This story is a sequel to The Hardest Goodbye

After deciding to run away to the Badlands in order to try and find his destiny, Spike encounters the old villain, Nightmare Moon. After an unsuccessful attempt to posses him, Nightmare Moon is now stuck in his head.

A story about a dragon and his family. Some slice of life, tiny bit of drama, and hopefully some daaww moments. Spike, despite all odds has not only a marefriend, but a foal, and not just one...He has three. Of both. Join Spike, Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Applebloom and their foals in their day to day lives.

I know the little dracony belonging to lopoddity is named Jasper, but this story isn't involved with those characters, just using the template of those characters, so I wanted a different name. I also changed Allegro to Crystal Melody, and Zephyr for the dracony with AB based off a Spikebloom story I read ages ago - Link

One thousand years ago, the Princesses Celestia and Luna were blindsided by the return of the Masters of Equus. The cult of power-mad alicorns, thought to have been banished from Equestria forever, appeared in the middle of the Princesses' battle for supremacy, and caged them away. The rest of Equestria quickly fell to their might. Even the fearsome Discord was forced to his knees before them. All of Equestria was enslaved, and an era of misery began.

Now, one thousand years later, a lone unicorn mare has learned of a creature that might be able to overthrow the Masters. A creature immune to magic, overwhelming in size and strength, sealed away for centuries uncounted. A creature of ultimate evil: the Smooze.

Unfortunately for Starlight Glimmer, in trying to ensure the creature's obedience, she modified the summoning ritual a bit too far.

Because of her meddling, the soul of a recently-deceased human is pulled from Limbo, and given life, but not exactly a body. Now he has to help her save the world, or face obliteration.

Not much of a choice, is it?

Inspired by Pen Mightier and Bucking Nonsense, the legends who – to my knowledge – popularized the "human in villain's body becomes Equestria's savior" genre. May your inkwells never run dry.

Against your better judgement, you ended up having three little girls that you have to take care of all by yourself now.

As much trouble as they can be sometimes, you still wouldn't trade them for the world.

My own personal rewrite of the episode A Royal Problem. With Spike in Starlight Glimmer's place.

When Spike is called in for Royal Business to spend time with Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, the two princesses have been getting rather angry at each other, both claiming the other doesn't know how the other feels when doing their job. So, the Princesses decide to switch places and see who has the better life, but what affect would this have on Spike?

A couple typos and things were fixed/edited.

This takes place shortly after Season 4.

The eternal night is over. The Elements of Harmony have vanquished Nightmare Moon, the world was saved, and Princess Luna has returned to the throne, this time to rule by her sister's side as equals.

The fear of her people, however, remains. She see's it in their eyes, hears it in their whispered words. She accepts it. To her, this is her penance for the pain she has caused. To sink into the night and rule from afar... this is how she will atone for the pain brought to her subjects... to her sister.

Little did she know that fate had other plans in store for her. Plans that would be set in motion by a single sentence, a sentence that would go on to change her life in an instant...

“Luna, I would like you to meet Spike Solaris. My son.”

Spike after moving away from his childhood home, comes back six years later and enrolls at Crystal Prep Academy only to discover his six female childhood friends are already students there. It would be a joy for Spike if it weren't for the fact his six friends had changed while he was away. Can he help the six remember the way they used to be before he left or are they too far gone to ever be who they once were?

Ember's been the Dragon Lord for a few months now, and the pressures of the throne are beginning to get to her. Although she told her new (and only) pony friend Twilight that she could write to her with any questions about dragon culture, she was beginning to think that maybe she would need to send a letter the other way. After all, Ember's a young princess, just like Twilight! Surely she can give her some princess-ly advice? But Twilight may find that a dragon princess has a few problems that might be a bit different from her own.
