It took me about three or four hours between working out a (il)logical chain of events and writing.
I've been doing a lot with vampires on my main-fic even before the episode hit, so between the episode, material I was already thinking about, and one of my readers making Flutterbat and Edward Cullen comparisons, the idea kinda struck me to do a Twilight parody, from there I just worked out everything else that would happen, and adjusted as I wrote.
I have not come up with any fanfics about any of the mane six being vampires but I did come up with an idea for cosplay. I was thinking of going dressed at Twilight Sparkle (The usual). Only she would wear a sparkly purple outfit, with fangs in her mouth,while carrying the first Twilight book since she likes to read, all while carrying an apple.

You know what would have made it even better? The old rabies vaccine in lieu of the antiobiotics. Multiple injections, to the stomach, with a very thick needle. 23-30 injections, to be specific... :D
