(Note: This fic takes place within the universe of My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic: Stallion Edition and it is strongly recommended that you check that out first to better understand the universe. This takes place after the events of Chapter 154, but aside from the first twelve chapters and Chapter 65, you shouldn't have to read every chapter.)

This story is a sequel to My Little Pony Friendship is Magic What If?: Volume 5

It's back yet again, that series which dares to ask the fateful question: "What if that episode had been written differently?"

With the show's seventh season now wrapped up, Season 7 episodes are fair game and we've got eight of them awaiting a rewrite within this installment. But first we have an episode from Season 4, and an episode from Season 6. And some of the rewrites will be bonus chapters, exploring what would happen if a different character was made the focus of the episodes.

As always, I must reiterate that all of the episodes that appear here and end up rewritten are the result of my personal opinion, so don't get upset if an episode you like appears on the list or an episode you didn't like doesn't make the cut. I'll gladly respect your opinions so long as you respect mine, and like always you are not obligated to read any of these chapters if you don't want to.

And while it probably goes without saying at this point, I should mention that I bear no ill will and mean no disrespect to Hasbro, the DHX writing and directing staff, or the people who like any of the episodes that appear here. The intent of this fic, like all of its predecessors, is for entertainment purposes only. (Apologies for the image, once again it was the best I could find.)

Curious as to what episodes were already rewritten? Be sure to check out volumes 1-5. You can find them all below:

We all know what happened when newly crowned Princess Twilight Sparkle went through the enchanted mirror that led her to a world parallel to Equestria to retrieve her crown stolen by Sunset Shimmer. But, what if she hadn't gone through alone?

What if instead of Spike, her friends defied Celestia's warning and followed her into the other world? Would things really be that disastrous, or can this group of friends bring back together a different group of friends, who remind them of ponies, or creatures, back home in Equestria, or seem somewhat familiar? And will they also help the Mane 6 stop Sunset Shimmer from accomplishing whatever plan she's scheming?

This story is a sequel to Can Ya Fix Her?

After a few days of waiting and planning, Thunderlane finally gets the courage to go back to Carousel Boutique, look for that pretty pink dress, and ask Rarity to buy it. Any number of things could happen, but a number of things--Rarity's heartbreaking refusal, a full, soul-bearing confession, and a sexy strut across the carpet--are the only things Thunderlane didn't expect.

He also could never have expected to question himself. His life choices. His identity. Who or what he is, or what he ought to be.

He just wanted to feel pretty. But is that all there is to it?

Contains light sexual references. Not enough for a Sex tag. At least, I don't think so.

Spectacular artwork by Crimmar.

This story is a sequel to the From the Shadows comic arc (51-53).

Shadowlock and Twilight parted on good terms, after a few clashes. But when he shows up again, asking for help in undoing the damage he caused, the two of them embark on an adventure that will change both their lives.

Immense thanks to Triq267 for prereading and consultation, as well as to the wonderful folks at /mlp/, where I posted the rough draft.
