Twilight was in her library studying like always. Spike walked down to where Twilight was. "How much longer are you going to keep reading Twilight?" Twilight looked away from the book and down at Spike. "Soon, I promise it's just that I want to make sure I'm a good princess and I want to know as much as I can." Twilight explained.
Spike looked at Twilight. "It's not going to kill you if you take a break." Twilight looked back at her book. "Alright." Twilight was walking over to the shelf to put away the book but tripped on the rug. Twilight hit the shelf, making all the books fall on her head. "Twilight!" Spike ran over to the pile of books.
Twilight got out of the pile and started to rub her head. "Wow, my head really hurts." Twilight said looking at the pile of books. "At least your ok." Said Spike letting out a sigh of relief. Twilight looked around the library and then turned to Spike. "Where am I?" She asked.
Spike looked at Twilight hoping it was a joke but she just stood there serious. "Twilight, we're in the library." Twilight looked at Spike with a confused face. "Twilight? Who's Twilight?" When Twilight asked that Spike almost fainted. "Can you wait right here for a minute?" Spike asked. Twilight nodded and Spike ran out the door.
"That dragon is weird." Twilight said to herself. She walked over to a shelf and saw a crown. She picked it up and walked to the mirror. When she put on the crown on her head and looked at herself, she felt something familiar but didn't know what. Then she noticed something else. She had wings. She started to flap them and started to fly. "This is so cool." She cheered while flying around the room.
Then, suddenly Twilight herd the door to start to open. She quickly landed and took off the crown hiding it behind her back. She sees the dragon come in with five other ponies. "Who are they?" Twilight asked pointing at her friends. Spike walked in front of her friends. "These are your friends PinkiePie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Rarity." Spike said. Twilight looked at the five who had worried faces.
"So who are you?" Asked Twilight to Spike remembering that he never introduced himself. "I'm Spike. You hatched me from an egg. I'm also your #1 assistant and your closed friend. Your like a big sister to me." Spike said a little sad that she didn't remember him. Twilight felt a little sad about it too.
Rarity walked up to Twilight. "So how are you ok Twilight?" She asked. "Why do you all keep saying that? Am I Twilight?" Twilight looked at Rarity. "Yes, Your Twilight Sparkle." Rarity finally said.
"Twilight Sparkle?" Twilight repeated. "I can't believe I don't even remember my own name." Said Twilight letting herself fall on the floor. Twilight started to get a few tears in her eyes. She felt a hoof around her. She looked up and saw Fluttershy giving her a warm smile. Twilight managed a little smile. "I will remember, right?" Asked Twilight.
"Of course, we'll be with you every step of the way. We won't leave your side." Fluttershy said giving Twilight a warm hug. Twilight smiled and spoke. "I can see why you all are my friends." She said. Twilight stud up and tried composing herself. "What now?" Asked Twilight.
Spike was about to say something when instead a scroll appeared. "Its a scroll from Princess Celestia." Spike said as he opened the scroll. "What does it say?" Twilight asked. Spike started to read.
Dear Twilight
I just wanted to remind you that tomorrow we have the royal meeting. The meeting will continue for two days, so make sure you bring everything you need. I hope to see you there

"Why would a princess want me at a royal meeting?" Twilight looked at her friends. Applejack walked up to her. "Twilight your a princess too." Applejack said taking the crown that Twilight was still hiding and put it on her head. "Your princess Twilight Sparkle, one of the three Princesses of Equestria." AJ told her, pushing her to the mirror to see herself.
"Who are the other two?" Twilight asked turning to AppleJack. "Well, there's princess Celestia, the one who sent you the letter, and princess Luna, Celestia's little sister." AppleJack told her.
Twilight looked back at the letter before she spoke. "Do you think if I go, she would help me get my memory back?" Twilight asked. Rainbow flew in front of Twilight. "Even if you did loose your memory your still coming up with good ideas." Rainbow said.
"Well then, tomorrow I'll go see if she knows ant way to help me." Twilight said.
"Until then, maybe you should get some rest for tomorrow." Suggested Rarity. Twilight nodded and walked up the stairs to her room. She looked around and saw books everywhere. 'Wow i must really like to read' she thought. She climbed in bed and started to close her eyes drifting off to sleep.
Twilight woke up and walked down stairs. An idea hit her. 'Maybe if I walk around Town I might remember something.' Twilight walked out and started to look around Town. She saw a little filly walking with her parents. Then she realized something else, she couldn't remember her own parents. She tried to not think about it and kept walking.
She ended up in SugerCube Corner and decided to go in for a snack. When she approached the counter Pinkie Pie jumped out. Twilight let out a little scream. "Hey Twilight, what are you doing here?" Pinkie pie asked. Twilight recovered from the scare and answered.
"I just came to get something to eat." Twilight said. Pinkie Pie ran to the kitchen and in a second came back with a cupcake in her hand. She gave it to Twilight. 'How did she do that so fast?' Twilight thought to herself. "Thanks Pinkie, how much does it cost?" Twilight asked tacking out some bits.
"Nothing, consider it a gift and it's your favorite." Pinkie said with a smile.
"Thanks Pinkie." Twilight said walking out the door. She went back to the library where she saw Spike carrying a bag that was double his size. Twilight walked over to him and took the bag off him.
"Spike your going to hurt yourself if you carry that." Twilight said. Spike just looked at her like she was crazy. "What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Twilight asked.
"I'm fine carrying the bag Twilight. You always take that much stuff and ok carrying it." Spike said reaching the bag only to be levitated away by Twilight. "Hay!" Spike yelled. Twilight put him down and opened the bag.
"We're only going two days, we just need the essential. Not all this." Twilight said. Spike just stood there shocked. Was it ok for him to actually like this Twilight better? Twilight got a smaller bag, put some stuff in it and put it on Spike's back. "There, that's better."
Spike gave a sigh defeat. "alright, well are you ready to go?" Spike asked. Twilight nodded and started walking out the door following spike. When they got to the train station Twilight saw all her friends waiting for them.
"What are you girls doing here?" Twilight asked. Pinkie started to jump. "You didn't think that we weren't gonna show up did you? We're here to see you off and wish you good luck." She said. Twilight smiled and hugged her friends.
When the train arrived Twilight waved goodbye until her friends were out of sight. She looked out the window lost in her thoughts. She was worried that maybe the princess couldn't help her. Then she would never remember her friends or family. She was cut from her thoughts when the train came to a stop.
When she got out everyone around her was looking at her. Spike noticed how uneasy Twilight was and spoke. "Don't worry Twilight, everyone is just looking at you because your visiting and your their princess." Twilight looked down at Spike and just acted like they weren't there.
When they arrived at the castle Twilight saw a large pony with a white coat and a wavy mane approaching her. "Hello Twilight, it's good to see you. How was the train ride?" Celestia asked. Twilight just stood there unsure of what to do.
Spike spoke up for Twilight. "Princess we have a problem." Said Spike. Celestia gave a worried and concerned face. "What would that be?" Celestia asked. Spike looked at Twilight. Celestia noticed and turned to Twilight too. "Are you alright Twilight?" She asked the young princess.
"I'm fine but, who are you?" Twilight asked. Celestia turned to Spike expecting an answer. Spike finally spoke. "That would be the problem."
