When a windigo appears looking for a child he conceived with a regular pony, the Elements are dispatched to supervise the meeting. But it turns out that the windigo's isn't the coldest heart up in the northern steppes, and the child's adoptive family has some secrets of their own...

Trixie is very bored. In an effort to relieve said boredom, she is reading her textbooks on magic.

This is a very bad idea.

The result? A spell goes wrong and Ponyville ends up with two Trixies, or at least two pieces of Trixie.

One is carefree, pompous, and just a wee bit more arrogant than usual about her powers.
The other is a nervous wreck that can't work up the courage to do anything based on the thought that it'll lead to a personal failure in her responsibilities.

They are two incomplete halves of a whole that have a spell to fix.

The problem with fixing it?

One of them decided to run off to Neigh Orleans during a night of endless partying.

The Doctor returns Derpy to her time but their parting is put on hold with a surprise appearance by Carrot Top and two of her friends as well as the arrival a mysterious spaceship that crashes in a forest on the outskirts of Ponyville. However, something sinister resides in the ship and it has its eyes set on one target: Derpy Hooves.

Trixie and her friends decide they need to be more able and prepared in the fight against the tyrant sun and her minions. Being the most tactically minded of the group, Cheerilee takes it on herself to go the extra mile in making sure everypony is at their best, but maybe she's taking things a bit to far...
