This story is a sequel to A Girl's Night Out

After a night of hard drinking, Twilight and Cadance work out what's going on between them.

Mm. Nummy.

And that trifecta... Ill have to try that; I have the worst hangovers.

Lovely.

Fried food is always great after a hangover.

And the story's good, too, I guess. :trollestia:

I liked it, though really, really short.

D'aww, adorableness. Shame that everyone's gone though. :fluttershyouch:

Also I wonder if the trifecta works on just general headaches. Like those "oh god I slept in too much now my head hates me" headaches.

“And I’ve been drinking for far longer, hun. Come on, breakfast is almost ready.”

If your alcohol tolerance is rising because you drink more, it's a sign of alcoholism.

On the other hoof, she should have a higher tolerance simply by being larger.

Eh, I disagree. Alcohol tolerance depends on so many other factors. But experience counts, even if it doesn't get to the level of alcoholism.

A nice meal helps. So does a bit of fooling around. :raritywink:
I find Excedrin works best for me, almost regardless of the type of headache (unless it really is a serious migraine, then I break out the Imitrex).

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Don't get 'em in the first place. Lots of water, eat some food while you're drunk, and drink higher-quality booze. And learn to toe the line between pleasantly drunk and unpleasantly drunk. And if you do get a hangover, have some bacon too. Ponies are vegetarian, so it wasn't included.

Fooling around does sound nice, it'd be better if there was someone else to fool around with! :derpytongue2:

I tend to shy away from medicine unless I really need it. thanks for the advice though!

Hmmm... Judging from the way this "ended", I''m assumin this will get a seque as well? Seriously, this series is getting pretty good! I can't wait to see how it continues!

Interestingly enough, most long term alcoholics have a lower tolerance than they ever used to have. Because they damage their livers.

Not a bad little story, though I personally think that Twilight would have kept silent about the previous night, hoping that Cadance had forgotten about it. (But I guess that's headcanon for you)

What I'm wondering though is: why is this a sequel rather than chapter two of your previous story?

I thought eggs are considered a meat and then ponies can't eat eggs, right?
Oh well. This story was well written so good job!

5130727
Sliding scale of vegetarianism. Eggs are almost irreplaceable in most cooking applications. And, to my knowledge, chickens don't have much utility beyond eggs and meat. And since meat's not on the menu...

Couple of reasons. I wasn't sure if I was going to continue from the previous story, even if I left myself a golden opportunity. I wrote this in like, maybe a day or so? And either story can stand on its own. It's useful to have the background, but not strictly necessary. (Twilight also said they'd talk about it in the morning, and I think she's a mare of her word.)

5128785
It's a consideration, but not a guarantee. Like I said in the Twidance prompt thread, I'm going to be picky about what Twidance I write.

5130866 Hmm... I see. Well, at least your considering it. Guess we'll heve to conform ourselves with that, for now. Still, I REALLY hope you continue this!

Wasn't Shining enough from the Sparkle family? Do you really need to Twilight too? ...This is a complete joke. (My comment, not the story.)

*pushes glasses up*

Because a headache is almost exclusively caused by chemicals in the brain, a significant increase in endorphins, such as that caused by sex, will partially negate or counteract even the most nail-through-the-head headaches and migraines.

Interestingly, chocolate causes a similar rush of endorphins, so my suggestion for dealing with a headache is usually to eat a chocolate bar and drink a few glasses of water(Hey, the weather gets pretty hot around where I live- you never know!)

Aww. This is somewhat depressing in that nearly everyone else is deceased, but the adorableness makes up for it.

“And Shining passed away a few years ago. Held on for a good long while, that colt.” Her smile returned and she looked up at Twilight, pressing a hoof under her former sister-in-law’s chin.

It's obvious that they still have a familial bond, and a spouse's death does not cut the surviving spouse off from their in-laws legally as far as I know. Technically, Twilight still is her sister-in-law before they decide to pursue romance. Just a little technicality that I noticed.

Technically, there's no written law in Equestria dictating who one is allowed to pursue a romantic relationship with. My guess is that as long as both parties are willing to consent then it's legal by their standards.

8670507
Oh who am I kidding, you're right. This is Equestria, not Earth. :rainbowlaugh:

8671327
Yes. It's certainly not like there are certain countries or areas around the world that allow incestuous relationships. Including arranged marriages from which a family lineage is carried on by the next generation.

8673336
Okay, okay, I see your point. Honestly, I actually did forget about those...

8673836
It's all cool man, you ammiteded to your bullshit! So we're all good.
