Griff the griffin is a Chef at the top of his game, running the best French restaurant in Canterlot. He only has two problems: one, a surprise visit from Celestia, party of sixty, and two, a certain blank-flank intern named Pinkie Pie. Caution: NSFW language.
Author's Note: This story was written before The Cutie Mark Chronicles revealed Pinkie Pie's origin story, so now it conflicts with canon. Seriously, who saw 'Amish Rock Farm' coming? Anyway, I still think it's a fun story, and it has special meaning to me since I'm a chef-in-training myself. Enjoy.

this is a sad, happy and funny story / funny because of the cursing
Been a long time since I read a story from this far back in season 1. I loved it. I just saw a journal post about genuineness in the show making episodes good, and this story is full of it. Even if you hadn't made mention in the description, I'd have thought you were a chef yourself from how the workplace antics leap off the page. Griff is a great character and to be perfectly honest, I'd love to see more stories about his restauranteuring adventures. After all, you did kind of cut out the entire middle of this piece, so we need more antics!

I mean, it’s been in my “Top Shelf” reading list of stories for many years now - stories which I’m most fond of and occasionally read again when I’m in the mood (such as now).
