Taking a Job for Granite Finally Continues! · 4:54pm Dec 5th, 2013
Okay, chapter eight is roughed out, and I'm much happier with it than I anticipated. I have the feeling that some things are going to need a little extra attention, but it's a better chapter than it was going to be because I snipped out a lot of the intended comedy. Given the issues Trixie is dealing with, it just wasn't the place. There is a bit of light-heartedness in there, but it's mostly a continuation of her getting her life together.
Gdocs and my work browser have offically gotten a divorce, so I'll be loading it up when I get home. Then I'll be sending it out to my usual crack team of experts (Dragonas77, Statoose, Loeden, Skeeter, Erickilla, and SongCoyote), but let me know if anyone else is interested in pre-reading and letting me know your thoughts. It's always helpful.
I am not sure why Gdocs and Chrome don't play well together sometimes.
Reason I use firefox.
1575001 I'm on my computer at work, and the browser here is so old that a lot of web pages just refuse to function. My job could care less about my internet experience, so they aren't in a big hurry to update.

Is your IT locked down so you can't install your own browser?
That sucks.
1575043 Yup. I work for UPS, so all the big company rules apply. No rights at all. Tech Support Group has to make any changes on the computer, and that's unlikely to happen.
