During the Mane 6’s battle against the changelings Rarity witnesses a moment between two of her friends that implies that they are more than just friends, and after the royal Canterlot wedding draws to a close, decides to inform the other members of the Mane 6. Disagreements arise as the four pony’s debate on both the reason for this moment between two of their friends and whether it actually occurred at all and so they begin to discuss their own interpretations of the event Rarity believes she saw.

Things ended well in "A Canterlot Wedding", but the characters didn't always act as rationally as they might have! [Cancelled] After capturing Twilight during A Canterlot Wedding, Chrysalis decided that keeping her and Cadance locked up underneath the place would be too risky. Instead, she forced them through an ancient mirror-portal said to contain an impenetrable prison created by Starswirl himself, shattering the mirror in the process.

Now, Twilight and Cadance must adapt to a new world and new bodies. Without any magic at their disposal, they must attempt to build a new portal and prepare to face Chrysalis on the other side while also maintaining the guise of normal high schoolers. Luckily, they aren't the only ones interested in reaching Equestria, and they'll cobble together an unlikely alliance of beings from both sides of the mirror to help them in their quest.

A Canterlot Wedding and Equestria Girls AU that, rather than aiming to be a fixfic, simply takes an alternate (and perhaps longer) path.

Amethyst Star (also known as Sparkler) is a unicorn who lives in Ponyville. She's the librarian for the Golden Oaks Library, and loves to read. But when there's a huge threat to Equestria and she knows how to stop it, she isn't just going to sit idly by.

Amethyst needs to make sure the planning for the thousandth Summer Sun Celebration goes by perfectly. After all, they do call her the best organizer in all of Ponyville for a reason. But when things go horribly wrong and Nightmare Moon returns, she needs to find the Elements of Harmony and somehow harness their power against the evil alicorn. But Amethyst isn't alone on her quest for the Elements, as five other ponies are coming with her.

What does it mean to be immortal? Celestia has lived for too long. Her memories are old. She has seen many ponies, and many places, and many times, and many stars, and many dreams. She wakes one night to find she does not know the ponies and the stars of today from the ponies and the stars of any other day she has lived. She no longer knows what was real and what was only dreamed.

She desperately searches for the one pony she knows could not have been a dream.

Cadance is a happy mare. She is the niece of Princess Celestia, an alicorn, she cares for a sweet little filly names Twilight, the parents of the filly are among her closest friends, and she even has her eye on a special stallion who is kind and noble. She needs and wants for nothing; she has her whole life in front of her.

But one night a question starts to grow in her mind- exactly how long is this life she has ahead of her? And how much heartbreak will she have to face during it?

Since her return and rescue, Princess Luna has been looking for some way to properly honor the six mares who saved her from herself, but nothing she has been able to think of has seemed meaningful enough to repay her saviors.

Nothing, at least, until she spends Nightmare Night in Ponyville, and gets to actually know the six ponies to whom she owes such a great debt. She realizes she enjoys their company, and wishes for them to spend more time with her, that she might grow closer to them.

So, in accordance with many fine and ancient traditions, and after thinking it over for a good...couple of hours, easy, she proclaims that she shall marry all six of them. Oh, and that Twilight will be marrying Celestia, too.

Now would be the appropriate time for everypony to panic.
