These stories may be a little rougher around the edges than normal; I proofread as I go, but I'm still human.
The stories:
Silliness - Twilight and Celestia ship Rarity and Luna; shares continuity with Celestia Wants to Date Twilight Sparkle and the stories to come.
Shampoo - I try to earn that Teen rating again. Chaste bathtub fun.
Invention - Twilight invents something out of desperation. This is going to be part of a later, larger story.
Chandelier - Twilight gets a gift in more ways than one.
Cracker - Pinkie interrupts a date.
Union - Another royal wedding!
Rumors - Tabloids get it wrong.
Epiphany - Twilight needs to show something to Celestia.
Invention redux - Twilight gets a book on flower language.
Excessive - Twilight and Celestia are presented with a rather unusual book.
Expedited - Slumber party with the Mane Six and Princess Celestia and Luna!
Relevance - Twilight gets invited to Celestia's chambers for a private meeting.
Misconstrued - Twilight gets invited to Celestia's chambers for a private meeting. Again.
Pomp - Celestia is a lonely pony.
Self defense isn't evil, and gunpowder and cannons have non-military uses as well.

Gunpowder and cannons are both, well, canon. I can't say for sure both of them together, but Trixie's fireworks sure as heck seem to be made with gunpowder like most fireworks. Obviously there is the party cannon and whatever Scootaloo meant that one time might not have used gunpowder, but Twilight inventing either seems off. The gunpowder cannon also seems a stretch, but it could be possible ponies never put them together before. Honestly though with the schizo tech in Equestria there is usually a lot of leeway, but this particular case seems to be a clear case of they already have that technology.

No. The sex tag is for a few of the chapters that do/will get saucy (like Shampoo). But it's still going be non-explicit, so the mature tag isn't warranted.

That particular chapter is written with a specific *ahem* canon in mind. I've got designs on a bigger, epic story. War is a pretty central theme, as is He Who Fights Monsters. Cannons and gunpowder might have non-military uses, but this is specifically the invention of a military application of the two.

D'aaaw. Poor Twily. All dressed up and nowhere to go.
They have fireworks. That means they know gunpowder. They have train. That means they know advanced explosives for building railways. They start using early computers. It would be strange if they didn't know cannons. Pinkie uses cannon. The cannon was probably inspired by army cannons. Dragons are Equestria neighbours. Cannons are necesity for defending against dragons. That can only mean they invented cannons more than 1000 years ago. Without cannons Equestria would be conquered by dragons long time ago.
