The Dazzlings were once high and mighty sirens, able to feed off of the hate of other species to enhance their powers of singing and manipulating others to their will.

But after the Battle of the Bands, the three of them were left powerless, deprived of what made them what they once were, and with no way to reverse it.

Or so it seemed, as one day, Sonata catches a perfect replica of all three of their gems being sold at a nearby pawn shop. Sparing no time, the girls decide to immediately purchase them and slip them around their necks to give them some sense of comfort after their tragic loss.

However, little do they know that these gems have some rather... different powers.

As a very young Starswirl the Bearded pens these final words in his journal, he finds himself alone in his study with the magic mirror now housing the banished Sirens. Starswirl knows that no one could blame him for ridding Equestria of three such relentless menaces...yet he blames himself just the same. He understands now that is a better kind of magic he must come to understand, especially if he wants to succeed at training his two young princess charges to lead Equestria with loyalty and generosity and laughter and honesty and kindness.

Meanwhile, in the realm of 'humans', the Sirens struggle with the changes their banishment has brought, but also vow to return to Equestria and rise again...however fearful each of them may truly be that they will never see home again.

Years later, an aged Starswirl realizes that he cannot end all of the pain the Sirens bring to others and themselves...and so he prepares a certain princess of the sun for the day when someone will come along who will perfect the study of the Magic of Friendship in ways he never could.

While walking home from hanging out with her friends, Sunset Shimmer has an unexpected conversation with someone she didn't expect to see again.

Just a little one shot about my favorite characters. It's my first time writing these two, So I hope it's okay.

This story is a sequel to Shadowbolts Adventures: Let It Snow

School. The first frontier.
These are the adventures of the Crystal Prep Shadowbolts.
On their 12-year mission to learn new things and grow up.
To boldly go where everybody has gone before.

This is the rest of the story that began way back in 2015 with "Music To Our Ears", as the Crystal Prep Shadowbolts live their day to day lives, occasionally embarking on exceptional adventures and journeys, and always learning how to not be terrible people. They're joined by their friends the Wondercolts and Dazzlings, who have their own problems and issues to deal with, such as rogue magic powers and the end of a millennium of existence.

This story is an ongoing "Webcomic" style story. It will be updated on a daily basis with much shorter chapters 5 days a week Monday-Friday (unless I get far enough ahead for the occasional weekend updates). However, don't worry about getting confused about what's going on at any given time. If you wish to relive old adventures or keep track of specific storylines, what story each chapter belongs to will be clearly marked for reader convenience.

I hope you'll join me for this ride and enjoy it as much as I have been and will continue to.

Now in her late forties, Sunset Shimmer has built herself a career as a doctor. She has devoted her life to helping others, be it by prescribing pain killers or simply bandaging a scraped knee. A part of her longs to return to Equestria, but she is mostly happy with her new life. However, one day three very familiar girls drop by her office, one of them injured. Old memories flood back as Sunset is shown an unexpected harsh reality related to her high school life.

Talent is a lot like ice cream. On the surface, it's hard to tell how long it'll be before it'll all melt and dribble all over your hand, but the part that sinks to the bottom of the cone is still-

Wait, wrong metaphor. Whatever.

Sonata Dusk has talents of her own, things Aria and Adagio couldn't do to save their lives, and she's going to prove it! With a brilliant plan backed up by her special skills, her old enemies won't know what hit them!

Sonata has nightmares every night. She has the same reoccurring dream every time. But a person can only handle so much. Sonata can't take it anymore. She wants to end it all, she can't take the pain anymore. It's not like there was anyone who cared for her, anyways.

Harry Potter was a lonely boy who one day wished for a friend. Luna, trapped on the moon, wished for the same. And so their wishes are granted. How will the two deal with each other? And what about Nightmare Moon? Needless to say, their lives are going to change in both expected and unexpected ways...

Chapters 9-11 now re-written.

Adagio, Aria, and Sonata have been together since they were born. When they took over Equestria, Adagio led them. When they were banished to Earth, Adagio led them. When they faced against the Rainbooms, Adagio led them.

Now, after losing all their power and being driven away, Adagio has had enough.

For the first time in her life, Sonata is alone. No magic. No one to guide her. No place to go. However, when she bumps into some familiar faces, she may find herself in a different place. Everything is changing fast and it's hard to take it all in.

Note: I'm gonna try my best to avoid 'Sonata in Leather Pants' here.
