I'm glad you brought up all the pressures the kid could face as they would have a lot to live up to their entire lives with Twilight and Shinning. That was something I was thinking on that could in theory even turn the kid into a villain one day from all the weight they'd have to carry. Honestly I forgot that age spell existed but since Trixie used it when she had that amulet it would have to happen and there would be a reason why it's not widely used. Part of me wonders if that's the reasons Celestia and Luna don't age they just keep reusing that spell on themselves every now and again.
I really hope you have their kids reactions to this whole thing, suddenly having their parents younger and that they're trying for another kid would be fun to watch.

I just realized a couple of things that weren't touched on, what will their friends, co-workers and neighbors feel when they suddenly show up decades younger? Will that stigma follow them both as well for instance? Plus would they be able to pull a pension looking so younger or would they? I also kind of wonder what additional things Velvet had in mind for taking this deal.
