This isn't entirely my work. This story was started by kiddi. He wrote the first 4 chapters. He feels he can't continue and has given me permission to continue it.
Naruto Uzumaki is lost to Konoha when he vanishes durring an attack on his life. He winds up in the magical land of Equestria in under the care of a certain Zebra. But this is only the beggining as much larger things are in story for are young traveler. Watch as he grows and faces numerous challenges caused by his past and his future.

In the magical world of Equestria, the land is divided and the realms are at war. With Princess Luna on the verge of being defeated by her sister, Princess Celestia, she attempts a long forgotten spell. It is one that calls forth a hero in times of great need and what appears is something that Luna did not expect.

A human by the name of Aerin Skyheart is called forth. Can he truly make a difference in a world where the blade rules above all else?

It was suppose to be a normal day of sky diving for two bored friends. But fate had other plans for our them, as they somehow traveled to an alternate universe. This not only proves the multiverse theory, but also leaves our friends bored, confused, and, worst of them all, hungry. how will they deal with this new odd possibly dangerous universe? Will they accept their new life? Or rage quit and destroy everything? Okay maybe not the destroying everything....yet. How will they react to the technicolor inhabitants? A new man arrives in Ponyville in an unusual fasion. He fell from the sky, but he doesn't have wings so how did he get in the sky in the first place? And how does he survive the fall with barely a scratch. Six young women attempt to help this stranger. And all he wants to do is run. Run away from his past and the pain it holds. And maybe now he can.

In this new world he can start over, begin to trust people once more. He can finally stop running and find peace. Perhaps even find love. Or so he thought. Turns out he's not the only visitor to enter the world from across the very plane of reality itself. Now he's forced into a war he never chose.

Why was he sent to a different world? What is this war? And who was it that sent him?

He's caught in a war never intend for him. Or was it?

Author's note: This will be a rather humanized story, characters from My Little Pony will still have horns and wings. I will also be switching from our protagonist's first person view to a third person view of someone else. Also the crossovering won't happen until a couple of chapters later, but I can assure you that when it does happen, it will be big! There will also be a mild amount of swearing and gore. Nothing too descriptive though.

It started as a normal Equestrian morning, but doesn't it always? The princesses are frightened, and in Ponyville, a creature from a forgotten race walks into town. His kind hasn't been seen in over a thousand years, but even then he's still far from what he appears to be.

Arc 1: The First Day

Author's Note: Hey guys! This is my first story, so constructive criticism is more than welcome. I'll take this moment to say that I own nothing but my main character, the plot, and a few surprises which will appear later. All other characters and linked music are NOT mine. A word on music. At times I might offer two links to a song. The first is the OFFICIAL version, the second is the closest approximation to how I feel it is sung in the story. Just warning you, because I know some people hate covers. This story is rated teen for occasional language, implied sex, and gruesome imagery (mostly late in the story and in flashbacks). Fantastic, I finally get to visit my favorite cast of awesome talking ponies to have one small thing keeping me from enjoying it to its fullest. I CAN"T FREAKING INTERACT WITH ANYTHING. I guess being a ghost in Equestria isn't the worst thing that could have happened, at least I can shadow my favorite ponies and see what going on in their lives. Heh, I guess I've become the ultimate stalker, I do miss having someone to talk to that wasn't me, myself or I though.

A visitor arrives in Equestria, bearing a wealth of knowledge and a troubled past. The Mane 6 are quick to befriend the stranger, who helps them to discover what they truly value in life, and how to achieve it.

But learning to overcome their fears and achieve their desires comes at a steep price, paid by their innocence.

He never wanted to be a part of anything illegal; even if he didn't have much love for ponies. He was just some guy. Some cynic that happened to live his life in Equestria, trying to live his day to day life in relative comfort and minimal contact with ponies. But through after some coaxing from his friends (read as blackmail) he was forced to attempt to steal the royal crowns from the palace and caught in the act. However, given a chance to redeem himself, the thief is offered the choice to become Princess Celestia's royal attendant.

With little other choice, this would be thief's life is turned on it's head. And now instead of a steady inconspicuous life, filled with ease and mediocrity, his life is now one of warmth, excitement, and a friendship that can only be forged once a thief begins honoring the sun.

Ok, where was I? Ah yes, I was just entering my office in Downtown Houston one afternoon to hear a job offer. When I got there, I found a beautiful, robe-wearing woman waiting for me. Now, in this day and age, most people would find that strange. I didn't for two reasons.

1) In this line of work, you run into a few crazies. If I had a dollar for every nut-job I turned away, I could buy a small European country.

2) It was Halloween. Hell, I was on my way to a party dressed in a replica suit of Veteran Ranger Armor from Fallout: New Vegas, complete with gas mask and real riot gear I borrowed from a friend on the SWAT team. I was gonna win the costume contest for sure!

I'm getting off topic, aren't I? Anyways, this weirdo offered me a job without going into much detail. No location, no objective, not even a dollar amount The only thing I got out of her was the promise that I would be saving thousands, if not millions of lives.

Every instinct told me to turn the job down, and yet I still accepted it. Maybe the idea of playing hero again had its appeal.

God, I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
