Stuck as an aide to a bunch of second-year students at Gifted Unicorns, Sunset Shimmer thought picking one to tutor might be entertaining… and maybe advance her plans for the mirror and her eventual ascension.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders couldn't be happier. They've finally managed to earn their Cutie Marks, and make a couple new friends along the way. As they eagerly look forward to summer vacation, Apple Bloom invites Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara to join her and the rest of the Crusaders at Camp Friendship. Seeing this as an opportunity to make up for all the torment they caused for the three fillies, they accept. After discovering Babs Seed will be joining them, the promise of a fantastic trip seems all the more likely. Owlowiscious spends a lot of time thinking and trying new things. Currently he's an assistant to an alicorn princess, something he's never tried before. Sometimes being an assistant to a neurotic purple princess with a penchant for persistent productivity though, can really prickle his primaries.

A young and plucky elf mage arrives to a new home and quickly makes friends with unique and interesting girls as they all partake in the journey of a lifetime with grand battles, ancient adversaries, a vast world of lore and mystery, and something that is its own adventure: relationships. They will face dangers and obstacles that will make or break them, and some other life problems in between, but with determination, teamwork and (of course) friendship, they will pull through whatever is thrown at them.

JSF F-35B Pilot, Captain Lisa "Sapphire" Johansson was shot down and killed by Russian Su-98s, at least that's what the records state. In all actuality that's not what happened, through seemingly divine intervention she wound up in Equestria, which happened to occupy a totally different dimension and was accessible by use of an extremely advanced and complex spell that was placed on amulets, allowing access through use of an incantation.

That divine intervention was in the form of two Wonderbolts, Spitfire and Soarin. The former was investigating the possibility of using areas of Earth that had little if any human population for training Wonderbolts. While Soarin had accompanied her up into the Great White North of Canada, in the year 2020. However it happened to coincide with the Russian Invasion of Canada to claim the oil sand deposits.

However, after rescuing Sapphire from her downed F-35B Lightning II, they discover that her injuries are incredibly severe and that it would be impossible to get her to the nearest town on Earth to receive medical treatment. They make an incredibly tough decision, one that changes Sapphire's life forever.

Despite the incredible change to both her physical body and species, Captain Johansson isn't about to let a second chance at life get away from her. After all, rarely do you get a second chance to continue living.

That is if she doesn't go insane from the daily insanity of a certain small-town near the capital of Equestria.

Note this is a crossover with the novel Tom Clancy's Endwar.

Sunset Shimmer's friends meant the world to her. After having recently defeated the Dazzlings with the power of friendship she felt like her friendships with those five girls would last forever. Unfortunately, those friendships are gone now. After being successfully framed as the cyberbully Anon-a-miss, Sunset loses her friends and her purpose. To make matters worse Sunset knew who Anon-a-miss was, but nobody believed her. Can she still clear her name? Does it even matter anymore?

Twilight Sparkle's wildest dreams have just been met, and exceeded. Due to an unexpected magical outburst during her entrance exam to Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns, the Solar Princess herself took an interest and took Twilight on as her personal student.

This was a pleasant shock for Twilight and her family. However, a few months later, a less pleasant shock would reach Twilight in the form of Celestia returning to Canterlot with a new daughter, a freshly adopted pegasus filly named Rainbow Dash. As the two get to know each other, Twilight can clearly see something eating at the self absorbed and competitive filly's mind.

To make matters even more confusing, Princess Celestia is now hiding something. Twilight dares not question it, but it is quite clear that Celestia isn't being wholly open with anypony about her decision to adopt some random orphan.

Could the answers have something to do with the cryptic dream Twilight had the night before she met Rainbow Dash?
