This story is a sequel to The Sun and the Shy

This is the CHS timeline of arc 2 of The Sun and the Shy.

Sunset is busy dealing with her feelings for Fluttershy and disturbing dreams that are getting worse the closer it gets to when the portal opens. She must find a way to deal with the truth behind her dreams or end up losing the one girl who may actually have a chance of making her happy and restoring her shattered mind and soul.

Sunset wasn’t the first students of CHS to turn into a demon. Back when Luna were a students herself, she once became the demoness known as Nightmare Moon and had to learn to control that part of herself.

Now Sunset need to learn to do the same, and who better than the Nightmare herself?

People say that light is good and dark is bad.

The truth is far simpler... and far subtler.

The light reveals.

The dark....

....conceals.

Twilight and her friends are out of the picture. With no one to stop her, Sunset prepares to lead her army of brainwashed teenage zombies against Equestria.

If she can get the damn crown to work!

Twilight Sparkle was seven years old when she was saved by an angel, 10 years old when she first attempted to go grave robbing, and 13 years old when she successfully summoned her first demon.

Shining Armor was 13 years old when his sister was nearly killed, 16 years old when he caught his little sister's attempt at grave robbing, and 19 years old when his sister summoned a demon from the pits of hell.

Cadance was 13 years old when she met Shining Armor in detention, 16 years old when she tried to confess to Shining Armor, and 19 years old when her boyfriend's sister summons a demon.

Sunset Shimmer doesn't remember how old she is. She knows that she is the last demon, summoned by Twilight Sparkle to make a pact that will tear reality itself asunder.

They must somehow survive a world gone mad and each other.

Iris, the God of Darkness, comes to life once again after scientist disturb his rest. Now he is in search for a new host to feed him and after her power outburst during the Fall Formal Sunset Shimmer may fit the requirements. Now only two heroes can save both her and the entire world from a fate worse than death. The King and the Guardian.

For every action, there is consequence, as Sunset Shimmer soon found out on the day she was exiled from Equestria. Finding herself on a plane, haunted by a sinister presence and on a course beyond her control, everything that Sunset has ever known is about to change as she faces the inevitable conclusion to her life choice.
