Alric, the Chosen Undead, had spent eons in the broken time of his world studying the Curse and searching for a cure. In his research, he learned the horrifying truth. Gwyn had cast the curse upon mankind when he linked the flame to perpetuate the Age of Fire, fearing the natural cycle and the rise of the Dark. In doing so, he damned the world to a slow and agonizing apocalypse, merely for his own lust for power and inability to allow the cycle to happen as it should.

Thus Alric made it his purpose to undo the curse and restore the natural cycle of light and dark to undo the damage Gwyn had wrought. But in the final moment, while he was on the verge of accomplishing his goal, he stumbled into a trap laid upon the First Fire by Gwyn to prevent what the Lord of Cinder had set into motion from ever being undone.

Alric was cast through time and space to a universe not his own. Landing in the Frozen North over one thousand years before the rise of Twilight Sparkle and her friends.

Can he find his way back to fulfill his purpose before it's too late? Or will he succumb to hopelessness and go hollow upon realizing there is no way back?

And what of the two adorable fillies he found within the frozen ruins of a village destroyed by windigos, and saved from freezing to death? What shall become of them?

When Rarity blew up at Blueblood at the Grand Galloping Gala, it was a turning point for the young stallion. He learned once more to apologize, his beloved Aunt Celestia said she was proud of him for something of his own doing, and upon reflecting, it made Blueblood think;

Am I worthy?

Do I deserve to be here?

If so, why am I here?

Those questions, he could not answer. But that is why he left; to use the gift instilled upon his flank and find out those questions with the hope of returning as a better pony.

A good pony.

A great pony.

Warning: If you hate Blueblood, this is not a story for you. What would one expect from such a title?

Archmage Phie, a 516 year old elf with mastery over conjuration is brought to Equestria as repayment of Discord's debt for playing a role in releasing him from his prison early by accident, where she will learn the magic of friendship. Meanwhile she will also be taking up a class to teach several equestians all about conjuration as its a school they seem to only have a rudimentary understanding of.

Phie came to this world to learn magic, but perhaps what she truly needs is a friend, and not just another student.

Slight variation of a DnD character, Phie is a wizard capable of only conjuration spells but the limit allows her to cast higher tier spells of that school. Cover art is Strength from Black Rock Shooter and was the style Phie was based off of.

Ethan Woods is your average member of the Sinestro Corps. He hates Green Lanterns, he spreads fear throughout the universe, and he was sent into the Unknown Sectors to establish the fear-induced order of the Yellow Lanterns and ended up finding a planet full of friendship-loving ponies.
...Wait, I don't think that happened to anyone else...

As is normal at this point, cover art is by Cookie Encyclopedia, and wow, this is the best art she's made for me yet. Period.

Warning, very slow burn.

Fighting his son who became a devil incarnate and then dropping him into a volcano after beating him, a mercy but necessary killing in his eyes.

Ambushed by an army of robots and then nearly killed by them after they self destructed in his face, after being betrayed by his son who was revived twenty years later who fought alongside him in the battle against the robots after they both lost to Heihachi's Grandson, a slap in the face to him which will be remedied at a later date.

But being caught in a storm after flying helplessly across the sky for who knows how many kilometres at who knows many miles per hour, after being blown away from the robot explosion, to end up face first crashing into Canterlot Mountain and to fall into Canterlot Castle to be in a coma for a month to wake to a land of talking horses AND THEN to end up in the middle of a battle between the Ponies and the Changelings that takes place all across Canterlot - now that is something he didn't expect to happen.
