Cheerilee loves teaching. Despite all the trials and tribulations it presents, it's worth it in the end when her students learn something new. Not even a letter from the Ministry of Education reminding her about the impending teacher evaluations can sway her. But tack on her new relationship, the constant 'help' of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, and some strange behavior from Dinky and Sparkler, and her life is about to become a lot more complicated.

This story is set in parallel with The Life and Times of a Winning Pony and The Study of a Winning Pony with the approval of Chengar Qordath, Comma-Kazie and Ponibius.

--Undergoing a rewrite, nothing major, just quality and two minor aesthetic details in the story. Still readable!-- This is also Not a madverse story

It is now distantly into mankind's future. Our destiny has led us into the starry beyond, and worlds uncounted.

Fate has a funny way of forcing itself onto others; it gives you a choice, but in the end, did you ever really choose? Our fates become intertwined with one little planet in particular. We take from it something unforgivable.

Our heroes and heroines now fight mystery with magic and seek answers from a world and people far beyond their comprehension. They seek their home. Can they get there? Can they survive the journey they must make? Perhaps most importantly, will who they are survive?

Simply put the story is a sci fi epic. I intend to tell a fantastic tale of hope, friendship, big meaty energy weapons and bigger stompy war machines. Also ponies. LOTS of ponies. As well as some societal and moral complications. The ponies, essentially, get abducted and fight to get free and home while preserving who they are, both against humanity and with the help of people.

Not so simply put this story is one of moral ambiguity, the details of the sociological and technological advancement of a human race which defeats death itself. As well as their voyage through the stars on an endless pilgrimage. Our fates become tied with Equestria's to a degree, and we take from them something unforgivable.

As an additional warning this story contains magical mustaches and dubious use of magic and technology in general! Talk to your doctor before reading.

Current description is outdated and horrible. Thank you for your patience while I figure out one that actually does this story justice.

Note: I think this story works better if read without the long synopsis. The sex and gore tag refers to light content of both. Think summer-blockbuster.

The story is a HIE with post-cyberpunk in the mix, and most of the human main characters are full-body cyborgs meant to look like MLP:FIM characters. If this is enough to grab your interest, then please skip the below text.

Spoiler prevention.

It is the year 2310 and trans-humanism is within the grasp of anybody that cares for it...

The public responded with "Eww..."

Even so, life and technology marches on.

Such as in the Pheidippides, humanities first try at a manned starship with a range outside our solar-system.

But not all see it as a glorious day. The Ludz, a neo-luddite terrorist group is howling for blood...

And that was before Captain Gregory starts recruiting heavily among the transhuman community.

The response, sabotage of the experimental engines.

Now, stuck in orbit above a world that shouldn't exist, in a ship that barely is holding together and most of his crew dead or wounded...

How exactly do you perform first contact... when your experts looks like bad imitations of the heroes of the land?

The other character tag refers to: Shining Armor, Cadance, Luna and Celestia.

This story is a sequel to The Stars Did Aid In Our Escape

Equestria may be the homeland of ponies, but it is not where they came from. Ponies came from a world so distant and far-gone that none now live who remember it. But this is not the story of that place.

Ponies move from world to world, though they spend so much time on each world that nopony ever knows they are not the first ponies to leave their world. And leave they do, for the ones who made them have a plan for the ponies, and they often test to see if the ponies have fulfilled the plan.

The test is a purple pony princess, a change nopony ever expects and, thus far, nopony ever accepts. This is the story of what happens when the Purple Pony Princess Test is given, and fails.

This is the story of Purple Pony Princess Test #7.

After a decade of protecting Equestria with the Elements of Harmony, Ponyville is a very different place. Or maybe it's exactly the same. Either way, the Bearers of the eight Elements of Harmony better get to the bottom of it.

A slightly more mind screwy adventure story than my usual, that will be updated irregularly.

Twilight Sparkle presents a collection of interviews, letters, essays, poetry and prose compiled over several years of her relationship with the human Bellerophon and his "herd", covering subjects as broad as Equestrian social taboos, comparisons of earth and Equestrian mythology, romance and the occasional recipe. Compiled by Twilight Sparkle, with foreword by Her Royal Highness, Princess Celestia.

(This is a bit of an experiment based on the worldbuilding concepts presented in AnonAuthor's Xenophilia [[NSFW] - caveat lector!], which intrigued me enough to want to take a closer look. It's likely you'll be very confused by this unless you read at least some of Xenophilia. Updates will appear as and when an idea pops into my head for a thing to add. And fair warning, some of this might come across very dry and dusty. Thank you academia! And thank you AnonAuthor for letting me have a go, and both AnonAuthor and AnonponyDASHIE for all the collab work they're doing. I'll make up for the dust by tossing in the odd piece of art now and then.)

In the future, we'll colonize the solar system, cure cancer, clone the human genome, and build trans-dimensional hoodies that can summon tiny talking horses from an alternate universe.

It's pretty snazzy.

Cover art by xioade.

There is no beginning and no ending; only hoodies and the poni poni poni that fill them.
