Twilight isn't having a very good day. An experimental spell blew up in her face, an army of changelings is attacking Canterlot, and she just died. Yet somehow, it looks like it's going to keep going downhill from here.

Given the chance to correct what's gone wrong, Twilight swears she's going to fix all this even if it kills her. Which it will. Frequently.

Straight from the Canterlot archives, this collection of documents retells the rise and fall of Princess Twilight Sparkle, Enlightened Despot of Equestria, Defender of the Peace, Lawgiver, and Commander of Fort Libris.

Twilight Sparkle is, of course, known to historians as the first usurper to seek to schedule a coup d'etat by appointment. But for other details- such as, "What is the longest recorded time a pony has gone without sleep?", "Is it true what they say about swans?", and, "Why is there an owlbear in the Equestrian Witness Protection Program?"- these documents provide the answers and much, much more.

This is ABSOLUTELY SERIOUS HISTORY from primary sources. If anything makes you think this is silly, ludicrous, or unbelievable, blame Discord.

EDIT 3-15-17: Wow, almost instant featured! Was NOT expecting that!

EDIT 4-8-2017: Featured in the Royal Canterlot Library! Thanks!

Perhaps, with powerful allies at her side, she can find answers and uncover the truth about her destiny.

House Everfree: ancient, pure, and on the brink of disaster. With a vote of no confidence in Consul Quercus scheduled to be debated next month, all of Equestria is watching House Everfree's every step—and all are ready to pounce at the first sign of weakness.

The pressure is even felt by Maria, the first neophyte of Everfree, student at Canterlot Arcana. At times, it seems as if almost everything she does will bring shame to her House—her family. Maria must learn to navigate the treacherous waters of student life and politics, all the while juggling her schoolwork with her social life. A difficult act, but such is the life of a neophyte.
