Twilight woke up in a large bed in a room. She walked out into the hallway, 'I really wish I knew witch way to go.' Twilight thought to herself. She kept walking until she found herself outside. 'Great, now i'm lost. I should have just stayed in my room.' Twilight walked back inside and kept walking until she reached a door at the end of a hall. When she walked in she saw everyone sitting around a table eating breakfast. 

"Where have you been Twily?" Shining Armour asked.

"I sort of got lost." Twilight said. "This castle is really big." 

"Sorry about that Twilight. Don't worry, i'll have someone to walk you around so you don't get lost again." Celestia said. "But for now why don't you join us for breakfast." 

Twilight walked over and sat in between Celestia and Luna. 

"So, have you had any luck remembering anything?" Spike asked.

"No, I haven't. But I hope I do soon. It's really hard being around ponies who know you and care you and you can't even remember their name." Twilight said. 

"Don't worry Twilight, everything will work out." Celestia said.

Twilight sighed and got up. "I know. Sorry but i'm not hungry." Twilight said. 

"Let me get a guard to show you to your room." Celestia said. 

"It's ok. I'll find my way back." Twilight said as she walked out. 

"I really wish I could help her." Celestia said. 

"It's alright sister. You have done all you can." Luna said. 

Celestia sighed and continued to eat her breakfast.



Twilight was in her desk looking at pictures. There was the one of her coronation, and her first time in Ponyville with her friends and some of her and her friends just being silly and having fun. She closed it when she herd a knock at the door. When he opened it she saw Shining Armour standing there. "Hi, um, don't take this the wrong way but, why are you here?" Twilight said.

"Princess Celestia told me everything. You can't remember me, can you?" Shining asked. 

"No. And I feel really bad about it." Twilight said. 

"You don't have to feel bad sis. It wasn't your fault. It could happen to anypony." Shining said. 

"Really?" Twilight asked.

"Sure. Why don't we get some ice cream. It always makes you feel better." Shining said.

"If you say so." Twilight said following her brother out. They walked to an ice cream parer that was close by. Shining got them both chocolate. 

"I know it's not easy. But you have to be strong. The beginning is always hard." Shining said. He handed her the ice cream.

"I hope your right." Twilight said. 

"I haven't ever been wrong before." Shining said. 

"Wow, your really humble you know that." Twilight said sarcastically. Shining gave a small laugh making Twilight smile. She was actually enjoying herself. "Why don't you tell me about you and our family." Twilight asked. 

"Well, our mom and dad live here in canterlot and I live in The Crystal Empire. I'v been a prince since I married Cadence. Do you remember her?" Shining asked. 

"The name rings a bell. I think she was...My foal sitter! I remembered." Twilight said haply. 

"Yea, at least you remembered that. That's good. It means your getting better." Shining said.

"I guess." Twilight said taking a bite of her ice cream. They talked a little longer until Shining saw it was getting a little late. 

"Maybe we should go Twily. Everypony will be worried."Shining said. "We never really said where we were going. We didn't even tell them that we left at all."

"Can't we do something else Shiny? I'm really enjoying myself." Twilight said. 

Shining sighed and nodded. "Alright. Just one more thing." 

"Well, what do you want to do?" Twilight asked.

"Well, there's a carnival not to far from here. Do you want to go?" Shining asked. 

"What are we waiting for?" Twilight asked starting to walk in front of her brother.

"Alright then, let's go." Shining said.They walked to the carnival and started getting all the rides. Shining looked at his sister and smiled. It had been forever since the would spent time like this. He missed it. They were having so much fun that they forgot about the time. The only reason they went back was because the carnival closed. When they were walking back they didn't see a certain pony watching them. The pony looked at Twilight one last time before he walked away into a dark ally.



The pony that was spying on Twilight was entering a dark cave. When he reached the end he stopped. 

"Master I bring news." The pony said. 

"What news do you bring?" A voice said. 

"It appears that the newest princess has lost her memory. I'm guessing that she came to canterlot for help. " The pony said.

"This is good. If she lost her memory then we can use this to help us. We mush act know that she doesn't remember anything. I need you to get me more information. And don't come back here until you do." The voice said.

"Yes master." The pony said before he left.

"They are going to be sorry that they ever messed with me." The voice said. It started giving a small laugh before it disappeared.
