Book One in The Rainb0w Mythos

Rainbow Dash hasn't been sleeping well, in fact, she hasn't been sleeping well for the better half of a month now.  Tossing and turning at night, sleeping past her alarms, and often waking up exhausted, confused, and with her hooves outstretched as if to reach out for somepony. Thinking she's maybe just exercising too hard she tries to take it easy on herself, that is until a series of unpredictable nightmares bring Rainbow Dash back to a place long forgotten by Equestrian history.

Inspired by the music of Cult of Luna, A Pale Horse Named Death, and the author's own dreams; This is a story about the things we believe in, the things swept away by the passage of time, and the things left behind that are still there waiting for you.

Twilight was in her library when she trips and falls, hitting the self. All the books fell on her and hit her head. She can't remember anything now. Now she tries to remember everything with the help of some ponies that clam to be her friends. Will her memory come back? Or will she have to live without remembering anything for good?

The Accursed Alicorn Amulet. An item of great power, capable of giving any pony wearing it the power reserved only for alicorns. The power of a god among mortals. All of that, only at one price; your sanity.

Not an easy decision, isn't it? Sure, a mind is something precious and all that, but the temptation of having such a power can be too much for certain ponies. It was too much for Trixie, and she fell for it. It's a good thing that Twilight Sparkle managed to save her from a life of insanity.

But, what would happen if Trixie's sanity wasn't the only price to pay? What else could the Amulet take from Trixie?

Three hundred years ago, Equestria tried to assimilate Earth.
They failed. They fled, rather than face justice.
We moved on. We conquered the stars, we made a civilization that spans across the infinite void. We built true harmony between species.
We thought we'd seen the last of Celestia, but as a desperate mobile colony on the fringes of known space came to discover, we were wrong.

It is time to finish what was started by our forefathers.

After Discord was once again, turned to stone. He leaves a finale message to his daughter, asking her to go into hiding until he is able to free himself. One year later. Screwball hears rumors, that a certain Pegasus, has corrupted her father with her beliefs in harmony. Now, Screwball must take her revenge on the ponies herself. Now to stop her, the Mane six must delve into the past's of both father and daughter.

Author's Note: This story was written before The Cutie Mark Chronicles revealed Pinkie Pie's origin story, so now it conflicts with canon. Seriously, who saw 'Amish Rock Farm' coming?
