Then They came. In the middle of the night, They scooped me from my home, and... changed me.

Now I'm a beast, a demon the like of which the world I've become stranded on has never seen before, scraping by on the fringes of society, hiding from the natives, and doing my best to avoid notice.

After all, who could ever be friends with a monster?

Fluttershy's skills in flying are sketchy at best, but when Spitfire and Soarin chance by a monster attack in town, it is apparent that the timid little mare has been hiding some impressive talent, skills good enough to warrant recruitment into the Wonderbolts. There's just the issue of the house-eating monster between them and her.

It was a spontaneous decision, one that I regret every waking moment. At the time, when I had to choose between my friends and all the alicorn magic in Equestria, I didn't answer the question fast enough.

It's rare that the Royal Family gets together for anything these days. So when Sapphire Shores come to Ponyville as Cadence and Shining Armor visit from the Chrystal Empire, it's a no brainer that for one night, all royalty are going to take the night off.

One problem though. The babysitter for Flurry Heart canceled.

Queen Chrysalis has been wanting revenge for everything for a while now, and has decided this was the night she was going to attack. However, instead of a fearce battle that would lead to either victory or defeat, she was given an interesting wager.

If she can watch Flurry Heart for one evening and not lose her mind, she would be given Equestria without a fight.

Sounds legit.

Rated Teen for some suggestive humor.

Teleportation. It is the best possible way to travel... As long as you don't think about it too much. As long as you don't ask where Twilight goes in that split second when she's neither here nor there.

No relation to the other story with the same name, just a coincidence of both picking the same excellent title. I was unaware that the other one existed.
