Iris rises again to wreak havoc on mankind but must find a new host. Now only Godzilla and Gamera can save the world from Iris's wrath.
Iris, the God of Darkness, comes to life once again after scientist disturb his rest. Now he is in search for a new host to feed him and after her power outburst during the Fall Formal Sunset Shimmer may fit the requirements. Now only two heroes can save both her and the entire world from a fate worse than death. The King and the Guardian.
Darkness that's all he knew. Darkness that's all he could remember. Iris was alone with his thoughts in state of suspended animation. Even if he could move there was no to go. Iris was sitting in a skyscraper high tank of liquid maid to feed him through his skin. Human scientist were typing away just mere feet from the God of Vengeance. They were gathering data on their creation.
The creature in the tube was both Iris and wasn't Iris at the same time.
Years ago he had died in a duel with the Guardian of the Universe. His body had been scattered to pieces leaving enough DNA to be collected by the military during the clean up. And enough for other organizations to acquire.
The Red Bamboo one of the world's biggest terror organizations had come in like locus taking every last scrap of Iris's DNA that the military had contained. The soldiers left to guard the remains were nothing more than targets to the snipers. As soon as they had arrived they were gone.
What they did afterwards was an even bigger crime. After trading arms with the Saradians the Red Bamboo gained acquired the research notes of one of the greatest genetic scientist of his time. One who figuratively and literally created one of the biggest kaiju alive. Dr. Shiragami. Combine that with a state of the art research facilities. They were able to create one of their greatest weapons.
A perfect clone of the God of Darkness.
Captain Ryu, the new head of the Red Bamboo, stood at the top of a steel railing looking down at his creation. Under his new leader ship the terrorist group grew in power going from buying arms and threatening small nations to preforming full scale assassinations and starting civil wars to sell weapons on both sides. But selling conventional weapons can only get someone far in life but selling kaiju well that's a whole different story isn't. Ryu laughed to himself.
"YOU!" he pointed at female scientist walking behind him. She stopped scared out of her mind as Ryu walked toward his blood red eyes were locked on her. The gun on his hip rattled with each step. Combine that with the scar going across his face it made him look the human version of a kaiju.
"Yes sir." the scientist said with a shrill terrified voice.
"How much longer until it's ready?"
"I'm not sure sir."
Ryu glared at her taping his gun, "What was that?"
"Please forgive me sir but Iris is growing at a rate higher than predicted. Along with his growth we have to increase the amount vitamins to keep him alive." The scientist talked quickly already she could tell Ryu was getting annoyed with her.
"And how does that answer my question about it being ready?" Ryu was beginning to pull his gun out to make an example of this girl.
Suddenly a voice calls from behind him, "What she's trying to say is that Iris will ready when he decides he's ready."
Ryu turned around angered about who speak to him in condescending tone. A man with snow white hair and a lab coat walked toward him, "Dr. Ryan glad to see you but your still failing to answer my question." Ryu said.
Dr. Ryan sighed, "Well if you paid attention the first time I told you would know. Iris reached his mask height days ago but for reason he's still growing. It's as if his battle with Gamera made him stronger that what he originally was."
"Ok then but will we still be able to control him?"
Dr. Ryan looked at Iris floating his tube, "Most likely if you decide to be patient."
"Excellent." Ryu said with an evil grin he looked over to the female scientist that he was talking to earlier. She shook with fear as he glared at her. "Oh and Miss."
"Price sir. Emily Price." She blurted out with no control.
"Miss. Price next time give me answer when I speak to you," He pulls out a gun and fires over her head causing Emily to flinch she could the sound of a body dropping, "Or else that will be you on the ground next time. Ryan I wish to see project 3 now."
"Yes captain right this." Dr. Ryan motioned for Ryu to follow him. Ryu walked with Dr. Ryan but before leaving he put his head over his shoulder to look at Emily.
"One last thing Miss. Price clean that mess up."
Ryu and Dr. Ryan walked off leaving Emily alone. She turned around slowly and looked down at the dead body on the ground. Emily fell to her knees and started to cry.
Unknown to anyone however was that inside Iris's tube there was a bit of movement. His shoulder twitched and an orb of light flickered in his arrow shaped head. .............. Deep below the ocean ........... Darkness was all around him as he slept. How long had it been since he's done this? He didn't care for once in his life he was having a peaceful rest. No fighting, no rescuing a city, these were days that he longed for but so rarely ever experienced. The currents rocked his body helping lull him to sleep. He was finally at piece.
"You must wake up."
Is this a dream?
"You must wake up."
Doesn't fell like one. Suddenly his dark vision began to change to orange. He recognized this color of orange it was one he was familiar with. Flames. He turned his head the ocean floor was gone replaced by a burning city. At the center stood an eerie green glowing creature.
"He will destroy your world if don't stop him. You must wake up!"
Red and yellow eyes snapped open looking around he was back in the ocean. Was that a dream or was it real? Suddenly he felt a chill run down his spine. Something extremely powerful and evil was waking up. Ivory back spines flashed blue and a long black tail beat on the ocean floor causing a massive black body to lift off the ground. Godzilla narrowed his eyes moving through the water breaching 10 knots. So much for having a peaceful night. ............... Red Bamboo Base (Dr. Ryan's lab) .............. Ryu and Dr. Ryan stood in an white lab in front of them was a large circular object coils hung around it along with two electrical orbs on the front. Ryu looked at the object with fascination.
"So this is project 3?" Ryu asked.
"Yes I give you the Dimension Shifter." Ryan said.
"Are you really stealing names from the G-force?" Ryu said amused.
"I may have tweaked the name and device some what but the rest is all my own design."
"Well then what does it do?"
Ryan went to a blinking control panel and began pressing buttons. The Dimension Shifter began to hum to life Ryu looked at it as a blue swirl began to appear inside of it. Suddenly a building appeared inside of the Dimension Shifter.
"What is this?" Ryu asked amazed.
"A portal to another world." Ryan answered.
"It looks like our world."
"Give it a minute."
Ryu looked at the portal closely when a group of technicolored girls came running out the building each of them wearing a formal dress. Ryu looked over to Ryan with a strange look on his face, "What have you been looking at?"
"This world has been the only one we've been able to access so far and for the past 3 days we've received a massive amount of power inputs. If we go through this world and harness that power." Ryan smiled deviously at Ryu who had already caught on to what he was saying.
"Then we could have even more power." Ryu cracked an evil grin leaning forward to look at the girls through the portal, "Can you identify where this new power is coming from."
Ryan began typing away on the computer until finally the he found what he was looking for, "That crown the orange girl is holding seems to be the main power source."
Ryu looked at the portal to see an orange skinned girl in a black jacket and fire colored hair was holding a crown with a purple star piece over her head. She looked like she was saying something to the others before placing it on her head. There was a flash of light before she was enveloped in a ball of energy. The power she was giving off was incredible Ryu had to shield his eyes from the flashes of light.
"The power she's giving off is bouncing off the Dimension Shifter! It's causing after shocks!" Dr. Ryan shouted.
"Then shut it off!" Ryu shouted.
Dr. Ryan went for the controls but sparks began to fly off the large portal causing to jump back to avoid being hit.
................ Holding Camber ............... Emily looked up at the ceiling as the lights around her began to dim. Something was draining the power. She got back to her feet after cleaning the blood off the ground. She was still wiping tears off her face from the terrifying experience. What has she gotten herself into all her life she wanted to be scientist do something to put her name on the world. The Red Bamboo gave her that chance she gave her a home when she had none left to go to. But now it was all coming to startling realization what type of group she was with. But during this time something else was having a realization of it's own. A loud thump echoed in the holding chamber. Emily froze in place as another thump louder than the last echoed around her.
"OH MY GOD!" someone shouted behind her.
Emily turned around slowly looking down to Iris's containment chamber. His tentacles began to bump against the glass walls that kempt inside his cell. A white light was glowing inside of his arrow shaped head. In an instant his head snapped up causing sweat to pour down Emily's face because it pointed directly at her. His body began to move around bumping the his incubation tube cracks began to form along the side as the massive kaiju began to break free.
"Someone call Captain Ryu!" a soldier shouted.
But it was to late one of Iris tentacles smashed out of the tube and began to slam into just about everything inside the base. Soldiers fired their guns but they merely bounced off the tough skin. The tentacle stopped thrashing and stood perfectly still like cobra ready to strike. No one moved out of fear due to the massive hissing sound in the air. Energy formed in arrow tip of the tentacle as it glowed bright yellow. In a horrifying flash of light the tip opened and a sonic cutter, similar to that of a Gyaos bird, ripped out of it. Everything in sight was bisected including the people.
Emily held her head in her hands as she ducked down. The high pitched noise of the sonic cutter was canceling out the screams of people. When it all stopped Emily lifted her head back up to see the horror that was around. Moon light poured into the hole that was cut through the ceiling, soldiers were on the ground sliced into with looks of shock on their faces from dying instantly, a fate shared by some of her friends as well. But Emily didn't have time to scream at the sight of death around her. There was a green glow coming from behind her.
Iris's attack wasn't just to kill the humans around him but was to free himself. The 325 foot kaiju stood up to his full height and looked around raising one of his spear like hands to his head to rub it in a human fashion.
Where was he?
What happened to him?
And what was this power he was feeling?
He looked down to see a small human cowering in front of him he remembered this scene a human called him and gave him gave more power than he ever felt. So why doesn't he haven't know?
Iris tilted his head studying the Emily she backed away from him. The orbs on going down Iris's body began to glow brighter before four sets of human sized tentacles came out of them wrapping around Emily. She screamed trying to get them off her but the more she struggled the tighter they became. The middle orb in Iris's stomach opened Emily screamed louder as she was drawn in closer.
Ryu came running in with Dr. Ryan behind both of them were covered in black burns from avoiding the shocks of the Dimension Shifter.
"What is this?!" Ryu shouted before gasping when he saw Iris stare at him.
"Please Captain HELP ME!" Emily shouted tears coming out of her eyes.
Ryu merely looked at her confused before answering, "Why?"
Emily only had a look of sadden shock on her face as Iris pulled her inside of him. Dr. Ryan watched the entire thing with fascination.
"Amazing it appears to be searching for a host."
"Can it follow my commands?" Ryu asked.
"No I didn't have time to program it right now it's wild." Ryan said backing away slowly Iris turned it's attention right toward them.
He let out a loud moaning roar that sounded like a crying whale. He marched forward at slow pace cocking his head curiously. Ryu smiled looking over to Ryan arrogance showing fully.
"It looks as though he already knows who his master is." Ryu smiled holding out his hand to Iris, "Iris I am the one who gave you life! Know knell before me."
To he and Ryan's surprise Iris bent down toward Ryu. The mad captain began to laugh at his hands was the most powerful monster in history and he could control.... or so he thought. Before Ryan had time to blink Ryu and the ground he was standing were gone replaced by an orange tentacle. Ryan quivered as he looked up at the ceiling where Ryu or what was left of him was hanging on there.
Iris was annoyed the human he consumed had no power what so ever and the real power was somewhere else. He could fell but for now he wanted to vent on one more thing and this human would have to do. He looked down at Ryan as the man made for the hallway. Iris let one of his smaller tentacles fly out of his body. It wrapped around Ryan's body and pulled him back screaming trying to cling to the floor. Another tentacle wrapped around his hands. Iris held Ryan up by his hands and legs slowly pulling both ends of the man in opposite directions. ............. Ocean ............ Godzilla began to swim faster snarling the power he felt earlier just grew tremendously. Something was going on and he had to stop it before it spread to the rest of the world. He beat his tail harder moving his body forward. But suddenly he felt another presence behind him but this one was familiar. He recognized in an instant and it caused his eyes to lower in annoyance.
Not this guy.
The darkness in the water began to glow as a green shell rose up from the depths. Green eyes but yellow eyes as Gamera ross next to Godzilla. He let out a loud roar out of his tusked mouth greeting Godzilla. Godzilla let out his own confused roar.
What was he doing here?
Gamera called out to his old ally his roar was serious.
A threat to earth.
The giant turtle held his right arm an old wound was acting up again. Godzilla watched Gamera do this remembering how long agonizing it was to watch Gamera heal from it. What ever was going was serious. He needed to be fast the last time he arrived late to a fight he found Gamera on death's door missing an arm. He wasn't going to let that happen again Gamera may be annoying but he's also his oldest friend. He let out a loud roar to Gamera.
They need to get there fast.
Gamera smiled between his tusk and began swimming under Godzilla. The monster king understood what the guardian was doing. Godzilla put his hands on Gamera's back and the turtle pulled his back legs into his shell. His back jets opened azure flames burned bright under the ocean. Godzilla king of the monster and Gamera the guardian of the universe sped off to battle. .......... Docks of the Red Bamboo base ........... Two grunts stood at the foot of the docks looking out at the ocean they had heard the muffled sounds of what had been going on inside. They also saw the beam of light coming out of the base.
"Sounds like there's some kind of party going on in there." One of the grunts said.
"The captain probably has a new weapon to play with." The second said with a laugh.
They both snickered at each other. The first to start talking looked out at the ocean but what he saw confused him.
"Hey what's that?"
"It looks like a wave."
"But why is it so big and glowing?"
"I have no idea."
"Should we runaway screaming?"
"After you sir."
Both of the grunts didn't waste anytime running away as the massive tit dal wave of water came closer to the island. Before it reached the shore the water exploded. Revealing two the world's famous most kaiju. Ivory back spines flashed blue with atomic power as Godzilla let out a thundering roar. Water poured off a green shell as mana built up in Gamera's throat as he roared as well.
Gamera was first to act when he felt massive power build up coming from inside the Red Bamboo base. He took in a massive breath letting air into his lungs before snapping his jaws shut. Plasma and mana infused fire built up in his mouth before unleashing a fire ball. Godzilla didn't have time to react before it hit the Red Bamboo causing a massive explosion. He snarled at Gamera for not trying to hold back incase humans were inside. Gamera didn't respond he already that they were to late every one inside the base were already dead. Except for one.
A giant shelled back emerged from out of the rubble unlike most shells though it formed almost bat like wings. The new monster turned around looking directly at Godzilla and Gamera. Godzilla reeled his head back in shock for one it didn't have a face so he couldn't even read this new monster's emotion. The other reason was the look of pure rage Gamera had when he saw it rising up. Godzilla saw Gamera go for right arm again. It hit Godzilla like brick when he realized that this was a creature Gamera had fought before the one who took his arm and destroyed half of Japan. This was Iris the God of Darkness.
Yep so much for a peaceful night.
Godzilla braced himself along with Gamera together they were easily the Earth Defenders most powerful members and neither was known to shy away from a fight. But just how calmly Iris was standing there was easily putting them on guard. Time stood still for them as Iris didn't move just staring at them blankly. Until finally he moved but not toward them Iris turned his back to them and began looking around in the rubble. He didn't even care about them. Godzilla and Gamera looked at each other then back to Iris. Godzilla roared trying to get Iris to notice him. Iris just kept searching the rubble for something neither monster could see.
Gamera sunk all of his limbs back into his shell and activated his jets spinning like a high powered buzz saw. He flew right into Iris causing the kaiju to stumble but not fall. Gamera kept spinning but he wasn't making Iris move any further. The only thing that did move were the four kaiju sized tentacles coming out the rubble at lightning speed. They all slammed down on Gamera before he could notice or Godzilla could warn him. The arrow tipped edge of a tentacle went straight threw the guardian's shoulder pinning him to the ground. Gamera roared in pain as blood came out of the ground. Godzilla roared in rage and charged into the battle his back spines charging he ripped his mouth open to let out a full powered atomic breath. His three free tentacles came right behind Iris deflecting Godzilla's attack and knocking it off into a nearby mountain. He was startled for a moment but Godzilla kept charging forward the arrow head tentacles sprung like snakes.
He was able to dodge the one headed to his skull but the two aimed for ribcage. They pierced right through his skin like butter before wrapping around Godzilla. Before he could react Godzilla was in the air and brought back down on top of Gamera. In only less than a minute and with few moves Iris brought down the two most powerful kaiju on earth.
Now that the distraction was gone Iris continued his search for the mysterious power he could feel it somewhere in the rubble. That's when the rubble began to move. Iris could feel another power surge coming again. There was a bright flash as a burst of energy came out the rubble. Iris roared with delight when he saw it this was what he was looking for.
Godzilla shook his head clear to the see the tower energy pouring out of the rubble and he saw Iris heading toward it. If Iris was able to get that then he'd be unstoppable. He got off of Gamera helping the turtle to his feet. The arrow may have been out of shoulder but green blood was still coming out of it. Gamera shook it off like it was nothing trying to focus more on Iris. They both knew they had to end this fight here or the world was doomed. Godzilla and Gamera looked into each others eyes nodding in agreement. Both charged Iris at once Godzilla fired his atomic breath and Gamera fired three plasma balls. Iris was to distracted by the energy output to notice the attacks coming. Each attack hit Iris causing him to roar in pain and annoyed anger.
He turned around to face his two attackers. Godzilla smiled looks this monster did have emotions. He let out a thundering roar as jumped straight at Iris another attack he wasn't excepting from something as big as Godzilla. The monster king cocked his fist back and let power pour into it. He rammed his nuclear charged fist right into Iris's arrow shaped head knocking him off his feet. Gamera came in behind Godzilla slashing at the demon kaiju with elbow spikes. The spike didn't cut Iris but it was able to knock the him back.
Iris roared ready to end this fight each of his tentacles rose up from the ground charging power. Godzilla and Gamera both let out their roars. Godzilla back spines began to with as he puffed his chest out atomic power building in his maw. Gamera did the same thing as mana built up inside of him. Time slowed for each of kaiju as Godzilla and Gamera both opened their mouths firing their signature attacks and Iris fired out four collective sonic beams. The attacks collided together creating massive explosion none of the kaiju noticed when a rainbow appeared out of the tower energy behind Iris. It just went white. ............... Canterlot High School (1 hour after the Fall Formal) .............. Sunset Shimmer made a slow walk down the destroyed steps of Canterlot High School. She looked at the court yard which was still a wreck she already she'd be cleaning that in that morning. She sighed but it was a punishment she was willing to accept after the major mistake she made. Sunset fell back on a step looking up at the night sky. She felt as bad as when she left Celestia. The dirty looks every one gave her as they left the dance were edged in her memory.
"What have I done?" Sunset let her head fall into her knees. On the verge of tears Sunset was about to start crying if their wasn't aloud boom in the sky. Sunset looked up in the night sky to see a white light appear over the school it looked a star. She stared at it amazed before the light broke into three spit pieces and shot off two went for the mountains and the other went over the city.
"What the hay?" Sunset said cocking her head back confused.
Sunset Shimmer kept looking up at the sky to see if there were more falling stars but nothing was there. She walked a few feet before scratching her head.
"What was that?" She said aloud to herself.
"It looked like falling stars." a gray skinned girl with a flat expression on her face suddenly appeared next to Sunset. She shrieked and jumped back putting her hands in a karate pose. The gray skinned girl looked at Sunset her face staying the same, "Have you seen my sister? She has big pink hair."
"Um do you mean Pinkie Pie?" Sunset asked nervously.
"That's her I'm her big sister Maud Pie." Maud Pie answered with the same flat tone, "I'm here to pick her up."
Sunset pointed to inside the School just a group of five began to walk they were followed by Big Mac, who had Apple Bloom, sleeping on his back. Scootaloo was walking next Rainbow Dash trying to climb up her back for a piggy back ride herself. Sweetie Belle was trying to get Rarity to give her one as well but she kept refusing. Apple Jack looked over at her little sister.
"Doesn't little Bloom look adorable when she's sleeping." She said in her country accent.
"Yep." Big Mac answered.
"Hey Rainbow can I stay with you tonight pretty please!" Scootaloo begged Rainbow Dash.
"I don't know maybe if you beat me in Attack of the Mane-iac!" Rainbow Dash said lifting Scootaloo over her head. The two adoptive sister started laughing at each other with Scootaloo putting Rainbow in a mini headlock. Suddenly a flash of pink jumped into them.
"Oooooooooooooooooooooh! That sounds like fun! Can I come!? Can I, Can, I Can, I Can, I Can I!?" Pinkie Pie shouted shaking Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo.
"Pinkie!" Maud Pie called out to her sister.
"Maud!" Pinkie let go of Rainbow Dash and in a blur of speed ran up to her big sister giving her a big hug.
"Mom and Dad wanted me to bring you home." Maud said.
"Okay!" Pinkie Pie said. The rest of the main 5 showed up behind her.
"Hi Maud." Fluttershy said in a small voice she then looked over to Sunset Shimmer nearly cowering away from her, "Oh and hi Sunset Shimmer." Sunset rubbed the back of her head when the others looked at her.
"Um... hey." Sunset said nervously looking at them.
"Hey... so you cleaned up nicely.... Iiiii love what you did with your hair." Rarity said feeling the awkwardness of the situation rise considering the massive elephant in the room. Sweetie Belle hid behind her big sister Scootaloo doing the same when they both saw their former bully standing in front of them.
"Thanks." Sunset said with a nervous chuckle. A breeze blew by everyone.
"This is awkward!" Pinkie said with a smile.
Sunset let out fake yawn, "I think I'm going to head home it's getting pretty late."
"Yeah Mac and I gotta wake up early to harvest." Applejack said with a smile putting her hand on Sunset's shoulder and giving her piece of pay paper with a phone number on it, "But if you ever want to get together just give me a call."
Sunset took Applejack's phone number with surprise, "R-Really?"
"Well we did promise Twilight that we'd be friends didn't we?" Applejack responded with a smile. Fluttershy held out a piece of paper to Sunset as well with Rarity, Rainbow, and Pinkie following her lead. Each of them gave their phone numbers to Sunset.
"Thank you." Sunset was getting choked up about the entire situation trying to hold back her tears.
"Don't mention it now if you excuse me I've got a date with a cake. Let's ride Maud!" Pinkie shouted pulling a pink motorcycle helmet out of no where. Maud was already wearing her own black helmet and was sitting on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Pinkie clung to her big sister as the bike began to move, "See ya!" And just like that the Pie sisters took off leaving everyone with dropped jaws.
"How did I not notice her ride up to the school in that?" Sunset asked.
"I've known Pinkie and her family for years it's best if we don't question what they do." Rainbow Dash answered.
"Especially the whip cream in the fridge." Fluttershy shuddered.
"Hey we all took a vow of silence after that incident!" Rarity shouted.
"Should I ask?" Sunset whispered to Applejack.
"No never ask." Applejack looked at her seriously.
........... Mountain Range ...........
The cougar began to slowly close in on his prey, a lone deer who was cut off from the rest of it's herd. Each step he made was silent eyes focused on the prize. His back legs were poised ready to pounce. The deer continued to feed on the ground not noticing the predator. Suddenly there was a shift in the air both animals sensed it another predator was coming. Both of the animals instincts kicked into full survival mode. The cougar ran out of his hiding running past his former prey as the deer followed after. The forest began to come to life as all of its inhabitants could sense the danger in the air. Both predator and prey began to runaway in fear from the mountains something was up there and it was coming down.
Massive cloven feet touched down on the forest floor bioluminescent orbs lit the night sky as 300ft long tentacles waved around violently as their owner let out a hate filled shriek. Iris was shaking with pure rage he was so close to that power source it was nearly his! But those two reptiles got in his way they will suffer for their interference! The turtle first. He can't remember why but that turtle it filled his body with nothing but rage and hate.
Iris felt a sharp pain in his head flashes of a burning city appeared in his vision along with the screams of humans. The memory soon shifted standing him in front of was a girl holding her hand out to him offering her life. But why? What did she want from him? He suddenly heard the cries of the turtle his anger broiled. This feeling he had this turtle, this guardian it was his enemy. In it's hands was the girl. NO! What was it doing?! She was important to him!
Iris roared in pure fury his tentacles shaking widely the arrow shaped tips on the ends opening. Suddenly fire balls erupted out of them into the night sky. Iris brought looked at the sight above him. That was the turtles attack. Why can he use it?
Another memory flashed in his head one him over the turtle stealing it's energy using it as his own. A pulse went through his body. It all began to come together.
Piece by piece Iris began to remember his old life.
His memories went from a few years all the way back to 70,000 years ago, Atlantis. They wanted to create a creature who could control the gyaos birds that were running amok through out the city. They did succeed but only to have this creation turn on them as well. He killed them all their blind hatred gave him power. But it wasn't enough so he sent out hordes of gyaos to find food to create more hatred. Hate was strong, Hate was good, Hate was power. But soon the gyaos disappeared for some reason so he sealed himself away until there was more Hate in the world to feed him. That's when the girl came she had enough hate to awaken him from his slumber.
She offered her life to him in order to kill one creature. The Guardian of the Universe Gamera. Along with her hatred and all the feelings of anger in the world he began to grow stronger. But just when he reached his prime Gamera killed him. Then the humans brought him back to life.
Iris stood straight having regained his senses the center orb on his stomach opened releasing the girl he took earlier. Iris held her up with smaller tentacles. She was nothing more than withered husk having all of fluids drained from her body. Iris let out a whale like moan. He gave thanks for his revival before dropping the corpse.
Iris roared into the night sky he remembered who he was. Iris the God of Darkness and soon the world would know his wrath. But he still felt empty. He needed a vessel, someone who he could fuse with to help fuel his hatred. There was power out there somewhere he just needed to find it again. Iris began to march forward straight to where he could fell the remaining bits of power straight towards Canterlot High School.
.............. Equestria City (Docks) .............
Twilight, Shining Armor, and Spike, who was in Twilight's backpack, walked along the docks listening to the waves crash along the beach. Spike panted happily looking around at his surrounding. Twilight pet his head with a smile adjusting her glasses she looked around at where her brother drove her to.
"So what are we doing here Shining? I've got to get back to studying." Twilight said.
"Come on Twily you've passed every exam thrown at you I think you deserve a little break." Shining Armor chuckled he pointed at a large donut stand in the middle of the dock, "Besides when have you ever passed up a trip to Donut Joe's."
"Donut Joe really!" Twilight began to giddy for just a moment before clearing her throat, "I mean one donut won't hurt."
"Right." Shining chuckled as they continued to walk down the street a large mass of people began to gather over the edge of the dock some of them standing on the beach. Everyone was looking out into the ocean.
"What's that all about?" Twilight asked.
"Don't know." Shining could already feel his protective instincts flaring up he kept Twilight behind him, "Hey it's Joe."
A big man with a pot belly wearing a chef's uniform was standing just on the edge of the crowd. Donut Joe waved when he saw his favorite customers, "Well if it isn't Shining Armor and Twilight Sparkle."
"Hey Joe what's going on here?" Shining Armor asked looking out at the water.
"You wouldn't believe it a meteor fell from the sky and it landed right in the ocean. and know well look." Donut Joe pointed out to the water. Twilight and Shining looked out to the ocean and both gasped at the sight in front of them. The ocean was flashing along with the churning waves.
Spike stuck his head out of Twilights back pack looking out to the water. He started to whimper and began to struggle out of Twilight's backpack. Twilight turned around trying to keep the small dog under control but it only matters worse. Spike's instincts were telling him to run there was something in the water. He began to whimper struggling harder.
"Hey Shiny can we go home please." Twilight said Spike's jitters beginning to get to her she clung to her brother's arm.
"Yeah I think that might be a good idea." Shinning Armor looked out to the ocean the flashes in the water increased as the water began to bubble. Something was coming out of the water, "We should move fast come on Twi-"
SKREOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONGK!
Everyone on the dock covered their ears to the ear splitting roar. The glass on some stores broke apart from the sound. Twilight kept her hands over her ears almost falling to her knees from the roar. Shining Armor grabbed his little sister by the arm bringing her up to her feet.
"You okay?" Shining asked but Twilight didn't answer pupils shrunk in and she pointed out into the ocean. Shining Armor turned his around his jaw dropped at the sight before him. Massive spines came out to of the water followed by a huge black tail. When it slammed back down on the water it caused a massive wave of to erupt from the surface. The spines flashed neon blue before sinking back down into the ocean completely disappearing.
"What was that?" Twilight asked Spike whimpering behind her.
"I don't know." Shining Armor answered his heart was beating a hundred miles a minute.
Sunset Shimmer tossed in her bed moaning in her sleep. Her eyes twitched as sweat ran down her face.
"Their lying to you." A voice called out to her in a whisper, "They hate you everyone hates you."
Sunset Shimmer woke up screaming. She looked around no one was there it was just a dream. She was slow to move out of bed one of the draw backs about using massive amounts of magic it leaves the body feeling like it was running a marathon. Today was probably a good day to stay in bed for a little while. She grabbed the remote off of her counter.
"Come on TV you're my only hope." Sunset said hoping for something to forget last night and her bad dream. The buzz of the TV began to light up her room. She began to flip threw each channel as it came on a bored expression her face. Finally she stopped on the news sighing to her self. She recognized the image if the beach on the screen but what she didn't recognize the destroyed buildings along the docks. Sunset began to turn up the volume as the Anchorwoman was still talking.
"Many on the docks claim to have seen what can best be described as a giant mon....." The reporter looked at her camera man with a face that read are you serious, "A giant monster was swimming in the ocean."
A bystander on the beach stood next to her a man in chef's hat who was covered in sprinkles, "It was huge I'd never seen anything like it! Just look what it did to my shop." He pointed out to the destroyed donut stand glass littered the ground along with hints of rubble on the ground.
"Do have any idea where this so called 'monster' is now?" The reporter asked.
"No idea it just came out of the water and then just disappeared. It could be any where."
The camera panned back to the Anchorwoman as she held the mike back up to her face, "Well that isn't the only bit of strangeness coming from last night. Apparently the students at Canterlot High School put on quite the Fall Formal with an amazing light show. Ranging from the school all the way out to Everfree Park."
Sunset face palmed herself remembering her transformation from last night.
"How was I not arrested for that?" She thought to herself but then another thought occurred to her, "Did she say lights from Everfree Park? But that's impossible I was now where near that place."
The fatigue she felt earlier was beginning to disappear as her curiosity began to build. She looked out into her window looking at the mountains far from the town. Sunset began to pull out a map of the city that connected all the way back to town. It was covered in bad drawings she made of the Princesses.
"Let's see the school is here and I saw those shooting stars went both here and here." Her tongue stuck out as she began to draw lines out connecting to the city and mountains, "That's exactly where each star flew off to."
She held up the map to her wall taking a close look at it, "Shooting stars and giant monsters. Last night really was crazy." She smiled grabbing her favorite jacket from her chair, "Time for an investigation!"
............... Below the Ocean ................ 50,000 tons of kaiju touched down on the seafloor a massive black hand cracked its fingers as it's owner snarled. Godzilla was beyond confused first he was fighting a killer squid God now he's back in the ocean. Not to mention those humans he saw earlier something about them wasn't right. He wasn't near any cities during his fight he was on an island and why where they all multicolored? Maybe Gamera will know. Godzilla's head sprung up at a certain thought. Where's Gamera?
Godzilla called out under the water scaring the local fish population. There was no answer. He snorted out of his nose blue flames coming out of his nostrils. Great know he has to find a giant turtle.
"Your friend is nearby." A calm female voice echoed through his head.
Godzilla spun around looking for who was calling out to him he could feel the mental tug going through his head. Was that Mothra's fairies? No they speak in unison. And it wasn't his Aunt Miki.
He called out again this time to the one who was calling him.
"My name isn't important but you must save this world Godzilla." The voice was still calming but he could tell she was desperate, "The monster you were fighting is still alive is preparing to conquer this world and then both of ours. Please I have nothing to offer you and I saw what this creature did to both you and your friend before being transported here. But I must ask you no I beg of you please save our worlds!"
Godzilla stood still as a statue having heard everything this person had asked of him. He didn't respond to her.
"I see.....I was asking to much of you." The voice called out to him again. This time he answered with a brutal snarl. The message was clear don't interrupt. He was concentrating he felt the flow of the water each wave pushing past his body, the air flowing above him, and movements of life. Godzilla was one with nature. His eyes snapped open and he could see two auras in front of him. One was an emerald green with hints of black swirling around it. Godzilla snarled recognizing Iris's aura he was moving slowly as if he was in search for something. He sensed another aura close to Iris but weaker.
Gamera! But why isn't he moving? Deal with it later Iris comes first.
Godzilla's eyes narrowed focusing in on his target he beat his tail down lifting off the ocean floor he began to swim forward.
"You're truly going to save these worlds?" The voice called out to him, "Thank you Godzilla! Don't worry about your friend I'll awaken him."
Godzilla rolled his eyes he was going to fight Iris worlds in the balance or not. Then he was going to shove his foot up Gamera's butt for sleeping on the job. And then he was going to finally get some lousy sleep! Is that so much to ask for?!
Godzilla arched his body and breached the surface he looked out far enough away where people wouldn't spot him. But close enough to get a view of land. The beach looked like it stretched out to mountain range 20 miles east of him. That's were Iris was coming from. In front was a large city that resembled New York. It would be faster to go through the city to and encounter Iris head on. But the last time he tried that he had a MOAB dropped on his head. Didn't hurt but he was received three of the biggest lectures of his life from his Aunt Miki, Mothra, and Gamera about stomping through cities. Long way it is then.
............ Town of Canterlot ............
Sunset walked down the street from her apartment building looking into her backpack. Inside of it contained a calculator, compasses, maps of the mountain range and other scientific objects. She was defiantly ready to search the mountains high and low for the meteors that fell last night. Her curiosity from last night was driving her to search for what was going on. If there was a monster lurking around it had to be from Equestria.
"But what do I when I find it?" Sunset said to herself caught up in thought. Her investigation was really just a cover to get away from herself. She sighed to herself looking up into the sky wondering if this really was a good idea. Suddenly a white Rabbit bounced up to her looking frantic trying to get around her but Sunset was able to catch it.
"Woah there little guy where are you going?" She held up the little rabbit as it tried to get of her hands.
"Angel!" A soft voice was calling out from behind a building corner. Fluttershy walked out looking around for her pet rabbit.
"Well that easy." Sunset said with a small laugh walking over to Fluttershy but she soon had to stop herself feeling a tugging in her heart.
-They hate you.- A familiar voice called out to her through the wind. Sunset looked into the window to see a demon smiling back at her. Sunset shook her head trying to clear it when her vision cleared the demon was gone only she remained in the mirror. Along with someone else.
"Hiyah!" Pinkie Pie said appearing out of nowhere. Sunset nearly jumped out of her skin when she saw Pinkie standing next to her. Pinkie just stood there with a smile.
"Where'd you come from!" Sunset yelled a little bit but she quickly lowered her voice as her heart began to slow down, "I mean Pinkie what are doing here?"
"Oh I was just helping Fluttershy take care of the animals in the pet store." Pinkie said.
"Angel there you are." Fluttershy ran up to both of them. Sunset gave up Angle to his owner as he was in the air Angel tried to make a break for it.
"Easy little guy." Sunset had to grasp Angel tighter as he struggled before Fluttershy took him in her arms.
"I'm sorry he's not normally like this." Fluttershy kept Angel in a tight hold trying to calm the small rabbit down to no success.
"Yeah usually he's a bit of meanie." Pinkie Pie pet him on the head but Angel payed no attention to it just focusing up on the green mountains across from town. Sunset noticed where he was looking out to she rubbed her chin not noticing the fact that Pinkie was going through her bag. "Woah what is all this stuff Sunset?" Pinkie was pulling out almost all of Sunset's stuff.
"It's just some equipment I may have borrowed from Professor Zecora." Sunset said yanking her bag away from Pinkie before ended up taking out everything.
"She really let you borrow this stuff?" Fluttershy asked.
"I would help around the lab everyday when school went out. Zecora said I could keep these to do some research at home. Now that I think about it was probably the only nice thing I've ever done." Sunset said with a sigh.
"That couldn't have been the only the thing." Fluttershy tried to cheer her up but Sunset's mood seemed to be unchangeable, "Well then can you help me at the pet store?"
Sunset nearly jumped at the chance to start at a chance to make new friends but quickly was able to restrain herself. She acted cool keeping herself held firm, "Well I was going up to the mountains for a little project but I think I can stay and help for little while."
"Thanks a lot we could really use the extra help." Fluttershy said with a smile.
"So what seems to be the problem?" Sunset asked.
"Um that would be...." _______________________________________
",them." Fluttershy opened the door to her store to reveal the chaos that was going on inside. The animals were running around crazy ripping the small shop apart. The birds were flying in circles letting out high pitched chirps , the hamsters were running to the edge trying to claw their way out, and the cats were clung up in a group huddling together in fear.
"Oh boy." Sunset shoulder sunk down looking at the mess in front of her.
One hour of clean up and animal chasing later Sunset fell flat on her back huffing for breath. Fluttershy was wiping beads of sweat off her head and Pinkie Pie was still acting as hyper as ever checking in all of the animals. Sunset sat back up leaning on a counter she noticed one thing about all of the animals inside. They weren't just acting out they were afraid of something. Looks like her investigation is about to start early.
"Any idea when all this started?" Sunset asked.
"I think it was right after the Fall Formal I came to check on everyone and then there was a loud noise outside like an explosion." Fluttershy began to explain.
"Oh I heard that to!" Pinkie jumped in between them out nowhere, "I looked outside and saw these two giant fireworks in the sky. I just figured someone was throwing a big party. Could you believe that throwing a party without me! ME!"
"After that the animals all just started acting crazy like something was chasing them." Fluttershy continued on from Pinkie's ranting. Sunset was taking in both girls stories thinking things over. But before she could get a word in the doors to the pet store broke opened. Rainbow Dash, the coolest girl in school and the captain of almost every sports team in school, had a look of pure terror on her face.
"Fluttershy! I need your help fast." Rainbow Dash was shouting going straight for Fluttershy shaking her.
"What is it Rainbow Dash?" Fluttershy tried saying as Rainbow Dash shook her around.
"Just look for yourself!" Rainbow Dash pulled out her soccer bag unzipping it revealing a green tortoise shell inside it. Fluttershy looked carefully at it before looking back up at Rainbow.
"What's wrong?" Fluttershy asked.
"What's Wrong! Just look at Tank he won't come out of his shell!" Rainbow yelled in directly into Fluttershy's ear. Rainbow held Tank up close to Fluttershy nearly jamming the him down her throat.
"That's normal for a tortoise to do." Fluttershy tried to explain.
"Not for Tank! That's something wrong with him. Now are you going to help me or not?!"
Fluttershy sighed not attempting to fight Rainbow Dash once she gets an idea in her head she never changed her mind. She took Tank over to a counter looking him over. Generally he was healthy but when she held a stethoscope to his heart it seemed to be beating 100 miles a minute. Sunset stood behind Fluttershy watching her exam Rainbow's pet. Rainbow Dash was pacing back and forth trying to figure out what was wrong with him.
"Hey Rainbow Dash has Tank always acted this way?" Sunset asked.
"No he just started doing this."
"Last night?" Sunset finished Rainbow's sentence for her beginning to put some pieces together.
"Yeah how did you know?"
"Call it a lucky hunch." Sunset showed Rainbow the other scared animals.
"What's up with them?" Rainbow looked closely at all of the animals in the room. Before Sunset could answer Applejack and Rarity more came into the pet store both of them shouting the same thing.
"Fluttershy I need your help! Hey I was here first! Stop copying me!"
"Um girls what's wrong?" Fluttershy asked causing both Rarity and Applejack to stop their mini fight. Applejack held up Winona and Rarity turned around to show that Opal had her claws dug into her back. Both pet's where shaking with fear.
"It's Winona."
"It's Opal."
"Let me guess they both started acting this way last night?" Sunset asked both of them.
"How'd you know?" Applejack asked.
"Lucky hunch." Rainbow Dash said showing Rarity and Applejack all of the animals inside.
"What's wrong with them?" Rarity said trying to pry Opal off her back.
"Didn't you guys see the news this morning?" Sunset looked to all of them only to receive confused glances back at her, "They were talking about a monster at the beach."
"A m-m-m-m-MONSTER!" Fluttershy was ready to jump out of her skin if Rainbow Dash hadn't scoffed off the idea.
"Come on everyone knows monster don't exist."
Sunset's eyelids lowered along with everyone else, "Did you forget I turned into a raging she demon last night."
"And the fact that all of us turned into ponies." Applejack bounced off of her.
"And that Sunset Shimmer tried to turn everyone into an army of unthinking zombies to take over another world." Pinkie Pie said but when she looked over to Sunset the girl was looking down on her self, "Oh sorry about that."
"Don't be I really messed last night." Sunset said with a sigh.
"Let's not focus on who did what." Rarity said with a smile, "Now I do believe you were telling us about a monster."
Sunset regained herself silently thanking Rarity, "Well in Equestria monsters are about as common as they come and last right after Twilight left I saw three shooting stars in the sky." Sunset her map out of her bag showing everyone the lines that connected were each star had fallen off to, "One went here right over the city and if I'm right it landed in the ocean were our supposed monster appeared."
"And where did the other two go?" Applejack asked looking at the lines Sunset drew noticing that they were close to her home.
"Well if I'm right they may have landed somewhere out in the mountains."
"That's close to my farm!" Applejack shouted worry evident in her voice, "But I didn't see anything last night."
"But did you hear anything?" Sunset asked.
Applejack thought for minute before she did remember hearing a sound the night before, "Yeah it sounded like fire works going off."
"That matches what Pinkie Pie said." Sunset looked out into the mountains narrowing her eyes, "Looks like that's were I'll start searching first."
"Wait your going up there alone?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Back home I would always go off to study the manticores and watch the dragon migrations. This can't be any different." Sunset began to pack her stuff away ready to go but Applejack stopped her.
"Well it will be this time sugar cue." Applejack said with Rainbow Dash smiling behind her.
"Yeah this time we're coming along." Rainbow Dash said ready for some fun.
"I've been looking for an excuse to break out my new hiking clothes that I designed." Rarity said.
"Do all of us have to go I mean maybe one of can stay here and look after all the cute little animals." Fluttershy was shaking behind the a counter but Pinkie Pie was already pulling her along.
"Come on Fluttershy you love animals and that's all that monsters are." Pinkie said but Fluttershy was holding on to the counter with a death grip.
"You guys wanna come with me?" Sunset asked.
"I many times do I have to keep saying this," Applejack playfully flicked Sunset in the head, "we're friends now. And friends always stick together."
................ Mountain Range ..............
Iris stood in the forest like a statue the power he was searching for was on the move again. He needed time to gather his thoughts. There was something strange about his situation he just couldn't figure out what it was. The hatred in the world was incredibly low not like how it was during his first reign. It was impossible for it to fade in the short time since his death.
His head snapped up. Something was coming Iris turned to the east he could sense a strong power source headed his way. It wasn't Gamera but something as strong as him. It was also a swirling pool of different emotions hatred, rage, despair they were strongest swelling up inside of it. This could be a worthy source of food for the God. If he were to absorb it then Gamera fall to him. His tentacles began to split apart revealing four translucent blue wings. Iris took off into the sky chasing off to meet his prey.
.............. Beach area close to the mountain ranges .............
Godzilla rose from the ocean looking around for signs of life. Looks like he's alone good. He stomped onto the sandy beach his body was already tense. Something was wrong it was to quiet here. The birds weren't chirping like they were all hiding from something. He snarled cracking his nothing he could sense Iris's presence but not he couldn't see him. There was a shift in the wind bringing in a smell of all that was near him. The smell of the trees, the salt in the air, and death!
The air around Godzilla spilt apart when a sonic ray shot straight toward him. He dodged but the ray still managed to pierce his shoulder. He roared in pain clutching his bleeding shoulder he looked up to see his attacker. Iris touched down on the beach letting out a shriek when he saw Godzilla. Godzilla let out his own earth shaking roar. His muscles and bones had already regenerated Godzilla back spines flashed before letting out his atomic breath.
Iris raised his tentacles up smacking away Godzilla's attack into the ocean causing the water to explode on impact. He looked over to Godzilla moaning as the king of monster began to circle around him. Iris remembered Godzilla being there with Gamera on the island. Even then his power was astounding. He made make for excellent power source. Then he would skin this monster alive.
Godzilla watched as both Iris and his tentacles if he took his eyes off either then he would have more than a hole in his shoulder. When compared to size Godzilla only came up to the demon kaiju's chest and when compared to looks Iris was easily topping Hedorah as the weirdest looking monster he's ever fought. Other kaiju would be intimidated just by the sight of this creature. But a lesson his father taught him was playing over and over again in his head. The bigger they are the harder you fight.
Godzilla struck a battle pose roaring a challenge at Iris. They both began to size each other up. Time slowed for both monsters before they both charged forward colliding in an earth shatter slam. The death match was on.
Godzilla dodged an incoming sonic ray attack and countered by slamming his tail into Iris's skull. The demonic kaiju roared in annoyance as he staggered back. Godzilla took advantage of Iris's confusion by running charging into Iris in an attempt to knock him back. But Iris was able to keep his footing this time the king tried to push harder but Iris wasn't moving. His tentacles swayed behind him before two of them rose behind Godzilla. The arrow shaped tips opened wide fireballs forming inside of them before firing off behind him nailing him square in the back. Godzilla roared in pain losing his grip on Iris he fell to his knees smoke coming off from his back.
Iris let out a demonic roar like chuckle before bringing down one of his spear shaped arms. Smashing Godzilla in the face with a brutal right hook the sharp edge slashing against his face. He snarled at Iris blood dripping down his cheek. Iris was easily shaping up to be one of his most powerful opponents. The fact creature didn't have a face was also bothering him, he was unable to tell what this creature was thinking only sensing the bloodlust coming off it. Iris's right hand began to glow blue causing Godzilla to snap his head back in surprise.
Iris could fell Godzilla's power flowing through him it felt incredible but this was just a fraction and he wanted more. Iris stared at Godzilla like a predator staring down it's prey. All four of his tentacles rose up behind him two of them opened charging two mana infused fire balls the others hummed charging the particles in the air. Godzilla watched on as the combination attack began to charge. He to time this just right or else he was dead. Time slowed for Godzilla as his back spines glowed to life his hole body began to glow bright blue. Iris fired his sonic beams and the mana blast. Godzilla roared as a nuclear pulse went straight through his body.
The attacks collided Godzilla's nuclear pulse formed a minor shield against the attacks but it also put a large drain on his energy. Godzilla stood up on his shaking legs huffing for breath. There was a massive cloud of dust combing with his blurry vision Godzilla could barley see. But he could hear. A whale like moan cried out behind him Godzilla turned to see his enemy still standing with barely any visible wounds other than small black marks on his body. Godzilla snarled cracking his knuckles the fight was far from over.
............. National Park ...........
Applejack's van came to a stop just at the edge of the forest Sunset was the first to get out looking over her map. She breathed a sigh of relief to be out of the car. The ride up was so awkward with her not saying a word for the entire ride up. She was still getting used to the whole having friends thing. The others exited the van stretching their muscles out. AJ paid close attention to Sunset not helping but feeling bad for her. Through the entire ride she watched Sunset stare out of the window with a nervous sweat coming down her face.
"Man was she always this quiet? Fluttershy put up more of a conversation." Rainbow Dash whispered to Rarity.
"She's just nervous Rainbow. You know how hard it is to make new friends." Rarity said.
Applejack could over hear their conversation she sighed knowing exactly how Sunset felt. That feeling of not knowing who to talk or what to say. In this case however Sunset wasn't just trying to make new friends but she was also trying to apologize for almost everything that she's done for the past fours years.
-Well if she's nervous being with all of at once then maybe someone on one time might do the trick.- Applejack thought to herself. She walked over to Sunset, who studying her map, "Hey Sunset any idea where we're goin."
"No idea those two meteors I saw last night could have landed anywhere." Sunset said. Applejack looked at the map studying the forest in her head. She took out her cell phone checking if the signals would stay this far out in the wilderness . Once she saw that the signal was strong she smiled.
"Well then in that case let's spilt up we can cover more ground that way." Applejack suggested.
"That doesn't really sound like a good idea." Sunset said.
"I agree maybe we should just stay here in the nice safe car. Where there aren't any monsters." Fluttershy said shaking like a leaf.
"Come on y'all if we go in a group it take all day to find whatever's out there. But if we split up into groups there's a better chance of us finding something." Applejack explained but Sunset still seemed nervous about the idea, "And if we do find anything out there we just call up the others."
"I think it sounds like a good plan AJ. You and I can probably move faster than everyone here." Rainbow Dash said with a sly smile while getting annoyed full looks from everyone else.
"Actually Rainbow I was thinking it be better if you went with Fluttershy to the beach. I'll head out with Sunset by the lake." Applejack was about to go on but was soon interrupted by a gasping Rarity.
"Wait just one minute! If your going with Sunset and Rainbow Dash is going with Fluttershy then means I'm going with." there was a loud burst of confetti next to her confirmed Rarity's fears as Pinkie Pie jumped out in front of her.
"We're going to be the best team ever!" Pinkie shouted putting Rarity into a hard choke hold.
............ Lake ...........
Sunset Shimmer and Applejack made their way through the forest searching through the canopy searching for any signs of either a monster or the burn marks of a meteor. With each step they took both girls finally made it to the beautiful lake front. Sunset couldn't help but take in the beauty she had one of the biggest smiles on her face.
"I see you like the lake. Figured you would I take my sister up her all the time." Applejack said with a smile.
"It really is beautiful." Sunset said looking around. Something kept coming up in the back of mind. Why would Applejack want to bring her all the way out here by herself?
"You think something is out here?"
"Yeah it would make sense last night people said they one of these things out in the ocean. So maybe their some kind of sea creatures."
"So going to the lake was good choice?"
"Yep good call Applejack." Sunset said, "But why did you come want to come out here with me?"
Applejack just shrugged not thinking to hard about the answer, "Well you were pretty nervous around all of us at once. So I figured it better if you get to know our little group one at a time."
Sunset smiled from the warmth of the answer, "Thanks Applejack."
"No problem and you can call me AJ most my friends do." Applejack said as she began to examine the area around her.
-Do you really believe that?- A sinister voice played into Sunset's head. She looked around but saw nothing. -In the water.- The voice called again.
Sunset moved away from Applejack, who was busy looking around to notice, heading straight for the lake. She looked at her reflection to see both her and not herself at the same time. A red skinned demon was staring back at her with annoyed frown.
-Do really think that after everything we've done they would forgive us just like that? They hate you Sunset, they hate us, and we should hate them.-
"But Applejack was-"
-Was tricking you! She hates you!-
"No."
-Yes!-
"SHUT UP!" Sunset's rage was boiling at hearing the demons venom. She smashed her fist into the water huffing. Applejack heard Sunset shouting and hitting the water.
"Sunset! What wrong?!" Applejack raced over to Sunset's side.
SKREEEEEEONK!
Sunset and Applejack's heads shot up when they heard the monstrous roar echo through the sky. The skies began to open up as a massive black form fell from it straight into the side of the mountain. The reverberating boom could be heard across the forest along with the sound of a whale like shriek. A massive body began to descend from the sky four massive blue wings held it's body in the air. Sunset and Applejack's jaws dropped when they saw Iris hovering in the sky.
Iris looked at the unconscious form of Godzilla. The king of the monsters looked like a former version of himself his body was thinned and there was blood leaking out of his mouth, his stomach was smoking from a mana blast. But the worst was his right shoulder embed inside of it was one of Iris's talons. Iris was cackling he could feel Godzilla's power coursing through him. His wounds were mending themselves and the spear tip on his arm was growing due to Godzilla's healing factor.
Godzilla had been defeated. Iris prepared to finish the monster king once and for all as one his tentacles closed. The sound was condensing as a sonic ray began to form. That's when he felt it the energy he'd been tracking it was so close. He looked down searching the canopy there were humans below him but one of them stood out. He could feel her energy it was small but also strong, latent power, his favorite kind. Even better was the amount of hatred he could feel from her.
Applejack and Sunset hadn't moved since seeing Iris. They were both sweating bullets neither could move just shake out of pure fear. The pressure Iris gave off was intense. It was like staring at death itself.
"S-S-S-Sunset is that what we've been looking for." Applejack finally managed to spit out.
"That thing isn't from Equestria I've never heard of something like that." Sunset said shaking in fear she tried to look away but couldn't bring herself to. That's when the shock went through both of them Iris's head turned right at them. His tentacles began to fold as he made his descent down. Before either of them could think of running Iris was already on the ground. His touch down was like a mini earthquake knocking both girls off their feet. Sunset felt the sweat run down faster along her face when Iris turned his faceless head toward her.
"Applejack we have to run fast!" Sunset shouted pulling Applejack on her feet. They both tried to but Iris was already preparing for the fusion. He kneelt down and the front orb of his stomach began to open. Blue human sized tentacles began to snake there way out. Applejack and Sunset ran as fast as their legs would let them all they could do was hope to get away. Sunset felt a tug around her ankle and her view of the world go from the forest in front of her to the hard ground. She looked back to see a blue tentacle wrapped around her ankle and was pulling her toward Iris. She screamed trying in vain to kick it off but the grip was like iron.
"Sunset!" Applejack stopped running and turned herself around at lightning speed she dove down grabbing Sunset's hand, "Don't let go!" Applejack began to pull trying to keep Sunset from moving. But it was in vain as her boots began to dig trenches into the ground.
Iris watched the two humans feeling almost amused by it. Their struggles were so small to him. He was still feeling hungry maybe he could have just one more snack.
Applejack suddenly felt a tight sensation on her waist. Sunset gasped when she saw the tentacle around Applejack's stomach. The breath went out of Applejack when Iris squeezed her. Both of them began to get pulled into Iris.
To caught up in the moment Iris failed to notice the that the lake was glowing.
.............. Lake Bottom ...........
A massive form sat at the bottom of the water. The world around him was so dark and muffled, there was a sharp pain going through his shoulder. Gamera could feel his head. Where was he? What happened to him?
"Please you must hurry." A soft voice went through his head, "Your friend is endanger please you must hurry."
His friend was in danger? What friend? Gamera's head shot up his memories began to return to him. The battle! Godzilla!
"You have time to save. The demon is close by there is an innocence that he wants. Please save her."
Gamera roared bubbles floating out of his mouth. He could feel Iris's aura along with Godzilla's weakened aura just above him he snarled. Godzilla faced the demon alone and paid a price for it. The demon was going to pay for this. Gamera was not one to tolerate evil but Iris was something even worse. He balled his fist and beat his tail on the lake bottom pushing himself off the ground Gamera made for the surface.
............. Back on the Surface ............
Sunset tried to free herself but soon found it to be nearly impossible. She looked over to Applejack the girl had passed out from the tight grip Iris had on her lungs. Sunset looked around trying to find some way of to free them but nothing was there. She closed her eyes ready accept her fate. But as soon she felt herself being pulled she suddenly felt herself stop.
MRRRRRAH!
There was a loud snarl above her. Sunset opened her eyes to see a giant snarling and enraged turtle with tusk staring down at the monster trying to take her. It was keeping her and Applejack from getting devoured. She still felt fear but the sight of this new creature some how made her feel safe.
"Please help us." Sunset cried out tears running down her face.
Gamera could hear her well he snarled looking Iris down. A fire ball began to build in the back of his throat.
Iris didn't take much from Gamera's threatening glare. In fact he had a new attack he wanted to test.
Iris's body flashed blue before one of his longer tentacles rose up the arrow tip opening shooting out a familiar attack. Iris used the atomic breath. Gamera's eyes widen with surprise as Godzilla's attack hit him square in the chest. The giant turtle was knocked back letting go of Sunset and Applejack.
Sunset could only watch as her last hope of getting away was blasted back. That's when she felt a tug on her leg in a flash Iris pulled both her and Applejack inside of him. The last sound she heard was the roar of Gamera as he tried to grab her again.
Gamera looked down at his hand realizing he was to slow. He looked at Iris as the demonic kaiju rose back up letting out a hate filled shriek.

"Sunset wake up. Sunset." A voice was calling out to her Sunset held onto her head to try and stop her raging headache. When she opened her eyes all there was darkness. It was pitch black and soul crushing the pressure was so immense. Her chest felt like it was going to cave in. She could also feel something wrapped around her body. She looked down to see two red arms wrapped around her body. When she turned her head to see piercing black and green eyes staring back a her. A fanged face smiled back at her. She was ready to scream but her mouth was covered.
"Hush we have a lot to talk about Sunset." the demon said.
Sunset struggled in the demon's grip but it was to no avail as her grip was like iron. The demon just smiled looking at her good half try to get away from her.
"How long do you plan on struggling? I'm starting to feel like you don't like me."
"Get away from me!" Sunset screamed trying to fight more only to just fail again causing the demon to laugh harder.
"You can't get away from me. We'll be together forever. I mean who else do you have?"
"My friends!"
"Your friends? You mean like her?" The demon pointed out in the darkness to reveal a dim light causing Sunset's eyes to widen. Applejack was wrapped up in tendrils. Her body would twitch along with a strange glow that would come off them. Sunset tried to reach out to her but the demon held her back.
"What have you done to her?!"
"Who said I did anything? This is all his doing."
"Who?!"
"Can't you feel it he's all around us."
Sunset felt the cold embrace of the demons words echo through her head as she suddenly heard a small beat. When she looked down Sunset saw something staring back up at her. The eye was massive nothing else was connected to it but Sunset could tell that there was malevolent intent behind it's stare. She gulped felling it's icy cold stare.
"What is that?!"
"I don't know but this power fells amazing!"
"Do you wish for power?" A cold voice came into Sunset's head but also sounded like it was coming from all around her.
"Of course!" The demon answered for both of them.
"What do you want this power for?"
"To rule over those who betrayed me." The demon smiled putting her hand over Sunset's mouth to keep her better half from talking.
"Do you hate them?"
Sunset shook her head trying to express her feelings but the demon merely looked angered by her actions. She looked right into Sunset's eyes, " How many times do have to say this? They hate us!"
Sunset looked at her demonic form her lips were quivering she was trying not to let the words get to her. The demon rolled her eyes letting out a drawn out annoyed sigh she put her finger on top of Sunset's forehead.
"I really didn't want to do this but you leave me no choice."
Sunset's eyes flashed along with the world around her. Things went from being a dark cold void to a peaceful afternoon sun in a city she was all to familiar with. Canterlot palace. She was surprised to say the least but more so when she looked into a window. In the reflection was a small unicorn with fiery red hair and emerald green eyes. Sunset gasped at the fact that she was back in her original form and more so that she was back home. Her legs were already moving before she could even process what was going on. But with each step her movements seemed strange. Like she had no control of it.
"What's going on?"
"Pay attention." The demon's voice echoed in her head.
Sunset kept moving faster through the palace. This scene was familiar to her some how but something was off about it. Like she didn't want to be here. But her legs kept pushing her forward from a simple trod to a full on gallop. A smile was coming on to her face. Why was she doing that?
"Almost there I should get some popcorn ready." The demon's statement caused Sunset a moment of confusion. Before she could ponder what was said to her someone walked past her. It was just for a moment but already recognized who had just walked past her. White fur, long wings followed by a horn, not to mention this was the tallest pony alive with a bright sun on her flank. It was Princess Celestia. She passed a corner not noticing her former student.
Sunset felt the smile on her face widen and her speed increased. She ran faster down the hallway ready to meet her teacher and greatest friend. Words were forming at the bottom of her throat she was ready to say something. She turned the corner but instantly her smile disappeared and there was a pain in her chest. Celestia was smiling but not at her at the princess's feet was a purple unicorn mare. The princess was giving her words of encouragement.
"You remember this day don't you? The day you came back from this miserable world to apologize only to find that Celestia replaced you. Filled your head full of dreams and telling you that you were meant to be special! And what does she do? Replace you like some old toy!
The world around Sunset became dark and bleak again the memory she was standing in was gone. But the pain in her heart and tears coming down her face were still there. She felt the tears being wiped from her face the demon looked right at her but instead of her normal disappointed frown or smug smile she had the same sad look Sunset was making.
"One good thing did come out of that day. I was born from your pain and we both vowed to get revenge on her."
"Hate is good, Hate is strong." The cold voice from before entered Sunset's mind again.
"I couldn't have said it better myself."
"But Applejack and the others."
"Will hurt you just as bad if not worse than Celestia. The only reason their even talking to you is because Twilight told them to. They don't like you and never will. The only friend you have is me and I'll never hurt you. Now what do you say about taking over this world and then Equestira?"
The demon held out her hand to Sunset who looked at it then to Applejack. Tears started to form in her eyes. Her demonic half took the moment of weakness to smile and push her hand closer.
"My name is Iris. Become my host and power shall be yours. All that you hate shall burn."
The demon interlocked her fingers with Sunset pulling her in closer. She didn't bother struggling anymore her demonic half's mind game had worked. Her mind and heart were both broken allowing for three core emotions to take hold. Sadness, Confusion, and Rage. Sunset was pulled in closer her body becoming one with the demon.
"Glad you saw things my way." She whispered before enveloping Sunset. She tested her fingers before kicking her legs. Sunset's body was her body once again. She laughed uncontrollably enjoying the situation, "Oh it feels so good to be back! Iris right? I gladly accept your offer if it means watching this world burn!"
"Then become my host your power is my power, your strength is my strength. What is your name?"
"Fallen Light." She answered looking down at the massive eye, that was Iris, below her with a wicked smile. To caught up in the moment Fallen Light didn't notice the small glow coming off of Applejack or the fact that her hair was growing longer.
Gamera narrowly dodged a sonic ray that nearly cleaved his head off. The two kaiju had carved a path of uprooted trees and fallen rocks as they chased each other up the mountains. Gamera was flying trying to lure Iris away from anymore humans and to also find a place where he wouldn't need to hold back. With Godzilla down he was on his own. Iris hissed stopping his sonic rays and charging his new weapon a blue glow began to form on his front tentacles. Atoms where coming together in a mass of energy. Finally the attack stopped charging and Iris fired two atomic breaths. The attack had a wider spread than the sonic ray making it harder for Gamera to avoid.
He dodged one beam only to be hit in the side by another. The guardian roared out in pain as he began to freefall into the rocks bellow. He landed hard on the ground bellow back first. Like any turtle when on his back Gamera struggled to get back to his feet. Which gave Iris nothing but pleasure to as he closed wings and fell out of the sky. Using all of his force the demonic kaiju landed right on Gamera's stomach making a creator. Gamera coughed up blood as Iris put more of his weight on down on the turtle some of his shell was leaking blood.
With blood leaking down his face Gamera sneered at Iris refusing to let his enemy see him as weak. Iris roared kicking Gamera in the face wrapping a tentacle around his throat. Squeezing down hard causing Gamera to struggle the turtles mind was racing trying to think of away to escape. Iris looked into the guardian's face watching the life leave his eyes as he pressed down harder. Gamera could feel his neck starting to break Iris was planning on ending this fast. The world around him was going dark fast the only thing Gamera could think of doing was punch Iris in the face.
It was desperate but it was just the chance he needed. As Iris began to turn his head to dodge the attack he exposed the soft flesh on his neck. Acting fast Gamera let the bone like blade in his elbow fly out cutting Iris in the throat. The demon screamed in pain letting go of Gamera. As soon he hit the ground Gamera went to work, blasting at Iris's feet with mana balls, knocking the squid of balance before landing a hard upper cut followed by a right hook. Iris fell flat his tentacles waving in the air firing everything in their arsenal Gamera took the confusion to his advantage flying off to the top of the mountain to catch his breath.
He stood on a high cliff face looking down at Iris. To his horror and surprise Iris was able to stand back up and even worse the wound on his neck was closing. Not only did Iris have Godzilla's weapons he also had the monster king's healing factor. But seeing this also sparked an idea in Gamera's head.
Iris's version of the atomic breath wasn't as strong as the original but it was still made from pure radiation. Combine that with a plasma fueled mana blast then that would revive Godzilla. Gamera began running a plan through his head. It could work but first he had to get Iris to use the attack. He roared firing a ball of fire directly at Iris, who quickly knocked it away before turning to look at it the turtle.
Pure rage was going through Iris's head as he felt blood dripping down his neck. Death was to much of a gift for the turtle. He was going peel his skin off, tear out his eyes, break every bone in his body. Until Gamera was nothing more than a puddle of meat.
Gamera prepared for whatever Iris was about to do bracing his body. Readying his jets and mana building in the back of his throat Gamera leapt forward. His back legs were sucked into his body replaced by azure blue flames, fireballs flew out of his mouth, as he broke the sound barrier. Iris was able to knock away some of the balls of fire but he was soon overcome by the amount Gamera was shooting out. Smoke began to blind him. Unable to see Iris didn't see the 120 tons of flying turtle that crashed into him at Mach 3. Iris was beginning to be pushed back as Gamera began to pump more power into his jets.
Iris jammed two of tentacles into the ground to keep himself anchored into the ground. The others hovered above Gamera atoms coming together inside of them. Just what he wanted. The rest of Gamera's limbs retracted back into his body and the turtle began to rotate letting the edge of his shell act like a buzz saw scraping the top half of Iris's chest before flying to the right. Iris roared chasing after Gamera charging up atomic breath.
Gamera began to make a mad dash to Godzilla making sure Iris was right behind him. Something was starting to change in him like the creature was gaining more power. The orbs on Iris began to glow but instead of yellowish green type color it was of a blazing red and black. Aura began to dance around him along with green blots of lightning. His host was finally starting to work with him her echoing through his head.
Iris cackled as green energy danced off of his body. This energy he'd never felt it before it was incredible. His tentacles began to glow as stones began to levitate around him. Gamera was shocked when he felt what was going on inside Iris, sensing the mad creatures sudden power increase. Even without a face Gamera could tell Iris had a smug expression. The orb inside of Iris's skull pulsed before the kaiju disappeared. Gamera didn't have time to register what was happening when he felt a sudden weight on his back. The boulders Iris was lifting fell from the sky landing directly on the turtle kaiju's shell.
Off balance Gamera began to tumble into the cliff side. Just then Iris appeared right where Gamera was going to land. Atomic breath shot out of Iris nailing Gamera in the side. He screamed in pain landing hard against the mountain's side his shell was slightly cracked and sizzling. The pain that was going through him insane. Blood was vomiting out of his mouth. The world was getting dark around him.
Can't give up not now.
There was a weak moan from overhead. Gamera lifted his head up to see a shriveled Godzilla just a few miles away. If he flew he could make it there and at least give Godzilla a minor charge. He had to at least give him a fighting chance. Gamera opened his mouth preparing a plasma filled fire ball taking aim at the fallen king. His legs began to go back into his body.
There was a flash and Iris appeared in front of Gamera stopping down on his skull. This was beyond enjoyable to him seeing Gamera in such a pitiful state. He heard the weak calls coming from Godzilla. Looks like he's losing his touch. Easily correctable.
Iris wrapped one of his tentacles around Gamera's throat lifting the massive turtle off the ground. Iris began to squeeze down on the guardian's windpipe enjoying the squeaking roar that came out of Gamera. With a quick flick Iris tossed Gamera away. To disoriented from having his throat crushed Gamera was unable to correct himself in the air. He could only watch the world speed by him before crashing into Godzilla. The impact crater that Godzilla had created, when first slammed into the mountain, caved in and both kaiju fell into the mountain.
Iris watched on as a feminine laugh was going through his head. His new host was working and the power she gave him was incredible! Vengeance would soon be his and then the world will know true horror. But something felt off inside of him it was weak but he felt something pulse like there was another power inside him. Was it the other human?
"Iris what are you doing?" Fallen Light asked her voice echoing in his head, "Let's end this already. I want to burn this world out of existence."
Iris stood still he could feel something was wrong inside of him but he wanted to finish this fight. His body began to glow green and he teleported straight to the hole Gamera and Godzilla created. He'll end this now then figure out this new problem later. ............. Unknown ..............
Fallen Light smiled she could see everything that Iris saw. She didn't know what these creatures were. But crushing them was giving her great joy. Iris's power was flowing around her changing her body as well. Her wings began to grow black feathers and a horn had grown out of her forehead. Her eyes had a dark glow in them.
"That's it Iris kill them, kill them!" She said with a sick laugh. So caught up with her laughing that she didn't notice that the only other person with her was starting to move. Applejack's eyes began to flutter open. There was a glow coming off her body as her pony tail began to grow. Her vision was hazy and there was a hard ringing in her ear. Every time she tried to move her arms they wouldn't budge.
"What in the world's going in on?" Applejack thought out loud getting the attention of Fallen.
"So you're still alive cow girl." She sneered looking down at Applejack.
"Sunset is that you?" Applejack groaned her vision was starting to come back. Expecting to be met by the warm face of Sunset Shimmer she gasped when met with the fanged face of Fallen Light.
"Well your half right." Fallen said with a laugh.
"Sunset?! Why are you in that form again?"
"Simple she chose to take it. After our little heart to heart of course. Oh and could you please not call me that name anymore. I go by Fallen Light now." She flashed her fangs at the farm girl. Fallen looked over Applejack's form noticing that her hair was longer causing her to cock a confused brow. She pulled on her hair looking over her form, "What is this?"
"What do you mean she chose to take it? Just who in the hay are you?!" Applejack demanded Fallen just glared at her pulling on her hair again, "Do you mind?! That kind of hurts!"
"You should treat those with higher power with more respect. Since this is going to be your last day alive I'll take some pity on you and tell you what I am."
"Don't bother I already know." Applejack smirked gaining Fallen Light's attention, "You're just a massive, annoying, pain in the as-gaak!"
Fallen Light hissed at Applejack pulling on her hair again. Green flames were practically shooting out of her eyes she held a claw up to her chin. "Mind your tongue you worthless ant! I am rage incarnated! The only reason you're alive right now is because I allow it!"
"Sorry but honesty is kind of my thing." Applejack said as her ears began to morph from human to that of a pony. There was magic in every part of this space and it began to flow into Applejack's body. Fallen Light began to back up seeing Applejack take the same form as the night before. Applejack suddenly felt her strength increase and she began to rip away at the tendrils holding her place.
"You have the power of an Earth pony?!" Fallen Light shouted as Applejack began to free herself more. The power that was flowing around them and giving Fallen Light her power was having the same effect on Applejack the only difference was the type of magic inside both of them. She knocked the demons hand away from her causing Fallen to hiss at her.
"Sunset I thought you wanted to be friends?!"
"Friendship is for the weak!" Fallen Light hissed before lunging at Applejack flashing her fangs, "And I am not weak!" She knocked Applejack down growling in her face.
"Then what was last night? And why were you so happy when you helped Fluttershy?" Applejack asked causing Fallen Light to stop growling. Her eyes began to change color from having pitch black sclera to solid white along with tears coming out. She let go of Applejack looking into her eyes. When Fallen Light spoke it wasn't her normal cold voice.
"AJ help me."
"Sunset is that really you?!"
"AJ h...h...help m...m...me!" She called again before holding her head, "Be quiet I'm doing this for you! She hates you they all do!"
"Now that's a bold face lie if I ever heard one!" Applejack grabbed the demon girl by her shoulders, "Sunset I wasn't lying when I said I wanted to be your friend!"
She smiled and spoke again as Sunset but her voice's tone didn't match her body language, "AJ run!" she shouted in a panicked voice that soon turned into a crazed laugh as her eyes turned black again, "Tell me then is this a lie?! She slashed at Applejack who was barely able to dodge in time. The farm girl clutched her bleeding side as Fallen Light continued to laugh at her. The demon licked the blood off her finger tips her other hand had a fire dancing across it, "I am going to burn you alive! Am I lying now AJ?!" Fallen Light shouted with a crazed look on her face.
"I really wish you were!" Applejack said dodging the incoming ball of fire.
................ Caverns ................ Godzilla felt the world around him spinning. Each time he tried to move his body it was met with immense pain rushing through his entire body. His vision was hazy but he could feel a massive weight on his body. There was a weak roar next to him along with hard breathing. There was also something warm and wet on his body. Something was wrong but he couldn't figure out was going on. He could only remember fighting Iris and getting hit by a mana ball that he didn't see coming. Then there was a pain in his shoulder and everything went black.
Everything was starting to take shape again when he looked up he saw he was inside of some cavern. The only light coming through was from a hole in the ceiling. Along with a strange scent and the weight on his body was still there. When he looked down he finally saw what was on him. The monster king's eyes widen in pure shock at the sight in front of him.
Gamera was on top of him blood was oozing out of him and his shell had cracks around it. His right arm was dangling on by his side clearly broken. The giant turtle's eyes seemed to be glazed over each breath he took was agony. The monster had been beaten within an inch of his life.
There was a flash of light creating what looked like a miniature sun had just touched down. Two cloven feet touched down on the solid rock floor. Iris had a green glow coming from the orb in his skull and going down his body. The demonic kaiju roared looking over at his two fallen enemies. Godzilla snarled at him as Iris made his way toward them. A green aura wrapped itself around Gamera's body lifting the guardian off of Godzilla's body. Iris brought Gamera down hard on the ground and stepped on his head. Godzilla roared in pure fury as he tried to stand back up but pain shot right through his body.
His body felt like it was on fire each bone felt like it was going to snap in half. But the sight of Iris cracking Gamera's skull was driving him into a fit of pure rage. Godzilla ignored the pain as he slowly rose back up to his feet. His back spines barely making a glow due to his low power. But he didn't care seeing his friend in danger was causing his rage to spike even higher. Iris took notice sensing the massive spike in hatred coming from Godzilla. But that wasn't the only thing causing Iris to stop attacking Gamera there was something wrong in body.
He felt off there was something going on inside of his body. He felt something wrong with his host and there was something else inside of him. There was a power growing but it wasn't helping him. He also felt heat inside of his body. Iris didn't have time to think matters over as a rampaging Godzilla came straight at him. The enraged titian ripped his jaws open and a weak atomic breath came out. It barely did anything to Iris who just shrugged it off.
Iris took a step forward getting ready to end Godzilla but he stopped. The heat inside of him was growing it was insane and painful. Iris roared out in pain as green flames began to erupt from his body.
What's going on?!
.................. Unknown ................ Fallen Light was growling as she sent another ball straight at Applejack who dodged out of the way. Green fire began to pour out of her as she raced after her target.
"Sunset come on I know you're in there!" Applejack cried out.
"Shut up and die already!" Fallen Light yelled pouncing on Applejack. She smiled as Applejack cried out as her shoulders began to burn, "How about we turn up the heat?" Fallen had flames coming out of her burning everything around the two girls. Fallen Light was laughing as she saw Applejack cry out in pain. She continued laugh but suddenly felt something warm in her heart. The warmth soon turned to searing heat. The demon girl feel off Applejack clutching her chest, "What's going on?!"
Applejack watched as Fallen Light looked like she was having a heart attack. Suddenly a shriek went off in the darkness and everything began to shake.
"They feel the same pain." A soft voice echoed in Applejack's head.
"Who are you?"
"No time! You must make her use more fire if you wish to save your friend!" The voice spoke quickly.
Applejack hesitated at the thought after nearly being turned to ash not only seconds ago. But then she thought back to Sunset pleading for her help. "I...If you say so." She sucked up her courage and rose back as Fallen Light began to rise herself, breathing heavily. "Don't worry Sunset I'm going to get you back!"
"I won't let you!" Fallen shouted as fire began to shoot out of her body more. She was beyond angry at this point the pain she felt in her chest combined with Applejack constantly fighting her was starting to get to her. At this point her rage was starting to break. She looked like a rabid animal. Foam was coming out her mouth followed by an animalistic howl. She fired a searing blast straight at Applejack who dodged out of the. But it did hit something which caused another tremor around the girls. There was a cry pain that came from all around it matched only by Fallen's only scream.
She clutched her chest falling to her knees. But her eyes were trained on Applejack staring daggers into the farm girl. Applejack on the other hand was starting to see what was going. "Hey you couldn't hit the board side of a barn." She shouted trying to antagonize the demon even more. Which was easy to do as Fallen roared at her.

Godzilla watched Iris with a shocked expression. The mutant Gyaos was had green flames shooting out of his body and was roaring in pain. It began to shoot out of his body like one Godzilla's nuclear pulses it was hot enough to burn the rocks around them. Godzilla had to take a step back to avoid having his weakened body burned. Iris wasn't paying attention as he began to stumble around his body still on fire. Another pulse of fire went off this one larger than the others.
Godzilla couldn't avoid the blast so he braced himself ready to be burned. But the flames never touched him it didn't even seem hot inside the cave. Iris was to busy with the flames on his body to notice the large form rising up behind him. Godzilla looked on in shock as he low roar echoed through the cavern.

Fallen was starting to get closer to Applejack panting she ignored the pain coursing through her body. Applejack was able to keep on her toes due to a slight increase in her speed but was starting to get tired. She could tell how long she'd been playing extreme dodge ball but was starting to get to her. Fallen let out another fireball it didn't hit Applejack but it was able to trip her up. Applejack tumbled giving Fallen the chance she needed. The demon rose her hand up facing towards Applejack, who was getting out of her daze, Fallen smiled. "Goodbye cow girl."
Fallen got ready to incinerate Applejack but there was something stopping her. It was a pressure on her cheek small at first but then it began to grow. Her cheek began to sting then a hard pain started to rocket across her face. She screamed as she was suddenly sent flying back.

Iris roared out by the sudden sucker punch to the side of his face by a green fist. The kaiju was sent flying back into the hard stone wall the one who punched him let out their own roar. Godzilla was shocked but also happy to see what was going on. Standing in front him was Gamera fully powered.
The green flames that were shooting out of Iris earlier where dancing around the turtles body and flowing into his mouth. The wounds Gamera suffered earlier began to close up. He had no idea what was inside those flames but they tasted incredible and the power they gave was incredible. Gamera's power had increased and he was ready to release every bit of it on Iris.
Godzilla roared over to his ally. Gamera returned it but looked shocked to see Godzilla's state. His body was skinny and starting shake due to having his energy drained. Godzilla was trying his hardest to play it off but Gamera could tell he was in pain. A ball of plasma built up in the back of his throat.
Before Godzilla could react Gamera fired engulfing his upper body in plasma filled fire. Godzilla began to absorb it into his body like a sponge. His muscles began to build back up, back spines lighting up, his tail beat on the ground cracking the hard rock. Godzilla the king of the monster was back to full strength and letting out a roar that shook the earth.
Iris was starting to rise back to his feet the flames on his body starting to simmer out. He was met with the sight of the Guardian and the King standing in front of him. Both took a fighting stance this fight they were both ready to end this fight. Iris may have a power advantage over them but Godzilla and Gamera both had something else to bring to the battlefield. They both had trust in each other.
"S-S-Searching... for... energy." A robotic voice crackled through the rubble of the destroyed Red Bamboo base. A bright light shone through the cracks. The ground slowly began to shake as the rocks moved around revealing a large oval object underneath. Connected to it was a cracked computer, the screen flickering on and off, a name was revealed on the screen reading Dimension Shifter. A broken mechanical voice spoke out of if, "H-H-High... level... energy... detected." A bright light began to shine from the Dimension Shifter and the mechanical voice spoke again.
"P-P-Preparing for extraction."

Godzilla roared as he charged into Iris with his newly acquired energy. The massive squid kaiju turned to face the rampaging Godzilla and slashed at him with one of his spear like hands. Godzilla reached out and stopped the incoming attack letting out a grunt from the force of the attack. His feet dug trenches into the ground as Iris pressed harder with his attack. A hateful hiss came out of Iris as he raised his free hand ready to slash the monster king down. But it was caught by another scaled hand Iris looked over seeing Gamera holding his other arm.
Gamera had flames pouring out of his maw as atomic energy slipped out of Godzilla's. Both got ready to blast Iris at point blank range but Iris had his own plan. The massive squid began to shine until he disappeared in a flash of light. Before either kaiju could react to Iris's disappearing act the two were both smacked by tentacles. Behind them Iris stood one of his tentacles slamming into the ground breaking the stone. The orb in his skull flashed red as his body shook his anger at these two reptiles. Iris let out a horrifying roar pointing all four tentacles at them each one glowing with power.
Godzilla and Gamera both looked at each other nodding before charging forward. Gamera jumped forward flying forward Godzilla latched onto his back giving himself a speed boost. Iris teleported out of the way reappearing next to them ready to fire a sonic a beam. Gamera began to spin taking Godzilla along for the ride. As Iris prepared to fire Gamera stopped spinning just as Godzilla let go of his shell. He was sent straight at the demonic kaiju. The two kaiju collided and Iris was sent straight into the cave wall shaking the earth. Godzilla roared in Iris's face his back spines flashed.
Iris looked at Godzilla as he prepared to fire. The orb in his skull began to shine as an image began to appear in his sight. Two human females appeared in his head although they barely looked like humans. One of them had long blonde hair, with a stetson hat, and her ears were in the wrong place. The other girl looked even stranger her skin was dark red with black bat like wings sprouting out of her back. She held the blonde haired girl by her neck with a fang filled grin.
With Godzilla distracted Iris took full advantage of the situation slamming a tentacle straight into his stomach. Godzilla was launched into the air with the wind knocked out of him. He landed hard against the ground skidding hard against the wall. Iris rose back up joints popping back in place. He moaned with delight seeing Godzilla painfully rise back up to his feet. There was still pain from the flames that had burned him from the inside. But it was starting to subside Iris let out a delightful hiss aiming a tentacle at Godzilla charging a sonic ray.
But another roar caught his attention as Gamera came rushing to his side. Iris flashed the same image he had to Godzilla. The giant turtle stopped in his tracks as the images assaulted his vision. Gamera instantly recognized the girls. The guardian felt relief come through his body but also rage at the thought of those girls being inside Iris. Relief from seeing those girls alive. But rage as the thought occurred to him that these girls were being used as fuel for Iris. One of them had already been corrupted and the other was starting to fall. He had to save them no matter what. His body began to shake from all the anger he felt at not being fast enough too rescue them. His anger for Iris was growing as he felt flames growing in the back of his throat.
But before he could act the world turned sideways as Gamera was thrust against the ground. The image Iris had cast was replaced by the pained face of Godzilla. He looked over seeing the clean cut in the cave wall along with a ring in the air. Clear signs of a sonic ray going off. Godzilla moaned as he shakily stood back up blood dripping from his side. The monster king snarled as his began the painful process of healing he flashed a glare at Iris. The dark God looked at Godzilla his body language clearly showing that wasn't impressed as Godzilla began to raise his tail. But to his surprise Godzilla's tail smacked across Gamera face. Iris cocked his head in confusion.
Was this reptile trying to pledge loyalty to him in his last moments? How amusing. Iris let out a roar that sounded more like an amused chuckled.
Gamera rubbed his cheek and snarled at Godzilla. Out of all the times this lizard chooses to loose his mind he chose now! Gamera opened his mouth ready to roar but was cut off by Godzilla's own booming roar. Gamera looked at Godzilla shocked at seeing the fiery glare in his eyes. The look Godzilla gave was clear.
Get your head in the game.
Gamera couldn't help but crack a light smile at the thought of Godzilla telling him to get serious. Normally it was the other way around. Godzilla was always the one who acted out in fights ending up causing massive amounts of damage to a city. Gamera was usually the one who had to slap some sense into him. It felt strange being the on the receiving end of a slap. But Godzilla was right he had to get back in shape. If those girls were going to be rescued he'd have to have a clear head.
A wave of hot steam came out of his mouth as Gamera let out the kaiju version of a sigh. He gave a soft nod toward Godzilla who responded with his own. With a little help Gamera rose back to his feet. Godzilla removed his hand from his side revealing his healed wound. They both slapped their tails together and shot a hard stare at Iris.
The two took up fighting stances bracing their legs they began to slowly approach. Godzilla motioned his eyes at Gamera having him move left. Iris watched as the two kaiju attempted to circle him. The regeneration ability was slowly healing him but his power was still low. These two could actually cause him harm if they got a good hit in. More power was required.
Godzilla charged forward with a mighty going straight for Iris with Gamera coming up from behind him. Bracing Iris brought up his arms blocking the hard punch Godzilla delivered. Gamera acted quickly jumping up and grabbing two tentacles poised two strike Godzilla's skull upon landing he pulled causing Iris to stumble straight into the open clawed strike of Godzilla. Iris shrieked out in annoyance as the four clawed hand slashed his face.
As he tried regaining his balance Gamera was next to rush in delivering a hard right hook. Like a championship boxer Gamera delivered several more punches working over Iris. But Iris managed to dodge several blows that were aimed for the glowing orbs on his stomach. Gamera snarled as the attacks missed their intended targets. Godzilla watched the interaction for a moment before years of fighting instinct hit him like a ton of bricks. After fighting other monsters with crazy powers he started to pick up a few things like this.
If something glows it's usually important.
And his thought was proven right as the orbs on Iris's stomach began to glow a bright green before teleporting a few feet away from Gamera. For a brief moment it looked like the dark God was actually showing signs of fatigue before straitening back up into his normal stance. Gamera roared at Iris resisting the urge to throw a mana ball, otherwise he'd kill the humans, being forced to hold back against a powerful foe drove him insane. Godzilla quickly rushed to Gamera's side looking at the turtle then back at Iris more precisely at his stomach. He flashed a reptilian smirk at Gamera seeing that they know had what looked like a weak point.
As Godzilla and Gamera prepared for their next attack Iris was trying to hide his growing fatigue. Something was going wrong inside of him. The power he felt earlier was starting to fade. The image of Godzilla and Gamera started to fade away as he began to look inside himself.

Applejack was trying her hardest to catch her breath as Fallen Light held onto her throat. Despite the scrawny look the demoness had a strong grip. Despite their positions Fallen Light looked worse off than Applejack. Her hair was drooping and she was panting heavily. But she still kept her smile.
"What no clever pun?"
"Kind a hard to work under pressure." Applejack managed to get out with a smile.
"Well the saying is leave them laughing." Fallen Light said with a wicked smiled, "If you won't just stand still and burn like a good little girl. Then this will have to do."
Applejack wheezed as Fallen Light pressed harder on her throat. She was still dazed slightly dazed from the assault. One minute she was dodging fireballs then she suddenly get's rushed by Fallen Light and placed into an iron grip choke hold. "Don't make... Sunset... do this."
Fallen just let out annoyed groaned and pulled Applejack in close to see her black eyes. With her free hand she scraped it across Applejack's stomach. She winced as the demonesses sharp claws scrapped against her. But it didn't stop the farm grill from meeting Fallen Light's glare with her. "That sniveling little unicorn is gone." Fallen said with a snake like hiss.
"Well if that's not the biggest lie I ever heard." Applejack said causing Fallen Light to sneer, "I heard her and I'm pretty sure she'll be right upset with ya when she sees what ya did with her body."
Fallen Light kept up her sneer but could feel fatigue running through her body. She couldn't tell what Iris was doing but it felt like he ran straight into a hurricane. There was a bruise on her left cheek from what felt like something clawing her. Combined with the feeling of someone punching her repeatedly. And too make matters worse she could feel her other half fighting back.
"Go on a head tell me I'm wrong."
"Shut up."
"What's the matter? Afraid of little honesty." Applejack said with a smirk.
Fallen Light began to shake with anger at seeing Applejack's smile,"I said shut up!" She squeezed harder on Applejack's throat causing the farm girl to cry out in pain. "For the last time she's not coming back!" Fallen roared into Applejack's face. She was seething with anger. So much so that she briefly lost focus on keeping Sunset suppressed. Her right eye went from black to it's normal shade of green. Which was causing Applejack to smile threw her pain.
"You wanna bet on that?" Applejack said pointing to Fallen Light's eye. The demoness sucked in her breath covering her right eye as she began to pant. Her body starting to droop as Applejack felt the grasp on her throat begin to loosen. Taking full advantage of the situation Applejack placed her foot against Fallen's chest and kicked away from the demoness allowing her self to land safely against the soft wall. While Applejack took the time to catch her breath Fallen Light let out a blood curdling scream. She clutched her face and chest as her body heaved.
"What's happening to me!?"
Applejack's eyes widened in shock as Fallen Light thrashed around. Her face jerked as if someone just punched her before losing the breath from her lungs from what looked like a gut punch. The dark void that both of them were in shook violently as if an earthquake had just occurred. It was followed by an earsplitting shriek from what felt like all around them.
"More power!"
Fallen screamed in pain as her body had a green glow come off it. Like she was being shocked by a volt of lightning her body began convulsing. Fallen cried again but it instead her raspy voice a familiar cry came out. Applejack's heart skipped a beat when Sunset's eyes replaced Fallen Light's.
"It's to much please stop!" Both Sunset's her demonic half's voices called out.
"MORE POWER!"
Applejack watched as her friend began to thrash around in agony with a wailing scream. Her heart was felt like it was breaking seeing the sight of Sunset in so much pain. Another ear piercing shriek echoed throughout the dark void that held both girls. It followed by another scream from Sunset as she held her arm in pain as what looked like bite marks appeared on it. Her body soon folded forward as she grasping her stomach and she let out a gasp as it looked like the wind was being knocked out of her.
"What in tarnation?"
"They share the same body." The soft voice from before sang in Applejack's head, "And the same pain."
"You already told me that!" Applejack shouted out loud, "But what does it mean and just who the hay are you?!"
"The being who has captured you and made a contract with this girl is being attacked. As a result of this your friend is feeling the affects of the beings pain."

Godzilla had bit down hard on the unprotected part of Iris's right arm. Distracting the dark monster long enough for Gamera to punch him the stomach. He roared out as the punch was hard enough to push him away allowing Godzilla's serrated teeth to work their magic and pull off part of his flesh. Iris hissed out in rage as pink blood oozed out of his arm and a sharp pain was running through his stomach.
Godzilla spit the bloody piece of Iris's arm out his mouth. Cracking his version of a smile that caused Iris to shake with rage. He managed to get Iris to bleed. Gamera kept a firm glare on Iris as he popped his fingers keeping his eyes trained on the glowing orbs that were Iris's stomach.
Two innocent humans were in there because of his mistake. He wasn't going to let them die.
He looked to Godzilla, who wiping Iris's blood off his lips, he roared to him flames dancing in mouth. Godzilla looked back and his spines flashed. Their power was starting to fade fast.
Iris could feel his power getting weaker with each passing moment. No matter how much he tried to take from vessel it still wasn't enough to fuel him. The reptiles were proving to be more of an annoyance than he thought. He was getting the urge to the this fight now.
All three kaiju began shared a cold hard stare with each other. The same thought was running through all three of their heads. This was going to be their final battle.
"E-E-Energy extraction f-f-five minutes and c-c-counting." A garbled computer voice garbled out through the wreckage of the former Red Bamboo Base. A Yellow glow began building up inside the ray of the portal. Electricity was building around the area. An image began to form on the computer of a lizard and a turtle.

Rainbow Dash was running through the forest with girls right behind her. They all heard the massive cries that came from the center of the woods along with the explosions that were generating from the mountains. It didn't take them long to meet up again and start running. Rainbow Dash being the most athletic took was in the lead of them all. Each step she took was leaving the others girls behind. Rarity, the slowest of the group, huffed with each step, "Rainbow Dash darling slow down!"
"Are you kidding me didn't you hear all that?!" Rainbow Dash shouted over her shoulder as she sped up. She tried to sound excited but in truth she was trying to mask her worry.
"And do you plan on investigating alone?!" Rarity asked through her huffing breath. Rainbow Dash sighed before coming to a halt. Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy stopped with her both girls happily taking breaths as they stood in the middle of the woods. Rarity stopped wiping some of the sweat off her brow.
"Come on guys we can't stand here forever!" Rainbow Dash said tapping her foot in impatience.
"Just one more minute please." Fluttershy pleaded as she took in more air for her burning lungs. She looked at Rainbow with worried eyes as she saw how on edge her friend was. She had been trailing behind the girl since the explosions went off.
"Don't worry Dashie I'll be good to go in just a bit." Pinkie Pie said in her normally chipper voice but in truth she was trying to hide how tired she actually was.
"Rainbow why are you so eager to run toward the massive explosions and roars?" Rarity asked.
"Well besides the fact that I'm not a massive wimp." Rainbow Dash looked up at the sky as the sounds of the roaring had died off into the mountains. But when she first heard it she remembered just where a certain pair were. She looked at Pinkie and Rarity, "Have either of you heard from AJ?"
Pinkie Pie and Rarity's eyes widened as they both pulled out their cell phones. "We already tried that." Fluttershy said holding up her phone. On it was a smiling picture of Applejack and next to it read the words recent calls five. "She didn't pick up once."
"Well let's not jump to conclusions." Rarity said trying to keep calm.
"AJ always picks up her phone Rarity." Rainbow Dash said with worry filling her voice, "I didn't even know she had a voice mail until today."
"What about Sunset Shimmer?" Pinkie asked.
"What about her?" Rainbow said looking out into the forest impatiently.
"She was with Applejack didn't you try calling her?" Pinkie Pie asked. Rainbow Dash looked away from the group rubbing her arm.
"When Rainbow Dash didn't hear back from Applejack she took off and told me to keep trying her cell phone. I wasn't even thinking about Sunset." Fluttershy said.
"I didn't put her number in my phone." Rainbow Dash looked at her friends who all looked at her shocked, "What? I still don't trust her."
"Rainbow we promised Twilight that we would help her." Fluttershy said.
"That's easier said than done. She tried to drive all of us apart remember? AJ and I stopped talking because of her! So sorry if I still have some issues!" Rainbow Dash said with a huff. Fluttershy looked at her with sympathetic eyes as she saw how hurt Rainbow was about the subject. Which caused her to wrap Rainbow into a tight hug.
"You and Applejack were friends before us so I understand why you're mad at Sunset." Fluttershy whispered she pulled away to look Rainbow in the eyes, "But I also saw how sorry she was about everything she did. She wants to make up for everything and I want to help her do it. Deep down I know you do to."
Rainbow sighed looking at Fluttershy she broke away from the hug holding out her hand to a confused Fluttershy. "Phone."
Fluttershy smiled handing her phone over. Rarity gave an approving nod. While Pinkie was getting to jump off the ground from the joy she was feeling. "Oh boy! Rainbow Dash and Sunset Shimmer new bffs! I can see it now!" Pinkie shouted, "Oh you two can see movies, go to amusement parks together, or maybe skydiving. What's your suit si-Mmmmph." Before Pinkie could continue talking Rainbow covered her mouth keeping the party planner still before she could go on.
She began scrolling through the list of names in Fluttershy's contact list until finding Sunset's name and number. Rainbow held her finger over Sunset's name for a brief moment. The memories of what Sunset did where still fresh in her mind. With a click of her tongue she brushed off her fears and anger. Can't them let rule over you forever. She dialed up Sunset's number and let the phone ring. She bit her lip in anticipation.
The first ring went by. Nothing to worry about no one ever answers after the first ring.
The second ring went. Just the second ring no need for a heart attack.
Third ring. Maybe she's just looking at the name.
Fourth. Rainbow Dash ran out of words of encouragement as she felt a chill run down her spine.
Fifth and final ring. Rainbow was sweating and begging for Sunset to pick up.
"Hey," Sunset's voice spoke into her ear and Rainbow smiled, "It's Sunset you know what to do." Rainbow's smiled quickly faded as she was met with an automated voice.
"At the tone please leave a message. For more information press-" Rainbow hung up the phone with a long sigh that quickly turned into an angry shout. She held up Fluttershy's phone ready to throw it but froze when her rational came back. She took a calming breath lowering her arm. She tossed Fluttershy her phone back.
"No luck?" Rarity asked. Rainbow just shook her head trying not to let her emotions get to her. But it didn't stop her body from shaking. Rarity put a comforting hand on Rainbow's shoulder. "Let's not assume the worst darling." Pinkie and Fluttershy both nodded in agreement giving her smiles.
"Yeah let's go." Rainbow said leading the others along in a slow jog making sure the others were close behind. On the outside she looked perfectly fine. But on the inside she was battling with herself about the decision to leave her friends behind and search for Applejack on her own.

To say Applejack was surprised would be an understatement. The voice that spoke to her was already freaky enough along with saying she was inside of some creature. But know it was being attacked by something and Sunset felt what it was feeling. Whatever this creature was it must have been desperate as Sunset was screaming as her body was starting to glow. The voice in her head played again it was soft but filled with urgency, "The being who has captured is close to dying. You will be saved soon if the others act quickly just hold out."
Applejack let the words sink into her mind she was being rescued by something and was all for it. But something else was clicking in her mind about the words the voice spoke to her. The creature was dying but it also shared pain with Sunset Shimmer so if were to die, "Then what would happen to Sunset?" she whispered.
"She will parish with this creature." The voice spoke. Applejack's eyes widened in shock at the words spoken. Her blood ran cold as she looked at the demonic girl in front of her. Fallen Light was screaming as half of her face took the form of Sunset contorting in pain. Applejack couldn't help but feel pity for her. "Do you truly wish to save this girl after what happened between her and your friends? After everything she has done to you?" The voice asked softly, "Be honest with your answer."
Applejack thought about what was said to her. Why was she trying so hard to help Sunset? Sunset was the reason she nearly lost all of her friends. She bullied her younger sister. Made her a laughing stock in front of the entire school on more than one occasion. So why was she saving her? Bellow her a massive eye opened.
Unbeknownst to the farm girl her memories were playing out behind her in full view of Sunset. The demon half of her face just smiled while her normal half just held a deep frown. "You all really do hate me." Sunset spoke with Fallen Light creeping in under her throat. The darker red tone of Fallen Light began creeping onto the normal half of Sunset's face. The power that was engulfing her was starting to fade. As Fallen Light started rising back taking deep breaths as the pain in her body started to disappear.

Gamera moved fast to avoid a sonic ray that split the ground in half. He snarled looking at Iris, who was rising back up. His body was starting to get an eerie green glow. A green light appeared in his tentacles. As stones started to lift off the ground Iris let out a high pitched roar.
Godzilla narrowed his eyes and began side stepping Iris as he could sense something off about him. Just a moment ago they had Iris in the corner and it looked like they were close to beating him. But know Iris looked less desperate and more calm like before. He was standing proud again like a God looking down on his worshipers.
Iris could feel it his power was returning. The humans he captured were working in his favor. Their hate was starting to grow inside of him. Not only could feel the power of Fallen Light coursing through him but also that of Applejack as well. He felt his muscles building up.
Godzilla cracked his fingers ready for whatever Iris had planned. Yet he was still caught off guard when an arrow tipped tentacle sprung at him. It sliced deep into his shoulder causing him to roar in pain. It would have fully gone through if he hadn't grabbed it in time. The king of monster dropped to a knee trying to keep Iris in place while Gamera charged a mana ball in his mouth.
With little effort Iris took Godzilla off the ground and through him into Gamera. Blood flew from Godzilla's shoulder staining the ground. Gamera's eyes widen as Godzilla slammed into him. Both monsters were dazed from the attack just as Iris charged them. His spear tip hit Godzilla in the chest while stepping on Gamera. Using the guardian as a spring board the mutant took Godzilla into the wall pinning him.
Iris looked at Godzilla blankly as he held him against the cavern wall. He screamed out in pain as Iris pressed deeper into his chest. He could feel the tip of Iris's spear pressing against his sternum. But despite all of the pain coursing through body he still managed to snarl at the demon in front of him. Iris just looked at Godzilla the piercing orb of light gazing into his eyes. His back spines sparked as he tried to fire atomic breath on Iris but the nuclear flames died in his throat. As Iris's arm started to glow.
Gamera shook off his pain he watched Iris start to drain Godzilla. He snarled and quickly fired a ball of mana. But it was blocked when Iris did the same. The two attacks collided into each other creating a cloud of smoke. Gamera could only think about rescuing Godzilla as he fired another blast. But Iris just copied him again blocking the attacks. As the smoke cleared two of Iris's tentacles hung in the air like cobra's poised ready to strike.
Iris looked at Gamera from over his shoulder. He had the Guardian right where he wanted him. His other two tentacles were poised on each side of Godzilla's head. Atoms began gathering together in the tips of each tentacle. Godzilla may be able to withstand most radiation based attacks but even he couldn't withstand a full force attack this close. If Gamera saw his friend die in front of him it would break him. The thought brought joy to the dark kaiju.
Godzilla tried using all of his strength to push Iris away but each time he tried Iris just down harder with his new found strength. Gamera was being kept at bay by the tentacles as they fired a variety of beam attacks each time he tried to come close. All the massive turtle could do was watch the scene play out with desperate eyes. Godzilla was desperate as well but not for his own life. He was more concerned about Gamera fighting this creature alone. Iris is the strongest monster he's ever fought and leaving another alone to fight him while all he did was just die. The thought brought nothing but shame and rage into his mind. He has to live. No he has to win.

Fallen Light was cackling as she cracked her neck and flexed her fingers. Sunset Shimmer was starting to fade back into her subconscious. Her red skin was almost done covering her face the only part that remained Sunset's normal skin color was her right eye that was close to tears as they looked at Applejack. Her memories were still playing in front of them and she saw everything that she had done to Applejack and the others. How could they forgive her what she did?
"It's hard to face the truth isn't it?" Fallen Light spoke to her better half. Her right eye tried to close but Fallen Light forced it open. "No you look at it. This is what I've been telling you! They hate you everyone does!" More of Applejack's memories played in front of her. One of Sunset laughing at her as she spilled some of her cider. Applejack was grinding her teeth as she walked away and was forced to clean up her mess. The next was of more recent events as Fallen Light stood in front of Princess Twilight ready to destroy her.
"Looks like miss honesty had a few secrets." Fallen Light watched as familiar light came across Applejack she cracked a grin, "And it looks like Iris thinks so to."
"More hatred. More power." A deep voice spoke that seemed like it was all around them. A small tendril wrapped itself around Applejack's neck.
"Drain her dry and we get some extra muscle. Good thinking Iris." Fallen Light said with a grin as she looked at farm girl who was surprisingly stoic throughout everything that was happening. Fallen just grinned as she flew into Applejack's face that was looking down. She lifted up her chin to look the girl in the eye her sharp teeth grinned. Applejack looked at her more specifically the last part of her that was Sunset Shimmer. A tear was falling from the right half of her face. Fallen Light just kept up the smile leaning closer to Applejack, "You know the best liars always tell the truth."
Applejack looked at the demoness with no emotion. All she did was stare at the right half of Sunset's face as more of Fallen started to corrupt her. She took a small breath sighing out of her nose and cracked a grin right back at Fallen. "Yep."
"I'm so sorry." Fallen Light looked up in surprise as she heard Sunset's voice. She saw her batter half in tears standing in a crater. Fallen was about to lunge but Applejack wrapped her in a tight bear hug. She screamed trying to break out but Applejack held on tight. "I'm so sorry." The memory played again.
"I knew you were telling the truth the minute you apologized Sunset." Applejack said, "I don't hate you Sunset. I want to help you be a better person. I want to be your friend." The right half of her face was starting to take over again. Fallen Light screamed shaking her head.
"Let go!" Fallen Light screamed flapping her wings and hitting Applejack in the back. She grunted taking the blow but kept holding on to her.
"Sunset Shimmer is my friend and she is worth saving!" Applejack shouted. She felt a warm sensation go through her head like a wind chime. She smiled at the warm thought going through head. She moved her hand up the demons back around the back of her neck. She felt something off around her neck it was slimy and pulsing. "So that's how you two are connected."
Fallen Light's eyes widened in shock as the thought hit her, "You used yourself as bait?!"
"Yep." Applejack said with wink as she pulled on the tendril wrapped around her neck, "Now let's get ya back Sunset."
"NO!" Fallen Light screamed along with something else. Applejack felt a shock in her neck causing her to loosen her grip. A low growl echoed around her, "We won't let you take her!"
Applejack's memory of Sunset apologizing faded and was replaced by a new world she didn't recognize. The place looked fancy like some place royalty might live. Rarity would have a field day in this place. "No not again!" Applejack's widened in shock as she heard Sunset Shimmer's pleading voice. She then felt the wind get knocked out of her as Fallen elbowed her in the gut before knocking Applejack away. She skid across the purple carpet that had formed under them. Applejack was both grunting and coughing as she shook the blow off. She looked at Fallen Light who snarled looking at the right half of her face as a mirror appeared.
"Yes again! I'll keep reminding you if that's what it takes!" Fallen Light shouted just as the sound clipping echoed in the newly formed hallway. Applejack quickly recognized the sound as that of hoofs on a hard surface. She looked up in time to see a yellow furred pony with a fiery mane came running past both of them. Applejack's eyes grew wide as she recognized just who the pony resembled.
"Sunset?"
"Be quiet." Fallen hissed just as a shock ran through Applejack's neck from the tendril wrapped around it. She grunted falling to a knee. She looked at Fallen Light with a glare but the demon was more focused on the pony. Applejack watched the situation as well as Sunset's pony form was looking down a corridor with a wide smile. It was pretty rare to see Sunset, even if she wasn't technically human, smiling so genuinely. Any other time she smiled it was with a cocky grin that was meant to look down on others. This smile was actually sincere like she was actually happy as stress began to leave her body. Sunset was for once happy. But the smile didn't last long as her eyes widened and watered.
"Remember this feeling Sunset." Fallen Light hissed to her better half, "This feeling of being abandoned by someone who cared about you."
Applejack raised a brow at what was being said by the demon. She walked over to the pony to see what was going on peering over the pony's shoulder. Her eyes widened in shock at the sight. Standing in front of her was one of the largest ponies she'd ever scene with a long white horn and massive wings. Her rainbow like mane and tail flowed with a great beauty that also displayed her regality. "So beautiful." were the only words that Applejack could muster. She also saw another pony with purple fur and horn. The color of her mane looked very familiar and it only took a second for Applejack to realize that it was her new friend, "Twilight!"
When she looked at the taller pony again she soon recognized it to be her principal. It felt strange seeing them like this she couldn't help but smile at how funny they looked as animals. But then she heard the sound of what she thought was rain. But when she looked down it was then she noticed it was tears following from Sunset the pony. She was backing away slowly shaking her head and breathing heavily.
"Please stop it." A pitiful whimper came from behind her and she saw that Fallen Light had tears falling from the right side of her face. The demon just sneered wiping the tears from her eye. "No you need to remember! Remember how she abandoned us! That's why you created me! I'm the one who'll always be by your side! I'm the one who'll never leave you!"
"I get it now." Applejack said looking at Fallen Light who just sneered at her.
"Get what?!"
"All this talk about you being hatred incarnated or whatever that was all just a bluff."
Fallen Light's eye quickly widened along with Sunset's normal eye.
"You're not her anger." Applejack said getting Fallen Light to clench her fist. "Your her fear." Applejack looked at Fallen Light then down to the small pony as she continued to shed tears. She put a gentle hand her head rustling the pony's mane causing her to look up at her. "Let me guess when you saw this you thought you were all alone didn't you."
Fallen Light felt more tears falling down her right eye. But what shocked her more was that Sunset was starting to take over more of her body. Her red skin was fading as she held out a hand toward Applejack. "She was my only friend and I thought she replaced me."
"Did she or did you just leave before actually talking to Celestia?" Applejack asked as she continued stroking Sunset's mane. To her shock Fallen Light felt the strange sensation of someone rubbing her head. Which also caused more of Sunset to take over her body.
"Shut up!" Fallen Light shouted trying to stop Sunset from coming out.
"I wasn't talking to you." Applejack said.
"I ran away without saying anything." Sunset spoke through Fallen Light, "I was just so upset and scared that everyone forgot about me like I was nothing. That I didn't even bother trying to talk to her."
"Well while Twilight was here she always talked about Celestia pretty highly. Also Twilight said something else when Celestia sent her here." Applejack rubbed the unicorn's face wiping away tear, "She said that Celestia felt like she failed you."
"She said that?" Sunset said with whisper as she began to take over more of her body. Fallen Light however started growling along with something else the memory faded leaving the pony form of Sunset to be ripped away from Applejack. The farm girl watched as the unicorn tried desperately to reach out to her only to disappear like mist. The memory was soon replaced by a glowing red eye. "Stop talking and die all ready!"
"Be Gone!" A deep voice spoke around them. The tendril on Applejack's neck began squeezing her neck and her body was shocked. Fallen Light smiled as Applejack began screaming her legs flailing. The Sunset half of her was watching on in horror. But despite all of the pain she was Applejack she still looked at Sunset with hard eyes.
"Sunset you don't have to be afraid anymore! Celestia didn't leave you she misses you! I miss you so please come back!" Applejack shouted holding out her hand. ________________________
Godzilla roared in Iris's face as he fought against the god. Iris wasn't giving in either as he pressed down harder on Godzilla pushing his spear tip deeper into his chest. Blood was pouring from his wound. Iris's copy atomic breath was almost done charging. The only thing running through his head was the thought of winning. Not only for Gamera but for all who would be threatened by Iris if he were to fall. Mothra, Rodan, Anguirus, the other kaiju on Sollgel, Miki, and his mother. He can't die knowing that he left them all alone in world where Iris still existed.
Godzilla snarled at that thought. Can't lose. He pressed down harder on Iris's arm. Can't lose. His eyes started to glow.
CAN'T LOSE!

Sunset watched Applejack desperately struggle in a vain attempt to escape but the more she struggled the tighter the tendril got. The dark half of her laughed at the scene. She could feel Applejack's energy flowing into her body and her muscle mass started to increase. "Now this is what I call a workout!" Fallen Light chuckled looking at Applejack as she struggled to breath. The farm girl was starting to also lose weight as well.
A roar soon caught the demoness's ears she looked up at the massive eye that hung above them. It showed an image of a draconic creature staring at them. It's eyes had an ethereal blue glow as it snarled. In it's chest was spear tip that it was trying to pull out. "So you want to fight to?" Fallen Light sneered, "Doesn't matter I can feel your power slipping as well."
Sunset watched the creature as well then looked at Applejack as she struggled. In some strange way she saw a similarity in both of them. Neither wanted to lose this fight as they clearly had something to defend. For Applejack it was saving her and she felt deep down that this creature was trying to save them both and possibly everything else Iris threatened.
Fallen Light was laughing at everything that was happening around her. She looked at Applejack's suffering with a satisfied grin and this new creature's struggles as icing on this victory cake. She was starting to feel both their energies mixing into her body. Her power was growing stronger, "This world will be mine!" she shouted with a fang filled grin. But as soon as she felt her body get stronger the energy was suddenly cut off.
But something felt off she felt stronger but her body didn't feel right. It was like something was changing her body. She felt strange. Then she gasped as her body started moving without her consent. Her right arm stretched out with green flames arching along them. Sunset's skin was turning back to normal getting Fallen Light to snarl, "What are you doing?!" Trying to look at the right half of her face.
"Ending this!" Sunset's voice over took Fallen Light's. The demon struggled trying to bring down her hand but she stopped moving entirely.
"Sunset stop!"
"No! I'm not you!"
"How can you trust them?! They'll betray you like everyone else!"
"I'm not letting the past rule over me any more!" Sunset shouted using Fallen Light's energy she shot a fire ball into the tendril holding Applejack. She gasped being released and looked at Sunset as more of herself started to take over. The demonic part of her struggled trying to keep Sunset down. But she pressed through it grabbing the tendril that was wrapped around her. "My past does not define me!" She shouted ripping the tendril off. Fallen Light shrieked as her red skin started to disappear. Her eye waving frantically as her wings started to crumble.
"Sunset please don't!" Fallen Light begged as more of Sunset took over for the first time a tear dropped from the demon, "I need you." Her voice faded as Sunset finally took control over her body again.
"But I don't need you." Sunset said with a huff before looking at Applejack with a smile.
"I knew you could do it." Applejack said.
"I had a little help." Sunset said holding out her hand to Applejack.
Suddenly a massive roar echoed from all around the two girls as the massive eye behind them contracted with pain. It suddenly was ripped apart causing both girls to shield their eyes blind light that surrounded both of them. Applejack looked at Sunset with worry as she reached out Sunset did the same.
"Sunset!"
"AJ!"

Just a few seconds earlier Godzilla was wrestling with Iris. The demon kept up the pressure as more strength was being added to him. Iris could feel Godzilla's strength coursing through him once again. This was shown with the extra power of the atomic energy building up in his tentacles. So confident in his victory Iris didn't realize that he was making the same mistake that led to his first death. Iris may have Godzilla's energy but he had no true understanding of it. Not like the king.
Godzilla had years of practice controlling radiation how to manipulate it, how to release, and how to siphon it. It was something his father had used when facing a foe that he'd rather not think about. Then something he did subconsciously when on the verge of death. It wasn't an easy technique to use and he still struggled with it. But not he had a reason to use it and a clear goal. Win.
That's what's he focused on. Wining.
The energy stealing Iris was fond of began to stop. This was his energy and could just as easily take it back along with the atomic breath building up around him. It all began flowing back into Godzilla. The blue glow in his eyes began to shine brighter and Godzilla let out a mighty roar. Much to Iris's shock.
He tried firing at Godzilla but all of the energy building up inside of his tentacles but they stopped cold. He pressed down harder trying to pierce Godzilla's heart but all of the strength he felt previously had faded. His energy was getting lower by the second while Godzilla's power only grew. He suddenly felt heat building up inside his stomach. His host was attacking up again but this time he couldn't deal with it as pain shot through his arm.
Godzilla snarled and ripped Iris's arm out of chest with a pained roar as blood sprayed from his wound. But he ignored the pain of it healing as he looked at the glowing orbs on Iris's stomach. There was something telling him that the time to strike was now. He clenched his fist letting energy flow into his free hand. He held onto Iris pulling on his arm bring him close for a fully powered upper cut straight into his stomach.
A pained shriek ripped out of Iris as Godzilla's fist ripped through his stomach. Pink blood poured out of the wound as Godzilla reached deeper into Iris. That's when felt something inside the dark kaiju he tightened his grip around it. With a quick pull he ripped his arm out of Iris's stomach letting pink blood gush onto the cavern floor. Iris roared in pain backing away trying to keep his organs inside of him. The dizzying pain going through all of Iris's body he didn't notice when Gamera pulled on his tentacles sending the kaiju into a wall.
The Guardian of the Universe snarled and rushed Iris punching him in the face. Iris tried to swing back but his movements were slower from the pain. Gamera took advantage of it by slashing at Iris keeping him in the wall. He let everything out on Iris all of his anger and pain that this creature had put him through. Iris roared back wrapping a tentacle around Gamera's neck throwing him away. The turtle skid along the ground but was stopped by Godzilla. He grunted as rising back up to his feet.
Godzilla held out his hand showing it to Gamera who was shocked to find that two of his fingers were bent down as some of his blood was mixed with Iris's along with the sound of sickening snaps. Not only had Godzilla broken his hand just to land a lethal blow on Iris but in his palm sat the humans that were captured by Iris. Both of them were out of it with scratches around their bodies but they still appeared to be alright.
The guardian nodded toward the king with a grunt showing his gratitude. Godzilla just snorted blowing blue smoke from his nostrils hitting Gamera in the face. Casting what could best be described as the kaiju version of a smile. Gamera snarled at his friend rolling his eyes. But before they could go on a shrill cry got their attention.
Iris rose back up the orb in the center of his skull had turned blood red. He was shaking with rage at as all four tentacles poised around him. The hole that was punched into his stomach was slowly starting to close. Both kaiju snarled at Iris who hissed at them. Power began building up in his tentacles as he shot beams from all four forming into a ball of power. A combination of mana, sonic cutters, and atomic breath began forming. He looked at Godzilla and Gamera even without actual facial features they could tell it was full of pure malice.
Godzilla began building up energy in back spines as flames licked in across his lips. Gamera had fire building up in the back of his throat. Neither of them made a sound as they stood side by side. Godzilla covered the girls to block them from heat building up.
Iris roared and fired the ball of collected energy at both Godzilla and Gamera. Gamera threw his head back then spat out the largest ball of fire he could muster. Godzilla puffed out his chest taking in all the energy before ripping his jaws and firing his atomic breath with everything he had left. Godzilla's atomic breath collided with Gamera's mana ball fusing into one and slammed into Iris's attack. Both were caught in a stalemate as the energies pushed into each other. Iris pumped more power into his attack pushing it forward.
Godzilla was close to being pushed back by the attack as his feet carved trenches into the ground. He kept pumping power into his breath. Gamera held on allowing his power to flow with Godzilla's. Both of them focusing on the victory to the point that they soon began focusing on their powers which started to grow. Gamera had a yellow aura building around him while Godzilla's spikes flashed red briefly. Gamera's eyes started to glow. He looked at Iris with a snarl. It was time to erase this evil once and for all. More fire built up in mouth and he fired an even larger ball of mana this one glowing with golden flames.
Godzilla let the memories of all the good times he had with those he cared about flow through his head. He would protect them no matter what. He roared pushing more power into his atomic breath and for brief moment his blue beam that he was famous for flashed blood red. The golden ball of fire and the red atomic breath fused together like before. This time it cut through Iris's attack mush to his surprise. His tentacles burned as the heat from the two attacks atomized them. Iris roared out in pain as the colliding attacks hit the hole in his stomach burning his blood to ash.
Iris felt the life force leave his body as the beams came out of his armored back. The breath attacks cut off leaving Godzilla and Gamera panting from the effort of the attacks. Iris dropped to his knees as the orb in his skull started to fade away. The last sensation he felt was pure hatred for the two creatures standing in front of him. With that he dropped to the ground one final his escaped out of him before going silent.
Godzilla and Gamera looked at Iris as he stopped moving. They looked at each other briefly then back to Iris as his body started to dissolve. The Dark God Iris was finally dead. They reared back their heads letting out roars of victory. A soft wind chime like voice blew through both of their heads, "Congratulations two both of you but shouldn't you two focus on those girls." the voice said with a light giggle.
Godzilla looked down to his broken hand checking on the girls he had saved. To his surprise they were both still out cold. Heavy sleepers. He cocked his curiously sniffing them but Gamera swatted his head. He snarled at the turtle while Gamera just rolled his eyes. He held out his had taking both of them from Godzilla. He recalled where he saw them as his legs retracted inside his body being replaced by azure flames.
Gamera flew off from the cavern they were in leaving Godzilla alone. The king of the monster dropped to the ground taking a breath as the world started to go black. Everything was finally over and he could finally relax for once. He felt the pain in his hand start to disappear as it began to heal itself. Each breath he took was one of bliss as he drifted off into sleep. Completely unaware of the lights surrounding his body and in a flash Godzilla was gone.

Gamera landed in front of the lake taking a calming breath as he let the stress leave his body. He looked down at the girls in his palm and gently put them under a tree with surprising tenderness for something his size. He suddenly felt his hazy as the world around him started to spin. He looked down at his hands and his eyes widened as they started to disappear. He looked at the rest of his body noticing that it was fade away like it was caught in breeze. His mind was racing with thoughts but all he could do was let out a low tired roar as he was to tired to do anything. Soon his entire body faded away just as Applejack slowly opened her eyes. All she saw was just a quick spark light causing her to raise a brow.
She also felt something against her back she looked up noticing that she was sitting under a tree. She felt incredibly weak for some reason but had no memory. She then heard a soft breath next to her and noticed that Sunset was leaning her head on her shoulder. The girl had her eyes closed and was softly breathing. She smiled her and leaned back against the tree closing her eyes. She didn't know what happened but her body was begging for rest. Unfortunately it didn't last long when a loud voice broke from the trees, "AJ!"
Applejack's eyes snapped open as she saw Rainbow Dash running right for her. Behind her were Pinkie, Rarity, and Fluttershy. Sunset moaned opening her eyes and rubbing her head, "Can't a girl get some sleep?" As her vision became clear she suddenly noticed that she was staring right at Applejack, who smiled at her. Sunset moved away with slight blush on her face. "S-S-Sorry!" She stammered out getting a laugh from Applejack.
"Don't worry about it." Applejack said with a smile just as Rainbow Dash rushed over to both of them looking at Applejack as she noticed that her shirt was ripped and there were scratch marks on her.
"AJ what happened?" Rainbow Dash said with worry in her voice before turning with an angry glare at Sunset, "Did you do this?"
Before Sunset could answer Applejack cleared her throat, "Don't go accusing her of nothing Rainbow. I can't remember what happened." Applejack scratched her head trying to remember a portion of her life.
"I don't know what happened either," Sunset scratched her head in a vain attempt to jog her memory. But it was to no avail. Judging from the marks on Applejack something big must have happened. But she also felt this warm feeling when she looked at Applejack, "But I think you saved me again Applejack."
"Hey I thought told to call me AJ." Applejack said smiling at Sunset who smiled back at her. Rainbow looked at both of them confused out of her mind and slightly annoyed about being left out.
"So you guys don't even remember hearing all of the explosions?" Rainbow asked just getting shaking heads from both of them. The others soon made it and began looking over Applejack and Sunset Rarity looked like she was close to having heart attack when she saw Applejack's ripped clothes. But soon her mind started to race about new clothing ideas that would work on Applejack getting an annoyed sigh from the farm girl. Pinkie giddy at seeing that everyone was okay and began trying to talk the girls into having a celebration party. Fluttershy was skittishly looking around mumbling if there really was a monster around that attacked the girls especially after they heard a roar moments before arriving.
Rainbow looked around to her surprise despite all the sounds of explosions that they heard there were no signs of a struggle anywhere. Even the growl she was so sure she heard it appeared as though nothing had made it. She sighed not wanting to focus anymore on that topic but more on the two injured people in front of her. "Let's just get out of here before anything else happens. Besides it's starting to get late anyways." She said putting one of Applejack's arms around her shoulder and assisting her to stand. Sunset tried to stand on her own but her legs felt like jelly . So it surprised her when Fluttershy wrapped an arm around her and helped her up.
The walk back to Applejack's van was long and left the girls panting as. As Rarity, Pinkie, and Fluttershy helped Sunset get into the back Applejack and Rainbow Dash got into a small argument about who would drive back. Rainbow insisted due to how tired Applejack was. But Applejack waved a dismissive hand trying to show that she was fine. As this went on Sunset watched the girls talk to each other and interact. She felt a strange twinge in her chest it was warm and to her surprise she liked it not wanting it to end. She smiled as her cheeks felt warm and wet. Fluttershy looked at her with concern, "Sunset are you ok?"
She touched her cheek pulling her hand away and noticed that there where tears running down her face. The others soon noticed that Sunset was crying as well and looked at her all asking if she was alright. Sunset began sniffling as emotions began building up inside of her. More tears rained down from eyes as she spoke, "Guys I'm so sorry about everything I've done to all of you. I was terrible and did so much to separate all of you." Sunset was about to go on but a hug from Applejack cut her off.
She stroked her back gently with a smile, "Sunset I forgave the first night you apologized." Sunset sniffled holding back more tears as she looked at the girls. They smiled at her nodding in agreement except for Rainbow Dash who looked at her with a stern face and crossed arms.
"You really did screw around with us and nearly tore my best friend away." Rainbow said getting a look of disapproval from the others that she ignored, "But I hate leaving people alone when they need help and you sister look like you need some serious help. So I guess we can hang out more but on two conditions."
"Anything." Sunset said.
"One never pull that demon mind control thing again." Rainbow said getting a nod from Sunset she then cleared her throat as her cheeks slightly flushed, "And two... could you maybe be my tutor?" She asked sheepishly rubbing her arm with a red face.
"Huh?" Were the only words Sunset could get out as she was expecting something else to come from the rainbow haired girl.
Rainbow just grumbled as the others soon began giving the same blank and confused stares. She sighed annoyed, "Look I'm the best athlete in all of Canterlot High but I kind of stink at others subjects," Rainbow rubbed her cheek looking at Sunset, "So I figure since I'm helping you become a better person maybe you could help me get a B in science class. Since you know your the smartest girl in the school."
The girls looked at her surprised at what she just asked. An awkward silence flew by as they all just kept looking at Rainbow whose face was starting to get redder by the minute. But it was soon broken when Pinkie started to laugh getting a growl from Rainbow, "Sorry Dashie but I just thought we may not have found a monster but we did see something rare."
"And what would that be?"
"You asking an 'Egg Head' for help." Rarity said joining in on the snickers. Fluttershy got it to as she started to laugh with Applejack. Sunset looked at the girls and couldn't help but smile. The feeling in her chest growing warmer and spreading throughout her body. She started to recall what it was. It had been so long that she nearly forgot what it was.
The warmth of friendship.

Gamera shook his head as his vision started to clear up. He felt something cold under him water was brushing against his leg. He looked back noticing that he was on a beach. As he scanned around he saw familiar sights like the building he destroyed that held Iris. He was back on the island. It looked as though nothing had changed. Except for the massive hulking body lying in front of him. His eyes widened when he saw that it was Iris. Gamera got ready but soon noticed that the beast was completely still. He looked over the body more noticing that there was a massive hole in his back.
There another noise that caught his attention. Gamera turned seeing that Godzilla was on the ground taking slow breaths. It was a rare sight to see but Godzilla looked peaceful. He lied stretched across the beach letting the water brush against his scales. He was out cold. Gamera walked over to the king sitting next to him hovering over his body like a parent protecting it's child. The battle had taken it's toll on both of them but Gamera was at least going to watch over Godzilla in case any stray threat would wish to attack him in his sleep.
That and he couldn't stop wondering had all that been a dream. Did they defeat Iris in their first meeting and just pass out from the explosion? Thinking about it only gave him a headache.
"Thank you." A soft voice played in his head.
Gamera looked around seeing that no one was there. A low grunt caught his attention as he saw Godzilla looking at him with half open eyes. He rose his head up in confusion trying to find the voice that spoke but to no avail.
Had that all been a dream? Was what both kaiju were left wondering.

In another plain of existence a tall figure stood on four legs. A crown sat atop it's horns with rainbow hued gems embedded inside of it. The figure cast a small smile looking at the giants before her as she wagged her tail with joy. Her horn glowed bright closing off the window to the world of kaiju. "That's two more heroes created." Her soft voice spoke just as she opened another portal to a world she loved watching over. In front of her was purple pony trying to adjust to wings only for her to fall flat on her face.
"Time for another to rise up." She said for the corner of her eye she noticed black spiky tendrils crawling toward her, "I was wondering how long it would take you plunder seeds grow up."
She hardened her eyes looking at the purple alicorn once again, "Okay Twilight Sparkle your journey starts now."

Sunset walked through the gaping hole that was the Canterlot High main entrance. The only thing casting light was the moon and her cell phone. She asked to come alone as this was something she had to confront. So the others waited in the van with the impression that Sunset had just forgotten something in her locker. Which was only a half truth as she had left something in her locker it was just something that the girls didn't need to know about yet. Sunset walked along the halls passing by each locker. Until she finally came upon her own. She sighed opening it revealing the clutter of papers inside.
This was on purpose as she was using this as way to hide what was inside her locker. She moved around the papers fishing out a note book that had a sun on the front cover. "I wonder she still has her book." Sunset said opening the book revealing countless notes that all began with 'Dear Princess Celestia' She looked around finding a blank page on the book. She searched for a pen and held it over the paper. She took a deep breath trying to think of the right words to say. But her hand moved on it's own.
"Princess I'm sorry for running and I wish I could go back in time and stop myself. I regret everything I did but I'm trying to get better. Hopefully I'll be a student you can be proud of one day."
Sunset stopped writing as the words glowed bright before it became one with the paper. With that she closed the book not expecting something to happen. She placed the book back in her locker getting ready to find something to bring back to the girls. But to her surprise there was a buzzing sound from the locker. She looked up noticing that her book was glowing. She opened it with wide eyes at seeing the glowing words on the paper.
"I'll always be proud of you Sunset."
She looked at the words on the paper and her body shook. The first words she had her from first real friend and they weren't malice like she had though. They were words of praise. Tears feel onto the paper staining the page.
"Hey Sunset you back here?" Applejack called. Sunset quickly wiped hers eyes turning around to see Applejack coming her way, "You find whatever you were looking for?"
"Um yeah just give me a minute." Sunset called out putting her note book away. Applejack looked at her curiously noticing that her eyes were red.
"Hey were you crying again?" Applejack asked.
"Oh uh something just got in my eyes." Sunset said wiping her eyes.
Applejack cocked an eyebrow but put a comforting hand on Sunset's shoulder. She smiled looking Sunset in the eye, "You know may not remember what happened back in the forest but I can't help feeling like I heard some one whisper something to me."
"What they say?"
"That I should help you."
Sunset smiled at Applejack as she grabbed a text book from her longer while also hiding her notebook at the same time. "Thanks AJ. Now you think you could teach me Rainbow Dash?"
"I'd rather help you rebuild the school." Applejack groaned playfully as she wrapped an arm around Sunset. Both girls walked out of the school giggling as their friendship slowly started to grow.
