered, “Well this is just fucking gre-” the creature hit me with the flat of its sword like a baseball bat. I flew into one of the shops. I slowly stood and dropped my useless shield. I pulled my claymore from my back and prepared for another attack. > Interesting Revelations > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ōkami stood ready with his claymore, the Invisible charged him only to be knocked aside by a man dressed in a blue hoodie, jeans, blond hair with red eyes… and with a large sword that looked like two giant keys crossed with a blade shooting out from between them. “Need a hand?” He asked as he, and a silver haired woman ran to his side. “That would be great. This thing shattered my other sword.” Ōkami responded as the Invisible slowly got back up. Ōkami saw the woman summon a key that was like the two that were crossed on the man’s weapon, but it was just the one. “So, you wanna try that trick again Zeke?” She asked. “Let’s hope it will work.” The man, Zeke said. “So what exactly is going on here?” Ōkami asked dumbfounded by the duo’s weapons. “Explain later, keep the thing still for a moment now.” Zeke said as he went in for an attack, side swiping the creature into a tree. He stabbed the ip of his weapon into the creature. “Reject Darkness!” A flash of light flowed from his weapon into the monster. It’s colors brightened and it gained white stripes around it’s body. Zeke sighed. “Good, it worked.” Ōkami looked at Zeke, “Ok what is going on? I take a thousand year nap in stone and suddenly there is two more humans with weird keywords.” Zeke looked over at Ōkami. “As the lovely lady said, I’m Zeke, and she’s my wife Unum. And… wait, you seriously have no idea what the Heartless or Keyblades are?” “Not a clue. Granted I don’t remember most of my life before I came here. The name is Ōkami by the way.” “Nice to meet you. And did you say ‘a thousand year nap’?” “Yeah. Luna and Celestia started a magic fight and I blocked a blast ment for Luna.” he responded like it was a common thing. “Oh… odd. So, you from earth also?” “Yeah.” “Then you my friend, must have had a rough landing.” Zeke says. “God sent everyone else with weapons and abilities for us to survive… You have no idea what I’m talking about… do you?” “Nope, not a clue. I woke up in the Canterhorn dungeons when i first got here.” Ōkami explained. “Oh. Well I guess I should explain some things. First off, do you remember that whole mayan calendar crap?” “Yeah. That superstitious crap.” “Well it was a test from ‘god’ to see how humanity would react… we failed with a spectacular show of raiding, war, bloodshed, etc. Those that didn’t give into the chaos and stuff, God plucked us up, and sent us to his reality where everything that’s fiction is real, because as it turned out, earth and humanity only lived in his head.” Ōkami’s jaw dropped, “Well, I wonder why I don’t remember anything.” “Maybe you hit your head on the landing? Meh, anyway. Point I’m making here is that shit’s happened, and shit’s gonna go down. God’s brother is trying to kill everything, typical bad guy crap, he’s can one shot a planet into a genocide…. Only Unum here can match his power, but he’s got all his reflections from the multiverse, the Heartless, and a shit ton of baddies from earth he managed to pick up for support.” “Well shit. I would kick myself from one side this universe to the other if I didn’t offer to help you. So where do I sign up?” Ōkami said “Great.” Zeke held out his hand, and a Silver keysword, different than the one he or Unum has, appeared. “Two Become One? Oh right… reflections.” He tossed it to Ōkami. “Yours to keep, train with, travel to other worlds with, the whole ten yards.” Ōkami caught it, “It’s lighter than it looks.” he also gave it a few test swings. “Everyone get that reaction. Imagine how I felt when I first picked this thing up.” He held up his sword. “It’s called the X-blade… and let’s just say it’s power is largely unmatched, but I’ve yet to unlock it.” “Well what is this type of weapon called? I don’t want to keep calling it a keysword.” “A Keyblade. Unlocks anything, destroys or gives darkness, depends on the wielder, and sets you free from the shackles of one world. And reflection.” “Ok. Also, I just want to say this now, when you see God again ask him to come talk to me. You would think that he would have at least done something when I was stoned for a thousand years.” “That must have been quite the joint.” Zeke jokes. “Yeah it was. Celestia made it herself.” Ōkami joked back. The two laughed. “Well, this meeting went better than others have before. So, given that there’s Heartless here… Oh right.” Zeke helped the creature back up. “You alright?” “Yes.” The creature spoke, an elderly woman's voice came from it. “That was quite the experience.” “You know I feel I forgot about someone.” Ōkami started looking around ignoring Zeke for the moment. Ōkami practically punched himself in the face, “I forgot about Luna. Crap!” Luna glided down and landed next to Ōkami, “You know for a personal guard you suck at you job.” she looks at the other two humans and the creature, “What are you, and who are you two?” she asked. “I’m Unum, this is my husband Zeke, and the lady here is… Nana?” “Nana?” Zeke asked with a ‘really’ look. “I like it.” Nana said. “Does that mean I’ll be a nanny?” “Sure…” Zeke said. Well, a Purified Invisible would be good to look after the kids anyway. He thought to himself. Luna and Ōkami looked at Nana. Luna then looked at Zeke and Unum, “Well, I am Princess Luna of Equestria, and this is my personal body guard Ōkami, who needs to learn not to run off without me.” “It’s an honor Princess.” Zeke said as he and Unum bowed. “Just a question, how did you pacify the Invisible and make it Nana?” “Well… I just learned how earlier today. Pureblood Heartless don’t have hearts, they’re just normally darkness in a physical form. The X-blade has a unique ability, Reject Darkness, that when stabbed into the heart, shoots a bolt of pure light into the target to either force out the darkness in their heart, or balance it out. But when I decided to see what it would to against something from darkness without a heart… this happens. They get organs, a heart, sentient, they’re alive now.” “Oh. So basicly you can play God with the Purebloods.” Luna said. “Please don’t say it like that. Being X’s wielder already places me on a high pedestal I don’t want.” “Ok we won’t do that.” Ōkami said, “Back onto the topic if you giving me the keyblade. Is there anything I should know about being the wielder of one? Like could I give some to others or can only you do that?” “There is a special oath you can perform that transfers to power to wield a Keyblade to another, but I don’t really remember it.” “Well maybe when God comes talk to me he can tell me how to do it. Once I figure out how I plan to form a guard specifically to guard this world from heartless.” Ōkami said. “I can tell you now.” Everyone turned and saw an elderly man in a grey suit. “Long time no-” Zeke rushed in and punched him in the face, sending God flying into some nearby bushes. “Are you going to do that every time we meet?!?” “Yes.” Zeke replied. “I don’t even want to know.” Luna said. “I do though.” Ōkami said. “When I asked for the X-blade, God said that with that, and the ability to control Heartless, I couldn’t have magic. I have a means around that now, but because I couldn't cast a healing spell on myself, I was shot and bleeding out. Clearly I survived, but still.” “So you punch him when you see him. Makes sense.” Ōkami added. “Anyway.” God said as he got back up. “Long time no see Ōkami.” “Don’t know what you’re talking about. I never met you before.” “Of course not. Your only request when I picked you up was to start completely fresh, no memory on how you got here or why. So, I did as you asked. Now that Zeke here has met you, I felt you could be told now.” “Ok. Any Chance that you would return all my memories to me? I have holes in what I can remember.” “You asked me to remove them, something about finding them for yourself. So I did.” God pulled out a Blue card with Ōkami’s face on it. “This is one of twenty, here’s your freebie.” He said, tossing the card to Ōkami. Ōkami caught the card and it flashed then vanished, “You know. I hate games like this but since this is how you are going to be, I’ll play along. By the way I don’t like how you kept her name and face from me. I know what she looks like but I can’t remember her name.” “This is what you asked for, I just obliged.” “Smart ass.” “By the way, once you remember her name things will change. You will find her but she will be broken, no thanks to my brother.” God added. “Broken how?” Ōkami asked. “I can not say.” “Your no help, you know that right.” God nods. “If Core got to… whoever you’re talking about… then she likely is corrupted by the darkness he and all his followers place themselves with.” Zeke states. Darkness starts to flow from Ōkami, “I will tear him to shreds if her hurt her. She was the only good thing I had on Earth.” he seethed. “Dude! Control that darkness or Core will show up! Trust me when I say… he toys with us.” Luna quickly turned and bucked Ōkami in the back sending him into the same building that Zeke hit God into. When Ōkami got up he was back to normal, “What just happened?” he asked. “You lost your temper, had your darkness manifesting, almost summoned Core right to us… could have gotten yourself killed. Need I go on?” Ōkami hung his head, “No. By the way, Gd can you write down how to give others keyblades? I would forget if you didn’t.” “Sure. Knew I kept that scroll for a reason.” He said as he pulled out a rolled up piece of aged paper and handed it to Ōkami. “True that there are enough Keyblades for everyone, but be careful in who you select.” “Thank you, and I will. Last thing I would need would be somebody running around destroying this world with a weapon and training I gave them.” “Well, I’ll be off. Zeke, good luck, Ōkami, kiss the mare already you pansy!” WIth that, God faded into the air as Zeke and Unum were laughing. Ōkami’s keyblade hit the wall behind where God was standing, “ASS!” he yelled hoping he was heard. “It does look like Luna likes you with how red her face turned.” Zeke said, causing Ōkami to see how red Luna was himself. Ōkami then turned to Zeke, “You know, it makes sense for that to be true, but I don’t know how to feel about it yet. Yes I would like to have a family here but I still don’t know when I will be ready.” Luna looked at the ground in disappointment. “You are never ready for anything life throws at you. Flat out truth. I already have sixteen amazing wives, five newborn babies, and several adopted kids I love to death. And now a nanny…” “Sixteen wives!” Ōkami yelled. “Population difference.” Unum says. “Before events happened, there was a fifty mare to stallion ratio, so a male was allowed up to sixteen wives.” “It is not uncommon for a stallion or human in your case to have more than one wife Ōkami. Here it is about four to one ratio of mares to stallions.” Luna said still beat red. “I’ll say it again Ōkami, life is never clear, so would you rather live on wondering when the time is right, or live it now, and enjoy the ride?” “I guess you’re right, but since the population ratio is so screwed up I guess I should watch out.” Said Ōkami as Luna kissed him. “I couldn’t resist anymore.” she said sheepishly. “A rather good night you made Luna.” Zeke says, looking up. “How’d you get the stars to bright?” “Thank you. Sadly I haven't really been in tune with the night like I was before my fall to darkness, but I am getting back to there.” “Still looks good, Nana here, your night, they’re proof light and Darkness can co-exist… just with the ones who soly prefer Darkness could see it that way…” “I agree. I still hear the Nightmare sometimes and she hates the light in my heart” “You can never run from your past.” Unum said. “You can only accept what’s happened, and move to the futur. That’s what I did, with Zeke’s help.” “That is why I have Ōkami. He made everything easier even though he has only been back for the past couple hours.” “Well, have fun you two. Take it fast or slow… however you prefer.” Zeke said as a large door of light appeared behind him and Unum. “Just have fun with it.” “We will.” Ōkami responded. Zeke and Unum walked into the door of light, followed by Nana, and it closed as they entered, leaving Luna and Ōkami alone together. Luna looked at Ōkami, “I hope my sister don't have any complaints. Like she did when I wanted to build a snowpony.” > Pain > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- After Zeke, Unum, and Nana left, me and Luna were strolling through the streets of Canterlot, "So Luna, how long have you had feelings for me?" I asked. "Well, I think it first started when you were talking about the night sky when we first met." I thought back and remembered how I practically praised the night. "That makes sense. So what do you think Celestia will say?" I asked as we walked onto the castle grounds. "Honestly I don't know or care. I only said that to try and get a laugh. I'm curious." "About?" "Well if we get married and I keep my place as royalty would we become king and queen? I mean I probably won't keep the title so we can live a simple life but it is still an interesting thought." that actually made sense. "That would probably be a good idea." I put my hand on her back, "I don't think Celestia would appreciate us taking over the country." it would be funny though. Me and Luna walked through the halls of Canterlot Castle, my hand still on her back. Every guard we passed gave me a dirty look, some even looked at me in envy. I will have to ask Celestia about that one later. Even though it is late, the castle staff is still running around getting things done. The main difference between day and night life in the castle is the increase of thestral ponies, "Luna what is the story behind the thestrals?" "Well, I really don't know. I never knew about them until one came to me after I returned from the moon. Instead of calling me Princess Luna they say Mistress." "Oh. I though you might have had some sort of impact on them for that to happen, but I guess that being the one who controls the moon has that effect then." we approached the throne room. I ignored the guards trying to stop me from opening the doors, "Out my way." was all I said as I pushed the two aside before kicking the doors open, "Honey, I'm home!" I don't know why I did that. It just seemed like fun. "Ōkami, I would appreciate if you didn't kick my doors open for no reason." Celestia said coldly. Man she must be tired. I wonder when she slept last. "I have a reason to be here. The hole kicking the door open was because your guards are still little pricks and are butt hurt because I called them wannabe guards, since they can't fight worth a crap." I responded, "Ok Luna do your thing. I think she will take it better from you." Luna sighed adorably, "Sister as of this day I am stepping down fro my role as Princess. I wish to pursue a life away from royalty, and have a family. If I am needed for some reason I will come for that only." "And just who do you plan on having a family with? None have approached us with anything to even consider a relationship." Celestia snapped. "Well you see," I started, "If you would actually pay attention to your guards reactions when you walk by, I think you would realize that any one of them would court you or your sister." Celestia was glaring at me. This is so much fun. I can mess with her and her not do anything for once, "But if you would also pay attention to your sister you would see that she as already chosen someone who would, and already has tried, to give their life for her." I could practically see the gears turning in Celestia's head. She looked at Luna then to me. "No." was all she said. "Was not asking your permission. You cannot stop us. If we wanted to we could marry right now and you would no longer be the leader of this country, but instead Luna is leaving it behind because she don't want to take that from you." the dark mist is back but just not as strong as last time. "Get that dark magic out of my throne room." Celestia growled. I took a deep breath and calmed myself down, "You really are dense." I turned and started walking away. I put my hands in my pockets, "Come on Luna lets go look for a place to stay. Your sister don't want us it seems." Luna quickly ran up to me and followed me out. "Ōkami, why did you get so mad back there?" "I got mad because instead of being happy for us and the fact that we actually told her to her face, she tried to take control of your life like she is your mother. Froom what I have heard no one alive knows your parents and there is no mention of them in the history books." I responded. She did not respond, and stayed quiet as we walked out the castle and towards the train station, "Any ideas on where to go?" "Only one. It is a little town called Ponyville." she responded, "The only problem is that my sister likes to make regular visits there." "Eh. If she don't like our choices o'well. Let's get on our way, I don't want to be in this city anymore." me and Luna walked over to the ticket booth. After a moment of Luna explaining that she is no longer royalty, and him apologizing, we got on our way. The train ride it self was longish. We left Canterlot around midnight and pulled into the train station at Ponyville. Me and Luna exited the train side by side, "This is a nice little town." "Let's get to the town hall before everyone wakes up. I don't want to be the center of attention until I get some sleep. That power nap earlier only helped me a little." Luna started jogging through town and I followed. With the town being so small it did not take long to arrive at the tall building in the center of town, "We are here." she said as she pushed the door open and slowly walked in. I followed her closely, not sure what to expect, "I hope Mayor Mare is awake." we walked up some stairs and Luna knocked. Some stumbling was heard inside as some objects fell to the ground. The door creeped open at first then it swung open revealing a cream colored mare with a white, almost grey, mane and tail, "Princess Luna!" she bowed making me and Luna hit ourselves in the face, "What do I owe the pleasure of your visit?" "Mayor Mare, please stand. I am no longer a princess of Equestria. I have relinquished my title last night. Me and my, how would you say it?" Luna asked looking at me. "For humans I would be call you boyfriend, in pony terms I think it is coltfriend. Not entirely sure about that though." I answered. "Yes, me and my boyfriend Ōkami wish to acquire a home in your town." "Oh, uh." the mayor looked at us, "We have some property in between the town and the Everfree forest." "That sounds good to me." I said, "Is that good with you?" I ask Luna. "That is fine. How long till a home can be built there?" she asks the mayor. "I'd say a week or two depending on how big you want it to be, but until then you are more than welcome to stay here at the Town Hall." she responded. I looked at her for a moment, "Alright. So who do we go talk to design the house?" "Just wait here and I will go and get Strong Hammer." the mayor left the room leaving me with Luna. ***** So the week and a half went by without anything of interest happening. The news of Luna no longer being a princess has made its way into the news for just about every town. No one bothered us while we were at the Town Hall, and surprisingly enough, they offered me a job as a night guard captain for the town. I had accepted on the condition that I could hand pick my guards. No one other than the mayor and other Town Hall staff knew that Luna was here, but since today is moving day that will change quickly. I stood looking out the balcony of our room, "Luna is our stuff packed?" "Yes it is." she responded as she approached my side. Since leaving Canterlot her magic has started returning at a much faster rate. She now stands close to Celestia's height, only being short a few inches, "Are you ready to go?" "Yeah. I jus wanted to look out over the town one more time." me and Luna turn and head out our room and walk to the balcony that rest above the main room of the Town Hall. Most of the town's ponies have gathered inside for a town meeting. Me and Luna walk up behind the Mayor, causing what little conversation that is happening to stop, "Ponies of Ponyville, you know me as the Captain of your Night Guard, but I come to you today as just Ōkami. Me and Luna have recently moved here, and have bought the land next to the Everfree." "As I am sure you have all heard, I am no longer a princess of Equestria. I gave up my title so I could live among all of you and not have to worry about the complexity that is our government. I d not want to be treated any different from any of you." Luna smiled as she finished her part. Suddenly a pink pony started jumping up and down with a large smile on her face, it honestly gave me chills. Said pony shot out the Town Hall at an unreal speed. Slowly ponies started to leave. I turned to the Mayor, "I will be seeing you later. I think it is time for me and Luna to go see our new home." "Very well. Don't forge to do your rounds." that was all she said before she left. Me and Luna left the Town Hall after we gathered our belongings, mainly just clothes for me. The walk through town was peaceful enough, even though we got a few weird looks from some of the ponies we passed. Once we left the town proper our house came into view. It was a simple two story home with the typical styling of the other homes in the town, the main difference was the smithy on the side of the house, "It came out pretty well." Luna mussed as we walked closer to the house. I open the door and let Luna walk in first. Once inside I saw the empty living room, "It is nice in here also, a little empty, but nice." I said as I walked through the room and into the kitchen, then to the study. Luna went up the stairs to see the bedrooms. After finding the downstairs bathroom I followed her. There is three bedrooms other than the master, and two bathrooms. In the master bedroom there is a walk in closet and a large bathroom. I looked at the large bed in the master bedroom, "Why am I not surprised that they gave us the bed." "Because life hates you." a voice said from behind me. I spun around and saw a man with a mask on. "Who are you?!" I ask getting into a defensive stance. "My name is Core, but you have heard that before haven't you. I have come to show you something." a portal like Zeke's opened, only this one was black, and a woman stepped out of it, "She has been waiting to see you, even though I told her it was a waste of time." "Ōkami!" she yelled before running to me. She pulled me into a hug. She has long straight black hair and fair skin. She was wearing jeans, a black tank-top, and a pair of simple black cowgirl boots, "What happened? Why did you leave me?" she cried into my chest. It hurt so much. It hurt that I couldn't remember her name. I am starting to really fucking hate God right now. Why did he have to male me getting my memories back into a fucking game, "God chose me and others to leave Earth." "Ōkami, is that the girl you talked about?" Luna asked as she looked at the crying girl in my arms. "Yeah it is. Now you see why I am so pissed that I can't remember my life before I came here." after I said that she pushed me away. "Wait you can't remember me? We were together for five years and you forgot!" she brought her fist back and tried to punch me in my face, "I never want to see you again!" the dark portal opened up again and she ran through. "That was just great." Core laughed, "The amount of darkness that is in her heart is amazing!" "Luna. Leave." I growled I didn't care what was going to happen. I let my rage come forward, and darkness started to radiate off my body, "I will tear you to shreds!" I summoned Two Become One and charged forward. Every swing I made he blocked with his hand, "STOP BLOCKING AND LET ME KILL YOU!" I yelled. "How can you remain in control with that much pure darkness flowing through your body?" Core asked as he continued to block my attacks. My vision went black for a second but when it came back everything had a yellowish tint. I jumped back and went further than I thought I would, "Interesting. So you can achieve anti-form. That makes a little bit of sense." I charged him again at a much greater speed and started swiping at him, "Would you be so kind as to not be annoying." Core said right before he kicked me in the face, sending me to the floor, "I will tell you this once, I will be back. I will take everything from you. If you would have sided with me then I would have let your world survive, but you sided with my brother." with that he kicked me in the chest causing me to go back to normal, "Oh and by the way ____________, only followed me so she could get beck to you." he stepped through a dark portal and was gone. "Fuck…….." was all I could say at the moment. To think that I lost the one person who cared about me on Earth because of what I asked God to do. I looked towards the bedroom door and saw Luna sitting there shocked, "Ōkami are you alright?" she asked as she slowly approached me. "I*cough*should be*cough*" I rubbed my face with my are, wincing in pain as I moved. When I pull my arm away from my face I saw blood, "Well this sucks*cough*" at least they are not frequent. Luna used her magic to slowly lift me to the bed. "I want you to stay here while I go and get somethings from the store." she ordered before she walked out the room, leaving me alone to think. > No Peace > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- As I was laying in my bed I started to think, nothing specific though. Luna had left almost twenty minutes again and I am already lonely. It sucks because one I have nothing to do to entertain myself, and two it hurts to move any part of my body. I guess this just gives me time to think about who I want to be in my guard. Rainbow dash would be a good choice if I could tone down her ego. Applejack also, but her duty to her family comes first. I could have Luna join but that would be her choice. I really wish I could move so I could be writing things down. I heard the door close downstairs, and hoof steps on the floor. The bedroom door slowly opens and Luna peeks in, "Are you five or something?" I ask, thankful that the coughing stopped. Luna looked hurt by my comment, "Would you rather I just barge in and wake you up if your asleep?" "Saying that we are dating I wouldn't care." I responded. "That is true. I guess it is still hard for me to think that way since none have every tried being in a relationship with me." she said sadly. "Enough depressing stuff. What did you go get at the store?" "Just some bandages and such. We need you to be able to move around." she smiled as she approached me using her magic to pull my shirt up to reveal my already bruising body. She pulled out a cream or something and started applying it on the bruises. She then rapped my chest with the bandage, "Does that feel any better?" she asked. "A little. What was that cream you put on me?" "Just a little something to help with pain and speed up the healing process some." "So why do I need to be able to move?" I asked. "Because we are going do somethings as a couple in the town." she answered before sticking her tongue out at me. I groaned as I slowly moved off the bed. "This is going to suck." was all I said before she started to pull me along, not caring about my injuries I received less than an hour ago. The walk to wherever she is bringing me was painful. I had closed my eyes not long before we got into town so I have no clue where we are. Luna finally stopped pulling me and I stumbled forward running into her, "If you wanted to do that then you only had to ask." I opened my eyes and saw that I ran into her plot. I could feel my face turned red as I got off her, "Well we are here." I looked at the building in front of us and saw Sugar Cube Corner, "Why are we here?" "Just go inside." Why is she so insistent? I didn't argue and just walked in. Once inside I was confused, because all the lights were off. Suddenly they turned on and, "SURPRISE!" I stumbled back when pretty much the entire town yelled that at once. The pink pony from the Town Hall suddenly jumped on me pushing me to the ground, "Sowereyousurprised?" working from instinct and trying to stop the pain I kicked her off of me. I winced at the action but I managed to fight off the pain. "Pinkie didn't I tell you not to jump on him?" Luna asked from behind me. I look at Pinkie and see Rainbow standing in front of her protectively. "So what if you told her not to. He should have asked her to get off." Rainbow snapped. "By the looks of him Rainbow, I think he is in a lot of pain." I heard Applejack say as she approached us. "Yes he is. Emotionally and physically." Luna said. I can't believe they are talking about me like I'm not here while I lay on the ground in pain, "He just had someone who he was his world through him away because of reasons I will not say, and on top of that he lost a fight with a very powerful man." go Luna for not saying everything. Pinkie slowly moved towards me and pulled me into a hug, "I'm sorry Ōkami. I hope you can forgive me." did her mane and tail become flatter? "Yes I forgive you." I said weakly. Her mane and tail puffed back to life, "Then lets get this party started!" she practically yelled as she bounced off. Applejack walked up to me, "Ya alright sugar cube?" "About as good as I can be." Luna used her magic to pick me up, "But I guess I could always be worse off." "Now ain't that the truth." "Go and enjoy the party Applejack. I can't be that fun to talk to." she smiled, "Go on. Go find your friends I know they probably have something fun to do. I am in to much pain to do anything short of walking, and even that is a chore." "Alright. I guess I'll catch you two later then." she disappeared into the party. I turned to Luna, "So who thought it would be a good idea to bring me here?" "Pinkie. She wouldn't take no for an answer." was all she said before she picked me up and brought me to a table. "You know I'm supposed to carry you." I said as she put me down. "Yeah well stop doing stupid stuff and maybe you will be able to one day." she sat next to me and used me as a pillow, "For now I shall take a nap." she declared before closing her eyes. What the hell is going on? This is almost as crazy as when I first got here. I'm just glad nothing has gone wrong since Core left. *CRASH* "I hate my life." a heartless smashed the wall of Sugar Cube Corner open. I looked outside and saw a very large human like heartless with small skeletal wings on its back. Its chest had a massive heart shaped hole in it. I eased Luna off of me and ran outside. Once outside I summoned my keyblade, which was enough to draw its attention. The heartless punched the ground with both of its fists creating a pool of darkness. Shadows crawled out of the dark pool and began to run at me. I through my keyblade and destroyed a few of them. I ran forward and grabbed my keyblade. I ran into the dark pool and started hitting the heartless's wrist. It pulled its hands from the ground and I jumped back. The Heartless started creating a sphere of darkness in front of the hole in its chest. I stood ready watching as it charged the attack. When it released the ball of darkness I ran to the side and watched where I was previously standing by consumed in darkness. I ran to it and started attacking its legs. Sadly I was not paying attention and it hit me with its arm. I flew into the hole it created in Sugar Cube Corner, and slammed into Luna waking her up. "Ōkami, what is going on?" she asked with a slight yawn. The heartless did not give me time to answer before it grabbed me and Luna, "WHAT IS THIS THING!" Luna yelled. I started to fight its grip. As I fought it squeezed me tighter, but I managed to force myself out of its grasp. When I landed on the ground in grunted in pain. The wounds from my very brief fight with Core were burning. I could hear the call of darkness once more as it slowly flowed around me, but like the other times it was calming, almost mournful. I let it flow, and used it to dull the pain enough for me to raise One. It started to charge another darkness blast in front of its chest, "I don't know how you got here, but this is my world." I stated through clenched teeth, "And I will die before I let you destroy it." it released the ball of darkness and I through my keyblade at it. The ball stopped once my keyblade connected, and then it exploded. One flew back to me and I ran at the Heartless. The heartless tried to swipe at me with its hands, but I jumped on its left arm and ran up it. Once I got to its head I jumped and slammed One down into its head and it shrieked before it disappeared. I managed to get under Luna before we hit the ground, but after that there was only pain and darkness. ***** Ōkami lay on the ground under a panicked Luna. Quickly got off Ōkami and started to pick him up, "Please wake up Ōkami." she cried as a pinkish card, with Ōkami and the girl who was with Core on it, floated down and rested next to the two. Luna picked it up and placed it on Ōkami's head, and it flashed briefly before it vanished. Ponies started to slowly gather around Luna and Ōkami, "Don't just stand there!" she yelled at the group, "Someone get a doctor!" there was some shuffling in the group before a mare with a white coat and red mane and tail stepped forward. "With all due respect, none of us can treat him here. He needs to be moved to the Hospital." she stated calmly. "Then let us get going." Luna replied as tears flowed down her cheeks. She picked him up in her magic and started walking towards the hospital. The whole walk to the hospital was quiet, even with half the town following them. Luna was almost hysterical by the time they reached the hospital. Once inside the doctors rushed Ōkami into intensive care. The lobby was full as ponies came one by one to tell Luna it would be alright, but there was one who didn't. Filthy Rich refused to talk to Luna. "All I am saying is that it is his fault that he ended up like this." Filthy said to one of the other town's ponies, "He should have let the guard handle it. They are trained to take care of these things for a reason." the ponies he was talking to quickly backed away from Filthy as Luna started to loom over him from behind. "Thou knows nothing!" she shouted in his ear, "Ōkami is better trained than the entire guard!" "Yeah and what do you know you stupid ma-" he froze when he saw that it was Luna. "Go on, finish that sentence." Luna threatened, "Thou has no right to say anything about that man. He is only outmatched in combat by me and my sister. He comes from a time that has became a tail you tell your foals to make them behave. A time when Equestria was filled with monsters. So not only is he better prepared for a fight than any of the guards, he is also the only one with a weapon who can fight those beasts." Filthy might have well melted into the ground. He was shaking with fear and was looking around trying to find a way out. "Mistress Luna." Midnight Storm said as she approached, "There is a large number of us waiting to know if Master Ōkami is alright." Luna didn't give her next action any thought, she used her magic to pull Midnight into a hug, "I don't know. I had lost him for a thousand years and now there is a chance I can lose him forever." she cried as she pulled Midnight tighter. Filthy tried to sneak away, but a pair of large thestrals in armor stopped him. "Mistress, your Lunar army stands ready. We can have this town fortified by dusk." a thestral stallion said as he approached Luna. "There is no need. Without Ōkami's weapon you cant stop them." Luna said as she released Midnight, who took in a long breathe and exhaled loudly, "But I would like for you and your men to escort the ponies of this town back to their homes and be vigilant. I don't know if there are anymore heartless around." The white and red mare from earlier came out, "Luna," the thestrals hissed at her, "You may come see Ōkami. He is stable but currently in a magical coma so that his body can recover." ***** I looked around and saw nothing but grassy fields, "Where am I?" "You are in your head." I spun around and saw God standing before me, "First off, congratulations on finding the second memory fragment." he walked over to me and slapped me, "That was for trying to fight Core on your own. I know he brought her to you sooner than I would have wished but you need to control that anger. Yes you got into anti-form, but that was the only good thing to happen. Next time you try to fight Core on your own like that you won't walk away." "Yes mother." I said sarcastically, "Look, I didn't ask for you to make me getting my memories back a game. It is because of that, that the whole situation went down hill. Seresutia only acted like that because I couldn't remember her." "Alright I understand that but you need to control your anger. You will never be strong enough to even stand a chance if you don't. Two Becomes One's ability is Light&Darkness. You have the darkness part down, but you need to find the light." "And what will that do?" "Lets just say that you will be a sight to see when you use your keyblade to its full potential. I am just curious which one will choose to be your second." "Second?" "You'll figure it out. Bye." he faded and left me alone. > Nothing Ever Goes as Right > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I stood in a type of dreamscape. The only thing for miles or even further is grassy fields. I summoned Two Become One and set it on the ground. I focused on it and tried to summon another keyblade but nothing happened, "You are not ready." a voice, that sounded like a female and male mixed, echoed around me. "Who are you?" I called out. "I am the one you call, Two Become One. You are not ready to move to my next stage of power." "Why did you choose me if I couldn't wield you to your fullest potential?" "Because, only those who have to work for their power, will respect it. I have always been this way with all of my wielders, as you would say." I looked at the keyblade on the ground, "My ability, Light & darkness, gives my wielders two forms. One is Anti, a form of darkness, and the other is of light. I will not reveal the truth of that form until you are ready for it." "So how do I become ready?" "You will know when it is time, but until then you are needed to protect these ponies you have come to know." before I could respond the world fell apart around me. ***** I could hear a faint beeping noise on my right. I groaned as feeling returned to my body. I was sore. I suddenly felt like I was choking so I reached towards my face and felt a tube going into my mouth, and I pulled it out, "What happened?" I asked to no anvil. The only other sound in the room, or wherever I am, was the beeping. I slowly forced my heavy eyelids open and took in the dark room. I guess that I am in a hospital. I notice that there is a chair in the corner of the room, and in the chair is a sleeping Luna, who's eyes were red, "I guess that she took me getting hurt hard." I said quietly. I could hear voices outside the room, "Mistress Luna said that none are to enter this room without her permission." was that Midnight. "Ōkami's heartrate increased slightly at the same time as a sudden spike of mental activity. I have to make sure that he is alright." a mare said. "I don't care. If anything was to go wrong Mistress Luna would have came get someone." I had enough of this. I pulled the tabs for the heart monitor off, and removed the IV from my arms. I slowly stood on shaking legs and made my way to the door. I pulled it open and walked behind Midnight, "You two are so loud you could wake a dead person." I said in her ear before the white and red mare could say anything. Midnight jumped and spun around, "Master Ōkami!" she yelped in surprise. "With all due respect you should be in bed." the white and red mare said, who I assume is a nurse. "With all due respect I don't care. I have a job to do, and I will do it." I said defiantly. I honestly didn't expect this to work but I hope it does. "Well you are going back into your room resting. I don't care how you feel about it." the nurse snapped. Little pony has some bite, I could have some fun with this. Suddenly the nurse collapsed and I looked at Midnight, "What she was annoying me. I didn't hurt her, just knocked her out." I sighed, "I guess we should go wake Luna." "Probably best if you did that on your own. The last time someone was inside that room without her permission they almost ended up in a room of their own." "That sounds about right." I walked back into the room and made my way to Luna. I place a hand on her side and shook her gently, "Time to wake up." I said softly as she started to stir. She looked at me and smiled, "Shouldn't you be in bed?" she asked softly. "The nurse said that I should and I told her I didn't care. I have things to do." I responded making her giggle, "So shall we leave?" "Yes. I really don't like hospitals." she said. "Whelp lets get going then." I helped her up and started walking out the room. I stepped over the sleeping nurse, and Luna gasped, "Don't worry she is just knocked out." I said receiving an 'oh' from Luna before she followed me out. As we walked down the hall of the hospital I noticed a large number of thestrals in armor, all of which saluted me and Luna, as we passed, "When did they get here?" "Not long after I brought you here and half the town followed. They have been guarding the building for the past two days." Luna said from right behind me. "So I have just slept for two days? Neat. I guess I should step up my game on finding more Lunar-Key Guards." I stopped and snapped my fingers, "Before I forget would you like to be part of the first batch of recruits? I need to build my forces before I can even think of trying to bring Seresutia back to the light. Core corrupted her, so it is my job to bring her back to the only one in this world who truly knows her." I put my hand on my mouth once I realized that I said her name, "I remember. That must be why I could say it when I talked to God in my head when he gave me another of his lectures on what he thinks will happen." "Her name is beautiful." Luna said. "Yeah it is. Her great grandmother shared that name with her. In her family it was tradition for the eldest living on the father's side to name the first born child." I said, "But that is not really important, right now. I need my list of people to evaluate, but first I need your answer." "Well I don't think that me fighting is the best idea, yeah I do like defending others like you do, but in a battle of light and darkness I might be a problem." 'She is right. Her heart is full of darkness, but she is not trying to destroy things. Most interesting.' I jumped a little when I heard One's voice in my head. "If that is your choice than so be it, but if you ever change your mind then just say something." we started walking again. I looked out the window and saw that the sun was rising over the town. It did not take us very long to reach the lobby. The mare at the desk had to look twice before she pressed a button and some ponies in white jackets came out, "I am leaving. No you can't convince me to stay, and don't try to knock me out with any spells." I walked out the font door and was quickly flanked by thestrals, "I liked it better when I couldn't see you guys when y'all were guarding me." they took the hint and vanished, "So anything interesting happened while I was asleep?" "Other than Discord returning nothing really." I stopped and looked at her. "You mean the guy you and your sister turned to stone before I got here?" "Yeah, but the new bearers of the Elements of Harmony turned him back to stone." "Ok, I'll look into the exact events later, lets just get home. I need to change." we started walking again. Once we got into the town proper, many ponies started applauding me as I walked by. "You are a hero to them. Even though you almost failed they all look up to you for destroying the heartless. While there is a few who don't like you and think that you should have let the guard fight it." I laughed a little and looked at the ponies and saw one who had his nose up. "Was it that prick over there?" I asked pointing at him. "Yeah. His name is Filthy Rich and is the resident rich pony. The only one's better off are us, only because of all those old Equestrian bits you had." I put my hands in my pocket and started walking towards Filthy. Many ponies gasped when they saw where I was going, but he has yet to notice me. Man he is in for a surprise. I cleared my throat, "Excuse me Mr. Rich." he looked at me and his eyes went wide, "It is not polite to insult others when they defended your sorry hide." was all I said before I punched him in the face, "I don't care if you call the guards on me for that either. They probably don't like you anyway." I casually walk my way back to Luna, who's jaw was almost touching the ground. "Was that really necessary?" Luna asked when I got close, and kept walking towards our house. "Yeah. He was a prick. Every prick deserves a punch to the face at least once." I responded casually, "How many of your thestrals want keyblades?" "Quite a few actually. At the rate they are signing up I'd almost recommend having a barracks built for them." "Not a bad idea. Notify the Mayor that we are expanding the town boarders to include the old castle. I will try and get in touch with Zeke and see if he can help with the process any." "Why that place?" she asked as our home came into view. "Because, it is away from the town. So if any training would go wrong it would not effect the town." I explained, "And I think eventually it will become its own town. I will be calling it Pevensey Castle." "Why that?" "I just like the sound of it." "Oh. Shall I fetch the thestrals that wish to join your guard?" "That would be great." I responded before I kissed her cheek, "Have them meet me at Pevensey." "Alright." she turned and started leave, swaying her hips as she walked. I swear she is trying to get me in trouble. I looked at the Everfree. The dark gloomy forest before me was going to become a town all its own. Me and Luna will act as its co-rulers so to speak. I sighed and started running through the forest, the idea of fresh clothes slipping my mind. I could see the eyes of creatures in the dark as I ran but none tried to stop me. Almost like the actually were scared of me. I finally broke through the trees and saw as old rope bridge connecting the path to the castle. I eased my way onto the bridge and moved across slowly. It took the better of ten minutes for me to cross that bridge, "I really need to fix that thing or just make a new one." Since my return to the none stone life, I have never came back to see if anything survived the test of time. I know that I don't have long until the thestrals get here, so I start looking around t find a decent spot to start working on rebuilding. I found a doorway that was blocked by rubble, and decided to start there. I was not working long before the thestrals started showing up. The first one to come find me was Midnight, "Midnight?" "Yes Master?" she responded with her own question. "Didn't expect for you to be here, and stop with that master thing. Soon enough we will all be equals. Plus I don't have my Mark of Mastery yet." I explained as I wiped sweat off my face. The humidity is unreal, "I would like for you to go out and instruct the rest of the thestrals and anyone else who is here, that y'all are to start clearing the rubble and help with the reconstruction of the castle. This will be our home base and hopefully it will become a town in time." Midnight saluted me, "Yes, mas- Sir!" she left me to finish opening the room. With how much of the castle that was destroyed, I did not realize where in the castle I was. With the door unblocked it revealed stairs. "It cant be." I said as I made my way down. Thankfully the enchanted torches still worked, so I was not blind on my way down. Once I reached the bottom I smiled as I looked at the fully intact door, "I guess this place was sealed when Celestia and Luna fought all those years ago." I pushed the door open and walked into the room. My room. Even with the thick layer of dust covering the whole room I could still see my old armor that I never wore. It had rusted long ago, and I wouldn't dare touch it out of fear of it crumbling at my touch. I dusted off some of the other stuff, and smiled at the memories of the days me and my two friends spent playing pranks and fighting together. On the wall is a slightly faded painting, which showed me on a knee in my armor on with Luna and Celestia standing next to me, "Those where the good ol'days." I opened the chest I kept at the foot of my bed and looked at the items that I collected as my brief time as Luna's guard. There is a large bag that is full of Old Equestrian bits, a black trench coat that I had made, a few enchanted daggers from would be assassins, a crown the sisters had made as a joke which got turned around on them, and a notebook that I used to write in. I looked under the bed and found a long box with a latch on it. I pulled it out and set it on the bed. After entering a small number code, the latch popped open, "Lets see if you still work." I said as I opened the case and pulled out a rifle of sorts. I walked out my room and closed the door and locked the door. I then walked up the stairs and into the courtyard. I notice that there was an extreme lack of rubble and the vines on the walls were gone. I found a hole in the wall and took aim, but when I pulled the trigger nothing happened, "Well shit. I was hoping to have my gun back." I placed the gun on my back and walked into a section of the castle that was still standing. I found Midnight directing the other thestrals with extreme efficiency. I called her over to me. "Yes Ōkami?" she asked. "It is time that I start distributing these." I summoned Two Become One, "Just remember that your keyblade will be your badge and with it come a responsibility to protect others." she nodded. I grabbed her wing, causing her to blush a little, and placed it on One's grip, "In your hand, take this Key. So long as you have the makings, then through this simple act of taking, its wielder you shall one day be. And you will find me, friend-no ocean will contain you then. No more borders around, or below, or above, so long as you champion the ones you love." I recited as Two Become One glowed. I removed her wing and One disappeared, "You should be able to summon one yourself, but I can't tell you how. Go and retrieve the rest of your people and I will do this for them also." "Yes, sir." she went as started to send the other thestrals to me. It took the better part of an hour to finish the distribution of keyblades. Im thankful for their wings, because it would be a lot harder to train an earth pony. I started to roam the castle to see how much had actually survived, sadly not much. The old throne room is still there but not whole, both Celestia's and Luna's rooms were destroyed. Same with the kitchen and dinning room. The barracks was repairable but not usable at the moment, and the training field had collapsed into the canyon that surrounds the castle. I had found that the pedestal that the sisters used when switching the day to night was still there and had quite a nice natural garden surrounding it. I climbed onto the pedestal and started to meditate, ***** Once again I was standing in the grassy field. But unlike last time there is an old castle sitting in the distance, "One you here?" I called out. "I am always here. I reside within you." the two voices that is One replied. "How do you think my course of action will end?" "I feel like you are doing quite well. You are returning hope to a very minor race. They won't say it but their numbers are not what they once were. They are actually refugees themselves. At onetime they had their own world but it was swallowed by darkness. It appears that they have forgotten their roots over time." "Wait how do you know this?" I asked. "I know this because I was once wielded by a thestral before their world fell. My last master never made it off the world." "Is that why you were not apposed to the thestrals receiving keyblades of their own?" "No that is not why. The thestral race is naturally in tune with the darkness, but they also have great capabilities when exposed to the light. They are remarkable warriors, but they need purpose." "And me recruiting them gave them that purpose?" "Yes." One responded, "Now on to more important matters. You have suddenly allowed more light into your heart, why is that?" "Because I can remember the one who kept me from the darkness on Earth. Currently I am trying to find a way to lure her to Equestria so that I can try to bring her to her senses. I felt the hate coming off of her, Core corrupted her." "That actually makes sense. He wants you to fall to the darkness so he can control you." "Of course that is what he wants. So about how long till him or one of his henchman men make an appearance?" "Actually I am surprise that they haven't with the sudden increase of keyblade wielders on this world." Suddenly the world started to crumble away around me, "Of course this would happen." ***** I awoke with a start as my body fell off the pedestal. I managed to put my arms in front my face before I hit the ground. There was yelling all around me as I stood up. Once I got to my feet I looked around and saw heartless assaulting the thestrals. To my surprise almost half of them managed to summon their keyblade, and more were figuring it out. We were outnumbered big time, and to make matters worse, a lot of the thestrals don't know how to use a weapon yet. I saw Midnight dancing through the heartless with the Way to the Dawn. I decided to join her. I ran and threw my keyblade in a strike raid destroying a small group, "Nice of you to wake up." she said with a smile as we both ran towards each other and attacked the heartless that followed. "How long ago did this start?" I asked as we crossed paths. "It started not long after you went on that pedestal. So about an hour ago." "Didn't feel like it was that long to me." by this point most of the heartless have been cleared out. Me and Midnight went take a small break while the others got some much needed experience, "So how did you learn to us a sword like that?" "It was a family tradition since we arrived on Equus, and before you ask only my family remembers the time when my many greats grandfather used one of these to defend us as we escaped our world as it died." she explained. "Ok that makes sense, but do you know what keyblade he wielded?" "No. Its description was lost to time I'm afraid. All we know is that our family was the only ones blessed to wield these heavenly blades in that time. Sadly only he survived long enough to send his son through the portal to this place." I summoned One back, "This is his weapon, Two Become One. When I meditate or sleep like I was, I can talk to it. It told me of your people and the warrior who defended your ancestors as they escaped. I am honored to hold the same weapon as the one who save his kind from death in the darkness." I looked at Midnight and saw tears in her eyes. She buried her face into my chest. "So sweet." a voice said from behind me. I turned and saw a stallion with a black cloak with red lines creating the heartless symbol on his back, "It is a shame that my descendants couldn't follow me into the darkness that gracefully claimed our world. Core was quite courteous when he gave me the option to return my people to the darkness that we were born from, but it seems that you have tainted them with the light that held me back for so long." he summoned a keyblade. It was a twisted and corrupt version of my own. "Please don't do this!" Midnight cried, "You saved us!" The hooded stallion started to chuckle before it turned into a cackle, "Midnight, leave." I ordered, "Gather the others, I will hold him back. I just hope that it is enough to give you the time you need." I rolled my shoulders and my black trench coat appeared on me, "That is new." I brought One down to my side as I took on a fighting stance, "You will not destroy the lives of those you once protected." before he could react I charged him. I tried to slash upwards at him only for him to block my attack. I jumped back and focused on keeping my cool. "Face it. I have many more years of experience than you. You won't win." I smirked as I charged once again. I acted like I was going to slash from the right but a he went to block I jumped and spun, slashing him on the back, "Not bad but you will have to do better." The marks left by my hit vanished, "Now that is just cheating." I focused on the warmth that darkness had brought over me when Luna was in danger, causing it to flow around me, "You know, darkness is a beautiful thing, but to much of a beautiful thing makes it bittersweet." in a flash I was in my anti-form. I started jumping around trying to make him loose his focus on me. "Stopga." suddenly I couldn't move, "Magnega" I was forced into a vortex. I could feel the damage being done to my body, "Thundaga" of course he does this. Lightning struck me while I was stuck in the vortex. "ENOUGH" a voice that was all to familiar yelled as I fell to the ground limp. ***** Midnight ran towards Ōkami as he lay on the ground. She looks to his side and sees Two Become One. Moving quickly she grabbed it and summoned her keyblade, "You are not the one who save us all those years ago!" she threw a double strike raid. The hooded figure could only block Two Become One, but Way to the Dawn hit home making him stagger. "You incompetent fool! If you resist Core won't accept you into his cause." "I DON'T CARE!" she shouted as she ran at the stallion. Neither noticed the crowd that formed. Midnight fought like she was dancing and all the stallion could do was defend, "You will never threaten this world again." she growled as she threw Two Become One and attack directly with Way to the Dawn. Both keyblades hit their marks, causing him to scream in pain. "Thank…You" was all he said before his heart floated away and his body vanished. Midnight looked at Ōkami, "Luna is going to skin me alive." > Ponies are Rude > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Luna was furious. No thestral dared to approach her, "I thought that I could trust you all to protect him, but it seems that I was wrong." she seethed as she looked at the group before her, "I thought that of all ponies my own followers could protect the one I love better than anyone else, but it seems I was wrong there also." she focused here eyes on Midnight who stood at the head of the group, "Midnight I am mostly disappointed in you. As the last heir to the Wild bloodline I expected you to stop this from happening. I understand what he told you to do, but you shouldn't have listened to him. This was a family matter for you. You should have been the one in charge for that battle. Just like when Seresutia comes back it is his job to get her to our side and I'd he can't do that he will have to put her down." Luna said coldly. "Yes, Mistress. Please have mercy Mistress." Midnight said as she flattened her ears and lowered herself to the ground. "Midnight Storm, as punishment for failing to protect Ōkami. You are to train all Lunar-Key Guards in the way of the sword. If they fail you will be punished. Is that understood?" "Yes Mistress." she replied still on the ground. "Now all of you get to work. I want Pevensey Castle prepared for use by the time Ōkami wakes up. Not perfect but we'll enough for that to be your barracks and training grounds." Luna ordered before every thestral except for Midnight left, "Is there a reason that you are still here?" "Yes Mistress. I want to ask permission to form a herd so to speak with you and Ōkami. He is the only one that I actually feel safe around, and it is our custom that we try to be with the one who we feel safest with." she said in a frightened tone. "Very well then, but just remember that he may not accept you at first. You will also have to earn my respect before I treat you the way I treat him." Midnight almost fell over when she heard Luna’s words, "Th..thank you. May I wait here with you for today?" "Yes you may, but tomorrow you are to report to Pevensey and start repairs on the throne room. That is your job." ***** "You have learned to control your darkness. Very good, but you still have a long way to go." One said as I walked through the desolate halls of a ruined castle. "Why is it so hard to focus light like I focus darkness?" I asked. "It is hard because, almost all your life you were surrounded by darkness and you succumbed to it many times but you have also trailed back to a state of almost light." "English please." "Basically your heart is more dark than light, but the light is strong enough to keep the darkness from consuming you." "Oh." "Someone is coming." "So one of my brothers chosen ones can't even defeat ones of my weakest soldiers." Core said as he approached me, "I thought that you were stronger." "Core why are you here?" I asked as I watched his every move. "I am here to make a deal with you. Well more like a pact, but it is about the same right." a table appeared before him and he sat, "Have a seat." I eyed the table suspiciously before slowly taking a seat, "Now I know that you can remember Seresutia completely, but she don't know that yet. She has been training to come back and fight you. I can stop her training and convince her to go back to you if you join my side and learn to master your darkness." "Never. I know that you twisted her and that you are just trying to manipulate me." "So you are smarter than you seem, but that will not change anything. The only hope you have is to join me." "No. You see the difference between what you are saying and the reality of this situation is that I actually have hope that we can win. Will there be loses? Yes, but they will not die in vain. You on the other hand will. You will fall and your name will fade from history." Core started to laugh, "You understand nothing short of today. I have lived longer than you can imagine. I know how this will end." "Ōkami, someone else is attempting to enter your mind." suddenly Core vanished. "So he can reach into your mind also." I turned and saw God standing there. "Why the fuck do you two think it is okay just to enter my mind like this?" I asked. "Because in here only us and your keyblade know what is happening. I did not think my brother could access your mind." "If you can then what is stopping him? I mean from what Two Become One has told me my heart is majority darkness anyway." "That is very true. On another note you have made some soldiers since we last spoke." "I wouldn't call them soldiers yet. Well other than Midnight. That mare knows her way around a sword." "The bloodline of Wild is natural fighters. Much like how a weapon feels natural to you, the only difference is that she knows how to use it properly. The fighting style passed down through her family is one of the old keyblade masters. Specifically for her race though. On her world there was a total of ten warriors who wielded keyblades when the world was falling to darkness. All ten bloodlines live on, but their history is all but gone. I can point you in the right direction of their direct descendants, but their is no guarantee that you will find them." "So basically you want me to unite the ten warriors bloodlines." "Yes. There is a special power that they hold when united and Two Become One and its wielder are placed among them. I do not know what happens when the power is used." "So basically you don't know if we will survive it. You really are no help sometimes, but if it can give us an edge against Core than I will take the chance." "Good. Just a warning though, all ten were corrupted, and each have a corrupted version of the keyblade they once wielded. There will be no avoiding a fight with the remaining nine." I sighed, "So in other words I have to fight nine more ancient keyblade masters who were corrupted when their world fell. This will be fun." "Also don't expect anything to get easier. Soon you will be tested. If you pass or fail will determine the fate of your world." with that he vanished. "One what did he mean by that last part?" "I don't know, but it did not sound good." the world slowly fell away into darkness. ***** Feeling came back as I slowly woke up. I could hear beeping again which means that I am probably in the hospital, again. I reach up slowly and pull the feeding tube out. I slowly opened my eyes and looked around my room to see that this time it was empty. I pulled my IV out and slowly put my legs over the bed. I was stiff. Almost like I slept for more than just a few days. Slowly I put my weight on my feet and stood up. A section of my hair fell in front of my face. Normally I kept my hair short so I found this alarming. Slowly I walked to the door and opened it. The hall was empty. Slowly I made my way towards the front desk, where I saw the nurse from last time talking to some doctors. When she saw me she gasped, "Ōkami what are you doing out of bed?" she asked and I chuckled. "How long was I asleep this time?" I asked her. My voice was hoarse from not being used. "Almost a year. We didn't think you were going to wake up." she responded. "A year? Shit, where is Luna?" "There is a royal wedding in Canterlot. Her sister requested that she try and go. She didn't want to leave but she never really left your room, so we made her go." I forced my body to work. I ran to the door, and summoned Two Become One, immediately throwing it into the air. It flashed before it became a silver version of what Xehanort's glider looked like. I took off and flew for the Castle. I had no idea what I was doing. All I knew was that I needed to get to Luna. As I closed in on Canterlot I noticed a pink shield surrounding the city. I looked down and saw a train stopped at the edge of it. Next to the train was Twilight and her friends. I opted to fly down to them. As I neared the ground all the guards readied their weapons. I landed and was immediately surrounded by the guards, "Stand down monster!" one of the guards ordered. I chuckled and looked at the girls who all looked really surprised to see me, "You see I would but it appears that after a year you have all forgotten who I am. Plus I am grumpy from waking up after a year long coma without my marefriend anywhere to be found. Then I was told she was here in Canterlot for the wedding. So unless you plan on trying to stop me move." Some of the guards took the hint and backed away but the one who tried to order me around charged me with his spear I brought One down shattering it, "Move." was all I said before a guard in purple armor approached us. I saw Twilight give him a hug before she pointed in our direction. He nodded and looked a little pissed. "Guards stand down!" he ordered, "Would any of you like to explain why Luna’s coltfriend is being stopped like this?" All the guards who didn't back down cowered before him, "Thanks." I said with a wave as I approached them, "If it is the same to you, I am going find Luna. Bye." I just kept walking and went through the shield. I turned One back into a glider of sorts and flew to the castle. On my flight there many guards joined me in the air almost like an escort. When I landed I was surrounded once again. Only this time they didn't have time to do anything before Celestia showed up, "Sup." "Ōkami what are you doing here?" she asked. "Well for one Luna, and two I have nothing better to do." I responded with a smirk. "You are a pain, you know that right. Follow me." she started walking inside the castle and I followed. To say that I got strange looks us an understatement. Ponies are fucking rude. I started just flipping them off if they stared, and it seems like the pegasus guards are the only ones who knows what it means, "Ōkami why do you insist on making such vulgar motions?" "Because your ponies are fucking rude." we arrived at a pair of doors, "Is it lunch time?" "Yes. Now go take a seat." she responded as she opened the door. I walked in and saw a pink alicorn getting up and heading towards me 'Be cautious with her. Her heart is black and toxic.' One said to me. When she got close I whispered to her, "I don't like you. If you try something I will end you. Understood?" she didn't respond. She only giggled at me. I looked around and saw Luna eating. She never looked up to see why the door opened. Sadly there was no seat free next to her. I walked over and pulled the chair from under one of my Lunar-Key Guards. Across from him was Midnight. Luna and Midnight both looked up and gasped, "Ōkami?" "The one and only." I said as I sat down. The thestral grumbled and walked away, "So how have you two been?" "Well for one, Midnight has requested to join our relationship." I dropped the fork I just picked up, "Pevensey has been restored to being safe to use, and our niece is getting married in the next couple of days. That should cover everything." "Oh. At least some crazy bad guy didn't come and destroy everything." I said as I picked my fork back up, "Pass the steak please." a thestral passed the large plate and I cut a decent sized piece off, "So who has been training my guards?" I asked between bites, "This is some good stuff." I glanced at the others who don't know me, all of which are staring, "Celestia make them stop or I will." I took another bite of the steak. "Well I have been training them. That was my punishment for letting you get hurt." Midnight responded. "Ok." I responded. I glanced to my side again and they were still staring, "Celestia either make them stop or they won't be any chance of me being nice to anyone around here. You know what I can do. Especially once I get my spell gun fixed." "You whelp!" a white unicorn with a blonde mane said. "That's it." I snapped before I stood up and marched over to the unicorn. "Ōkami stop." Luna, Celestia, and Midnight said in unison. I just flipped them off as I grabbed the unicorn by his horn and dragged him out the room. Once I left the room there was two flashes and both alicorn sister's stood before me, "I warned you what would happen if they didn't stop. This prick," I lifted him, "Pissed me off. So I'm going to deal with the problem. Don't worry he will live." I kept going and pushed Celestia out the way. I didn't touch Luna because that would not end well. Once I was far enough from the two alicorns I spun a through the unicorn into a wall. I then walked back into the dinning room and sat back down, to continue enjoying the steak. "That was unnecessary. "Midnight said. "No, not really. I gave warnings." I responded. "You know what I mean." she huffed and crossed her arms in an adorable fashion. "How many can fight?" "What?" "I asked how many can fight." "More than half why?" "That is not enough. There is nine more like your many great grandfather that we need to fight." I said. "How do you know that?" "I know because the brother of the guy who did this told me." "Oh. So what do you think about me joining your relationship with Luna?" "I don't mind." Suddenly a group of Lunar-Key Guards ran into the room followed by the blonde prick that I threw into a wall. "There at the end of the table. That is the monster who assaulted me." he cried in a very odd manner. The guards started to laugh, " You know it would do you some good to use guards who don't follow my commands." I called out and waved, "Pluss they don't belong to Equestria so you have no authority over them. Only Luna, Midnight, Celestia, and me have that honor." Celestia and Luna finally come back into the room and sighed at the sight before them, "Prince Blue Blood, I must ask you to refrain from harassing Ōkami." Celestia said. "Now was that so hard Celestia?" I asked. "And Ōkami, please stop harassing the ponies of Canterlot." Luna added. "Yes ma'am." I responded as I hung my head in defeat. "So the big bad man is defeated by the words of a ma-" Blue Blood stopped when he felt Two Become One and Way to the Dawn pressed against him. He looked at me and then to Midnight, "I dare you to finish that sentence." I growled as darkness once again seeped from my body. Two slowly shifted and changed forms, but quickly changed back, "I don't care what position you hold. No man is better than another. That includes women." I could feel the power flowing in my blood. It was tempting to give in. I brought One back and prepared to strike him on the head but Midnight stopped me. "Ōkami stop." she said through teary eyes, "I understand that your mad but this is not you." I felt an urge to hold her and stop the tears, but something in me wouldn't let. I stepped back and walked away from them. Their cries for me to come back faded as a dark portal opened before me. I stepped inside and vanished. > The Next Step > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Who are you?" a woman's voice asked. "My name is Ōkami. Who are you?" I responded. "Who I am is of no importance, but you on the other hand are very important. Currently I hold you here, in the darkness between world's. The only reason it has not consumed what little light your heart holds is because I am stopping it. You remind me of a friend of mine who was taken by the darkness almost ten years ago. Me, him, and one other, once wielded a Keyblade much like you do. I was a master. The only one of use three to get that title before things went bad." "Why are you telling me this?" "Because, only once you learn to tame the darkness in you, will you be able to save others. Every fight you have lost because you use it without knowing how, or because light would have worked better. Only one who understands the need for balance can be a true master. I failed, but I can help you succeed if you wish." "What can you help me with?" "First you must be placed in a timeless sleep only darkness can achieve. Then you must master it and find your light. Only then will you stop your heart from ripping itself apart." "Lets us start then." ***** I stood in the grassy field from my dreams, only this time the castle is not in ruins and the place is full of heartless, "What is this place?" I asked. "This is a reflection of your heart." the female voice from earlier responded. "Alright." I looked around and tried to focus on One, "Where is One?" "Your keyblade is being blocked by the darkness." "Great." I started walking towards the castle and found the remains of three ancient knights. The first had a sword, the second had a shield, and the last had a wand. "Pick the one which you favor." she said. I reached out and grabbed the sword, "Now choose the one you don't need." I kicked the wand away, "Very well. You have chosen the vanguard path. It is difficult, but rewarding." all three knights turned to dust leaving the sword and shield. I placed the shield on my left arm and swung the sword a few times, "Before you is the darkness in our heart. There is many ways to complete this trail, but there is only one path to mastery. Choose wisely." I started walking towards the castle. Many of the heartless before me just watched. Not a one moving to stop my approach. The walk was longer than I hoped it would be, but patience is important here. I don't want to tire myself out for when the fighting starts. The castle itself was full of heartless also, it was unnerving to say the least, "Is my heart really this far into the darkness?" "I'm afraid so." the woman responded, "Your destination is the throne room." "Thanks." I started my way there. It felt like it was a trap, but I planed to spring it. Once I left the heartless infested halls, and entered the throne room, I looked at the site before me in shock. Sitting on the throne was me, except he worn all black and his trench coat was red. "So NiCe Of YoU To JoIn Me." he said. "I can't let you run unchecked like this." I stated. "ThEn StOp Me."' he said summoning some type of twisted keyblade. I raised my shield and watched him. He jumped off his throne and tried to sam his keyblade into my head, but I raised my shield and deflected the blow. When I went to hit him, he just blocked my sword, "FaCe It WiTh OuT Me YoU ArE WeAk." I ignored his comment and continued to try and land a blow on him, "YoU CaN't BeAt Me. I Am YoU." he was right. He knew all my fighting styles. Taking a deep breathe I ran at him. I had to fight him and win or things will never get better. When I got close I went to bash him with my shield and he jumped back, but he did not have time to block my sword that I threw at him, "So yOu CaN FiGhT mE." I looked at my sword on the ground next to him and cursed. He saw what I was looking at and smiled, "YoUr Out oF TrIcKs aLrEaDy?" slowly I started to circle my dark half. He started to laugh, "YoU hAvE No wEaPoN gIvE Up." I stepped back and focused. Slowly I could feel a power within me start to stir. "Your right. I don't have any weapons." my shield vanished and my sword glowed. I could hear a name being repeated in my head, "Aqua." I said quietly as Lost Memory appeared in my hand, "But I do now." I took off like a bullet towards the dark me. He barely had time to react as my keyblade connected with his shoulder, "I will always find a way." I said as I knocked his keyblade away, "I will always fight to protect." I launched him to the side with another attack, "I will always fight to preserve those who cannot fight for themselves." I brought Lost Memory down on him, making a small indention in the ground, "Share you power with me and we can do those things together." I dropped Lost Memory and reached a hand towards my dark self. "Finally you have realized that we can be one, but you still have to find your light." he said as he grabbed my hand and slowly disappeared. "Who is Aqua?" I asked. "That is my name. I lent you some of my power, which is something I won't do it again." "Why?" "Because you have promise. I should have known that you were not ready to face him yet, but I still brought you here. Now go and find the light." The castle melted away and was replaced with the grassy fields. The only difference is that now there is a barn of sorts in the distance. I started running for the barn. What little heartless remained stayed clear of the barn. Once I got close I quickly located the door and pushed it open. What I saw inside almost made me drop to my knees, Seresutia. She was brushing the mane of a black quarter-horse. Suddenly the world twisted, Seresutia and the horse both lay on the ground dead. I slowly approached her body, tears falling down my cheeks, "Why is everything so cruel?" I asked but received no answer. I screamed at the world. This was not fair, I had lost her once before, but to loose her once again. It was to much. Everything turned cold as I could feel the darkness in my heart growing in power. All I could do is weep as I sat down next to her. My tears started to burn as they froze. Suddenly I started to feel a warmth in my hand. I looked down and saw a keychain. The chain had two metallic angel wings on the edge of a heart. Gripping the keychain I placed it on Seresutia, and walked out the barn. Once outside I found two swords laying in a cross. I picked them up and watched as heartless started to converge on the barn. I charged them bringing the sword in my right hand down in and then, using the sword in my left hand, I spun hitting any heartless that was close, "I will not let you corrupt her." I growled as darkness started to pulse around me. I didn't care that she was dead. I could not let them get her heart. I brought the swords to my right side and had the blades running parallel. I slashed upwards with both swords destroying three more Shadows. Behind all the heartless I could see someone in a black cloak. I started carving my way towards him. When I got close I slashed with my right sword only to have him block it with his hand. "Now, now. There is no need for that." he said before pushing me away. "Who are you?!" I asked. He put his hand on his chest, "I'm hurt. How can you not remember me? I mean we did used to be friends." "What are you talking about?" "That really hurts you know. We were together all through elementary and middle school." he summoned a pair of dark blue crosses that had a metal ring connecting the points. "Who are you?" "That don't matter." he threw one of his weapons at me, and I jumped to the side. When his weapon hit the ground the area froze. I ran at him before he could get it back. I swung my left sword down and he blocked it with his remaining weapon. My sword turned to ice and shattered. I cursed and just eyed him, "You know." he said laughing, "You were never this feisty before, but then again having that girl die on you made you mad." I ran at him again, only this time I grabbed one of the frozen fragments of my broken sword. Once I was close enough I threw the shard at his head and waited for him to block his view. As I had expected he moved both his weapons to block the piece of frozen metal. I closed what little distance there was and hit him with the flat of my sword, knocking him over. I looked down at him and hit him in the head with the pommel of my sword knocking him out. Suddenly warmth returned to the grassy fields. The remaining heartless vanished along side the barn. "I did not expect you to find enough kindness to spare him." the woman said, "But that was all it took it seems. Your heart has accepted both the light and darkness, and is no longer fighting itself. Now come let us return you to your world." ***** I could feel the darkness around me, but I could also feel that something was keeping it away, "Ōkami, only just over a day has passed. The two who care about you are both scared right now, and there is a major dark presence in the structure I took you from." the women said. "I understand. Please send me back." a portal much like the one that brought me here formed before me, "Will we speak again?" "Maybe one day, but for now there are others who need you more." I walked through the portal and was almost blinded by the amount of light in the room. I was back in the dinning room, but unlike last time it was empty. I sighed and walked out the room and towards the throne room. "Why are you doing this to me?" I heard a mare cry. There were other voices but I couldn't hear them, so I started running towards the room that it came from. When I got to the throne room, I saw Twilight get surrounded by a green circle. The pink alicorn had a smug look on her face, but everyone was so focused on Twilight they didn't see it. I ran forward and grabbed Twilight. Everyone in the room gasped at my action. I tried to pull her out the circle but we were both trapped. Suddenly green fire consumed us. ***** I rubbed my head as my vision cleared, "Twilight you there?" I asked. "Yeah." she responded. "What was going on?" "Whoever that is, they are not Cadence, but when I tried to expose her everyone turned on me." "I knew something about her felt off." I said, "She has a heart of darkness." "Why didn't you say anything if you knew that?" she asked. "Because then we wouldn't have any chance of finding the real Cadence. Do you know where we are?" "Possibly the crystal caverns below Canterlot, but I am not certain. There is no maps or pictures of them, only mentions of them in books." "Well lets see if I can find a way out then." I started to look around the chamber that we were in and found a small hole in the wall. When I looked through it I saw a pink alicorn lying on the ground. She was a complete mess, "Twilight, think you can break this wall down?" "Yeah. Why do you ask?" "Just do it." I ordered. Her horn lit up and she sent a beam of magic into the crystal shattering it, "Cadence is that you?" I asked as I walked towards the alicorn. "Wh…who are you?" she asked weakly. "Don't worry. I'm a friend." I said softly, "Twilight come help her." "Help wh-" she stopped when she saw Cadence, "Cadence what happened?" "No questions right now. We need to get her out of here." she nodded slightly and picked Cadence up with her magic, "Now it is time to get out of here." I stretched out my hand and focused on the light in my heart. Slowly a portal much like Core's, only white instead of black, appeared, "Get her through. I will follow." Twilight wouldn't move. I grabbed her and threw her into the portal. I gently picked up Cadence and went through the portal. When we exited the portal I stood outside the throne room, "What was that for?" Twilight asked. "You didn't want to move and we needed to get here." I responded. I set Cadence down and she slowly stood up, "Cadence you ready?" she nodded. I cracked my knuckles before I kicked the doors open. Everyone in the room gasped in horror at what just happened. "Ōkami what is the meaning of this?" Celestia asked in an irritated tone. "I'm just removing a false bride." I responded casually as I walked towards the fake Cadence, "You know your plan would have worked if I didn't see how dark your heart is creature." The fake Cadence started to cry, "Why are you doing this?" "Because this is my wedding not yours!" the real Cadence yelled as she and Twilight ran into the room. The shock from them appearing caused the fake Cadence to look away from me long enough for me to get close and kick her, "I don't know what you are but you need to leave. I do not want to fight." She started to laugh, "You are to late. It is only a matter of moments before the shield around your precious city breaks, and my army can get in." I thought momentarily, "You know what. Let your army come, but remember that no matter the weight of the darkness, there is always light. The two cannot live without the other." Her laughter became a cackle as her body was engulfed in green flames. Once the flames dispersed there was no longer a replica of Cadence. Before me stood a black mare who looked like an alicorn, but twisted, "Chrysalis!" Celestia yelled as she charged her horn and shot a beam at Chrysalis only to have Chrysalis shoot a beam back knocking Celestia down. "Fool. The love your guard captain has for that mare, made me more powerful than you can imagine." I jumped back and summoned One, "Why does every bad guy of all time love to monologue?" I ask. I looked back at everyone behind me, "Get out of here and protect those you can." I ordered as many civilians ran out the room. Every thestral in the room summoned their keyblades and stood with me, "I want all of you to delay her army. I will do what I can here." "I'm not leaving you." Midnight said in defiance, "It has become my job to protect you." I grumbled a little, "Alright but if I say run you run." "I guess. Now lets deal with this bug." she stood next to me and readied her keyblade. "So you think that you are strong enough?" Chrysalis asks, "Come and get me." she started to pulse with darkness and heartless started to form around her. "Well at least this won't be boring." I said before running forward and engaged the heartless. "Save some for me." Midnight called before she followed. I could hear Chrysalis start to cackle as we fought her never ending waves of heartless. I slowly moved closer to her as I fought and prepared to knock her focus off. Suddenly it sounded like glass shattered as the dome shield fell and the sky was filled with changelings and heartless. "Chrysalis." I said, "Stop this. We can work out a deal that does not involve any actual casualties, but if you keep going there will be on both sides." "You fool! There can never be peace. The ponies will never accept us. My people starve because they refuse to help." I stopped fighting when she said that. Slowly I walked through the heartless to Chrysalis, "I am sorry to hear that. If I would have known I would have made accommodations for you and your people. I don't believe in segregation of any species." "Ōkami. What are you doing?" Midnight asked. "Stopping anymore fighting before it starts. The changelings are residents of this world as much as the ponies are. So in what way does Celestia have any right to force them to starve? As a Lunar-Key Guard it is our duty to see to the safety of this world and those who live on it. The changelings included." the heartless started to vanish as tears filled Chrysalis's eyes, "Chrysalis I hereby place you and your changelings under the protection and guidance of the Lunar-Key Guard. One day you may join our ranks but first you must find out what it means to let light into your heart. Now please have your people stand down and go wait at the old castle in the Everfree Forest. The code for safety is 'May the moons light guide your key'." "Thank you!" she cried before pulling me into a hug, "No one has ever shown us any kindness." "It is my job. As it is the job of all of my men to do the same. Now let us finish this wedding and mend as much damage as possible." "Ōkami you’re an idiot, but I love you anyway. Just what will Luna say?" Midnight chimes in. "I don't know but you should probably help Celestia. It will be a step in the right direction to fix some damage. Even if she caused most of it." I said to Chrysalis, who immediately went help Celestia stand back up. Celestia immediately started to try and fight, "Celestia she is on our side." "Ōkami how do you know she is not lying?" Celestia asked. I walked over to Celestia and summoned One, "Because unlike you, I am not forcing her people to starve. I am giving them the chance to actually be good when you just alienated them for no reason." I snapped causing Celestia to flinch back a little, "Before today I thought you were actually one of the good guys but I guess I was wrong." Celestia looked like she was about to burst into tears when I finished. Slowly people returned to the room. Celestia’s guards rushed in and surrounded us. "Queen Chrysalis you are under arrest by order of the Princess." one of them said. I tapped One one the ground three times and the room was filled with my guards, "Queen Chrysalis and her people are now under the protection of the Lunar-Key Guard. Any attempts to harm her or her people will result in a war. A war that I do not wish to happen." I said. Me and the head guard stared down one another, "Your move." before he could do anything Luna walked into the room and saw us. "Aunt Chrystal?" she asked. I turned and looked at Chrysalis, who was now free of holes and her eyes were no longer slitted. "Little Luna is that you?" Chrysalis asked. "Guards stand down at once." Luna ordered but no one listened, "Lunar-Key Guards make this room safe for you Mistress and company." almost immediately all the thestrals started to move. The pushed the solar guards out the room and reset the wedding decorations, "Thank you." Luna then ran up and hugged Chrysalis, "I missed you so much. When you disappeared everything went bad." "It is alright Little Luna. Now we must get your sister to some doctors. I seem to have actually hurt her in my blind rage." she said with a sheepish smile, "On another note, where is the bride? I must apologize." I pointed towards the groom, "She is over there." they looked and saw Cadence holding the stallion as he slowly regained consciousness, "When did he pass out?" "Not a clue." Chrysalis responded as she made her way towards the two. I followed leaving Celestia with Luna. When we got to them Cadence looked at us with fear, "Don’t be afraid young one. I was not myself when I did those horrible things." her horn started to glow a light green. All signs of injury and being drained vanished from the stallion, "I hope that helps make things better." Cadence looked at Chrysalis, "It helps some." ***** The wedding went well. Many of the people there were skeptical of Chrysalis even though we reassured them that she changed. Cadence and Shining Armor both requested an escorts of Lunar-Key Guards. Currently Luna, Midnight, and I are sitting in the slightly restored throne room in Pevensey Castle, "So when are we going to go find one of the other ancient thestral masters?" Midnight asked. "Well will do that when all of the Lunar-Key Guard can adequately fight. At the moment we will be torn apart by just one of them, because if what Core said has any weight to it. Your ancestor was the weakest of them." I responded as I looked at the most recent trainees fight, "Luna how are things going with the rehabilitation of the changelings?" "They are doing fine Ōkami, but there are quite a few who wish to join you as a Lunar-Key Guard." she reaponded. "Sounds good. They will just have to wait until I have a chance to see Zeke again. I still need to ask him for some assistance on getting this place prepared to be independent from all governments. Equestria included." I watch one of the recruits closely. He was practically flying through his opponents, similar to Midnight, "Who is that recruit?" "That is Radiant Star. He comes from the House of Dawn. Not much is known about their history but they have always been some of our stronger fighters." Midnight responded. "Radiant Star, please come over here for a moment." I said. He slowly walked over to us, and to say he looked scared was an understatement. "Yes sir." he saluted me. "You will be training and traveling with us until further notice." I stated bluntly. "What have I done to earn this honor?" "Simple. You have promise." > The Storm Before the Fallout of Being Late. > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Radiant is actually funny to be around. The guy is constantly trying to show me respect, that I honestly don't deserve because I am no higher than him in any way other than height. Of all the Lunar-Key Guards he is the worst in that respect but I guess that is just him. Currently we are sitting in what I guess is our war room. I had just finished explaining our mission to him, "So you think I am one of their descendants? I'm sorry but I can't believe that. The only known protector of our world back then was from the House of Wilds. There is no records of there being another let alone nine more." "Well I would think so also if I was not told by someone who lived in that time. There is something about the hearts and keyblades of those ten families." I explained. "Radiant, I want you to know this now. Finding the rest of us will be hard but very much needed. There is something sleeping inside of Ōkami’s keyblade, and only the ten of us can wake it." Midnight said as she snuggled up to me. "If you say so." was all he said. "Don’t you know of any other houses that show more skill than any other through the generations since your kind got to this world?" I asked him as I put my arm around Midnight. "There is the House of Dusk, the House of Terra, and the House of Eclipse. Other than that I don't know." "Well, that will make five. We just need to find the rest." "That will be the hard part, but I guess nothing is ever easy." Midnight added, as she looked out the window, "It is getting late, Radiant go be with your family. We will be back tomorrow to talk some more." he nodded and walked out the room, "We really need to get that stick out his ass." I looked at Midnight and we both started to laugh, "Now a more serious note, we need to get home before we miss dinner. Luna will kill both of us if we are late without a good reason and trust me this is not a good reason." "If you say so." I responded before standing up and walking towards the door, "So what would be the fastest way back to the house?" "For you, probably that fancy glider thing of yours. As for me, I am just going to fly." Midnight responded as she walked passed me and out the room. I followed her closely as she made her way through the halls of Pevensey Castle. Once we exited the castle I summoned my glider and took to the sky. It did not take Midnight long to join me in the sky. We quickly started flying towards our home and suddenly a white portal opened in front of us. ***** Yet another rad storm had just finished in the Commonwealth when a portal of sorts opened above Sanctuary Hills. Acting out of fear that the Institute was attacking all residents and Brother Hood guards readied their weapons as two forms fell from the sky. When it didn't seem like they were going to slow down a woman in a custom set of power armor used her jet pack to catch the mysterious strangers. ***** My head hurt. On moment I was flying home and the next I am lying on something with a massive headache. I slowly try to open my eyes only to be blinded by the light of the sun. Wait the sun? It was most definitely almost night when we left the castle, "General, he appears to be waking up." That voice sounds familiar. "Alright Preston, I got it from here." a female voice said. I fought through the pain and opened my eyes. I was not expecting what I saw. I was in the world of Fallout, "Just a question where am I?" I ask hoping that the 'General' is nice. "You are in my base of operations and home, Sanctuary Hills. Tell me are you a synth or with the Institute in any way?" she asked pointing a .44 revolver at my head. "I don't even know what the Institute is!" I practically scream. "Elder I think that he is telling the truth." another familiar male voice said. "If Danse thinks your telling the truth that is enough for me." she said as she stuck her hand out for me to grab it. When I did she helped me to my feet and lead me outside. Once outside I saw something that made my blood boil. They had Midnight tied up and was about to use her for target practice. I pushed the 'General', 'Elder', or whatever her name is out the way and ran in front of the men who were about to shoot Midnight. I summoned Two "Protect" I said as they fired Lasers at me and her. "Cease fire!" the woman yelled, "Who told you idiots that you could use the pony for target practice?" she asked. Everyone of them shrugged their shoulders, "So you just thought it would be fun? Well how does having your break time cut and being moved to the front of the line for patrolling sound?" she looked at them for a moment, "You know what I don't care how it sounds. Get your sorry asses moving. I want all five of you moving out in an hour." "Yes, Elder. Ad Victoriam!" they all said at once before departing to gather their equipment. "Midnight are you okay?" I ask as I remove the muzzle from her face. "I am thanks to you. Normally I am the one saving your ass." she responded. "Did that pony just talk?" the 'General' asked. "Yes she did. Now do you have a more private area we can talk in?" I ask. "Yeah. Follow me." we walked through the base or town, which ever you would call it, and stopped at the foot of a tree. In said tree was a nice tree house with a window washer cart acting as an elevator, "This is my actual house in this place. I tore down my old one to make the area more fitting. Just get on and we can head up." we all stepped onto the cart and she pressed the button and brought us up. Once we arrived at the top she led us into a living room of sorts, where a German Shepard looking dog was waiting, "This is Dogmeat. Dogmeat these are our new friends." {Happy bark}, "Now start talking, because I am fucking confused on so many levels." "Ok so lets start with why I have a magical taking pony with me and go from there." I explained everything from Earth to me getting a keyblade, "And that about sums it up." "Well if it was not for Midnight there I wouldn't believe a word of your story. By the way my name is Runa. Elder of the Brotherhood of Steel and General of the Minutemen." Runa stated. "Do you have any questions?" "One. Can you arrange for my people to come live in your small settlement at the foot of Pevensey Castle? All of our technology would be at your disposal and at that point I will follow your orders. I only ask because I am tired of seeing my people suffer and struggle to survive. I could arrange for all peaceful people to come with us and we can join you." she pleaded. "I have one question for you, how are you still single?" Midnight asked, "Those instincts to protect those you care about is one of the things I find almost irresistible." I could see Runa blushing at Midnight's comment. "The problem is that I was once married and had a kid. Then the bombs fell and we went to Vault 111. Well to say the vault was cold is an understatement. They froze us. Then a man named Kellogg came in and took my baby, and in the process shot my husband. I found my son after I traveled close to the whole of the Commonwealth. He was dying. So needless to say no one even looks at me as if I could be a romantic partner." All I could do was get close to her and pull her into a hug, "I'm sorry that you had to go through that, but things can get better. I will allow for your people to come, and if you wish you may try and join our herd. I know it is strange but it is something." I accidently knocked her helmet off and I saw her amber eyes and snow white hair. "Please don't run." she said quietly. "Why would I? I think those eyes are beautiful and you hair is a nice complement to them. Go ahead and get you stuff together and send word to all of your people. Tell them to bring all they can." ***** To say that Runa's influence is remarkable is an understatement. I think the only thing she is leaving is a robot they called Liberty Prime. The Prydwen was full of people and equipment, and on top of that there was a small fleet of Vertibirds surrounding it. I stood on the flight deck of the Prydwen with Midnight and Runa, "This world needs help, but these people need it more." I summoned Two and pointed it towards the front of the Prydwen. A keyhole appeared and a beam fired from Two. A locking noise could be heard before a large white portal opened and we went through. After a quick flash of light we were over Pevensey Castle. "Ōkami!!!!" I heard Luna yell. "Shit. Hide me please." I said quickly. "Sorry no can do. I am looking forward to seeing how she punishes you." Midnight said with an evil grin. Runa just shook her head. > Final Form > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Once again Luna was pissed. She had went home early to make a nice dinner and both Midnight and Ōkami vanished. She went to the castle and asked if they were still there and she was told that they had left to go home. Before she could start her flight back home a massive white portal opened and a large number of flying machines came out of it. On the largest one she could see the man she was looking for, "Ōkami!!!" she shot towards the startled human. ***** I was scared. Luna was flying towards us and she was pissed, "Midnight, how do you think she will punish me?" "Well saying that last time I was late things got really kinky, I don't know." she responded with an almost giddy expression. "Well I for one wish that I was meeting her on better terms." Runa added. "Don't worry. You will probably be allowed to join in the fun if you want. Luna is only mad at him." "Midnight, even though I love you I hate you sometimes." she just smiled and started ushering people back. It did not take Luna long to reach us from that point. "Hi Lun-" "Don't you hi Luna me. You have a lot to make up for. I spent a few hours on a homemade meal for the three of us and you just disappear. Then when I find you, you are on what I assume are warships." "You would assume right. Ōkami save me and my people from a dying world, on the condition that we join your soon to be town." Runa said which drew Luna's attention to her. Luna walked around her, "Good posture, Seems to be a good leader, and not afraid to make herself know. Welcome. I also assume that there was the option that you could try and be apart of our relationship?" "Yes there was why?" "Well do you plan to?" "I am considering it." "Ok." Luna grabbed me and Runa in her magic, "Midnight meet me at the house. We have a naughty human to discipline." "Danse tell the men to get comfortable, but to not shoot anything that doesn't attack first!" Runa yelled as we were carried away. ***** Well to say the least, I am glad magic is a thing. Runa has decided to join us, but not in the bedroom activities. Midnight apparently has a very perverted side of her, but so does Luna. I don't know who is worse. Runa had sent a message to the Prydwen and had Codsworth move to the house. None of us complained because he was made to do things around a home. So currently the four of us are sitting in the dining room that I have just used for the first time since this house was constructed waiting for Codsworth to finish making breakfast, "So that happened." Runa said nervously. "Yeah it did. Just wait for your turn though. Ōkami will only be able to watch." Midnight said with a smile. "Can we not talk about this at the table? Maybe on the flight to Pevensey or when Celestia gets here just to screw with her." I said. "What makes you think that my sister will be coming?" Luna asked. "Let's see. Last night what could be described as an invading army appeared out of nowhere and is currently setting up base at the foot of Pevensey Castle. I don't know what could possibly lure her over here to bitch at us." I responded sarcastically. As if on cue there was a knock on the door, "I'll get it Mum." Codsworth said as he placed a towering plate of pancakes on the table. Then he flew off towards the door. When it opened I could already hear the sound of Celestia yelling. I sighed and placed four pancakes on my plate. Them being buttered by Codsworth all I had to do was put syrup, but before I could do that Codsworth flew threw the room and hit the wall. Runa Jumped up and drew her .44 and aimed it at Celestia. "Stop" was all I said and they were frozen. I took the gun from Runa and the spell wore off, "No killing royalty. Trust me there is many times that I want to do it myself." I look at the pissed Celestia, "Celestia please don't destroy my friends or their friends. Codsworth was just trying to let us eat. There was no reason to hurt him." I placed the .44 back on the table and looked at Runa, "Do you have any civilian clothing?" she was currently wearing the black BoS jumpsuit. "No." "We can take care of that latter then. Now Celestia why are you disturbing my breakfast?" I asked as calmly as possible. "I came to ask why there was an armada armed to the teeth at that castle of yours?" she asked with a forced smile. "Oh that is just the people that I helped save from a world that was dying." I responded as I poured syrup onto my pancakes, "So other than that is there any reason that you have disturbed my precious family time?" she shook her head, "Then unless you are going to join us for breakfasts, I will have to ask you to leave." "Ōkami I will never know how you can be so calm yet be pissed all the same." Luna said between each fork of pancakes. "I might as well join you." Celestia said as she pulled up a chair and sat down, "May I have a plate?" "Right away ma'am." Codsworth said. "I will never understand how he is so forgiving. I know he is a robot but still." Runa said. "Before I forget." I started, "Runa this is Luna's sister Celestia. Celestia this is Runa, the leader of that fleet you are so concerned with." after I said that Celestia just eyed Runa until Codsworth came back in with her plate.   “Here you go ma’am.” Codsworth said as he set the plate down.   “Thank you.” Celestia said as politely as possible.   “Now was that so hard Celestia? All I ever ask for is politeness to the ones who deserve it.” I said with a slight smile, “Now if only we could teach that to the nobles in Canterlot. Then I might actually go visit you.”   “Ōkami can you not be such a jerk to ninety percent of everyone?” Celestia asked.   “Now you sound like a little kid. Celestia do we need to have a talk or are you going to ask your age and not your hoof size?” I heard gasps all around the room, “What?” I ask innocently, “She is acti-” I was interrupted by a beam of magic that sent me into a wall, “That was not nice.” I said as I picked myself up off the ground, “I didn’t mean to insult you Celestia. I was just stating a fact.”   “You need to learn what you can and can not say.” she grumbled as she started eating some pancakes.   “So sister how are things in Canterlot?” Luna asked.   “Things could be better. Since the wedding I have had many nobles request that I send the guard to exterminate the changelings.”   “Well they can go shove it.Nothing we do falls under your jurisdiction. The Lunar-Keyguard is not part of Equestria or any nation. The only reason we even live here is because the Castle does not have room for us at the moment. Once reconstruction is done this house can become a vacation home or something.” I said which strangely caused Celestia to laugh, “What’s funny?”   “Just that I have been telling the nobles that and they just complain that since you are based in Equestria so you must serve Equestria.” she responded, “So when will I be able to see what you are doing over at that castle?”   “Never unless you fix my spell gun. I may be able to use magic with my keyblade, but it is not as diverse as the spell gun was.”   “I think that I can handle that. Have it sent to my tower and I shall have it done.”   “Thank you.” I responded with a smile.   “I am so confused right now.” Runa said, “Just a moment ago you two were about to fight and now you are acting like best friends. What is with that?”   “That is what happens with Ōkami. He purposely pisses Celestia off just for the fun of it. He did the same to most of the nobles.” Midnight responded.   “Yeah it is actually pretty fun.” I said, “The part that sucks is when they don’t know your screwing with them and they actually get butt hurt.”   “My head hurts.” Runa moaned.   “Yeah, don’t try to understand him. Me and my sister gave up on that not long after we met him. He acts first thinks later.” Celestia said.   “He does a lot of other things.” I turned and saw Seresutia standing just outside of a dark portal, “Sadly I don’t think he remembers them.” she said in a voice full of venom.   “Seresutia…..” I said.   “Oh so you remember my name now? A bit late for that. Core promised me that I would be the one to end you.”   “What has he done to you? You used to love life and only fought to preserve it.”   “Yeah, I guess I did, but when the one you loved for five years suddenly can’t even remember your name, you change. So get over it.”   “Why did you come here?” Luna asked.   “I came to tell this ass that the next time we see each other it will be on the field of battle.” she slowly stepped back into the portal and vanished.   “I’m done eating.” I stated as I stood and walked outside. Once outside I started walking aimlessly into the forest. Every so often a heartless would appear and I would strike it down. I could feel the darkness growing inside me. Fighting what little light I had for control, and the longer I held it in the worse it got. I stumbled upon a large clearing and in the center of it was two darksides, “I’m not in the mood for this.” I summoned One and got into a fighting stance. One of the darksides threw a ball of darkness at me, “Reflect.” I sent the ball back at it, “Midnight’s Hunt!” suddenly the clearing became dark and a full moon sat in the sky. I could feel the darkness within me pulsing in excitement. Suddenly jet black wolves with red eyes ran past me and attacked the two darksides. Once the onslaught of wolves was over, the sun returned to the sky, “That is a new one.” I ran at the two and threw One in a strike raid. One of the darksides knocked it away. Once One hit the ground the two darksides started approaching me. They stopped a little ways away from me and they raised their hands and started forming a sphere of darkness, “This will hurt.” I summoned One back to me and started to try and run out the range for their attack but they just launched it at me. I turned around and tried to block it, but it was just too strong for me.   *****   Ōkami fell to the ground. Out of the shadows five thestrals walked into the field, “Echo, go check on him. Shadow, Druniik, and Silent come with me. Those two need to be taken care of.” the head thestral said. Echo went to Ōkami and picked him up and moved him into the shadows. The other four approached the two darksides. Each of the four summoned a keyblade and charged the darksides. The four were a blur as they flew around the darksides hitting them. It did not take them long to destroy the two. The four who were fighting joined Echo in the shadows, “ Echo is he ready to be brought to his castle?”   “Yes he is Drem. I think it would be best if we get him to his people.” she responded calmly as she picked Ōkami up.   “Guardians move out.” Drem ordered before they started for Pevensey Castle. The five moved slowly as they approached the castle, “We don’t know how they will react, so be on guard.” slowly the area before them filled with thestrals. Every one of them standing ready with a keyblade. Luna and Midnight land in front of the group.   “Who are you and why is Ōkami unconscious?” Luna asked.   “Mistress, this man was fighting two darskides by himself. We got there as just as he got knocked out.” Echo responded.   “As for who we are, my name is Drem, this is Druniik, that is Shadow, she is Silent, and the one holding Ōkami is Echo. We are the Guardians. Trained by the masters before us. Our heritage is traceable back to our five ancestors who fought to save our world from darkness.”   “You are the last five.” Midnight said in disbelief.   “The last five for what?” Drem asked.   “A ritual to awaken the full potential of Ōkami’s keyblade. I don’t know all of it, but it was something the ten who defended our world did in their attempt for us to escape.” she responded   “It is nice to finally find someone who knows about our past  even just a little. We were under the impression that the other ten bloodlines were gone. That is the only reason we did not seek any of them out.” Drem said, “So what is Ōkami’s story? How did he get such great respect from all of you?”   “For me he became a friend and then much more once I returned.” Luna responded with a smile.   “For me and the others here it is that he always puts everyone else before himself. He has already almost died a couple times just so no one else would have to fight.” Midnight said getting agreements from the surrounding thestrals.   “If that is the truth then we shall stay to help train all of you.” Drem said, “It also seems that we are the only masters on this world.”   Ōkami fell to the ground and started grumbling.   *****   I slowly opened my eyes as I pushed myself off the ground. When I looked around I saw almost every thestral, Midnight, and Luna standing in front of me. I then looked to my left and saw five thestrals that I didn’t know, “Would someone be so kind as to explain what the hell is going on here?" after a brief explanation from everyone I sighed, “Well at least we have five actual masters to train us. But just a question, which keyblades do you use?”   “I use Ultima Weapon.” Drem responded.   “I use Silent Dirge.” Silent added. “I use Rejection of Fate.” Druniik added.   “I use Pumpkinhead.” Shadow added.   “And I use Divewing.” Echo finished.   “Well to say the least, I am glad that you five showed up. The only problem is that now that all ten bloodlines have been found. The corrupted versions of your ancestors will be sent here by Core.” I said.   “Who is Core?” Drem asked.   “That would be me.” I turned and saw Core walking up behind us, “Ōkami I am disappointed in you. You had the chance to convince that little bitch Seresutia to join you and you failed.” I could hear the call of darkness once again, but I ignored it and focused on the good things that I have right now, “So you learned to suppress the darkness in your heart. Good for you.” Slowly I was surrounded by ten different thestrals, “Are you guys going to try and protect the pup? Because let's face it. He is no wolf.” I summoned Two Become One and it started to glow.   “They are not here to protect me.” I said, “They are here to give me a power boost” I clinched my left hand and another keyblade appeared as my clothes became white, “I will never give into your tricks Core. Not while I have something to fight for.”   “So I will just have to take that away then?” he reached into a portal and pulled out Seresutia by her throat, “You see, I know that she is the only reason you fight so hard.” he snapped her neck and let her body fall to the ground. I lost it. The world slowed as I charged at Core and started swinging my keyblades. He managed to block most of my swings but a few got through and hit him. He grabbed both my keyblades and swiftly kicked me in the chest making both my keyblades disappear and my clothes return to normal, “Even with nothing to lose you could only scratch me. Pitiful.” he spat. Seresutia’s body erupted into darkness as it faded, “You will never be worth anything even with your new found powers.” he walked into one of his portals and was gone. > New Toys > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seresutia walked through the Door to Darkness she used to go torment Ōkami. She was inside of her room at Cores base in the realm of darkness. From what she was told she was lucky. Core was the nicest to her so far, but no one knew why. He managed to give her an actual keyblade. Even though she didn’t want one. He said that it would help her in her mission to punish Ōkami. During her time here she has really stayed to herself. Mainly due to the fact that she does not have anything in common with anyone else Core has picked up from Earth. Seresutia opened the door to her room and walked down a long dark hallway, “Time to see how Core deals with things he didn’t plan out being done.” she said as she approached a large set of door, “He really needs to turn the dramatics of things down and be more practical with his building.” she muttered as she pushed one of the large doors open. Inside the room was rows of shelves, every one filled with books. In the center of the rows of book shelves was a single large table. As Seresutia walked further in the dimly lit library she could see Core sitting at the end of the table, “Core it seems that Ōkami is getting a little comfortable in his new life. Shouldn’t we do something to mess him up?” “What did you do?” he asked in a cold voice. “I just went and messed with him a little. That was it I swear.” Seresutia didn't have time to react before Core used the darkness to hold her in place. “You will sit here while I go and punish your friend for you going without any permission. I will even let you watch.” Core opened a DTD and walked through. Some type of screen appeared in front of Seresutia and it showed Ōkami in a circle of thestrals. Core was just talking to him then suddenly he opened another DTD and pulled out a clone of Seresutia and snapped its neck. Ōkami lost it. He started to just attack without regard for his own safety. “It is almost like he only cared about saving me, and now that he thinks I am dead he fights like he has nothing to lose.” she said sorrowfully. Watching the fight Seresutia started to regret her deal with Core. She started to fight the darkness binding her in place, and in the progress she summoned the Keyblade One Winged Angel in her right hand. Her hand broke free and she slammed the Keyblade into the darkness on her feet, and finally the one one her left arm. When she hit the ground she immediately ran out the library and went straight to her room to gather what little she owned. With her one bag packed she opened a DTD and went through it. ***** I ran, ignoring everyone's pleas for me to stop. I couldn't believe that be would kill her like that. I lost track of how long I was running. All I know it that there is a portal appearing before me and I am going through it. ***** Seresutia stepped out the DTD and looked around. She stood in what seem to be a space station or space ship, “Where am I?” Footsteps could be heard as what appeared to be soldiers rounded the corner of the hall she was in, “Who are you and how did you get aboard the Archangel?” a guy with brown hair in blue and white jumpsuit. “I just appeared here. I don’t even know what the Archangel is.” she responded defensively, “I was just looking to escape from a very bad guy.” “Everyone stand down and return to your stations.” a woman said as she approached the soldiers, “She is obviously lost and does not realise where she is.” “Yes Captain!” the soldiers responded and left leaving Seresutia, the guy in the jumpsuit, and the Captain. “My name is Murrue Ramius, Captain of the Archangel, and this young man is Kira Yamato. He pilots the Freedom gundam.” Murrue said with a smile. “Captain another Archangel class ship approaches.” a voice said over the intercom. “Come with me to the bridge. Kira get to the Freedom and prepare for launch.” ***** I walked through the halls of some type of futuristic ship. “All hands to battlestations. The Archangel is almost within weapon range.” a female voice said as red flashing lights came on through the hall. Soldiers ran past me, but not a one cared that I was there. I decided to follow them. As I ran behind the soldiers I saw signs that pointed towards the hanger. I decided to have a look inside and what I saw made me gasp. “I can't believe it. I should have recognized the name Archangel. Maybe I could find a Mobile Suit or a Gundam.” I used the shadows to my advantage as I moved towards the back of the hanger. Once there I found a black GAT-01 Strike Dagger. Quietly I climbed up into the cockpit and started the boot sequence. “Time to see if the show and games were accurate when they made these things.” once the systems were finished booting up, I made a few test movements, “Wish I had an instruction manual.” I grumbled. “GAT-01, who authorized your system activation?” a voice asked over the coms. I ignored them as I moved sneakily to the slingshot, “GAT-01 stand down!” the voice yelled. “This is Alpha Wolf. Launch!” I yelled as I was shot into space quickly. The GAT-01’s thrusters kicked on to help me maneuver. I sped my way into the fight before me. ***** Seresutia ran to the crew quarters as she was told by the Captain. She didn't like the idea of bidding but at the moment it was all she could do. When she was passing the door for the hanger, her Keyblades summoned itself and started to pull her into the room, “Why are you pulling me in here?” she asked not expecting an answer ‘So that way you can fight and free your heart. I can sense three of my siblings here. They are all held by one heart.’ Once she was standing in the center of the hanger the tip of One Winged Angel started to glow as it was pointed at the ground. A large ring of light and darkness formed around her as wind started to rush upward around her. Suddenly there was a flash and she sat in the cockpit of a large Mobile Suit. 'This is the Black Winged Gundam. I pulled it from one of this world's reflections for you to use.’ Seresutia gripped the controls and smiled, “Let's have some fun.” slowly she made her way to the catapult and locked it in place, “Captain Ramius. This is Seresutia preparing for launch in the Black Winged Gundam.” she said into the coms. “I'm not even going to ask where that came from. Our forces are getting destroyed out there. You are go for launch.” Ramius responded. With a jolt the Gundam launched forward, “Now let's end this fight.” ***** I blasted my way through another group as I moved my way towards the enemy's ship. There was one Mobile Suit that was destroying anything that got in its way. The sensors showed it as the Freedom. That was the only one that I was not going near. Suddenly a black and gold Gundam with black wings clashed with my saber. ‘Careful Ōkami. This one holds one of our brothers.’ “Well shit.” I opened a com to the Black Gundam, “I am Ōkami, who are you?” “Ōkami how did you get here?” a voice I never thought I would here again asked. “Seresutia? I saw Core kill you.” “That ass hat killed a clone of me. He wanted to break you. I left his side. I was hoping to find you, and say I'm sorry. Please fight with me so we can end this pointless one-sided battle.” “Yes let's finish this.” Suddenly there was a blinding flash as the GAT-01 changed. ‘You have truly found your light’ a voice whispered in my head. Suddenly I was no longer sitting in the GAT-01, but I was sitting in the Gundam Wolf. “That was quite the trick there Ōkami.” Seresutia said with a slight giggle. “Don’t ask me how it happened.” I responded. “Seresutia what are you doing? We need you to keep going Kira can only do so much by himself.” a women said over the coms. “Captain Ramius, we now have another to help in our defense.” Seresutia said over the coms, “Ōkami let's show these people how we did things back on earth.” both me and Seresutia outstretched one of our Gundams hands and our Keyblades appeared. “Only cripple. We don't need to become the monsters.” I said before we shot off back into the fray. The two of us slices through the enemy forces. As we moved, it was almost like a dance. With almost no effort the tides were turned and they were retreating. The only problem was that their ship was still closing in on us. Twin barrels raised out of the ship’s bow, and they started to glow, “Everyone scatter. Seresutia with me.” I ordered. Surprisingly everyone listened, “Why need to be in between that ship and ours, or everything will be lost.” I told Seresutia as we moved into position. “How do you know so much about this?” she asked. “Because this is one of those shows that I like to watch. So I know some of the armaments of the ships. That cannon will destroy just about anything it hits, but we can stop it.” I focused and switched into Final form, “Be ready to use reflect.” the ship fired and we stood ready, “Reflect!” I yelled. The force from the beam was pushing me back. Seresutia flew next to me, ”Universal Mirror!” she yelled causing the beam to shoot back at the ship. “Where did you learn that?” I asked. “Surprisingly I just figured it out. I was thinking of reflect as a small mirror. Reflect was not enough alone so I thought of something bigger and that was the result.” she explained. “Let's get to the Archangel. I feel like some explaining has to be done.” “Yeah probably.” she agreed. Few Minutes Later We stood on the bridge of the Archangel, with Murrue Ramius and Kira, “Could you please explain it to me again?” Murrue asked. “They are interstellar travelers who use weapons called Keyblades to fight darkness. It is not that hard to understand.” Kira explained. “It is amazing how easily you caught onto that Kira. Now Murrue if you would allow I would send some of my people here to select and train you fighters to use  Keyblades to defend your world from the darkness.” I said. “I don't have a problem with that. It would be nice to have reassurance with what you said is out there.”she responded. “Just don’t judge a book by its cover when she shows up. She may not look like us, but she is one of our best fighters.” I summoned One and made a portal to home. Midnight slowly walked through and marvelled at the technology, “Midnight I would like you to stay here and train some of Captain Ramius’ fighters. And select the ones who do the best to get a Keyblade. When they feel that they are ready have them come find me and I can have one of the masters oversee their mark of mastery.” “Yes, sweetheart. Just make sure to tell Luna that I won't be home for a bit.” Midnight responded as she nuzzled my side. Kira looked at me then to Midnight and then back to me, “You're dating a pony?” “When you live on a world of them it don't bother you. Just don't think to far into it.” I responded, “Well me and Seresutia will be heading out, but first we need to grab our Gundams.” “They are fully stocked, and ready to go.” Kira responded. I waved as we left the bridge, “Thanks.” I called out as we left. Neither of us talked on the way to the hanger. Once we both got to our Gundams I opened a DTL for me and Seresutia to walk through. ***** Once we came through the portal warnings started to go off left and right as we fell through the sky. I turned and saw Seresutia open the wings of her Gundam and the jets turned on. I quickly activated my jets and slowed my descent. Once we finally touched the ground I realized just how large these things were. The Black Winged Gundam stood almost as tall as Pevensey Castle, and my Gundam Wolf was not much shorter, “So where are we going to park these things?” Seresutia asked. “In front the castle for now.” I responded as I moved towards the front of the castle. Everyone was scattering. The only ones who didn't budge was the five masters. All of which had their Keyblades at the ready. I made the Gundam Wolf kneel so I could exit. Seresutia did the same with the Black Winged Gundam, “I'm back!” I called out in a playful manner. “We can tell.” Drem growled, “Things like this is why only the ones that have seen you put your life on the line trust you. You scared just about everyone here with those giant robot things.” “Man you need to loosen up.” Seresutia said with a small smile, “I thought Core’s people were hard asses sometimes.” “Ōkami are you sure it is safe for her to be here? She was with Core after all.” Echo asked. “I left that asshat when he used a clone of me to try and break Ōkami. Yeah I was mad at him, but I think Core was twisting my thoughts.” she responded. I heard the air whistling behind me. I turned and braced just before Luna slammed into me almost knocking me over, “I missed you too. Midnight will be gone for some time. She is training some warriors from another world.” I said. She let go of me and slapped me in the face, “Don't you ever leave like that again. I don't care if you came back with two badass robots and a very pretty girl to add to the herd. You could have been killed. For now on at least one of us has to go with you.” Luna said with teary eyes. “You do realize that means all of you will need Keyblades right?” I ask as I wipe a tear from her cheek, and she nods, “Well that settles it. I will need to contact someone to help me sort through everything. Hopefully Zeke can give me some advice.” > I Have No Chance > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ōkami walked through the halls of Pevensey Castle. Since he returned from the world of Gundams with Seresutia, his other girlfriends have received keyblades from the Guardians and have started training. Ōkami was looking for Seresutia so they could go off world and meet with Zeke, “Where could she be?” he asked as he passed the training grounds. As he walked he watched his Guards train, but to his surprise in the midst of everyone who was training Seresutia was standing in the middle of the five Guardians, all of which had their Keyblades at the ready. The five thestrals charged Seresutia and tried to overwhelm her but she used their eagerness to attack against them. She spun and swept their feet from under them with her own keyblade. Ōkami walked into the training field earning many salutes from the training Keyblade wielders. As he gets closer to the six he starts to clap, “You five do remember that she was with Core for a while right?” The five only rub their heads, “Go take a break.” Seresutia said. The Guardians nodded and walked away, “So what did I do that you had to come interrupt training?” “Nothing. I just thought you would like to meet Zeke. You know the guy who has the X-blade. I am going to his world today and I would like for you to come with me.” “Sounds fun. Time to see why Core don't like him. He never gave me an answer when I asked.” They all split up and Moon Dancer rushed to Zeke’s office. She found it locked and knew he had to be in there. She pointed her Keyblade, Starseeker, at the lock and it opened. She saw her husband sitting in the corner, looking rather depressed. “Zeke?” She asked, walking over to him and then sitting next to him. “So...what was that all about?” “Just...my birthday has never been a good thing. Every year back on earth people get hurt, or worse. Born with red eyes so they make those birthdays count, they become even worse than normal.” He said, shifting a bit. “Not something worth celebrating in my opinion.” “That was back on earth, this is Equestria..Daybreak.” She kissed his cheek. “And we’re your family now. We wanna celebrate your birthday, everyone does.” “I know...just can’t help think something’s gonna happen.” “Come on, Daybreak Empire is the safest world in this Reflection, what could happen here?” The whole building suddenly shook as alarms began to ring out. “Called it.” Zeke said, getting up and jumping out his Window, turning X into a glider to get a view of…”A giant robot...that’s...new…” Ōkami and Seresutia both stared at the army of Keyblade wielders that was approaching them, “I think we fuck up bringing the Gundams.” Ōkami said through the coms. “Yeah I think so.” Seresutia responded, “Should we show them our keyblades?” “It can't hurt can it.” they both summoned their Keyblades. Ōkami’s Gundam held Two Become One and Seresutia’s held One Winged Angel. Seconds passed, the army was getting nervous while Ōkami and Seresutia were feeling anxious. Then, suddenly, countless Keyblades floating all on their own surrounded every inch of their Gundams. Ōkami watched the keyblades, “This is definitely different.” he said quietly, “Seresutia just let them do what they are doing.” “Ya know.” A voice, familiar to Ōkami spoke. He looked, and saw Zeke standing on top of the head of Seresutia’s Gundam. “Most everyone in the universe knows better than to attack Daybreak Empire? You new or stupid?” “Now Zeke that is no way to greet a friend.” Ōkami said through the speaker on his gundam. Zeke was puzzled for a moment before the gears turned, then clicked. “Ōkami?” “The one and only.” he responded. Zeke sighed. “It’s alright men, stand down. It’s a friend of mine.” Zeke snapped his fingers, all the Keyblades disappearing at his will. “Get out of those things, no wonder you set the alarms off.” Zeke said, jumping the sum fifteen or twenty stories of Seresutia’s gundam on to the ground, making the dust rise and create an imprint of his shoes in the dirt...a rather deep one. He walked out of it. “You landing or what?” He called up. Ōkami and Seresutia landed their Gundams in a park. The two large machines took a knee as their cockpits opened. Ōkami jumped down and was followed by Seresutia, “So Zeke this is your world?” “Yeah, really something after...well, when I got here let’s just say it was rather...empty...So what brings you here and what’s up with the giant robots?” “One I was hoping you could help me with organizing my Lunar Key-Guard and as for the Gundams. Well lets just say that is the only means of transportation that I have that protects us when we travel.” “Sounds like you’ve been busy. So what needs to be done exactly?” “Well at the moment there is five keyblade masters who call themselves the Guardians, and about another ten thousand or so thestrals that need to be trained, and on top of that I can’t restore the old castle properly with what I have on my world.” “Let’s head to my office, we can discuss it further there.” Zeke said, leading the way. The second they entered a main road of the city Ōkami and Seresutia noticed all the decorations...and images of Zeke. “What is with all these pictures of you?” Sersutia asked. Zeke groaned heavily. “Wives found out today is my birthday and told the whole city. Since I’m a big deal the whole city was ready to celebrate, hell, even other worlds in our Unity are. You can imagine my dislike.” “Yeah I can. Even when Core would give me run of his facility I wouldn't because I hated the attention.” she responded. “My dislike comes from another source…” Ōkami patted his shoulder, “You don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to.” “I just want today to be done with quickly.” Zeke muttered, leading the two into the castle and up to his office. He took a seat, as did Ōkami and Seresutia. “So, first order of business, what exactly is needed from Daybreak and how can you either repay and/or make even with trade?” “Well we need people willing to train a race of ponies who were once proud warriors of Dawn, and a team of construction workers for the castle. As for how we can repay or trade. I have the collective forces of the Minutemen and Brotherhood of Steel from the Commonwealth. They can be added to your list of soldiers.” “Daybreak also has full Brotherhood access, the NCR, New Vegas, the reformed remnants of Caesar's Legion, the Followers of The Apocalypse, The New Caninates, well, what’s left of them, and so forth. To be blunt Ōkami, manpower is not our issue, it’s resources honestly.” “We have also made allies in the world that we got our Gundams from. One of my girlfriends is currently training some of them to use a keyblade.” “Again I state, Resources are our issue. That’s the issue with running a universe wide government.” “The world of Gundams is actually an entire universe of galaxies and so forth. There is plenty of planets that we could use for resources that they have no need for. I will be returning there in the near future to see the state of the war that is happening there, and if I can end it quickly.” “That’s all and good but the main resource we need is synthesis items. They are needed to make new Keyblades, the Crystals hearts that keep towns and cities safe, and so on.” “That I don’t know if I could help with. There is very little heartless activity on any worlds I have been to, and it seems like Core is ignoring me for the most part.” “You’re not the only one. Fact is his presence has been quiet here too. Unversed can go through the heart’s barrier but none have appeared for close to a month already. Citizens are relaxed by this but the government isn’t. Our teams in the realm of darkness have pulled up little on his activities there too. It’s as if he either isn’t caring anymore, or is, I dunno, on vacation or something.” “He is messing with something called the Heart of Darkness. He is gathering certain people from reflections to try and make something with it.” Seresutia chimed in. “So you knowing that means you worked with Core, right? And he just let you leave?” “He punished me by making me watch as he killed a clone of me in front of Ōkami. Once he did that I ran. I left the Realm of Darkness and went to the closest world. That is where I found Ōkami in a Gundam of sorts.” “Huh.” Zeke began thinking. “The fact he hasn’t sent anything after you to kill you means he’s planning something more worth the effort. In the time you’ve been with him did anything of interest happen?” “Only that from what I was told he treated me better than most of the others he had there.” “Hmm...Pawn. He was using you as a disposable pawn. He could tell right off the bat you weren’t suited for his usual work so he used fear and threats to keep you in line. You running off and not being attacked means he cared less about you than one cares about dust.” “That sounds about right, but what I want to know is how he gave me this.” Seresutia summoned One Winged Angel. “Let me see that.” Zeke asked, holding out a hand. Seresutia handed Zeke her Keyblade, “Is there something wrong with him?” “We’ll see.” Zeke said as he took it. As soon as he grabbed it black electricity began trying to zap Zeke. “Yeah...there’s an issue.” “What is wrong?” “Wing here is a dawn Keyblade, yet there’s more darkness than there should be.” A different voice spoke from Zeke, spooking Ōkami and Seresutia. “Zeke what the hell was that?” Ōkami asked. “The X-blade.” Zeke replied nonchalantly. “Long story short, got possessed by the Keyblade graveyard, became a human Keyblade, and I can talk to Keyblades and they can talk through me. That voice was X.” “Well then. I know that I can talk to One when I meditate but that is it. Sometimes they talk to me when I am doing something, but very rarely.” “I can also store Keyblades in my heart, like those you find in the Keyblade Graveyards. Keeps them from rotting and going insane, it’s just till they find their wielders. Those that appeared around your robots, those were some of them. I can call for their help when needed.” “That is pretty cool actually. I can call shadow wolves to help me fight.” Ōkami said. “Well abilities aside, let’s see what’s up with Wing here.” Zeke said, summoning X and putting One Winged Angel on the table. He stood and tapped One Wing Angel with X, and it became ethereal, an orb of light and pulsating darkness were at it’s hilt and Keychain. There was something attached to it’s darkness on both. “Found this out by accident. Show’s the heart of a Keyblade. So something it attached to it’s darkness. Core’s doing likely. Now...how do we remove it?” “Please figure something out. I grew to enjoy having him around when I was alone. I figured out how to communicate with him not long after getting him from Core.” Seresutia pleaded. “Any idea’s X?” “Well, Reject Darkness should work.” “Oh yeah.” Zeke said, stabbing the X-blade’s tip into the orb. “Reject Darkness.” There was a flash of light from the X-blade, traveling into One Winged Angel, and the thing attached to it’s dark half began spasming wildly. Both the one in the hilt and the one in the Keychain. After a bit two Neoshadows sprang out, quickly dissolving from the Heart of Daybreak killing their darkness. “Welp...that worked.” One Winged Angel turned normal, and Zeke gave it back to Seresutia. “Thank you so much. I’m glad we came here.” Seresutia said. “Meh, It’s no big deal.” “For me it is. I want Angel to be at a hundred percent.” “At full potential Wing there can split a person's heart in half. The darkness and Light halves freed, and with enough power, even a world’s heart.” X added. “So that could be why Core gave him to me.” “Likely, if he could twist you, you can make allies out of enemies for him at the drop of a hat. Any Keyblade can do that, but it’s risky, only someone with experience in darkness, of a pure hearted Keyblade master can do it safely.” “So if he could twist her and make her fight you, she could split you and X into two of each other. Meaning a light X-blade and a dark X-blade.” Ōkami said. “There is the problem in that, one is that Zeke’s heart is balanced, his darkness and light get along well, so they both would team up against him, and two being me and Zeke’s new heart. Second Zeke get’s split I vanish back to Kingdom Hearts, and to split Zeke’s heart, Core would have to somehow go through every Keyblade stored in it, that’s eighty Keyblade Graveyards worth. They won’t let something happen to Zeke that easily.” “It was just an idea, but even so without you being in Zeke’s hands it would be easier for him to win.” “Well with that out of the way we can work something out. I’ll need to speak to any and all world leaders from your reflection if that’s possible?” “I am one of them. Celestia won’t be a problem. The others on the other hand I don’t know.” Ōkami responded “What’s the issue?” “Not a one likes me or Celestia at the moment.” “...What did you do?” “I don’t know is the problem. I have honestly spent more time in comas than interacting with the other nations. That is all Luna and Midnight.” “Ah. Well I’ll talk with Celestia, just bring the ones you can to...Canterlot I guess. Alright?” “Sounds good. How will I let you know that we are ready?” “It won’t be much. Just...Tell One to send a message to X and he’ll tell me.” “Ok. So anything else we can do while we are here? I know you have a lot of girls, but I have only met Unum so far.” Ōkami said. “Later...I kinda...ran off when my wives surprised me with a...well, surprise party. They might be peeved so I wanna let them calm down some.” Zeke said as he opened up a DTL to Ōkami’s reflection. “You do know that they might just be worried right?” Seresutia asked. “Yeah but then they’ll force me to celebrate my birthday and...I just don’t like my birthday.” “So come with us and see what we have going on in our reflection.” Ōkami suggested. “Sound’s like a plan.” Zeke said, walking in. Ōkami looked outside the window and opened two DTLs under the Gundams sending them back to the castle. They then followed Zeke through the portal. They exited the DTL in front of the Canterlot Gardens. “Alright, I’ll talk with Sunbutt, you two get...whoever you can.” Zeke said as he walked through the gardens, looking for the castle entrance. “So I’ll go get Luna you go get Iron Claw.” Seresutia said as she turned Angel into a black and red version of Aqua’s glider. “Of course she gives me that ass hat of a bird.” Ōkami said as he made One into a glider. Celestia was sitting on her throne listening to some nobles complain about the sudden increase of armed aliens in the Everfree, “I am sorry but Ōkami and my sister control that section of the forest. I cannot do anything to stop them from giving people a home there.” “But Princess Celestia, it is obvious that Nightmare Mo-” “LEAVE THIS ROOM AT ONCE!!” Celestia shouted causing the noble to run out the throne room and past Zeke. “Found it.” Zeke said, walking in. “Well that was loud.” He spoke, gaining Celestia’s attention. “Who are you, and why does this seem like one of Ōkami’s jokes?” “Huh, never pegged him a prankster. But no, I’m from a different reflection, or, plainly put, a parallel universe.” “So what do I owe the pleasure of you crossing the roads between to reach here? “Ōkami want’s help building his thing, And this would not be the first reflection we add to our Unity, we offer technology, knowledge, training, and other good stuff.” “So why talk to me? Ōkami tends to act without thinking so I would have assumed that he would have just added us to your Unity without asking any one.” “Yeah...we prefer the ‘this is not a hostile takeover’ approach. Rules are there for a reason. We talk to any and all world leaders first, discuss trades and such, then we start work. Keyblades are a bonus everyone gets.” “If you make it so that only the guard and other military forces have them then I don’t mind the Keyblades. I don’t need civilians having weapons that hold so much power.” “That power varies.” X spoke to Celestia, startling the mare. “I am not even going to ask.” she said clearly confused. “Long story.” “What he said.” Zeke said, talking again. “But Keyblades can only harm those with bad intentions, save for Keyblades of Darkness, but only evil beings receive them, or those with light still in their hearts and strong enough wills to push its influence back. Basically it’s a purpose based weapon, sentient too.” “If you are certain about that then I have no reason to argue.” “I am. Plus, guards take time, threats happen in seconds. As a ruler you know every second something bad happens...means subjects hurt or...worse.” “Yes I do, and it is something I work to keep from happening all the time.” “You are just one pony, goddess of the sun or not, you are still one pony. What I strive for is having the people able to protect themselves from what can pop up unexpectedly.” “A noble cause.” a gruff voice said behind Zeke as an older grey and black Gryphon walked into the throne room. “Here is King Iron Claw.” Ōkami said as he walked in behind the Gryphon. “Kay, that’s two rulers. Anyone else coming?” Zeke asked. “Sorry we are late.” Luna called as she ran into the room followed by a panting Seresutia, “Oh, hi Zeke.” “Oh, right...forgot we met already.” Zeke admits. “That everyone then?” “That is everyone that we wouldn’t have to try and tie up and bring here.” Ōkami responded. “Alright then, so to recap so far, knowledge, Technology, Keyblades for all, everyone learns to keep themselves safe when shit hits the fan. Any questions?” “Nope.” “All good here.” “Well that is the best we could hope for. Right Zeke?” Ōkami asked. “Yes. Now to seal the Deal, those without Keyblades, raise your hands...and claws...and hooves…” Celestia and Iron Claw raised their claw and hoof respectfully. Zeke raised a hand. “Alright, all of you, pick your wielder.” Zeke said as Two Keyblades appeared and then floated around him, they each floated over to who they picked, one to Celestia, and one to Iron Claw. Iron Claw grabbed his, Gull Wing, and Celestia took hers in her magic. Oathkeeper. “Welp, there’s that. I’ll go get the paperwork.” Zeke said, opening a DTL, walking in, then ten seconds later walked out with a stack of papers. “The worst part.” Ōkami looked at Celestia’s keyblade and face palmed, “So that is where you are. Luna has Oblivion.” “Sounds about right.” Zeke said, handing everyone their own stack of paperwork. “Oath and Oblivion usually choose siblings if they don’t both choose the same wielder. Twin Keyblades, what can you do?” Everyone groaned when they got their paperwork, “I thought I got away from this stuff when I left from here and went to Ponyville.” Luna complained. “Government, paperwork is how it all stays together...and yes I hate it too. I have to go over every Scouter report when a new world is found by a Scout.” “I don’t think anyone but for Twilight Sparkle likes paperwork.” Celestia said. “No matter the Reflection that’s true.” Zeke said with a chuckle. “I don’t doubt it.” Luna said with a slight giggle, “I have met the mare twice and both times she only wanted to be learning something or doing paperwork.” “Surprised about something though… What’s with the giant Liberty prime in the distance? ...and why is it dancing?” “Pinkie and Discord………….” was all Luna said. “Cool…” Zeke said, summoning a Keyblade that looked like Discord and pointing it at the dancing robot. “Cupcake rain.” He said as the whole of Equestria began raining Cupcakes. “...Not that big…” “CUPCAKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” “I’m scared to go home.” Ōkami said. “Meh, have some.” Zeke pointed Discord at the floor as an Ōkami made of Cake appeared in front of him. “...Didn’t see that coming.” Ōkami looked at Luna to see her mouth watering, “Zeke I hate you just a little now.” “...Meh.” Zeke replied, his Discord Keyblade making Cotton Candy clouds rain chocolate milk, pastries of all kinds appearing everywhere, and Ōkami was suddenly wearing lederhosen. “Okay that last one was really unexpected.” “Fix it.” “Fine. change his clothes back Discord.” Ōkami was covered in light before it vanished and his normal clothing was returned. “Gotta let a spirit of chaos go nuts every now and then to… Oh shit I’m an idiot…” “Why are you an idiot?” Zeke picked up a cupcake off the ground, and pointed Discord at it. “Blazing Gem.” As he said that, the cupcake changed into a Blazing gem. “Discord is the answer to Daybreak’s resource issue.” “It seems so.” Seresutia said as she was holding Luna away from the cupcake Ōkami. “Seems Celestia is enjoying the buffet.” Zeke said as they looked at her, the mare devouring every pastry in sight. “She has always enjoyed pastries……..” Ōkami said. “So...that aside, mind if I ask you two a personal question?” “Sure. Go ahead.” “You...how ever many girls you’re with, got kids or trying...or able?” “I think Luna has thrown caution to the wind in that aspect. She is horny as all hell. Me, Runa, Midnight, and Seresutia on the other hand are trying to wait till we are married.” Ōkami responded. “Alright then, so as for parts to rebuild your place we have a surplus of gummi blocks. They can make...anything really.” “Alright. So when would I be expecting for the gummi blocks to be here?” “As soon as that paperwork is finished and I hand it in to the council which should be in two days.” “Sounds good.” “I can also send soldiers to train the excess tranies you got.” “Have them meet at the castle and we can distribute them from there.” “Alright.” Zeke said, stretching a bit. “Once paperwork is done we can get started. So, been to any interesting worlds?” “Not really. The only one I would consider interesting is the Gundam world but other than that nothing else.” Ōkami responded. “I was just at a Team Fortress two world before this all happened. Had fun, made some deals, fist fought Saxton Hale, good times.” “That sounds fun.” “It was. So...wanna spar? Cause I got time.” “Sure. I could use someone new to spar with. Just a question though. Would it just be Keyblades and no magic, or all of our abilities?” “Just Keyblades, my abilities are...still not sure exactly what I can do fully, but what I can do so far seems unfair for a lot of people. I’ll even use a different Keyblade other than X.” “That is your choice. I have a feeling that I won’t hit anyway. All those keyblades in you will probably stop my attacks.” “One Keyblade each, all my siblings can sit back this round.” Zeke said, giving a bow. “Alright.” Ōkami smiled, “So where would be safe for this?” “I have an idea.” Zeke said, opening a DTL he and Ōkami walked though. The two exited in a desert of sorts. “Guessed right. This is a world without life, but breathable air on my reflection too. Guess everyone either left or died.” Zeke said, walking a distance from Ōkami and summoning Master Keeper. “So we going to do this in any form of traditional combat or just fight till the other yields?” Ōkami asked as he summoned Two Become One. “Whichever.” Zeke said, taking a stance Ōkami recognized. It was a stance of a well trained swordsmen. Ōkami took a stance similar to Riku, “Your move.” “Not my first rodeo. You first.” Ōkami smirked as he slowly moved his way towards Zeke. He watched Zeke’s arms for any sign of him preparing to attack. Zeke began moving back slightly while walking sideways, He could tell Ōkami was watching for him to attack first. Crap, we’ll both be walking in circles without one of us making the leap. Zeke thought, hoping for Ōkami to make the first move. All I have to do is get him near a pile of loose sand. Ōkami thought. As soon as he finished that thought his opening appeared. About a foot to Zeke’s left was a small pile of loose sand. Ōkami ran forward but not directly at Zeke. Zeke ducked, then noticed Ōkami’s direction. Sand? Is he gonna play dirty? He thought, quickly activating his armor and jumping back a distance. “Chains!” Zeke shouted, chains of light rushing from Master Keeper’s tip and towards Ōkami. Shit! Ōkami thought as the chains rushed towards him. Moving quickly Ōkami threw Two Become One in a strike raid at the sand. The wind from the keyblade flying over caused the sand to make a form of cover. Blocking Zeke’s view of Ōkami. So he is. Heh. Zeke smirked. “Armor, activate thermal visor.” His armor did as told, Zeke now spotting Ōkami though the sand. He’s going for the listening approach then. Ōkami stood amidst the sand as he tied a piece of cloth around his eyes If he has those chains I will need to be listening for his movements. I can’t watch him and deal with them at the same time. “Reflect raid!” Zeke yelled, throwing Master Keeper. Reacting quickly to Zeke’s outburst, Ōkami raised Two Become One to block the reflect raid. While Ōkami was blocking the attack, Zeke ran up, and managed to tackle Ōkami. The two spared in the sand for a time before Zeke grabbed Two Become One and jumped back. He quickly summoned Master Keeper and Pointed it at the hand holding Ōkami’s keyblade. “Chains.” He said, those chains of light wrapping around his arm and Two Become One, keeping it tied to his hand. Ōkami chuckled, “You know now you have two keyblades.” he flexed his right hand and Lights’s Burdon appeared, “Thankfully I don’t just have one.” “Nice.” Zeke said, coming in for a charge. He cross slashed Ōkami, and he blocked them both. “Where did you learn to swordfight?” “A little back on Earth. Then some more when I arrived in Equestria about a thousand or so years ago my reflection time.” Ōkami responded as he spun and tried to slash Zeke only to be blocked. “My family taught me. We had to know how to fight better than the rest to stay alive.” Zeke said, managing to kick Ōkami back some distance. “Lucky you, without Discord I can’t use magic...but I can still use Shotlocks.” Zeke said as his body became covered in fire. “Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.” was all Ōkami said before he started to run. Zeke fired fireballs from both keyblades, each targeting Ōkami. He was fast, so half missed him, but when it was done he was still standing. “What? You can’t do that yet?” “No I can’t but I can do this.” Two Become One started to fight Zeke’s chains as Ōkami’s outfit became white. Light’s Burdon began to float next to Ōkami as he himself left the ground, “Used this on Core last time I saw him. Managed to scratch him.” Ōkami closed his eyes as he focused on Two Become One and the chains of light started to crack. “Cool.” Zeke said, looking at the now empty hand where Two Become One was. “Don’t got any Drive forms, but I did learn this from one of my top fighters.” Zeke pointed his Keyblade to the sky, a single chain of light shot out from it. “Armageddon!” Zeke yelled, bringing the Keyblade and chain down...along with a MASSIVE meteor. “Welp. I am done for.” The attack hit. Ōkami was sent flying while Zeke used his Keyblade as an anchor to stay put. When the dust and smoke settles, he spotted Ōkami some distance across from him, still in final form, still standing, and damaged pretty well. “Wow. Heh, Eclipse was out for like a week when that move was used on him. Not bad.” Zeke said, disbanding his armor. “So how about we call this a victory for you. The girls will kill me if I end up in another coma.” “I actually wanna feel how hard you can hit first. Since becoming a human Keyblade my skin is Keyblade tough. Go on, I’m wide open.” Zeke said, dropping Master Keeper and holding his arms out. Ōkami tore through the air with Two Become One and Light’s Burdon acting as wings. Once he got close Ōkami brought both his arms down in an x shape. The two keyblades followed suit and hit Zeke in the chest. Zeke didn’t move...but his clothes were now torn...and a deep x was gashed into his chest as he fell backwards, “I was not expecting that.” Heheh. A glutton for pain as ever.” A voice that wasn’t Zeke, or X spoke. Ōkami also noticed Zeke’s eyes...they looked like Core’s, from what Seresutia told him. “Who the hell are you?” Ōkami asked holding his keyblades towards Zeke Zeke’s body rose up, as if pulled by strings. ”Just what that ant Core wishes to be. A demon that hell itself fears, and only a single being dares to fight.” “So how did a demon manage to infest the one person who wishes for all this crap to be over with little bloodshed.” ”My blood has been in every Ventral since their second generation. I exist strongly in them all, but until now, never has a connection to me been so strong as with Zeke here. My blood was taken from him some time ago, but not even that can break out link.” “So you are the one who cursed his family to hell. Great.” ”Oh, on the contrary, I merely whisper the act to kill, their thirst for blood, and I get some fun when they first kill, then infamous Ventral Killing Mood. That’s always me, but they can’t handle it so it breaks after a time and they get their body back. Though, killing is my business. I’m Psychopath, the Fact of Murder, talking to you though this host. One of many I mind you.” “So you are an ass who pretty much made the biggest crime family on Earth, but you still won't actually give your power to the one guy who wants it.” ”Core may beg and plead but he can’t handle my energy. If I was to make him a host his body would burn out within days. Useless to me.” “But yet he is still trying to take it. I’m sure you could make it impossible for him to gain your power so why have you not done it if he can’t handle it?” ”I’m the fact of murder, you think I care about what he or anyone does?” The voice now sounded like thousands talking in unison. ”Which reminds us, it’s been four minutes and you’re still breathing. Let’s correct that shall we?” Before Ōkami could react the demon controlling Zeke grabbed him by his throat, “I won’t die so easily.” he said defiantly through gritted teeth. ”That’s funny, that’s what everyone who fights me says.” “Awh, you forget about me?” Psychopath and Ōkami looked back, seeing someone who looked like a brown haired, brown eyed Zeke, wearing a brown trench coat standing behind him. Ōkami took advantage of the Psychopath being distracted and went into anti form. He slipped from his grasp and moved away quickly. ”Cript, didn’t think you’d come.” “You know I’m watching these people, especially my own reflection.” ”Yes, but you and I both know this will only continue until you let fate continue.” “He and I are all that’s left, I was too late for the others, not for this one.” The man, Cript, rushed at Psychopath, stabbing some kinda sword of light though it. “Next time, leave willingly.” Zeke was now covered in Crystal, like an insect in amber. Ōkami let anti form fade as he watched the scene before him, “What just happened?” Cript put the sword away and walked over to Ōkami. “Hey, you haven’t met me yet. Name’s Cript, I’m the admin of all the realms.” “Name is Ōkami. What was that sword and what did it do to Zeke?” “That, was a humanity blade, expels all evil from a person who is possessed by it, kills those who thrive in it. It’s kicking Psycho out of Zeke there but...it will be back.” “So how many of the other survivors have you met?” “Ben, Zeke, The Foretellers, and...Eclipse. Also you. Ben, Eclipse, and the Foretellers all agreed to be in my family to gain power stronger to beat Core and other bad stuff that’s starting to leak into this multiverse.” “So you adopted them?” “It’s a bit more than that. I’m...cursed, stuff from my parents. Basically I don’t just adopt them, they become biologically my child, and one of my wives.” “And how many wives do you have?” “...I lost count after fifteen million. Don’t ask, first wife has a harem fetish and well, when you’re above gods, I just let her be her.” “Ok so……..” “Any other questions?” “Could I join your family?” “For what reason and/or just plain why?” “I am tired of always having to be saved when I am trying to protect those who cannot defend themselves. I have been put in the hospital a couple of times in just over a month or two because I was not strong enough to keep anyone safe.” “Good answer. Welcome aboard!” Cript said, holding out a hand. Ōkami grabbed his and and shook it.  He suddenly felt a pain coming from his head, back, and feet. “Oh...wow…” Cript said, tapping a device on his arm. “Why does this hurt so much?!” Ōkami almost screamed from the pain. “Cause your new biology. From your mom’s side. You’re growing horns...and wings...and new feet.” Ōkami clenched his teeth, “Who is my new mom?” the pain lessened some as the horns and feet stopped growing. “Looking.” Cript replied. “And...found her. Her name is Victoria, she’s a demon, type...Huh…” “What?” “She’s a...she’s a demon of...she’s a succubus.” “So I’m a Cambion?” “Yes. Exactly that. Expect all the mares to...well, try and fuck you. You’ll have to learn to filter that power.” “They already do. I don’t know why. I think My Luna talked them into it.” “Right, now take that and square it by five.” “Rip my pelvis.” “Actually your sex drive is, well...unlimited. It’s more rip their pelvises.” “Don’t. Tell. Luna.” “I won’t, but the pattern is the mom comes for a visit so if she does expect her to tell.” Ōkami groaned, “I hope Luna is not home when she comes. The other girls I am not worried about.” “Yeah...just...don’t be surprised to have sudden urges...and everyone around you, mare or stallion, to wanna fuck.” With that, Cript vanished into thin air. Ōkami looked at the crystal that is Zeke, “I should probably get you back to at least my Equestria.” he walked over and picked up on the crystal, and opened a DTL to Pevensey Castle. The second he walked out, he got tackled by mares he didn't’ even know...and several stallions. The looks in their eyes made Ōkami shiver. “Ōkami is that yo-” Runa stopped as soon as she saw the pile of ponies on top Ōkami, “I will count to five and you should all be off of him. One.” quickly the ponies started to get off of Ōkami, “Two.” the room was empty of all ponies at that moment, “Better.” “Thank you Runa.” Ōkami said as he stood up. At that moment the crystal around Zeke began to break, and shattered into powder as Zeke fell out, fully healed. “Owch...you hit harder than I expected.” Zeke said, standing up, then freezing when he saw Ōkami. “The hell happened to you?” “Yeah. I notice. I also met Cript when the Psychopath came out after I hit you.” “Wait, that fucker was still in me...great...least I’m not blind this time. So...you accepted Cript’s offer...you know what your mother is?” “Yeah. My mom is a Succubus now……..” Zeke stared at Ōkami before he fell on the floor laughing. “Oh! Oh that’s rich!” “Well it is true, but the plus side is that I don’t have to worry about my pelvis being destroyed.” “I have twenty wives and I didn’t worry about that before I became what I am...actually that was after...Meh. I still take my girls head on without fear wuss.” Zeke said, jumping back to his feet. “Extremely horny Luna is scary. I don’t know what her problem is. She keeps saying something about a mare named Rune that Pinkie told her she needed to meet and ask for a copy of her book.” Zeke rolled his eyes and pulled out a photo of all his wives. Ōkami looked and his jaw dropped. “Rune is the horniest, then Pinkie, Luna, Celestia, Hearts Care, Moon Dancer, etc, and on average it’s all of them on me, all night, and I still get up for work in the morning!” “I can’t do that. I have two mares and two human woman. The only one who has any form of sex drive at the moment is Luna. I actually couldn’t walk after our first go, but does your Rune have a book of sorts?” “Yeah, and she’s had us do three fourths of it. Technically I’m also a mom.” “My Luna is never going to your world and Rune is not to come here. I will meet her but not here. Not when she can give Luna that book.” “Yeah...childbirth sucks.” “I won’t even ask.” “So...you’re a succubus now...that explains why your, I’m assuming, wife is drooling at you?” “Not married yet. I want to get things sorted before I even try to have a wedding, and yes that is why she is drooling. She is also the BoS Elder and Minutemen General from her Commonwealth.” “No idea what that is.” Zeke replied. “Welp, good luck now being in a fan service anime, I’m gonna go home and hopefully make up with the wives.” Zeke said, opening a DTL and walking in. “Fuck you to. Hope Rune destroys you somehow.” Ōkami joked as Zeke left. Only to receive a middle finger before the DTL closed. Zeke exited his DTL and was in the dining room, his family still there. “Oh...I owe you all an apology...don’t I?” “That would be a start.” Celestia started. “Moon Dancer told us what you told her. I suppose we should have expected a negative reaction from the get go, but please, at least let us Celebrate your birthday Zeke, just us.” Celestia asked, walking up and grabbing Zeke’s hand. Zeke sighed. “Alright. Just us then.” “That’s all we ask.” Twilight added. “Let’s start this party!” With that, the large, but loving family celebrated while the rest of Daybreak did so silently. When all was said and Done Zeke was left with quite the mountain of presents to go though. “This is...a thing.” He said, grabbing the first box. Inside was a smaller box with a note...from Core. You have fifteen years to prepare yourself Zeke, spend it wisely, and hope it’s in happiness. Was all the note said. Zeke opened the box and inside was Core’s mask, and a photo of his castle. What angle is he doing now...and fifteen years...plenty of time to prep for war, but against him...still not enough… Ōkami looked at Runa as she slowly started to approach him, “Runa please control yourself.” She did not answer. All she did was lick her lips before she jumped on him. > Path to Purity: Part 1 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- I groaned as I woke up. Why did I get stuck like this. I was currently sandwiched between Luna and Runa. I need to get out of bed. slowly I moved to the foot of the bed and stood up. Looking around I realized that they were in his room at Pevensey Castle. Quietly I left the room and went up the stairs, “I really need to learn how to control this power of mine.” I mumbled as my wings twitched, “And I need to learn to fly.” once I was out of the Castle and was walking through the training field I noticed that only the none thestrals were looking at him lustfully. “Commander Ōkami.” a thestral said as he saluted. “At ease Night Blade. Can you tell me why only the non thestrals are affected by my new body?” I asked. “You see, us thestrals do react to it. We just have an easier time controlling our urges. It comes from us being a race of warriors.” Night responded. “Alright. Spread the word that the only non thestrals that are allowed to approach me is my girls. Anyone else has to have an escort.” “Yes sir.” “Carry on with your day.” I summoned One and opened a DTL. When I walked through, I was on the bridge of the Archangel. All talking stopped when I appeared, “I am only here for Midnight. Not to sleep with any of you.” I said blatantly receiving a few groans as they continued with their work. The Captain lead me to one of the officer's quarters and opened the door. Sitting on the bed was Midnight looking over some paperwork. “Whatever the problem is I am to busy to deal with it.” Midnight said without looking up. “You know I'm hurt that you won't even look up to see who it is.” I said with a fake expression of pain. Midnight gasped when she heard my voice, “Ōkami!” “I missed you too. Have you figured out who is worth training?” “Yes. I have also started their training. Over the last month a good hand full of the pilots have learned to use a Keyblade, but none are ready for their mark of mastery.” she responded. “I have a friend who will be sending people to train everyone with Keyblades back home. So it is time for you to come back and I can send someone here who can finish their training.” “If that is what you want, but expect you to explain why you look like a demon when we get home.” “Alright. Let's get out of here. I don't want Luna or Runa to wake up and realize that I am not there.” with that I opened another DTL and carried Midnight through. “I will be going return the paperwork for us joining Unity. I want you and the rest of the guardians coming with me.” I said as we started walking to the training field. “Any particular reason?” she asked. “I just want to give you guys time off world that don’t involve combat.” “So pretty much a vacation?” “Yeah. Go ahead and get the others. I will get what I need.” she ran off towards the training field. I chuckled and made my way to my office. It was a simple room. A single oak desk, a rolling chair, a few cabinets, and two chairs against the wall. I opened the cabinet closest to my desk and pulled out Celestia’s, Iron Claw’s, and my paperwork, “Now to head to Zeke’s world and hand this over to him.” suddenly there was a pulse of energy, “Crap. Well I guess I'll postpone that trip.” I threw the paperwork down and ran out the room. Unintentionally I began to propel myself with my wings boosting my spend. When I got to where the Guardians were waiting I summoned Two Become One and opened a portal to where the pulse came from, “I hope things go well for once.” I said as we ran through the portal. > Path to Purity: Part 2 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Guardians and I stepped out the DTL and saw a couple other fights happening in the distance, “Keep your eyes open. There is no telling what will come at us.” I ordered. Suddenly the ground next to me exploded from a magical blast, “The hell.” “Sister you missed.” a dark female Alicorn said as she approached us. “You know very well how much I enjoy playing with my food Nightmare.” I turned and saw Celestia with a flaming mane and tail wearing golden armor, “Plus I want to see if he is worth corrupting or not.” “Celestia why are you attacking us?” I asked. “I got rid of that name long ago. My name is Solar Flare.” she responded before charging her horn for another attack. She launched a volley of magic bolts, all of which were blocked by the Guardians. “You can’t win. You are outnumbered.” Drem taunted. “That is why we brought them.” Nightmare said with a sadistic grin as nine cloaked thestrals moved forward. Each holding a twisted and corrupted keyblade, “I hope you can follow your ancestors example and join our dark army.” I looked at the Guardians, “You guys handle them. Midnight and I will handle Nightmare and Solar.” “Yes sir!” they all responded with a salute before running off to face their foe. “So much better. Now that most of the weaklings are gone.” Solar started duplicating Nightmare’s grin, “Let's begin the main course.” she charged me and Nightmare charged Midnight. I held my ground with Midnight at my back, and at the last moment we dodged towards our right. Solar and Nightmare slammed into each other. It took a moment for them to regain their senses, but once they did they both fire magical volleys at us. Using our keyblades we sent their attack back at them, but before it could hit Nightmare summoned a shield and blocked the attack. “CATCH!” I yelled as I threw One in a strike raid. Midnight did the same is Dawn. Both keyblades hit their targets but they kept going. I caught Dawn and Midnight caught Two. I decided to be a little fancy and spun before I threw Dawn back to Midnight in a fire raid catching both Solar and Nightmare. Since Midnight didn’t throw One back I summoned Light’s Burdon and prepared for the coming attack from Solar. Two very distinct laughs could be heard coming from the alicorns in between me and Midnight, “That was some nice tricks.” Solar started. “But You will have to do better than that if you want to stand a chance.” Nightmare finished before they both vanished. Midnight and I were suddenly sent flying towards one another. Using what little control I had I spun myself so that our feet would connect. As our feet connected I sent Light away and grabbed One from Midnight. We pushed off from one another and flew towards our targets. I managed to strike Solar with One, but Midnight was not so lucky with Nightmare. Nightmare slammed her hooves into Midnight sending her flying into a nearby tree. I could only watch as she fell to the ground, “It seems that I have already broken my toy. Sister would you be so kind as to share yours with me?” “Well of course little sister.” Solar responded as she recovered from my attack. Both alicorns launched more magical attacks at me. I dove into the darkness that is my anti-form and moved as fast as I could from the barrage of attacks. I closed in on Nightmare and began trying to hit her. All she would do is step back as I would swing my dark claws at her, “So the little wolf thinks he can use darkness to hurt me.” she cackled. I gritted my teeth as I jumped back into the light and switched to Final form. I used my extra reach that this form gives me to my advantage. Slowly I was wearing Nightmare down, until a red shield appeared around her. “I can’t have you burning out you passion on my sister now can I?” Solar said as she moved towards me with a glaive of fire, “Let's see who’s passion burns greater.” she finished before she shot forward at an immense speed. I barely managed to block her attack. I slid back into her shield and it burned my wings, “Whats wrong? Can’t take the heat?” I gritted my teeth as I forced myself forward and readied my two keyblades. She went to stab the point of her glaive into me but I sidestepped it causing it to shatter her shield, “You bastard.” she said rubbing her forehead. A different kind of fire burnt in her eyes as she charged at me. She used her superior reach to slash at me forcing me onto the defensive. I heard something whistling through the air behind me. I moved just in time to see a sword made of I stick into the ground where I was previously standing. I looked at Nightmare and she had nine swords of I floating around her. “Now this is just unfair.” Focus Ōkami. One said in my mind. I managed to get both Solar and Nightmare in front of me, “So tell me what did Core promise you?” “He is going to let us conquer another Equestria before her returns everything to nothingness.” Solar responded. Both of the sisters charged me causing me once more to defend. I am getting nowhere like this. I looked at the Guardians and they were faring slightly better than me. The only one that was left was Drem’s ancestor, but it was taking all of them to even touch him. I refocused on the sisters when one of Nightmare’s blades of ice cut my right shoulder. “Midnight’s Hunt!” I yelled as a pack of shadow wolves assaulted the sisters, “Cure.” I said quickly not giving them a chance to interrupt me. Suddenly the wolves stopped attacking the sisters and vanished. Both of them looked pissed. I braced for what was to come as Solar vanished and the blade of her glave severed the tendons in my legs causing me to fall to the ground. Nightmare’s sadistic grin returned as she slowly drug a blade along the tendons in both my arms. “Now what shall we do with him sister?” Solar asked. “I think we should repay him for ruining our beautiful coats with those shadow muts of his.” Nightmare responded. “We could just do it to that mare you hit into the tree.” Solar said, and panic started to build inside of me. Calm yourself. Find your true power. Find the power that hides in your heart and set it free. I came out of Final form and Light disappeared, but One started to glow, Call forth the power from the light and dark corners of your heart and let them free. I closed my eyes and did as I was told. I searched my heart for the power. There is always untapped power in one’s heart. Find that well Ōkami. It is time you unleashed what your true power. My eyes shot open. One was a ghostly white while the other was as black as the darkness. Slowly I rose off the ground and the colors of my clothes changed. One side of my body was white the other was black. When I looked at my hands I saw two new keyblades. Both were shaped like One, but that is where the differences ended. One was encased in white flames the and the other was encased in the flames of darkness. “You will not touch her.” I said in a monotone voice causing the sisters to look at me. “What kind of trickery is this?” Nightmare asked. “You shouldn’t be able to move.” Solar stated. “But there is one thing that is always overlooked. I will destroy myself to protect those that I love.” I said as I moved slowly towards them. Before they could try to attack me again I threw both of my keyblades at the sisters in a double strike raid. The one made of light at Nightmare and the one of Darkness at Solar. They tried to make shields to stop the keyblades to stop the attack but they just shattered from the impact. When the keyblades hit their targets both sisters were thrown backwards. “Such power. Where is he getting it from?” Nightmare asked as she recovered. “I don’t know sister but things just got a lot harder.” Solar said as she prepared herself for her next attack. She teleported and tried to hit me from behind again but I blocked he attack with the keyblade of darkness. Causing a shockwave from the force of the impact. It did not take long for Nightmare to charge at me and try to get a hit on me with her swords. It became a back and forth battle between the three of us. When we finally split all three of us were panting. I don’t know how much longer I can keep this up. I decided to try something. I focused energy and I aimed both my keyblades at Nightmare and Solar, “Lights Eternal Shadow!” I yelled as multiple beams of light and darkness launched from the tips of the keyblades. Every shot except two hit their marks. I watched as the last two flew at Drem’s ancestor and struck him in the back causing him to fall and vanish. I looked at both Nightmare and Solar and saw them both smoking on the ground before they themselves left this world. I released the power that was flowing through me and fell to my hands an knees before I started to cough up blood, “One what was that?” I asked once I got all the blood out. That was Purity Form. It is the final stage of my power. We temporarily revert back to our own forms and give our wielder control over pure light and pure darkness. The only reason it is temporary is because prolonged use of this form can and will kill the user. Only certain beings can handle the pure forms of light and darkness for an indefinite time. “So you are saying that I could have just died. You could have told me about this before you pushed me to use it.” I didn’t get a response so I made my way over to Midnight. The Guardians saw me and followed. Once everyone was by the tree I shook Midnight to see if that would wake her. “Five more minutes.” Midnight mumbled. “Luna is wearing lingerie.” I whispered into her ear and her eyes shot open. “I hate you.” she grumbled. “Love you too, but let's get to business. I have a feeling that Core is here someplace. So we need to meet up with any other keyblade wielders who are here and see what is going on.” I stated. I looked in the direction of the closest fight and started walking. The Guardians followed. I just hope that whoever we find will be friendly. > Path to Purity: Part 3 > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ōkami and the Guardians stepped out of the DTL and looked at their surroundings, “I thought he was going to send us home?” Midnight asked. “It seems plans have changed a little.” Ōkami responded, “But something feels off about this place. Almost like something is hunting us.” “I don’t know why you feel that way.” Drem said looking at the trees of the forest surrounding them, “I think that we could use a place like this as a training facility.” “That is what the castle is for. It is better that people see their protectors rise from nothing so that they can have hope.” Ōkami said as he eyed the top of a particularly large tree in the distance, “I think we are being watched.” “Not bad.” “That voice.” Ōkami said a a chill ran up his spine, “Midnight. You and the others need to run. NOW!” “What’s the rush? Stay and talk.” Okami was suddenly spin around. He saw Zeke, different though. Pure blond hair, white clothes like from the inside of Castle Oblivion, and those eyes. Psychopaths eyes. Okami noticed he was sitting down. A pile of corpses made his seat. “What have you done to Zeke!” “Hehehehe. He took in Core’s darkness. Split in two, this body is light half. Amazing, a single drop of my blood fell into his eye, and I managed to take over.” “Dream, I am leaving you to protect our people. I will stay with ‘Zeke’ here and talk. I will be back when we finish.” Ōkami did not give them a chance to respond before he opened DTLs under each of them sending them home, “Now that the kids are gone, please tell me why you are here.” “Can’t I visit an old friend? Heheh, you were one of the few people I saw when I had those few precious moments in the hosts full form. This half form will make due, but his other half Drezke will be mine someday.” Ōkami gritted his teeth, “I won’t allow that. Some how me and any of the others I have heard of will stop you and bring Zeke back.” “Hehe, the others said the same thing. Fun fact, as a parallel of Cript, the odds of this body being curable are none to none.” “I won’t accept that. There has to be a way.” “Yes, try and fail. Best way to lose hope.” “You see. That would be the case, but I have never had any hope anything will go my way. Since I have been removed from the stone nothing has gone my way. So I have stopped trying to make it. Now I make it go other people’s way. Things have been working out so far. So lets give this a shot.” Ōkami responded as he summoned Two Become One. “Have it your way.” Psychopath said, summoning a blood soaked Kingdom Key. Ōkami put both his hands on Two and started to glow before Two split and his clothes changed colors. Moving quickly he charged Psychopath. And swung the keyblade of darkness. “Let the fun begin” Psychopath said, blocking both strikes with his hands before back-flip kicking Ōkami up into the air. “That actually hurt a little.” Ōkami said as he corrected himself and flew back at Psychopath, “Shielded Darkness!” Ōkami yelled as he launched numerous projectiles from both keyblades. Psychopath sidestepped each in a haze, appearing back behind Ōkami and elbowed him, Ōkami went crashing to the ground. Ōkami pushed himself up, “You know. I kinda wish you were at full strength. Then you may be able to throw a decent punch.” he spread his wings and shot into the air, “Eclipse of the Heart!” Ōkami’s body was consumed by light. Specks of darkness appeared and slowly overtook the light creating the effect of a Solar Eclipse. Suddenly the the light and darkness faded and Ōkami held elongated versions of his keyblades. He dived and swung bog in an X pattern aimed at Psychopath. Psychopath merely raised up a hand, and blocked it. “”Heh, as you wish.” Psychopath move was simple, mockingly in it’s meaning. He flicked Okami’s forehead, and sent him crashing through Canterlot, finally ending up a beaten and bruised lump in a guard's barracks somewhere in the castle. Ōkami chuckled slightly as he limped out the barracks, “Now that is what I am talking about.” he looked at his keyblades and saw that they were starting to flicker slightly. Slowly he brought them together and Two Become One was once more in his hands. Sighing he shifted into final form and summoned Light’s Burdon, “I guess this will have to do.” he said before coughing up some blood. Ōkami jumped from his crash site and landed back in front of Psychopath. “So let's finish this.” Ōkami said as he fought his own body to keep going. “Your wish, your funeral.” Psychopath said, snapping his fingers as blood pools appeared around him. “You know, it’s a shame. Really is. You survived that say on your world...you family though...” He grinned as...blood soaked...things that looked like his family from earth all were crawling out of the blood pools. “I don’t know why you created those things. Those people mean nothing to me. They only ever treated me like dirt.” Ōkami said with a touch of venom in his voice. “Is that so? Heh, then perhaps something more...personal.” Another snap of his fingers, the blood creatures melted, reforming to look like...Luna. Okami’s grip on his weapon tightened. “Get rid of that creature. This is between you and me. Not your twisted toys.” Ōkami said through gritted teeth. “What? Too hard to face? How about this one.” Another snap, and the creature reformed. Omaki had forgotten about this one. The guard that helped Train him in Equestrian weapons, and other unique combats. “Stop toying with me and face me yourself you coward.” Ōkami growled, “Or are you scared to loose.....” “Ugh, you’re no fun. Fine, have it your way.” Ōkami blinked, and he saw Psychopath holding something. It was a hand. It took a moment to realize, but he looked down...his left hand was cut clean off, blood poured from the wound like a water faucet. “You’re B-? Huh, didn’t expect that.” WIth that, Ōkami watched as Psycho ate his hand. Whole. Using his remaining hand, Ōkami quickly tied off his bleeding arm slowly stopping the blood. “You are sick. You know that right.” Ōkami took a step forward leaving a smoking footprint where he stood. Darkness slowly turned his white outfit black as Light’s Burdon floated next to his left arm, “I may be no saint, but I will never allow for this to continue while I can fight.” Ōkami’s outfit was now completely black. He looked dead into Psychopath’s eyes. Ōkami’s eyes shifted from their normal color to a faint red. “Oh, now this is interesting.” “Hell’s Gate. Armageddon.” Ōkami said with an eerily calm voice as the world around them slowly turned red and demons slowly began to appear around the two, “This will end here.” “That’s what they say.” Psycho said, giving a large smile, showing off his shark like teeth. “Blood Feast.” The demons around the two all seemed to shrivel into a mummified state, their blood entering Psycho. Clenching his teeth, Ōkami looks at the corpses of his demon army, “No matter.” he said his voice still showing no emotion, “Let us end this like the warriors we are. No tricks. Keyblade to Keyblade.” “Fine, if you want.” Psychopath said, putting away the blood covered Kingdom Key and summoning a crimson red Oathkeeper. Ōkami raised his keyblades and prepared for an attack from Psychopath, “You first.” Psychopath smiled, rushing in gave the first swing, Ōkami blocking, just barely, was sent skidding across the ground for a distance.”Now it’s your turn.” Ōkami pushed himself forward swinging his keyblades, attempting to land a hit on Psychopath, but failed entirely, “Your a quick bastard.I’ll give you that.” “Hehehe, thank you.” Psycho replied, snapping his fingers as blood soaked Keyblades appeared around him. “Ha! Half of his heart, half of the keyblades he had stored inside him. Still more than enough to rip apart a world. Or fifty. Don’t you agree?” “Those are not yours. I don’t care if that is half of Zeke you are controlling. Those keyblades are waiting on new wielders. Not to be used by you to destroy worlds.” Ōkami snapped. “Awe, are you mad? How cute.” Psycho said, waving his hand as a dozen corrupted Keyblades rushed at Ōkami. Ōkami blocked most of the keyblades, but a few still got through, “Those keyblades are crying. Can you not hear them? They are afraid.” “Oh, I can hear them. Listen.[color]” Psycho snapped his fingers as an ungodly high pitched symphony of screams filled the air. Ōkami covered his ears, to no avail. “Music to my ears. Beethoven's got nothing on this masterpiece.” Ōkami gritted his teeth as he force his body to work. Slowly he brought Two Become One and Light’s Burdon back to his side and attacked once more, “Stop this. Release them.” he cried. “Hehe, cute.” Psycho said, sidestepping the attack and backhanding Ōkami’s head, sending him flying across the forest. Ōkami slammed into a relatively large oak tree. Slow he looked up at Psychopath as he approached him, “Why don’t you just give me one good swing to end this?” Psycho smiled. “It takes a lot more than that to kill my kind. And me especially. Go on, here’s some dejavu.” Psycho said, holding out his arms. Letting Ōkami have a free hit. Ōkami stood slowly. Before he brought both his keyblades down in an X. As the attack neared Psycho, there was a haze of darkness, Ōkami suddenly being in locked blades with...a black haired Zeke. “Don’t even try it!” He yelled, Ōkami suddenly being smashed into the ground by a Darkside, it’s repetitive attack finally stopping after the fifth hit. Once more Ōkami struggled to stand up and looked at the dark haired Zeke, “What the hell is going on right now?” “Allow me to introduce this body’s missing half. Drezke. Zeke’s dark half.” Psycho said, waving a hand over to Drezke. Drezke just looked away. “My brother is still in there, and even if this...parasite is killing off a world...I won’t let him die...Not unless I am sure there is no cure.” Ōkami chuckled slightly, “You know it is funny that you think I am strong enough in my current state to even scratch the guy. I was just getting my people out of here and accepting my fate.” Drezke just looked down. “That’s just it. You forget, you nearly killed Zeke once, you can kill a host...but to kill the Psychopath does require more. Ending the body is the easy part, killing the monster inside is the hard part.” “When I was not slowly dieing from the strain some of the moves I have used put on my body. I am lucky to be standing right now.” Ōkami stated. “Yes. The fun part is always playing around with the ‘heroes’ before they get too worn out.” “I never claimed to be a hero.” Ōkami said as he prepared for the inevitable. “Heh. You’re in his family. You accepted the role when you accepted to be in Cript’s family.” “I know. I just never got to be one. I could never stand against anything of actual power-” “You know he left like five seconds ago right?” Drezke’s voice spoke, Ōkami looking up and seeing Psychopath gone. Ōkami sighed as both Two Become One and Light’s Burden faded and he collapsed. Drezke sighed. “Damn. Well, can’t very well leave him here. Or like this.” Drezke said, kneeling down at Ōkami. “Let’s see here...How did those note from Core’s lab do it again...right.” Drezke said, placing a hand over the place where Ōkami’s missing one was. He shot darkness into the area, and grew out a new, black hand. “That will do.” “Good coming out of that work? Hard to believe.” Drezke looked up, seeing God standing above him and Ōkami. “You...I’m sorry.” “Save it.” Drezke said, shrugging it off. “He’s strong, but his true power is still blocked. Not to mention all the shit being in Cript’s family gives you. You think he’s ready?” “I will administrate his mark of mastery...as I did yours.” God said, Ōkami’s Keyblades appearing. “He’ll need to rely on his own power alone though, his Keyblades are what keep him back half the time.” “So confiscating them? That’s new.” “Yes, but isn’t everything these days.” “Fair enough.” Drezke said, standing up and opening a DTD. “Wait.” God said, stopping Drezke before he stepped into it. “Can...I heard Core’s Nobody was destroyed...fully. Is there...anything of him inside you still?” “...Just unpleasant memories. Daybreak has his heart though, but without his body, Core can’t come back...and if he somehow did, it would be like with Terra, he’d be blank. At most, he’d remember his name.” Drezke said, walking into the DTD. “Yes...so it seems.” God said, waving his hand as Ōkami vanished. “It’s not too dangerous a world child...but it will challenge you and unlock your power.”
