Chapter 1. Writing to Inform

View Online

"Good morning, Dashie," a goofy, but saccharine, soothing stallion voice whispers into the auditory perceivers of the athletic, tomboy Wonderbolt he doted.

"Good-morning, Soar," the cyan mare replies, rubbing the crust away from her tired ocular perceivers, then wrapping a hoof around her doter's neck.

"It's way too early to get up," Dash groans loudly, looking over at her alarm clock which read 7:49 am. Letting out a loud yawn, the cyan mare reposes her diminutive mare muzzle on top of the mane of the stallion she adored. His mane smelt like banana and she loved it. Wait, What? A Banana?

"Soarin, why does your mane smell like a fruit?" Dash laughs marginally, inhaling heavily, getting a good whiff of the sent he was sending off.

"What fruit?" Soarin looked up at the mare who was somehow now sitting on his chest, rubbing her muzzle into the bed mane mess.

"Banana," She giggled afore lowering herself down from optically canvassing the top of his head to now looking into his emerald eyes which took up at least 70% of his face, planting a minuscule kiss on his lips.

She commenced smiling afore the stallion gave her a much more ardent kiss in return, placing his hooves on her petite waist and diving into her mouth. The saccharine, but sour taste came rushing to both, making Rainbow moan, especially when she felt his tongue brush against her teeth. Memories of last week flooding into her mind.Slightly gasping for air, Soarin' broke the kiss, a trail of saliva between the two composing once they broke apart. Unfolding his wings, Soarin' utilizes his impressive wingspan to reach around his rainbow maned mare and pull her to his chest.

"Because there was no other shampoo left in The Wonderbolts shower room," Soarin smiled sheepishly, planting kisses on Rainbows head, making her bush just scarcely more after each smooch.

"I bet it will be a filly," Soarin suddenly announces, sitting up and hoisting Dash from his chest she had been laying on, hoisting her to the left side of the bed and laying her down, carefully. He then moves the duvet out of the way and visually examined Dash's belly.

"Soar, you do know, most pregnant mares don't show until at least twelve weeks. Its been four weeks and all I have shown is morning sickness and a few mood swings," Dash laughed at the adorable optical discernment of Soarin hugging her resplendent, athletic pony belly.

"However, I am kinda hoping for a colt," Dash smirked at Soarin' placing a hoof on his cheek and smiling at him.

"Dear Celestia you're so fucking precious when you smile," At that compliment, Dash obnubilated her face in her hooves, clearly embarrassed.

"Since when did Equestria's fearless, bravest and fastest pegasus become so abashed?" Soarin' teased.

"Hey," Dash shook her head and punched him lightly, distributing a small 'ouch' from the stallion.

1 HOUR LATER

Dear Mum & Dad,

This is your astonishing, awe-inspiring, astounding, awe-inspiring and awe-inspiring again daughter Rainbow Dash speaking! Well... writing, to be honest. Anyways I know both of you know who Soarin' is. He's the near snow white stallion with the dark blue mane... AKA one of The Wonderbolts! You probably saw him in a lot of posters I had on my wall when I lived with you guys. Anywho, once I joined The Bolts we became close really fast and started developing a really awesome friendship which turned into something even bigger, blah blah blah, you get the point.
So, out of all this, what I am trying to say is that I have been in this relationship with Soarin' for at least seven months now and we decided we were both ready to make a family. Yes, I am aware that seven months is a short time but he just is amazing and so loyal to me. I cannot wait until you meet him! You're going to love him! He really is amazing guys!
Oh! I nearly forgot! Don't forget to come to Pinkies party she's throwing for us. Shes called it the 'The early-foal-shower-party'
p.s I'm 4 weeks pregnant if you're wondering.

Love from,
Rainbow Dash

*phew* Rainbow spat out the wooden pencil from her mouth which rolled off the kitchen table and fell onto the cloud carpet. Looking up at the brawny stallion who was cooking eggs, for the dyad, along with some toast in the toaster she got out of her chair and hovered over to Soarin, kissing his left cheek afore she looked down at the pan which held two impeccably pouched eggs.

"Ah! No touching Dashie!" Soarin batted her away playfully as soon as he saw her move her hoof to the pan.

"It's not ready yet," Soarin rolled his eyes and turned down the heat from a five to a two. "And do you remember what happened last time you interfered with my cooking?"

FLASHBACK

"Woah! What is that smell?" Dash ecstatically sniffed the air, following the strong whiff of mixed fruits and pastry to the kitchen downstairs, the oven. Inside was a fresh, steaming apple pie. If Soarin' wasn't in the shower, upstairs right now he would probably have paid royal guard ponies to stay on watch and make sure she didn't have any physical contact with his precious pie or do anything to have his dreams plenarily crushed.

Dash grinned and brought her head down so she was eye level with the oven, opening its rusty, old, door.
"Who knew Soarin' was such a good cook?" Dash gingerly looked at the pie, licking her lips.
"I wonder if it's cooked yet,' Dash asked herself, reaching in and grabbing the burning mental pie dish it was held it.

"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-"

45 minutes later in The Pony Ville Hospital

"Yeah...That was pretty dumb. I had bandages on my hooves for at least two months, and it hurt like shit,"
Dash rolled her eyes, giggling.

"Pretty dumb? I'm pretty certain that was just ridiculousness," Soarin verbally expressed, laughing while pulling the mare into a sweet kiss, hugging her diminutive frame.

"And no wonder it burnt you! You grabbed onto a metal pie dish that was still in the burning oven, you silly mare," Soarin laughed once more before sliding a spatula under one of the gooey, cooked eggs, placing it a top of the golden crisp toast he had previously put in the toaster a few minutes ago.

"Anywho, there you go, Dashie," Soarin' passed her the plate. Taking the breakfast, she trotted back to the table, sliding her rump back into her chair and sitting down, immediately digging in. It felt so good to have a 'decent' meal, as Dash put it. Since joining The Wonderbolts she had to keep a strict diet. Eggs aren't the most healthy thing to have, but she couldn't care less. All she cared about is that it is a lot better than having a bowl of grass in front of your muzzle every day. She wasn't an unhealthy pony in the slightest, she just liked to enjoy cupcakes with a certain pink pony now and then. But alas, she had to stop eating cupcakes and stick to anything that was green.

*DING-DONG DING-DONG*

"Really? I was enjoying this meal and would appreciate it if I didn't have to get up half way eating," Dash groaned, flying from her chair and making her way across the kitchen to the living room and finnaly reaching the front door. She swung it open with such force Soarin felt a cold gust of wind blow against his back which made him cringe.

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, mail for Miss Dash" The grey pony smiled at Dash, going in to hand her the mail addressed to Rainbow, dropping them below Dash's hooves on accident, gulping as she knew Dash was not the most patient of all ponies

"S-Sorry" Derpy bent down to pick them up, occasionally looking up at Dash.

"That's quite alright, really Derpy." Dash bent down and picked up her mail, glancing at them, nothing special, it was just either junk mail or stuff about the bank.

"Oh! I nearly forgot," Rainbow flew back into her house, grabbing the letter which had her parents names written on the envelope.

"Could you deliver this to this address, please," Dash indicated the small address in the corner of the envelope.
"Thanks," Dash smiled at the pony which made her smile back.

"Sure thing Rainbow Dash!" She smiled cheerfully before taking the letter and flying away to her next house.

"Who was it?" Soarin yells from the kitchen, placing is now empty plate in the sink.

"Derpy the mail mare," Dash trotted back inside to continue her breakfast, again placing her rump into her chair.

"Really? Its cold already!" Dash yelled, groaning before flying back out of her seat for the fifth time now and chucking her small meal into the bin.

Tomorrow is going to be a long day Soarin' hummed to himself, watching the frustrated mare.
