I didn't like it. I read almost two chapters and it feels like every single added element is there to justify canon, and the end result isn't very novel.

I know I take forever to update that story, but if you've been wanting more Trixie, there you go.

So I think I may be the only person not charmed by the smirky Rainbow Dash face in Daring Don't. I mean, I didn't hate it or anything. It just didn't grab me.

However, it seems to be the new Twilight Scepter, since I can't go anywhere MLP related and not run into it. I didn't mind so much with the scepter, since people did amusing things with it, but the Smirk Face is just... a face. I dunno. It's just not that funny to me.

Okay, chapter eight is roughed out, and I'm much happier with it than I anticipated. I have the feeling that some things are going to need a little extra attention, but it's a better chapter than it was going to be because I snipped out a lot of the intended comedy. Given the issues Trixie is dealing with, it just wasn't the place. There is a bit of light-heartedness in there, but it's mostly a continuation of her getting her life together.
